Where To Have A Private Work Dinner In Dallas - Dallas - The Infatuation

"With a central location in Uptown, a dependable menu of meat and seafood, and multiple rooms that can accommodate 14 to 90 of your closest workplace acquaintances, Ocean Prime is about as foolproof as it gets. The club room is best for smaller groups, seating 14 and leaving plenty of space for chilled shellfish towers, fresh tuna rolls, and nicely seared wagyu filets. There’s a glass wine wall, so you’ll be close to the good stuff (order bottles as you go, or choose a red and white option beforehand and let the staff keep glasses filled). There’s also a TV for work presentations or Margaret’s farewell slideshow." - kevin gray

Best Seafood Restaurants in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Looking for a place for a fancy night out? Ocean Prime in Uptown has been that spot for well over a decade. This seafood chain is known for its lobster bisque, Chilean sea bass with truffle vinaigrette, black truffle macaroni and cheese, and bacon-flecked creamed spinach. Open for lunch and dinner, Ocean Prime goes outside the realm of a traditional seafood restaurant with select sushi dishes, chicken dishes, and steaks for a surf-and-turf moment. The dining room is outdated and full of corporate dining cliches, with dark woods, oversized overhead lamp shades, a mix of carpeted floors and tiled areas where the selections were clearly made more for space than aesthetics." - Courtney E. Just, wow! What a wonderful dining experience. Came for an early lunch and ate on the covered patio. Had the entire space to ourselves and enjoyed every bit of it. I absolutely loved the floor to ceiling windows, loads of natural light, soft music—everything you’d want in ‘fine dining.’ Parker was our server and he was a delight. Very attentive, accommodating and made excellent recommendations. Went with the Pre Fixe option —Atlantic Salmon, Crab Fried Rice paired with a Caesar Salad. Also tried the Chilean Seabss, and the warm bread basket. Everything was deliciously splendid—the Chef truly curated a symphony of flavors. The Sweet & Sour Cilantro Vinaigrette on the salmon was remarkable. Had the Warm Butter cake for dessert and it was divine. Will certainly be back. Looking forward to the Ten Layer Carrot Cake and Black Truffle Mac n Cheese.

Excellent experience! Took advantage of the North Texas Food Bank special menu. Ordered the 8 oz. Filet w/house salad, cup of lobster bisque, chili seared spinach, and a Gouda potato cake. Also upgraded to a 12 oz. New York strip (Oscar style) w/a chop chop salad, asparagus, Gouda potato cake, chili seared spinach, and we both had the spiced carrot cake. The waiter was the real deal! Love love love ocean prime Dallas!!!

Google
We absolutely loved our food and time here. Our group was impressed by how fresh all of the seafood was for being in TX! Only comments I will make that weren’t positive is one of the bartenders was rude and ignored us when we tried ordering. Also our server didn’t smile once over our couple hours there and never brought out the birthday cake or sang for our table’s birthday- but they did for another table. We still had a good time celebrating anyhow, just would have been nicer if staff was more kind and attentive. Great food!

Google
This place is a must try and steak and seafood lovers. Great atmosphere, food and service were top notch. We tried oysters, 14 oz ribeye, twin lobster tails, creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes. I encourage anyone to try this place out! You will not be disappointed.

Google
Celebrated our anniversary and it was great! Jeff, our waiter, was on his game! And the food was magnificent! The bill was $200. So, I would only go here on special occasions but it was worth it.

Google
Perfect cozy rainy day inside quiet for lunch. All the food was great. Waiter was a charm. Name was “hot rod” claims he’s talker, but really wasn't. He made us feel comfortable. The true hero was the water waiter. Always watching for an empty plate or glass. One complaint is they don't give vinegar with the oysters and toss radish on top of the cocktail sauce. If you eat oysters, this is all a no no.

Google
Visited this location while in town for business. The hostess was great, however I kept having to look for my server. He did recommend a dish that wasn’t on the menu. my date stated it was ok. I had the redfish. I had to send it back because of the sweet sauce that accompanies it. I don’t really care for sweet foods. The drinks were on point. I didn’t see the bartender. The restaurant was nicely decorated and I was able to get some nice photos.

