As locals, we love eating out by the ocean in spite of the fact that we are a popular tourist destination. We enjoyed dinner at 3030 Ocean last Saturday evening. Located inside the Marriott Harbor Hotel is this gem of a restaurant. From start to finish, our meal was superb. The mussels were prepared in a light, rich rosemary infused buttery sauce, plentiful, cooked to perfection and served with grilled pita bread. We started eating them before I took the photo! The scallops with lemongrass and farro was layered with flavor and the Patagonian sea bass was exceptionally tasty with bok choy and edamame purée. Try the light and refreshing coconut sorbet for dessert. We will return soon, and perhaps a bit later in the evening as there were younger children there, tourists staying in the hotel, we presume, and it was a bit noisy. We were very pleased with our server! Valet parking is available with charming and knowledgeable attendants. The ocean view is spectacular as you would expect. The menu is small, and obviously allows the chef to showcase his/her skills!

Google
Roshan was an amazing waiter, he recommended delicious dishes for us and was very kind. I 100% recommend the burrata appetizer, the sea scallops and the sea bass. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. This place is definitely worth it. The old fashioned was served with smoke 💨 too.

Sandra Lambert

Google
Our server Ms.Jackie was phenomenal. She treated my partner and I as if we were her family. The food was OUTSTANDING and bursting with flavor. For our entrees, I had the scallops with squid ink risotto and my partner had the grouper with forbidden rice and a side of mac and cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor , I mean we practically licked our plates clean. And of course you have a beautiful view. We sat inside but near a window so we got to see the beautiful beach. A perfect dinner outing.

Google
Excellent food. Not too fancy of a restaurant, it is located within the Marriot hotel, and is formal. It is cozy and calm. The black cod and the Sea scallops were particularly tasty! And the sides wete the Brussels and Mac n cheese very good.

Elena Prokhovska

Google
Everything was perfect, food, service and drinks. I got the best meat and wild mushrooms in my life! Only the octopus seemed weird to me, but I guess it's not for everyone. However, it was good. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who served us, she was very nice.

David Ciochetty

Google
Located within the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. Outside and inside seating available. Def try for reservations Friday and Saturday for preference for outside tables with a direct view of the beach. Ate here 3 times during our stay. Recommend the parsnip & leek soup and the plantain hummus as appetizers, any of the dinner salads, plus the fresh grouper. Leave room for the real Key lime pie, though the cheesecake was a close second. Wait staff explained the menu well. Bar pours were strong.

Google
I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience. We asked if they could make the caesar salad dairy free and they said yes… they served us two tiny pieces of bib lettuce with a side of olive oil. That’s it! Nothing else. For $16!! I asked them to take it back as that was ridiculous and the manager came over and said that they couldn’t really make it dairy free based on the ingredients and that’s why we got what we did. If you can’t accommodate a dairy restriction, that’s perfectly fine. Don’t serve a piece of naked lettuce for $16. We also got the sea bass and it was good, but it was maybe (maybe!) 4 oz. $45. It came with a tablespoon of garnish. Stupidity overpriced and totally not worth it. I wish I had taken pictures as the portions really were laughable. We went to the hotel gift shop to buy snacks after our expensive dinner as we were still hungry.

Yelp
If you stay at the hotel you must go to the 3030 Ocean Bar or go even if you're not staying on property. The bartenders are awesome, so personable and will give you outstanding service! Especially...William and Griffin. Go and see them..the coolest guys! Top notch!! Definitely go see William and Griffin! They make the bar :-)

Swill E.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken and green pea jus. I sub the green pea jus for broccoli and mashed potatoes. It wont let me upload the picture i just took. The presentation was on point. On a scale of 1 to 10 each item. Chicken 4 of 10 Mash potatoes 2 of 10 Broccoli 1 of 10 I'd give less if I could. The waitress was so nice. She was tipped well.

Cynthia T.

Yelp
We eat her because our daughter has prom and she likes us to drive her. Our server was Robert, he was so amazing. He was attentive and brought each dish out exactly at the right time. We ordered the gazpacho soup and the wedge salad and then for dinner we ordered the black grouper and had some macaroons for dessert. It was perfect! Definitely an upscale restaurant.

LOIS B.

