Obsidian Pizza @ Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley

Obsidian Pizza at Austin Beerworks (Sprinkle Valley) is seriously on point. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by pizza at a brewery, but this place delivers—literally and figuratively. The crust is perfectly crisp with just the right chew, and the toppings are super fresh and creative without trying too hard. You can tell they actually care about what they’re making. We had the pepperoni pizza and it was unreal. The pepperoni is that crispy-edged, slightly spicy kind that curls up into little flavor cups when it bakes—so satisfying. It’s got a perfect balance of savory and a hint of sweetness from the sauce, with just enough cheese to hold it all together without overpowering the rest. Simple, but done perfectly. The crew is friendly, and the setup makes grabbing a bite with your beer easy and relaxed. Obsidian is a top-tier pizza spot that totally holds its own—and then some. Highly recommend! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and pretzel bites while at ABW this past weekend and even short staffed and issues with their texting system the pizza was still fantastic! I reached out regarding the text message issue and the customer service was second to none, looking forward to my next time at ABW and grabbing another pie !

We had an amazing experience! I’ve recently had to give up dairy and have had a hard time finding a pizza that I love. We got the Thai pizza with the vegan cheese and one without the vegan cheese and they were truly incredible. Both my husband and I said that we would come back just for the pizza! It was even better without the vegan cheese. The customer service was also great. They were very accommodating, the pizza came back quick and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. This is our new favorite pizza spot!

Stopped by ABW today and tried Obsidian Pizza. Some reviews said this pizza was amazing and that is why opinions are subjective. I got the pepperoni and it is average at best. Dough is chewy like cardboard and is more like a frozen pizza ( not good). Pepperoni is small cup type which is good but sauce is bland and lacking flavor. I should have picked the taco truck. Finished 4 of 6 slices.

Trying this place for the first time I was hesitant to pay $20 for a 12in pizza made in a food truck. But I tried it anyways since the toppings sounded delicious. We waited about an hour for two pies and the place was not busy at all :( When I walked up a second time to ask what was up, the pizzas were just sitting there. I hadn't received a text message. The place has decent pizza in a great space at the brewery. However, I can only imagine how bad service would get when lots of people are ordering. I'd recommend they sell smaller 9in pies for less $$$. They'd probably get them out quicker and service would be more efficient. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this pizza place to friends or family.

This pizza is soooooo good! It’s fresh and the cheese bread is a must have!!! The ranch ties it all together!

I ordered 1 slice of pepperoni and it took around an hour. They didn’t say anything about wait times when I ordered, and they didn’t tell me that if I ordered something else, then I could get it pretty quickly. I saw lots of people behind me in line get their pizza right away. Truly insane wait time for a very average, single slice of pizza. I would give zero stars if I could.

Great pizza! The crust is crispy on the bottom and chewy to pull apart, very good! I got the pepperoni add jalapeno. The jalapenos are fresh, not pickled, which I appreciate. Would recommend!