I recently visited Ocean Prime for brunch with my family, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located in a vibrant area, the restaurant itself exudes elegance and charm, providing the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our visit was nothing short of perfect. Their genuine warmth and professionalism added a special touch to our dining experience. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including sushi, calamari, and cinnamon balls, all of which were absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was the French toast—it was simply the best I’ve ever had! The flavors were perfectly balanced, making every bite a delight. Ocean Prime has truly earned its 5 stars. The combination of superb food, excellent service, and a beautiful ambience makes it a must-visit destination for brunch. I can't wait to return!

Yelp
Sat in the bar area for a lunch and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I munched on truffled popcorn while perusing the lunch menu - followed by delicious bread. I settled on half a dozen east coast oysters and the lunch combo: Caesar salad, blackened Texas red fish and a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. The blackened redfish was exactly what I was craving and combined nicely with the corn emulsion that I was bedded in. Definitely a great power lunch when you're feeling a little spendy for lunch or you have the expense budget for a business trip.

Yelp
Came here on August 10, 2025. A friend had invited us for dinner. This was my first time to this restaurant. I had rather high expectations given the swank atmosphere of the place (and the prices on the menu). Well first the hostess who was a high school student looked totally confused, like we didn't have a reservation. She just stared into this iPad for like 5 minutes or so. Never looked up, never said anything, then just walked away. Several minutes later she came back, again no eye contact, no comments, nothing. So I waked up and asked her what the problem was. She said there was no problem (clearly there was). Eventually we were shown to a booth. Good enough. After all, this plaza is top notch, right? I was really surprised that there was basically no one eating there. I thought maybe they were overbooked given how long we had to wait for a table. Sadly, it went downhill from there. Our waiter, Nick, greeted up and my hopes soared once more. Our son was with us and one of our party mention there he was leaving for university the next day. Well, Nick had something to say about that and proceeded to give my son a lecture about how useless a university education is. After all, he had gone and look, a waiter! Finally he took our drink order. It's now 30 minutes since we had entered. *sheesh*! Eventually our drinks came and we had long since been ready to order. No Nick anywhere. After about 15 minutes I asked a busboy to get him. Another 5 to 10 minutes and Nick shows up. Takes our order. Disappears. Soon our drinks were empty, but no anyone to do anything about it. Around 8:45 our meals arrive, except one was incorrect. I'll save your the rest but you get the idea. Thankfully we had been invited by a friend because if I had to pay the tip would have been a big fat ZERO.

Yelp
We ended up going here to celebrate a friend's early birthday dinner. They offer valet parking out in the front. The host was friendly and welcoming when we walked in. It didn't take long to get our seats. It's dark and intimate. They did have the TV on by the bar, which was nice. Our server was nice. We got different things to eat, but I forgot to take pictures. But the drinks and the food were so delicious, especially the Brussels sprouts. Both the streak and the salmon were delicious

Yelp
The ambiance, location, service, and food are all a 10/10. The location is in the heart of Dallas/close to everything. They food is great and they have a good happy hour lounge menu to enjoy a decent price on certain items during select hours.
google avatar

Caroline Z.

Yelp
We have come here a few times for different dinner events in different private rooms and it always hits! The menu stays the same each time for our events but everything is so excellent I can't complain. The scallops and risotto are unbeatable. And the carrot cake is what dreams are made of. All the appetizers and salads are just superbly done. Excellent service too! They validate parking in the garage as well

Yelp
I love Ocean Prime, I've visited many locations and I know what to expect in regards to quality and service. While the quality of everything was up to par, this location fell short in service. I'm not sure if I just caught the wrong server or if I appeared to not be important enough to deserve the same attention other patrons were receiving. I was not offered popcorn, I had to ask while everyone around me was offered. I asked about specials I was told there were none, yet it was happy hour which I knew but thought it was odd to not mention. The folk 2 seats down from me were told about happy hour and what was included. I ordered the crab cake which is always top notch! I also had the gouda tots which I would not order again, they were just ok and not worth it. This location validates parking for the garage which I loved and service from everyone else was good. My drink was just ok too, made by the server who ignored me so it was nothing special. I sat in the lounge which is a nice vibe but could use a deep cleaning, the bar lamps were extremely dusty. I love that their happy hour is daily and when I visit Dallas again it's likely I'll come back with hopes of a better service experience.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the DFW area. I frequently stop in for their happy hour, which is daily from 4 to 6. They have great options. The bartenders are always super nice, and I love the unlimited truffle popcorn.