Yelp
I can only address the bar. While we waited for our room to be ready, we sat here and enjoyed a delicious drink and watched the NFL playoff football game. Crowd was enthusiastic, service was quick, everyone was friendly, and it was a cozy area to relax after some hectic travel. No complaints.

Victor C.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant inside Ft Lauderdale Marriott Beach Resort. Really nice ambiance with excellent service. The food is as great I had the grouper and my wife the Wagyu steak.

Dar O.

Yelp
Located inside the Marriot hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We stayed here one night before taking a cruise. This is their restaurant & bar inside the hotel. Classy and good looking restaurant and bar area. We sat in the bar area and the bartenders and friendly and attentive. They regularly check up on you to make sure you're doing good well. Had their charcuterie board which was very good. Good selection of meats, cheeses, nuts, crackers and honey comb. Prices are reasonable considering it's a hotel restaurant.

Cassandra C.

Yelp
Initially I would have given this less stars based on my first night experience but night 2 redeemed itself. Night one we sat at the bar and it took a really long time to get served even with multiple bartenders working and not a full bar. We ordered 2 different glasses of wine and saw the bartender pouring the wine in the same glass for measuring before pouring into our wine glasses. They also were not the friendliest. The second night our waitress made up for it. She was sweet and was extremely attentive. Drinks were brought to us quickly and she really made up for the experience.

Mimi V.

Yelp
Sat at the bar, had to wait till someone will finally give me a menu and then begged to order some food and drink all this time bartender was moving around not letting me finish the sentence and take my complete order. I started with appetizer hoping to have dinner but had to leave as bartender never come back to ask if I am ready to order more food and drinks despite I told him I was there for full dinner. But he was best of the worst as other bartenders did not even confided to approach me when I made eye contact.

W. Elizabeth O.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at a hotel restaurant! Exceptional and attentive service by Ricardo.

Erika R.

Yelp
The night we decided to eat here the restaurant went from fairly quiet to jampacked. We were staying at the hotel and saw that there is a wedding going on and right after the ceremony it started to rain so everybody ducked inside. Luckily we had a reservation, which didn't seem necessary until the rain in the off-season, despite the mad rush, we still had excellent service, and though I could tell our waitress was very busy. She still was very patient and attentive with us. We did have a coupon which prompted us to try this restaurant out while we stayed here. The food here was good but the portions were a bit small so if we didn't have the coupons, I think I would've been a little alarmed at the bill We got the snow crab appetizer, which was delicious, but very small as in one tiny claw. I ordered the scallops which were delicious, buttery, fresh and well cooked. I don't remember what my boyfriend ordered, I think he finished it by the time I looked up from my plate. We had room for dessert so we decided to split a slice of Keylime pie, which was also very good. All in all a great dining experience, but without the coupon would have felt overpriced.

David G.

Yelp
Went here with a large group and all was quite good. Service, food, entertainment. there's not a huge selection of high end restaurants in this particular location of Ft.Lauderdale but this one is worth a visit.

Cat N.

Yelp
came here on a saturday night, with an 8 oclock reservation, to have dinner with my cousins. the restaurant is at the marriott hotel, so the entrance is a little hard to find, but we parked with valet (which was very busy), and the restaurant was straight ahead. there were 5 of us (3 adults and 2 kids). the host was very accommodating to us by giving us a large table, and the server even provided a plastic cup for the kids' water. service was a little on the slow side, but it was nice for us because we got to hang out and catch up, instead of feeling rushed. i got the smoked fish dip as an app, which was really good ! i always have to try a smoked fish dip when dining at an ocean spot. it tasted fresh and definitely worth ordering again. my entree, miso halibut with bok choy and lentils, was absolutely delicious. i literally ate every single bite and wasnt expecting to .. before i knew it, it was gone lol it was nice to be right on the water; after dinner we all went outside and walked along the dock. it was a really heartfelt visit with my family and i appreciated being here with them.

