"Gothamist I am constantly searching for a great Italian sandwich the way meerkats constantly scan the horizon for predators. And this week, I found a great new option at the recently-opened Oasis Wynwood, an outdoor food hall/concert venue/bar. One of the vendors on the property is Alidoro, a sandwich shop from New York City. I got the Gothamist, which comes with prosciutto, sun-dried tomato paste, lemon basil pesto, and a healthy amount of burrata. It was a little messy, but very satisfying. "A massive outdoor venue, this sprawling complex is many things: a food hall, music venue and bar all in one. DJ's, Wynwood artists, fashion bloggers, and parents pushing thousand-dollar strollers set the scene here. But this is also the place to come if you're serious about food—the offerings here are sophisticated while also being a good option for feasting any time of the day and into evening. There's truly something for everyone here, but most of it is skewed to the drinking and munching crowd. Los Buenos is a sibling taqueria of Wynwood’s famous Coyo Taco, while Buya Dumplings & Buns specialize in rice bowls and buns stuffed with grilled meats and veggies.
