Visited during a recent NYC stay after eating there once several years ago. Different from back then, the restaurant was less crowded. Service was quick and friendly, food was still tasty. Except of the bread which had that fresh from a plastic bag smell. The prices are more than fair. You get a lot of good food for your money.

It was a delightful experience! The place has a simple yet inviting ambiance, perfect for a casual meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided great service, making the visit even more enjoyable. The shawarma was a standout—delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced at just $7.50 for a big serving. The combination of fresh ingredients and flavorful meat was spot on. Additionally, the variety of Middle Eastern products available for purchase adds a unique touch to the place. Overall, Oasis Shawarma offers great food at great prices with excellent customer service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and affordable meal.

great place, the staff is very nice and communicative, don't be afraid to ask - they give good advice!!! the place is small, but it gives the impression of space. they care about cleanliness! I ordered a kebab and I still can't believe it was so tasty!!!! no! I've eaten better in this country!!! great balance of vegetables, sauce and lamb. The meat was perfectly cooked on the grill. I will definitely come back there with my friends!!! Oh, I forgot to add that it's not expensive!

The Shawarma sandwich is so so tasty, it is juicy and fresh. The sauce that used called Thomia is another story, when I got this huge sandwich with these fresh ingredients for $7.50 I didn't believe my eyes. The sandwich is big and they are so generous and hospitality. I definitely recommended especially for families who seek tasty food with reasonable price 😋

Got a delicious falafel sandwich here! All the toppings were incredibly fresh and it was only $5.50. Great spot for a quick bite when you're in the area. Their menu is huge and they have a lot of side dishes. Everything was clearly labeled for vegetarian and vegan options.

I was looking for a kebab or shawarma spot and hit the jackpot. No frills on the inside. All taste and flavor. Got the mixed grill platter to taste the diff options. Very juicy meats and the pickled veggies were 10/10. Sauces were also on point and homemade. Would be good for lunch, snack or dinner.

Not great middle eastern food. Food looks fresh however. They were really nice though - fixed my order after they got it wrong and forgot the sauces. The shawarma was breaking upon holding it. I think they used the wrong bread/cheap. Doesn’t taste like a true shawarma sandwich at all.

Oasis is our go to spot for halal food. The have great platters and sandwiches. Some of our favorites are the shish took, kofte kebab, falafel. I highly recommend the mix grill platter if you're really hungry! Oasis offers great food at great prices.

I am so disappointed. Today I ordered a chicken shawarma plate after being sick with no appetite for over a week and this was the first thing I craved, I was given burnt to a crisp chicken more than have of my portion was not edible. I've never had an issue with the food here. This visit was at around 1230p but I'm sure the server wouldn't have paid for this and therefore it shouldn't have been served or sold. I live on the Brooklyn/Queens boarder next to JFK and couldn't even think of heading back to Williamsburg for a refund or for a new plate.

After all these years I still love Oasis. They never skimp on toppings and heartiness of the falafel wrap. For less than $6 I had a nice midday snack. Could also be lunch if got it as a plate for a few dollars more. Seating space inside clean and tidy. Servers were speedy but polite. On the Bedford Ave strip where there's lots of other options, this one is still super nice reliable. Thank you, Oasis!

If I had a child, I hope they would marry someone like the falafel plate at Oasis. Value oriented. Reliable. Fulfilling. I hope my child would be allergic to falafel, so that I would never have to share the plate with them. I hope my child would work hard, learn a lot, and become successful so some day they could buy me a falafel plate. I don't have a child. Oh well. I have Oasis. Decent spot but really average tasting falafel sandwich. Need more flavor & sauces to take this one to the next level. Service is fast & ambiance is like good, well lit.

I've been sleeping on this place too long. Even if there were more options around for this kind of food, I don't think I would go to them because Oasis is so good. The falafel might be the best I have ever had. I love all their salads/sides, like the carrots, beets and the eggplant salad. The Baba ganoush is outstanding, and hummus isn't bad either. Grape leaves aren't my favorite thing in general, but I enjoy them here. Services is always quick and easy...whereas it is the kind of place you could see having a gruff new york service style. Likewise, it isn't chaotic inside, as you could expect in the middle of Bedford. Value is almost unparalleled these days, more of as a function of everything else being more expensive, as Oasis is not cheap, but is very fairly priced.

My favorite is the makali sandwich (friend cauliflower). The chicken sandwich is also good. Amazing prices for being in the heart of Williamsburg. Definitely recommend

We got the Makali sandwich, a side of falafels and a cheese pie. The Makali sandwich was certainly unique, and had good flavor. The falafels were so crisp and soft inside. I mixed the falafels with the sandwich and created my own combo. The cheese pie was a tad salty. Tasty food, will definitely recommend and will be back to try their other items.