Yelp
Last night we had dinner at 3030 Ocean inside the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa at 3030 Holiday Dr, Ft Lauderdale. We chose this because we had received a restaurant.com certificate as a gift. We had 6pm reservations. We arrived at about 5:45pm. Valet parking was $15 which was about what I expected. We headed to the restaurant and we're greeted by the host who checked us in and about 5 minutes later we were taken to our table. We had a really nice view. The staff the we interacted with were all very nice. The restaurant and the resort are really nice as well. We started with a grey goose extra dirty martini with extra olives and a double grey goose on the rocks. We then decided to go vegetarian and ordered 3 shareables which filled us up completely. The food was sublime. Fantastic flavors and extremely well prepared. We had the focaccia with goat cheese & tomato jam, heirloom carrots & grilled asparagus. We never new this existed and we definitely will be back.

Yelp

Yelp
The restaurant has a nice ambiance with an ocean view. The place is very clean and great service. Attached to the restaurant is a fully stocked bar and they typically have live music throughout the week. The oysters were ok, had better. The fish and risotto were very good. The chicken was slightly dry but had decent flavor which kinda tasted like tea-bbq rub.

Fay F.

Yelp
I always wanted to try this restaurant so I decided to give it a try when I found a good promotion on Restaurants.com. Overall the food was okay and mostly on the spicy side. I enjoyed the Cesar salad and dip stuff the most. Music was very load and you could barely hear the people that you sat at same table with which was not that great. Service was really good thou!

Demora F.

Yelp
This was an amazing restaurant . Staff very friendly and welcoming . Food and drink was the highlight of the evening . I had the red snapper wth mash. The fish was so delicious Mash smooth and creamy. It was a perfect combo. I had a French 75 for my cocktail and dessert was the lava cake Our server was very attentive and periodically checked to make sure water glasses were filled and all was good. Really is a 5 star experience.

Ani S.

Yelp
Skip the crab cake appetizer unless you like them soft and mushy. The Caesar salad needs more flavor -- garlic perhaps. Other than that, the food was delicious. The window view is nice but the place gets busy and there's lots of noise from the bar. Live music in the lobby is helpful to cover it up. Try the salmon! The outside is crispy and flavorful. Tender scallops with risotto were tasty. Finish with dark chocolate mousse topped with cream and toasted coconut.

Jessica D.

Yelp
The service was wonderful to start! Kevin my waiter and the Assistant Manager Daniel (if I'm correct) were lovely, as was the food runner Kriss! I had the Grouper which was tasty, although I would've liked more sauce! The old fashions sweet were fantastic and the Tres Leches was a bonus I didn't need but greatly enjoyed! The mango custard served with it was an added bonus! Highly recommend! Music and ambiance for close to the beach in Fort Lauderdale make it worth a stop! Assistant manager told me a lot of the folks were long time employees and you can tell by the quality of service! Kudos to them!

Jeff S.

Yelp
Dad wanted some live music, Tuesday night came here musician wasn't bad. Light crowd mediocre ambience. Food was lacking not much selection tucked away inside Marriot beach resort, felt like had to have restaurant to be 4 star hotel....

Meg C.

Yelp
Overall about 3 starts but I was underwhelmed. The food is good however the key lime pie filing was not set at all it was runny. The crust is obviously store bought not made in house. I also had an issue with the shrimp. They were either not fresh or over cooked. I've never sent anything back like thay before but I was afraid to eat it. Their filet and mash potatoes were amazing as was the rose. The bar and restaurants saving grace is Irwin the bartender, their hostess and Robert their server. Kind, attentive and professional they were great and ultimately saved our experience. Whoever is the male host was actually condescending when we asked if a table would be open before our reservation. Sarcastically offering a table outside when it's 40 degrees isn't cute. It's unprofessional. The entire interaction was unpleasant and rude. The bartender, not Irwin, was also rude. Not only to us but a woman asking for tea as well. He clearly doesn't want to be there and has little time for you so don't bother. Overall not great. I get staffing is an issue but those two employees need to go asap.

Squirrel-face S.

Yelp
sitting at the bar watching three bartenders- One picking his nose, rubbing his eyes and compulsively scratching his head. The other clumsily bumping into the two female servers and into the other two bartenders, which makes me wonder IF he's been consuming some of the goods, maybe? The food bartender that's the one waiting on me, insisted I give him my credit card to start a "tab", but I ordered was a Gingerale, only to find out later that this restaurant does not do this? I also never got it back and had to leave for the airport and just cancel it. SO--I'd give this outfit a one finger rating, guess which finger;D!