Yelp
I truly enjoyed coming to Ocean Prime, the service is great and the food is so tasty. This was the first time at this location, as I would visit the Orlando location often. We made it in time for happy hour and sat in the bar are. The server started us off with truffle popcorn...Yum! We ordered the sushi which was super fresh and the wedge salad for our starters. For the main we ordered the Ribeye cooked to perfection and we ordered 1/2 portion of the Mac and cheese, it was fantastic. To end off the night we ordered the peanut butter pie for dessert , OMG the fluffiness and the flavor was everything.

Yelp
Great HH cocktails and nosh. Service was good and the atmosphere was perfect to meet a friend and catch up on life.

Yelp
We had drinks and appetizers at the bar before a 7 PM show at American Airlines on Saturday. Victor knocked my date's drink all over him, charged him for it & then switched his credit card with another customer's. We were frazzled & in a hurry to make our show (which he had to sit through soaked & smelling like vodka), so we didn't realize we had the wrong card right away. I expected a better experience at a restaurant like this. Will not be back & cannot recommend.

Yelp
Server Dominque is thee best!! Ask for her!! She's so nice and knows the menu very well. The whole staff is great. They bust your table immediately. Drinks are great. I go there all the time. I sit in the bar area. I love that they give commentary truffle pop corn it's so delicious. I order something different every time and everything tastes great. Huge wine list. Parking is easy and they will validate it. 5/5

Yelp
This is a very elegant restaurant with a romantic vibe. We had reservations and we're seated immediately. All of the staff from the hostesses to our waiter were wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the Willow Bend Lamb Chops. The roasted garlic thyme jus was scrumptious. I asked for my lamb chops to be cooked medium and they were cooked perfectly. i got the lobster mac and cheese as my side. The lobster was plentiful. The mac and cheese was savory. When I return to Dallas, I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. I saw that the restaurant had beautifully decorated another couple's table. Not sure what they were celebrating but this would be a nice restaurant for a celebration.
google avatar

Gabriella S.

Yelp
Visited here for with a group of ladies for a bachelorette, we had a group of 12 and they could not accommodate us at one table or even two tables close together, which kind of killed the vibe the tables had to be about 6-8 feet apart. Waiter was very nice. Food was underwhelming for the price. We stood up to take pictures and my friends soup that she had not finished was picked up and cleaned away. More than likely will not be back. Risotto was undercooked. Dynamite roll although tasty was the same quality as an AYCE place. Lobster bisque was thick and creamy but lacked flavor.

Yelp
Dined here for dinner and have pros and cons.... Pros- ambiance is exquisite. The staff is attentive. They provide free glasses of champagne and/or moscato if you are celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.) The dining room is dim and intimate and the background music is not too loud; you can talk privately with your party without being distracted by other patrons. The drinks were amazing!!! Lots of fun concoctions to choose from at the bar. Cons - food was just okay. The steak was under seasoned and in need of salt; but there are no salt/pepper shakers on the tables. Also my risotto was not fully cooked and was crunchy. If I'm paying $220+ dollars for a meal, I expect the food to be cooked to perfection. Also... the roasted brussel sprouts were terrible!!! All you taste is the burned charred flavor and they are so over cooked that I wanted to spit them out.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
Great classy yet relaxing ambiance. Our waiter bryan was incredible and super knowledgeable on the menu. We had the lobster bisque, crab cake, scallop entree, filet entree, garlic mashed potato side, Brussel sprout side, and creme brûlée for dessert. The only critique I could find is the risotto on the scallop entree was slightly underdone. Other than that, 10/10 will be back