Really really solid falafel, especially considering the affordable price. I ordered the falafel pita, bit of a shame it's an extra charge for chummus and babaganoush so I skipped it, as well as the hot sauce. Food was ready Lightning fast and the falafel was steaming! A little cumin heavy but really delicious otherwise. I may return if I'm in the area. They have a bathroom for customers and a nice amount of inside seating. As well as an extensive selection of drinks and even a little market stocked with pantry goods. Really pleasant Arabic music was playing in the restaurant between advertisements. These guys are incredibly efficient, the line moves fast. A proud Palestinian owned establishment.

Mid at best. Flavor is ok. Lamb tough to chew. Don't get the hype have gone twice. Sammy's Halal (now Pasha's Halal) cart 10x better flavor and cheaper. Don't even want to eat my leftovers.

Authentic Palestine food cuisine! I love the food... it's so delicious. Arabic music is in. You'll feel you're visiting there. Store friendly ;) walking distances from Bedford L highly recommend! They have a bathroom.

You can't beat the price, flavor, or quality at Oasis. I usually get the chicken shawarma sandwich, which is a pita packed with flavorful chicken, crisp veggies, and delicious white and hot sauce. I usually get a side of the white sauce too, it's that good. The seating in the restaurant is pack pretty tightly so I would plan on eating quickly here or getting your food to go. Oasis is the definition of affordable, high quality food. I'll be back again and again.

A great place for cheap eats in Williamsburg - you can't beat a $5.50 falafel pocket with all the fixings! While don't expect much ambiance (though there's plentiful seating inside), all the meats there are grilled fresh to order. Baba ganoush: Very creamy with a lightly smoky flavor - so good I bought a large container to bring home. Hummus: Silky consistency with strong tahini notes. Could eat this by the gallon! Falafel: a bit disappointing - thought they were very dense and lacking flavor. Kafta kebab: Juicy meat with a wonderful combination of flavors, and the right amount of char from the grill. Most folks get the pockets, but the platters are also a good deal because they come with hummus and baba ganoush, as well as rice and many types of salads. They tend to get very busy, but they are incredibly efficient and the line moves quickly.

Shawarma sandwich what a nice pairing of very fresh tasting veggies with creamy sauce, nice chunks of lamb, and a soft/chewy pita. The falafel was crispy and airy and moist on the inside with excellent seasoning and sides of hot sauce and white sauce. The chicken skewer left a lot to be desired though, and came out dry and kind of under-seasoned.

Hummus, tabouleh and beets were good, but the lentil soup was runny and so salty I couldn't eat it. :(

The best Chicken schwarma sandwich I've ever had. The hot sauce is amazing, not too spicy but a good flavor. The hummus is so fresh and tastes great. The pita is soft. And you can't beat this price. I've gotten food there and to go, and either way you can't go wrong. One of my favorite restaurants ever!

Great price, delicious food! We stopped in while walking around Brooklyn and were so happy with our choice. Don't go to the counter until you KNOW what you want. They want efficient ordering! Really good portion sizes! I also got a side salad which was heaping full of delicious veggies. I would absolutely stop in here again!

First stop on our food tour Falafel and chicken Schwarama was very good with a nice tahini sauce Not the restaurants fault, but the food tour was very tacky to have one pile of the chicken and another pile of the falafel in paper plates and the 16 of us in food tour had to crowd around a tiny table and scoop some on our paper plate. People near end of line didn't get much food

I grew up eating falafel from Syria and I'm really partial to that style and Oasis fits the bill! Really flavorful and crunchy falafel with great hummus and yogurt tahini. They have pickled red cabbage ya'all, need I say more. Really great, budget friendly Mediterranean food in Williamsburg. Chefs kiss, hands down.

Positives: Quick Service, Nice, and Awesome made to order French fries, great salads, and very large portions! Negatives: I can only speak to the shawarma plate and sandwich, specifically the shawarma. I've been wanting to try this place for years, and I feel very let down. The meat was very dry and tasteless. The hummus also was bland, the white sauce was very diluted and lacked the garlicky flavor I'd expect. Kicker: they are an establishment that serves ready to eat food, which means they should take precautions when serving... like gloves... I was a little grossed out by the person coughing everywhere and wiping his sweat and not washing his hands and having no gloves. That being said, it didn't feel like an unclean place, these are just things I noticed. In all, the truck by Whole Foods is MILES better than this place, which sucks because I REALLY REALLY don't want it to be. Ugh, just disappointed and hungry.