Kim W.

Yelp
I can't vouch for the full dinner service but the drinks, bar service and mid-day snacks are all perfect. I really recommend the spicy tequila cocktail, it has a really nice balance of sweet and heat. Also please try the Fish dip, if you're into that sort of thing. I could've eaten 2 bowls of this treat if I felt so inclined. They make it in house and it's the perfect balance of smoked fish and creamy dip. Also had the broccolini which was perfectly roasted with great lemony flavor, no unnecessary char.

Willie W.

Yelp
Came to this bar several times while staying at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach, and the environment was awesome. Very classy and the drink prices weren't that bad. I definitely recommend this place.

CarolAnn G.

Yelp
We came to Harbor Beach to celebrate a week of break for our daughter from law school. I even clicked it that it was a "Special Occasion". Unfortunately, no one asked. Service was good. Attentive. Why have a dress code listed if people can dress however they want??? All of the waitstaff were wearing masks. We both started with splits of Prosecco to celebrate. The chef brought out a special appetizer- crab slaw on a puff. My daughter tried it since I don't it shell fish. Lovely touch. He did it for every table. They served bread with salted butter. Should have been served warm. The whole grain brain was good with the butter. I had the local grouper and substituted asparagus for the risotto with asparagus cut up in it. It was lovely. My daughter had the Caesar salad and the mashed potatoes - two things she adores. Saved room for dessert since there was caramel salted cheesecake on the menu, which of course we got. The kosher salt was on the caramel drizzle it should have been sprinkled on top too. Would have been a good touch. (Yes - I am a foodie and you'd never know that when you look at me!) Overall - yes , we will come back and try something else. People seemed to like the sandwiches.

Jacob E.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for our one year anniversary. Coincidentally this was also the place of our first date. Unfortunately our first time here was much much better than this experience. Service was great and sitting outside with the ocean in front helps make any experience better. The food just wasn't great and it's tough to stomach because you're paying resort prices. We usually eat most our meals and if we don't always box up to take home and we barely ate half of our meals. Maybe everything felt better cause of first date jitters but after this last experience I don't think we will be coming back to 3030 ocean.

Mrs.Taffer J.

Yelp
Fantastic service and food. And the views were just beautiful. Ordered the grouper and turtle drink w a glass of rose. Chefs kiss.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Really enjoyable experience at 3030 We sat at the bar, had a few drinks and shared an appetizer. Bar tender also gave us fresh bread and butter which was delciious Went back a second night to 3030 and had another great experience, incredible service, yummy drinks and decadent desserts. Nadia is hands down the best server we have ever had. She was funny and polite and friendly. She also had great rapport with the tables around us and was timely!

Jerry B.

Yelp
We have given this place a try multiple times over the past few years hoping it would one day return to what it once was as both 3030 and Sheffields in a previous life - however this was the last try. Went there for Christmas Dinner last night and it was overall the most underwhelming, disappointing, overpriced experience. The bar was packed in the lobby which seemed to be a good sign, the tables inside however were 2/3 full. The first thing that jumped out was the small menu which depending on which site you looked at online showed different offerings. The service was lacking and inattentive - we had to ask what the specials for fish/meat were and then the waiter told us the porterhouse option was great - he sold 3 all night (should have been the first sign). We skipped the $24 single octopus arm as did every other table around us when they asked what came with the app and were told a single charred octopus arm- we ordered salads which were brought out and dropped off (never asked if we wanted pepper - we had to go to the server station and get it for ourselves) We were in the mood to try a good juicy cooked steak so we ordered the porterhouse and what came out was an overall pink - non char grilled steak that looked like it was tossed on a Foreman Grill - the steak was cooked to order but had no seasoning with the exception of a chimichuri sauce that was drizzled on top - when the waiter came back and asked how everything was and we told him it was bland he said do you want more sauce that comes on top of it? At the end when he asked about dinner he just stared at us when we told him how disappointingly bad everything was - then said "well that's not what I usually hear, I usually get people telling me how great everything was" then walked away to talk to another waiter at the computer. Now, we are a day later and I am still in amazement that there was not even an offer of how can we fix this or make it better as a dinner, not even a manager came over to see how things were or to discuss the disappointing meal - I will say they did give the table 4 desserts on the house which was a nice offer, but surely not enough to ever convince me/us to try this place ever again. This establishment is not now and sadly I don't believe ever will be what it once was - as someone who has been coming here for over 25 years, this is the lowest point I have seen it in terms of service, quality or even care. Final take: overpriced, over rated, lack of concern for the customer or the experience - there are much better places to go spend your $$$ for much better service and quality of food.