Yelp
We went on a Monday during prime lunch hours. Five star valet service from Dwight Waited at the hostess stand, looking around, saw a few wait staff in the distance and they kept on with their routine. After at least 5 minutes, we walked into the lounge and asked if we could seat ourselves or if there was a hostess who could help us. April from the lounge was extremely helpful and willing to sit us anywhere we wanted to sit. Since we knew we could get service in the lounge, we sat there and did have 5 star service from both April and Travis who were sharing the room. We started with two jumbo crab cakes to share as an appetizer ($27/ea). They were good but not as amazing as they have the reputation for, at least not at this lunch, and certainly not for the price point. I ordered the SEA SCALLOPS which was 3 scallops over Parmesan Risotto, English Peas, Citrus Vinaigrette ($27) - 8/10 My Dad ordered a cup of the lobster bisque which he enjoyed along with the BLACKENED TEXAS RED FISH that's served over Corn Spoon Bread, Swiss Chard, Corn Emulsion ($24) My Mom enjoyed her massive SHELLFISH "COBB" SALAD with Shrimp, Lobster, Bacon, Egg, Blue Cheese, Avocado ($29) They also bring complimentary bread to the table. We enjoyed the pretzel rolls and baguette. The restaurant is gorgeous. There is the lounge, main dining, several private dining areas, terrace, & outside seasonal lounge area.

Yelp
I am a sea food type of girl! Ocean prime exceeded my expectations with flavors and of course service. First, I want to start off by saying from drinks to desserts made to order everything was extremely fresh! I ordered the warmed king crab omg so darn delicious! Everything from the presentation to the taste! Well seasoned and perfect temperature amazing dish! Now, the lobster Mac and cheese; I've always had this dish with lobster tail cut up and cooked throughout but they used claw meat! My god my god my god chefs kiss literally some of the best seafood MAC I've had! Ambiance was dem lit perfect for date night etc. Drink was amazing, I mean there's really nothing outside of the valet that didn't exceed my expectations. Valet needs a little work

Yelp
Celebrated our anniversary and was treated extremely well. Our waiter was Jeff and he was great! The food was awesome! And the environment was on point!!

The calamari was amazing! So hungry and delicious, I scarfed it down before I realized I didn't even take a picture! Silly me!

Yelp
Black Orchid is my favorite drink in Dallas. We come for the crab legs too. Service is great! Romantic Ambience. Can't find anything wrong with this place!

Yelp
We came here on 1.05.23 - a very busy Friday night. While waiting for our table, we sat at the bar and enjoyed some very delicious cocktails. The bartenders were hustling yet remained personable and professional. When we got to our table we were greeted by Francisco, who then proceeded to take great care of us for the evening. We started with the Prime Roll - excellent sushi and as tasty as anything you get at a sushi restaurant. My lady followed up with the Lobster Bisque and I had the Caesar Salad. Both were amazingly tasty and very ample portions. The Bisque is delivered with a bit of a presentation, which was a nice touch. For our mains I had the Lobster Linguine and my lady had the Redfish. My linguine was beyond next-level - it was elevated way above that. There was no skimping on either lobster or pasta, and it fills you up quickly. My lady loved her dinner, as well. We couldn't eat another bite until Francisco got us with his mention of a Peanut Butter Pie. Oh, hell yes. This pie was so decadent and delicious. I wasn't even hungry but did some serious damage to it. The flavor was beyond compare. My favorite thing I ate? The pasta. For my lady it was the Bisque. That was the toughest decision of the evening, thankfully.

Yelp
quite the amazing experience the appetizers were the star of the show - crab cakes were great - ravioli was my favorite dish - calamari was good as well, but overshadowed by the others -ordered the 8oz filet mignon and it was slightly overcooked but still quite flavorful -carrot cake dessert was phenomenal stellar service, BEAUTIFUL ambiance inside great date night spot
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere. It's expensive, but you knew that already. Service could have been slightly more attentive - restaurant wasn't busy so for the price point, drinks should never get below half full. Either way, the seafood was great. Try the ahi. The sides were good portions and we enjoyed the truffle fries as well as the brussels. The steak was actually the most disappointing. It was good, just not $60 good. A good meal, I didn't leave feeling like we overpaid, but would opt to try out other high end steak/seafood restaurants before returning.