God bless the people that work here! I had to say that! this place NEVER disappoints. I have been going to Oasis for over 10 years and they are still going strong. I always miss their old location that use to be located closer towards Driggs, but their new location right on Bedford it great too! I always througly enjoy my experience here. Their food is life changing, always fresh, hearty, and healthy. I try to go here physically. But, lately I have been ordering on Seamless. I ordered: 1. Lentil soup (which was delicious just thinking about it is making my mouth water lol. It had a lot of flavor! a lot of love went in this soup) 2. Lahmajine ( this is a blend of beef, onion, tomato, and veg and it goes really well with the garlic whip but doesn't need it) 3. Shawarma plate (which is always very yummy because you can taste the char on the meat. Also the Baba Ghanouj is incredible with this) 4. Hummus (this is also so very amazing and with the pita they have it is incredible) 5. Baklava (Thie Baklava is soooo good! phew. like really delicious guys try it! of course you can't eat it all the time but truly do recommend it. 6. Falafel (So good too! try getting it with Baba Ghanouj and or Hummus. Its really amazing) 7. Fried Cauliflower (Delish) 8. French Fries (Very good and crispy) 9. Lamb Shish Kabab Plate (amazing hunks of meat!) Need I say more? This place has always done wonderful things for the community with their food. I will forever have a special place in my heart for Oasis. Thank you.

The portions are amazing! The baklava is incredible. Delicious. And the service is kind and efficient

Good food with fresh ingredients. Made fresh to order. Love the friendly and speedy service and the yummy and filling sandwich. But the sandwich was a tad cold. But the lamb kafta was so yummy and juicy. The tahini was so good too. Great value!

I eat here at least once a week. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Easily best bang for your buck on Bedford Ave. I love you Oasis.

Cheap food. It's pretty unusual in Williamsburg, isn't it? Oasis has some of the most affordable food, and big portions. Easily the best value for the area. The place can get busy especially at lunch or when it's late. Falafel is my favorite thing to get. I like getting a falafel plate if I'm hungry or sharing it. This is only $7 and comes with red cabbage, hummus, and pitas. It's such a good deal. The rest of the menu isn't very expensive either. If I'm by myself I'll probably get one of the pita sandwiches, as it's plenty and also so cheap. My female friend likes to share the falafel plate. We like making little sandwiches out of the pitas and putting the falafel, hummus, and red cabbage in these. Inside it doesn't have that much of an atmosphere. It's pretty quiet except for a TV showing a Greek channel. The place looks pretty dingy but there's a certain charm about it.

I love this place. So far I've only ordered. The shawarma platter and chicken shawarma platter. I get 2-3 meals from each of those platters. When I'm craving something fresh (homemade pickles with hints of sumac, rich hummus, salad etc) with tons of protein I go to oasis! I always order their platter with a small side of tabbouleh. It's fresh and seasoned really well! I've heard great things about their falafel so I need to try that next. Also the hot sauce is unreal. They should bottle it. My only "complaint" is their rice while super tasty is because it's oily/buttery...its such a small serving in the platter so it's no big deal but I can see the oil at the bottom of the pan as I guiltily enjoy lol

Oasis is a small casual restaurant that deserves so much more love. I came here before and the food always hits the spot. Lamb Shawarma Plate ($12) - For how cheap this dish is compared to everything else in New York, they PACK so much food for you. You will definitely be stuffed after eating this. Many of my friends who have smaller stomachs have made two meals out of the plates. Not only that, but the taste was super flavorful and the ingredients are super fresh. They cook all the meat in the restaurant and they sliced meat off the rotating shawarma tower when you order. They also put hummus, tahini sauce, pickled onions, veggies, and rice in this dish so there's multiple flavors going on. Overall, I highly recommend this place and it's one of the best options for a quick bite at a great price.

Good bang for your buck. The falafel platter was good and a nice serving. The customer service was nice and I got the food pretty fast if that matters to you. Lots of seating. Good place to come alone or on your lunch break.

Great little Mediterranean restaurant for lunch. Finally decided to try this spot a few months ago, and it never disappoints. My go to meal is the falafel sandwiches w/hummus and hot sauce. Perfect portions to fill you up, and very affordable!

If you enjoy Mediterranean food like me or are pescatarian and or vegan this is a place for you! I love to other the Falafel Sandwich because it's so fulfilling and tastes so good. You get about 6 good size falafel with pickled cabbage , Tahini sauce and lettuce. I always add hummus to give it that extra kick! So good. I'm telling you! Also try there veggie platter so good! And there very affordable and tasty one of my fave spots.

Oasis is the real deal. Outstanding, authentic, and consistent food, generous portions, great prices, and fast/convenient service. Oasis is the ideal solution to the "I want food right now, but I want it to be fresh and healthy and also not very expensive" dilemma. From the outside it doesn't look like much, and the atmosphere inside is very casual, but for a quick bite or for delivery/pickup, it's an instant favorite. There's also a small grocery section, containing an enticing array of middle eastern staples and provisions, worth checking out.