Johnny W.

Yelp
Use restaurant.com and you will like it a lot better! Really small portions even with supposedly large plates but the food is outstandingly amazing and if you use the restaurant coupon you can get 50% offf which makes it 4 stars. If paying full price then this is not much more than 3 as you will leave hungry with a lighter wallet.

Heather T.

Yelp
Ate here twice during the same week. One night it was very crowded, and on another pretty quiet. The menu is well thought out, interesting cocktails with variety and local flair. Wine & Beer selections covered many choices. Both nights I ordered the three course tasting menu, and was utterly impressed. One night I had: watermelon gazpacho, grilled octopus, and grouper. The other: tuna poke, littleneck clams, and grilled skirt steak. They were all really good. Prepared so well, I felt as if I had a personal chef. Besides the three course tasting menu, there is a regular menu, lots of vegetables, nutrient heavy foods, and there's even a chefs surprise menu. Both nights I had great service too! But I'd like to call out Wilson who was attentive and kind. Though I was by myself, I was treated like it was a special night. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. We ordered this and the bronzini, along with a grilled octopus appetizer. The dishes reminded me of San Sabastian Spain. Service was great, the restaurant was quite noisy.

Alex B.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. Very kind wait staff who took the time to ask the chef about mercury content in various fish (my wife is pregnant). We ordered the NY strip steak which was AMAZING and the scallops which were also very good. The old fashioned gets bonus points for using the correct size ice cube (singular). Our dessert was the chocolate mousse. It tasted like bland pudding with orange flavoring. Would not recommend. They lost a star for two reasons: *The dessert *They brought, poured (and charged) us for a second bottle of sparkling water without asking. $8 bottle I still would recommend!

Sam M.

Yelp
No ambiance. Very expensive. No table cloths. Tiny menu. Chicken $39 came w radicchio lettuce like rubber. No bread. Small portions. Service not that attentive and only 4 tables occupied. $14 piece of pie. Way overrated.

Candice C.

Yelp
I would give the food a solid 8/10, the service was a 9/10 and I would give the ambiance a 9/10. I went to the restaurant for a family birthday and I think I was disappointed by the portion size more than anything else. I would still visit again.

Gilly S.

Yelp
I dined at 3030 for the first and last time with my family since it was located at our hotel but let's start with the good, our waiter Robert was wonderful. He was so very on top of it and gave us wonderful service. In regard to service, I would give 3030 a thousand stars on account of the incredible Robert. Good service can make or break an experience and Robert made ours because the food sure did not. Therefore, our meals were underwhelming and unmemorable as it was about as average as average could be. However, there were some bright spots on the menu, and the herb chicken and key lime are among them. If you're looking for nutrition and hydration, this place will do. Although, manage your expectations because it does not offer much in the way of gastronomical delight.

Walter B.

Yelp
We went for dinner to 3030 and were happy we did. There was a loud reception ongoing, and we were seated away from it so the noise was bearable. The menu was limited, which is OK these days, but the management needs to get it's act together and change the website menu. The wine list, while also limited, is good. Our Riesling was delicious and a great match with the grilled Octopus, pan-seared scallops and the seared snapper. The service was top notch. Ricardo was fast, knowledgeable and entertaining. We will be back.

Tamerlan G.

Yelp
Nice place a little dark inside but we got sat next To a large window per our request and had some daylight that turned into moonlight . Menu has enough choices and to my taste all sides with main dishes are excellent . Grouper and snapper tasted good. Oysters were excellent . Crab claw was not cracked so made a huge mess at the table . Nice selection of Wine and desert was pretty good . Overall good restaurant if you're staying at the hotel . I would not come out of my way to dine here.

Nestor M.