Yelp
I do recommend making a reservation atleast 2 weeks in advance for good timing. As soon as we got there, they checked us in and sat us at our table. Within minutes, our waiter brought us water, gave us time to look over the drinks menu, and came back with a basket of bread. Talk about service!! We ordered a bunch of items to share between the 6 of us. Our waiter recommended options, and can confidently say he knew what he was talking about. Starters: Calamari - too sweet for our tasting but was crisp to perfection. Oysters in half shell - perfect and they gave us tobasco bottles for seasonings. Cocktail shrimp was perfect with the spicy sauce! Entrees: Sea Bass - perfectly flakey! The citrus cause and mash complemented it so well. Ribeye (not pictured) - nneat was cooked to perfection for medium and had the correct amount of seasoning on it. Lobster linguine - usually I don't get pasta at a restaurant like this but man it was so creamy. Only lacked some spice and extra cheese to my tasting. Sides: jalapeño au gratin - some of us tasted the spice but some of us didn't; however, it was delicious nonetheless. Brussel sprouts - exactly how'd you think it'll taste. Truffle Mac & Cheese - too cheesy and too truffley to my liking. The sides and ribeye are huge portions and can be shared between 2 people. Desserts: Creme brûlée - our fav!!! Perfectly custardy and not too sweet. Butter cake - it wasn't as moist as expected but the raspberry sauce and ice cream complemented it well. 1000% worth it checking ocean prime out. Parking - they will validate your parking if you park at the rosewood parking garage. It connects to Flower child, ocean prime, white rock coffee, and Tipsy Alchemist. They also do have valet. Ambiance - restaurant wasn't too loud. We had 6 people on a round table and we were able to hear each other. They do have multiple private rooms, and a bar seating area.

Yelp
3.5 Stars Food: Had the crab cakes, calamari, ribeye, a couple of sides, and a couple of drinks. All food was satisfactory. Steak was good but I've had better. Crab cakes were excellent. Drinks were pretty good. Dessert was meh. While the food was tasted well for a fine dining establishment, for the price, you would expect out of this world. After Father's Day brunch/dinner, I felt for the price I paid, I have experienced better at other establishments. Service: Waiters and waitresses are very posh and impassive. Other staff at fine dining establishments tend to show a bit more character but seems like the staff was some robots. While I get that may be the vibe they're targeting, it does seem a bit impersonal. Some folks may like that but I've had more personable experiences elsewhere. Not a knock to service, they're attentive. Ambiance: The atmosphere is dim and well decorated. You do feel like this is truly a fine dining establishment, especially with the fancy cars and valet being next door. While this written review doesn't seem indicative of the star rating, it's only because there are just better fine dining establishments. The shocker being pricing as well. I spent nearly $500 for 3 people on a Sunday afternoon where at other fine dining establishments, I could've fed around 5 people very well. The quality is there and it's not a knock on the restaurant, but fine dining can be competitive and there's nothing here that makes this place stand out to the others.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service in an awesome location in Crescent Court. The Lobster Bisque was a standout in the appetizer selection. You can't go wrong with their delicious Filet Mignon, cooked perfectly medium rare. Not that you'll have room, but make room for the decadent peanut butter pie. Just wow.