You can't beat the value. Where else can you get a filling lunch for $6 on Bedford Ave these days?? And it's not greasy trash! It's good! It's kind of nice inside too, all things considered. Go buy a falafel sandwich and help these guys stay in business.

Very unassuming exterior, but really high quality food. You could see a guy in the back making fresh falafel, and the pickers onions and veggies were very good. Would come back for lunch!

I went here at 9:40PM and the website says 11PM and they told me they were closed. They should update their website so the correct times can be shown.

My friends and I decided to go here after yelping the area for a dinner place. Oasis is located a few steps away from the Bedford Ave (L) exit. We came around 4:30pm on a Saturday and there was room for us to sit. Oasis is more of a takeout place but if you come at the right time, you can enjoy your food comfortably in the restaurant. Along with one of my friends, I ordered the shawarma (beef and lamb) plate ($10) and my other friend got the falafel plate ($7). I cannot get over Oasis' generosity! There is a tendency when plates come with lots of veggies to skimp on the meat but they definitely did not do that! Essentially, the plate was packed with all it could hold. I don't eat Middle Eastern food that often so I just tried every type of side. For the sides, everything was tasty and if I didn't care for it, it was more my preference than the restaurant's error. The meat was juicy, cut thinly and flavorful. For $10, it was definitely worth it. In addition, the two men that were helping us were so friendly and understanding that we had not been there before. They took time to explain the options and provided fantastic service. Again, I'm no expert on Middle Eastern food so I cannot speak to the authenticity but I can tell you their food was delicious and filling! Four stars because I do not live in the area and would not go out of my way for Oasis but if I was in the area, I'd be excited to revisit Oasis for a delectable meal!

Stopped in for a Falafel Pita the other day after finishing work a few blocks away, and this place is a great go to for Falafel Pita's. The store is fully stocked, clean, and ready for you to take your food to go. Service is friendly and accommodating, and you simply cannot beat a 6 dollar Sandwhich! So good. Everything was fresh, Falafel, Tchina, Veggies and Bread. The only thing that could have been better was a little bit more filled in the pita. Lotta space on the top where I would bite and it would be just bread, but when you get down to the insides it's great. 4 stars, decent choice if your in the neighborhood looking for good Falafel.

Had the most S T A C K E D beef and chicken shawarma plate from here!! The plate was overflowing and there was probably enough food to feed a whole family; but instead it fed me 3 times. Individuallly, the items on the plate would probably be mediocre but if you eat them all together it's a great plate.

I'd rate Oasis four and a half stars. I highly recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich! The shawarma is juicy and crispy; very flavorful and well seasoned too. I had the sandwich with everything which included Israeli salad, a red cabbage slaw, and pickles. Had some tahini sauce and harissa hot sauce on top too. The ingredients were outstanding. I just wished the turned the pita on the side when filling it so that each bit has a bit of everything. The ingredients were laid in horizontally so all the chicken was at the bottom, salads were in the middle, and sauce just on the top.

Solid place to get middle eastern food. What I love about this spot is they take their time to cook your order instead of having it pre-heat like any other places sometimes. Relatively big enough portion, I would recommend their kofta [minced beef&lamb meat] kabab platter, it comes with regular or wheat pita bread, babaganoush [eggplant puree], hummus [chickpeas puree], red cabbage salad, pickled cucumbers, and 2 pieces of freshly grilled kofta skewers!

This is THE Falafel place. After having hundreds of falafels over the years, I have never had a falafel this tender and with this very thin outer crispy exterior. Not much more to say other than one awesome falafel! 5 stars!

WOW! I remember when I used to hang in the area a lot and this was a must right before getting on the train. They've relocated to Bedford Ave., just a hop and a skip away from their old location and their food is still good! Had a falafel sandwich with the fixings and a soda, all for $5.10! Affordable, hearty yet light and absolutely delicious. Can't beat that! Good for lunch, dinner or a late night bite. Would definitely recommend! I was in the area for the day but I would totally deal with the L train shenanigans just to have it again. Mm, mm, mmmm!

Thurs Aug 12 I got the chicken sandwich and a side of falafel I'm still dreaming about it. Really messy so be ready (was the pita stale) didn't really matter since I'll most likely get it again today. Fella behind the counter looked like one of the cooks. Super nice upon pick up of my order. Went out of his way to wish me a good day. That means a lot the way things are today. He earned that fifth star

First time here and love the vibe of the guy behind the counter. The Falafel sandwich was so good. I was kind of upset I did not order another, but it did satisfy my appetite. I also ordered the Lentil soup and that was delicious. The men there are real gentlemen and it feels like a family vibe so I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good warm Meditteranean homestyle meal.