Yelp
Excellent service and ambiance. Fresh oysters and Tuna Crudo exquisite!! The Black Grouper is very tasty and delicious. We will be back soon.

Ron C.

Yelp
One of the things that makes a resort complete is having a decent restaurant and bar. While a city might have large and eclectic offering of eateries, it's nice not to have to think too hard on where to find sustenance. The point is accentuated by a factor of ten if the restaurant is consistently good. Here in lies the challenge: To dine at the hotel or not? 3030 Ocean Restaurant & Bar is very good! The very fact that I dined here four times should tell the tale. But it's more than that: There is good plethora of well drinks, wines, crudité and entrées to satisfy many a finicky eater. Appetizers range from charcuterie to fish dip, sliders (High end bacon by the way) to crab cakes. As per entrees, I vacillated between the pork chops (Very good) and the Fillet Mignon. And the Carmel Cheesecake is not to be missed. Splash that down with the Pimm's Margarita and you'll find yourself fed and satisfied. Needless to say this a popular joint with those staying here (The bar fills up fast) so reservations are a must through Open Table.

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Our first time here was an overall nice experience. The food portions are a little small for the price but our server Robert was amazing. We couldn't see the ocean from the restaurant because it was too dar but I imagine that the view is beautiful during the day (next time we return, we'll go for an early dinner to catch the view). Great date night place for an anniversary!

Danielle N.

Yelp
Enjoyed an amazing dining experience here! After a beach day we decided to eat at the hotel vs. venturing out. We were not disappointed! Everything we had was delicious and the service was top notch. William gave us great descriptions on the menu and spoke like a true foodie. Appreciate all the wonderful service and stellar food.

Tay E.

Yelp
Great seafood and good service. We had a larger group as we all stayed at this Marriott and overall everyone enjoyed the dinner including Grouper special, grilled octopus w lobster, and shrimp dish. The lobster was over cooked and done of the sauces were just not right. The service was very slow including getting the bill at the end where we waited over 40 min as we were the last ones at the restaurant. So overall a 3.5, so rounded up to 4 stars as the ambience was great and nice to hang out by the outdoor fireplace w the ocean sounds not too far away. I think this was the only hotel in Ft lauderdale that was right on the beach--whereas the W and even the Ritz, you have to cross the road to get to the beach. Small but significant difference to us.

Josh P.

Yelp
What a real disappointment. I made reservations a month out for my wife's birthday. They did not put us at a special table. They did not acknowledge her birthday. The service was slow, and the food was spotty at best. The polenta was very good, but by grouper was very over cooked. Its very loud, and not intimate. It was not what I expected, and the reviews to me were way more favorable then my experience. I would not go again. Many other options in town.

Mark V.

Yelp
Tasty hotel restaurant dining choice with an elegant interior, great service, & pricey menu as expected serving delicious food. This beautiful restaurant right off the main lobby includes a gorgeous, giant bar perfect for meeting up with friends or business partners. It also has a giant flatscreen TV great for catching a game while traveling. It really makes the lobby of this giant Marriott. Well appointed and attractive interior with comfortable tables. Good for "dining in" when too tired to travel outside the hotel. They served me lunch even though they weren't supposed to open until 6 PM. So I appreciated that. My server was also the bartender who was doing everything alone. And she waited on me great! I started off with a classic; French onion soup. Served in a giant bowl with big layer of cheese on top. It was actually really hot when it first came out, but after breaking through the cheese the soup started to cool. I enjoyed the soup, but I wish there was more bread inside along with the onions. But it was tasty and a nice start. For lunch I ordered the blackened mahi sandwich. I substituted coleslaw for the fries. The blackened fish was a good size for the sandwhich. The fish was a little dry however and I wished there was more mayo on the bun othad at least given a little extra on the side. Service was great, I have to hand it to the bartender she was doing everything and doing a great job. Never had to wait. Recommended if you're looking for a good meal with a convenient location right inside the Marriott. As you should expect it will be pricey but satisfying and tasty!

Yelp
Great dinner ! Our server Stephen was fantastic! Great suggestions . We started with small plates . I had the hanger steak . It was delicious and cooked perfectly . We had great wine options . Had the key lime bar for dessert and a cappuccino to end the evening . It was fantastic ! Only downfall was that we had to wait a little longer in between courses . The restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening.