Yelp
High end restaurant that actually met expectations. I came here on a Monday night for a business dinner. Valet parking was easy to use and the rate was $5 up to three hrs, and $15 for three hrs or more. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and exactly what you expect of a high end establishment. For our appetizers we had the seafood tower and calamari. The seafood tower was underwhelming, especially the very small oysters used. The calamari on the other hand was delicious and it had a Thai flavor that accentuated the dish. I started my meal with the lobster bisque and the soup was outstanding. I wish the lobster pieces were a little bigger, but overall the soup was top three all time for me. They do pour the soup over the lobster table side, which is a nice touch. For my entree I had the New York strip with a blue cheese crust. The steak was perfectly cooked, but the crust was a bit overdone. I would have preferred a cheesier texture over the crunchier option they use here. We tried numerous sides throughout the meal and the spinach was the star. The brussel sprouts were pretty bland and the asparagus was thin compared to other high end restaurants. Service overall was good and the staff were very attentive. The bar drinks were inconsistent with heavy pours one round and light pours the others. Overall this is a restaurant I would recommend if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion. The opportunities I witnessed are outweighed by the great ambiance and good food.

Yelp
so just to start off, it's my fiancés and I 7th year anniversary and they maid us feel like the only table in the restaurant the whole time!... Jeff was our server and he was amazing, through each step of our evening!.... we had questions, he had easy answers, we wanted specifics, he made it happen! We typically go to Capital Grille but I think our server Jeff just changed us over to Ocean Prime members! The best service and experience I've had period!

Yelp
Visited one evening after work to decompress before heading home. The location is very convenient and upscale. Service was amazing. I sat at the bar, in the bar area, and the two bartenders were the best. I hate that I can't remember their names, unfortunately but they were an absolute joy! They were attentive, personalable and hilarious. They really helped brighten my evening before heading home. I had a signature cocktail, Berries and Bubbles. Strong, delicious and refreshing! I will definitely try other cocktails when I visit again. I enjoyed the popcorn. It was a nice complimentary touch. During my next visit, I will definitely try the popcorn with a nice glass of wine. To munch on, I enjoyed the Crab cake. It is definitely sharable in my opinion. I can't wait to return to explore other items on the menu.

Yelp
Great service, great food and great decor. I recently dined at Ocean Prime for the second time. Both times the food was prepared great. I've had a great ribeye the first time and this most recent instance I had the halibut. The halibut was a little undercooked but otherwise good. For appetizers, I really like their calamari. And they have great sides including creamed corn and mushrooms. There is a great wine list at this restaurant also.

Yelp
First time eating here and would definitely go back. Prices are competitive with other seafood/steakhouses and service was polite and patient and food was really good. Music was also great. Stayed out a little kitschy and then moved into Frank Sinatra as the night quieted down. We wanted crab legs, and I will say, I was kind of "fibbed" to beforehand because I called to ask about market price for crab legs and the lady said 1/2 lbs was $55, but it was actually $68. However, that is on their "on ice" menu but they were able to do those steamed and they also cut them so they're easy to eat. We also ordered a filet. Well cooked and well seasoned with a nice little char on the outside. Honestly though, our favorite was the bacon creamed spinach. Oh my gosh, absolutely yes order that! They did a free dessert for my birthday. We ordered the butter cake. It was dense, but very good combined with the berry compote and vanilla ice cream. Our server, Francisco, was so polite and patient. Really enjoyed him. All in all, recommend.

Yelp
An elegant, low lit restaurant across the street from the beautiful Crescent Hotel. The food was delicious & cooked as ordered. The service was impeccable. When in town, I'll definitely visit again.

Yelp
Went here for my husbands birthday! We love going to new places each celebration. The waitress was fine and the food was ok. The calamari was fantastic. Ask for a wine recommendation that isn't their speciality neither the waitress or the wine expert as she called could really explain a good wine to try the then this is orders the most. Great getting a birthday dessert. With only having a couple parties in the whole restaurant service seemed really slow. 2 big NEGATIVES my husband caught and killed 2 fruit flies during dinner: That is very off putting. It was pretty cold in the restaurant, understand it's cold but to see space heater to try to warm was interesting. I am not sure if I would recommend someone going here for a special occasion maybe a quick drink. Most high end restaurants would have a manager check in to see how the meal was nothing. The waitress told us how they are known for their cocktails.

Yelp
My wife and I were so excited to visit this restaurant during our visit to Dallas. It did not disappoint. My wife and I love fine dining and entered with very high expectations. The lamb chops succeeded them all. The texture, flavor, and everything else about them were perfect. The crab cakes didn't disappoint either. The trendy, romantic atmosphere made for a great date night. The service was excellent as well, our server Derrick was amazing.