Yelp
What a great date night at 3030 Ocean! Le boyfriend made a reservation for Sunday night after I got back from a long trip. I've heard of 3030 before but actually didn't have it bookmarked. We arrived early to discover that the restaurant is inside the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel. You can self park in their garage and have the restaurant validate your parking. We sat at the bar for a bit to get a drink before checking in for our reservation and had a mojito and their watermelon mint martini. Bartenders were great and both drinks were super refreshing. However, when we went to check in at the hostess station for our reservation there was a strange hold up. A lot of parties were trying to check in at once and the hostess was MIA. When she finally arrived it took a bit of direction from another member of the staff to figure out who to help first. Not sure if she was in training; we didn't mind waiting but the whole situation just seemed a bit unorganized. Our waiter was nice but not very personable or friendly. We both chose the three course menu which is honestly a great deal. I've read other reviews that the portions were small but I thought they were perfect considering there's three courses plus bread and we ordered an extra side. Out of all the courses our favorites were the pear salad, braised lamb pasta, charred octopus. We also really liked the side of brussels/cauliflower. The mains were good but we weren't really wowed. Overall this was a great experience. We were disappointedly too full for dessert but I'm sure we'll definitely be back again as their menu rotated and it was an amazing atmosphere for a date night dinner.

Yelp
Huge fan of the Marriott Harbor Beach and after a run along A1A in 93 degree heat, I was ready for a healthy meal (with wine of course!). I sat at the bar and this is a place where a single female can be very comfortable. The bartender, Fred, made me feel very welcome and was very adept at handling all the people there - busy this evening. Started with a glass of Meiomi Chardonnay which I loved!! Sourced from Monterey, Sonoma and Santa Barbara counties ( I would love to be in any of those places right about now!). The Ahi Tuna Poke: with macadamia nuts, wakame, cucumber, sambal, avocado. $16. Fred brought out some flatbread crackers and delicious salted butter. so much for eschewing carbs tonight! Added a Farm Salad: greens, soft boiled egg, smoked baby tomatoes, radish, crispy shallot, creamy herb dressing. What a wonderful meal and experience. Love this place.

Yelp
Restaurant was stylish, modern, and clean. The service was excellent and our charcuterie appetizer was delicious. I think the grouper on risotto was more pleasant to eat, but both dishes were pretty good. This is a nice restaurant to take someone on a date because there is a indoor and outdoor seating facing the ocean! There is a large bar with several TVs and ample seating space. It would be a great place to have drinks and dinner and head to the beach and walk near the water to continue your date. Main entrees can range between $30-$40.

Yelp
TLDR: weird inappropriate comments by staff, week old fish and unseasoned food. Avoid. This place is garbage. Reserved outside seating, said it was full and we could only sit inside. The menu is 1/4 of their online menu so don't go with tour heart set on anything that's on the menu. Want to order a burger rare or medium rare, nope they only come well done as indicated by waiter. Zero seasoning on the steak. Also over cooked and the fish is not fresh at all. Just avoid this place. Can't believe this is what they consider a decent marriot restaurant. Came over from the ritz and it was really just tacky and gross. Weirdly inappropriate comments from the host.

Yelp
Best dinner in Fort Lauderdale for seafood lovers. Fresh and inventive, farm-to-table fresh, and very, very delicious. I think that FLL yelp ratings are inflated compared to what I am accustomed to, yet I easily rate 3030 5 stars even as I wish their service were better. Delicious dining. $55 for 3-course meal; $85 tasting menu. Great desserts. Fair, uninterested service. Setting is kinda meh because the floors are bare and it still looks like a hotel dining-room-off-the-lobby room. But it's clean! Oysters, a very, very delicious salad, and the best three shrimp I have eaten in oh forever in a spiced butter sauce, and a perfect piece of cobia in a dashi stock that I wanted to pick up the bowl and pour into my mouth. Dessert menu is terrific -- I love a restaurant that has a pastry chef or appears to from the selection. I had a perfect citrus tres leche cake with paired sorbet and a chocolate crisp with espresso. Perfect really. I recommend this highly if fresh and delicious is your thing. It rings all my bells foodwise. Boo hiss on the pay valet parking.