The black orchid drink is my wife's favorite drink in Dallas. The food is great and the service is always good.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my Dad's birthday last week and it was a really good choice. From the valet to the hostess to our server the service was truly amazing. We walked into a dimmly lit restaurant that felt relaxing and welcoming. Our waiter came over a few minutes after we sat down which gave us a little time to look over the menus and at least order a drink. I am a firm believer of giving me a few minutes before coming to ask if I need anything because of course I do not know what I want as soon as I sit down. We all ordered from the restaurant week menu. The steak and salmon were very good, but the seabass was a bit dry. My friend told the waiter, and he swapped it for the salmon instead which she really enjoyed. My steak was cooked well, but it cook have been cooked bit less for my liking. The sorbet was amazing. I am glad I ordered the Spanish gin and tonic becasue it was a better grade of gin.

Yelp
We had a great dinner at Ocean Prime, the food and ambience was ah-mazing...absolutely! I decided to have two appetizers as my meal - crab cake and the Surf 'n Turf. The crab cake is definitely one of the best in Dallas...to me! The Surf 'n Turf included scallops and braised short ribs, the scallops were cooked to perfection, sweet and delicious, and the short rib was equally flavorful and literally melted in your mouth. My friend had the red fish and ordered the jalapeno au gratin so I could taste - best potatoes ever! Leah was our server and she made the evening even more pleasant with her personality and knowledge of the preparation of food. Next time you go, ask for Leah - she's the best!!! P.S. Do not pass on the creme brulee!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening for an early Mother's Day dinner with my mom. Upon arriving, we used the valet ($5 + tips) and waited a few minutes for our table. My only complaint about the table we were sat at was the aisle seat. It's a lot of traffic going back and forth which was a little frustrating and slightly uncomfortable. The customer service was good although we did have to remind our waiter a couple of times for items. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll as a starter and it was delicious and had a nice kick to it! For our entree's we both decided to get the Colorado Lamb and I ordered it cooked medium. We added Whipped Potatoes and Sautéed Mushrooms. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the meal was tasty! There was enough for leftovers if you're not a big eater in one setting. We opted not to get desert but we did have the Mia Dolcea wine as a drink option. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience despite a few hiccups! I will definitely come back to try other food items offered here.

Yelp
Food: warning, everything is Al La cart. Let me start with the positive. The Parmesan Truffle Fries were super good! Big, crispy, and flavorful. I was also a big fan of the calamari, the sweet chili sauce was a perfect touch and really made the calamari stand out. Now... the rest of the items were mediocre. I was disappointed in the $25 dynamite roll which was super tiny and tasted just okay. The steak was cooked perfectly and my friend really enjoyed it. Drinks: I am a big cocktail girl, so you know we had to try some items. The drinks were cool, but def not giving you a nice buzz however they were tasty! Service: Our waiter was ok. He definitely takes his job seriously, but with a creepy vibe. He came over and was telling us the specials and I begin reading the menu as he was talking to the table and he stopped then just stood there and said "I am waiting on you". Made me feel super awkward. Environment: This is where I think the price tag comes from because it's not the food. Such a pretty venue and a lot of seating. They were on time for reservations and we didn't have to wait! Overall, I won't be rushing to go back. I expected tastier food or something to brag about for the price tag.

Yelp
What a great meal on one of the busiest days. Great and amazing cocktails, we had the black orchid, berry and bubble, and an expresso martini. I had the sea bass and it was amazing. Maybe not 57$ amazing but still very good. They wife had scallops and they were perfect. The risotto was a star.

Yelp
Everything about this place is amazing. Food was incredible. I got the Chilean Sea Bass which comes with Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Purée, & Truffle Vinaigrette. I would 100% order it again. The Teriyaki Salmon was also ordered at our table, and it looked delicious. The Berries & Bubbles was such a fun drink to order! It literally bubbled the entire time. The service was great. We ordered the Ocean Roll and they brought us the Prime Roll, but they noticed the mistake before we did and brought us out another sushi roll free of charge. Another note - We had the quickest vallet service ever! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Servers were amazing, the restaurant was gorgeous, but my food was terrible. We ordered many things and every item had its own problem. Very under-seasoned, undercooked and just plain. We sent the steak back and it was still raw, as you can see in the picture.

Yelp
Not great but certainly not bad. I feel as though there are better steakhouses in Dallas to go to for this price. But I will say, service and quality were excellent. Maybe I should have tried the fish? Maybe next time, I'll be back!

Yelp
Perfection. The absolute BEST seabass in Dallas. Great, friendly, accommodating and attentive service. They listen to every request and take the time to cater to your specific needs without any hesitation. The lobster mac is quite impressive and they are very generous in their servings. It looked like they put a whole lobster in it! We would give it another "BEST" award indeed. Most places don't deliver in every category, but at Ocean Prime, they live up to their high standards and fine reputation. The food is excellent and the service is great, plus the venue is large yet cozy and can cater to an intimate date to very large groups of guests. It's a perfect place for a date night or any type of celebration as you are guaranteed a wonderful experience. They may be expensive but they are definitely worth it.

Yelp
We went here during the restaurant week special, but all of the items we got are things that are regularly on the menu. Upon walking in, I immediately loved how swanky yet still cozy the interior was. This was an early anniversary celebration for us, so the host stand gave us a complimentary glass of champagne which I thought was sweet. I started with the Spanish gin & tonic. It wasn't the best gin and tonic I've had (it tasted a bit watered down). Everything from then was so good though. My first course was the lobster bisque. Absolutely delicious - so creamy and it actually had sizable chunks of lobster in it. For my entree I chose the Chilean sea bass. It was SO tender and cut like butter. I was so sad when it was all gone haha. And then dessert was carrot cake. It was a sizable piece that would be easily splittable. Overall I had a lovely time at Ocean Prime and would highly recommend checking them out for a nice night out.

Yelp
I want to start by saying my server Michael was wonderful. Thank you Michael ! *****REVIEW***** Berries and bubbles cocktail This cocktail had a wonderful mouth feel, the smell of this cocktail hinted at a wonderful boozy taste and it did not disappoint! I truly loved the taste of black berries and lemon. The flavors intrinsically meld together and the presentation was wonderful. The dry ice created a mysterious air about the drink, it looked like the bottom of a red lake. Very delish and light flavor. I tasted hints of blueberries as well. White truffle Caviar Devilled eggs The presentation was beautiful. That's the first thing i look at when i order. While they originally looked like devilled eggs with caviar and truffle, the actual taste made me pause and savor. I love deviled eggs and have had many different kinds. This one definitely screamed fine dining. It was smooth and chilled, light and airy but also packed some weight in the flavor. The truffle really accentuated the innards of the egg. 9/10 i really liked this appetizer but i only ate two of them because the truffle flavor was really strong. 10 OZ steak with Garlic mash and roasted Brussel sprouts Mash: perfect consistency, garlic was perfect amount, heavy/full mash per bite, flavor punch, packed into each small bite, topped with what tastes like baked or roasted Parmesan ! VERY GOOD PMFG, perfectly seasoned, i have zero bad things to say about this !! 12/10 Brussel: sweet yet still keeps that Brussel sprout twang. Onions possibly added, fell apart in mouth but kept its shape very well in bowl. A bit saltier than i would like but not horrible. 8/10 10 oz Filet Mignon: perfect crust on the outside, creamy/delicate inside, i got medium , wasn't as much pink as i expected, too much salt, flavor overpowers the natural flavor of steak, had a bit of kick to it, was tougher than expected for medium steak.I was a bit disappointed by the steak, i expected a more natural flavor with lighter seasoning that emphasized the steak. This reminds me of a Brazilian style steak in heat and flavor. I wish they were more light handed on the seasoning. After eating towards the middle, the steak became more red, the knife sliced through it like butter. Way better and the saltiness kind of cut but not by much.
