Had a very nice meal, very attentive service, comfortable atmosphere. Menu has good variety, some nice appetizers, you can easily order off menu for cocktails. Our entrees were very well cooked, and not over seasoned nor over salted, portions were generous for this type of restaurant. Nothing will blow you away with unique ingredients, preparation, or presentation, so I wouldn't say the food is "exciting", but everything was solid and flavorful. Service was top notch, not overly in your face, but always there when you needed them.

We had an EXCELLENT time here primarily due to the service we received from Elliott and his support staff. He was engaging, sold us on the delicious food and highlighted locally sourced dishes like the lamb. 5-Star service and food. Come by and try it out. You’ll be happy you did.

Google
This is a very special restaurant. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Denver, both food quality and fanciness wise. I got the blue cheese crusted 8 oz filet and it was easily one of the best steaks, if not the best, I’ve ever had. My girlfriend got the Chilean sea bass and absolutely loved it. We also split the miso-chili broccoli (excellent) and got complimentary truffle popcorn when we sat down. The server was very attentive to my girlfriend and I, and helped celebrate her special birthday well. We got the peanut butter pie for dessert. Everything was amazing! We will absolutely be back. Thank you, OP, for helping us celebrate in a special way!

Google
Very swanky steakhouse. The food was delicious and the staff was great. The complimentary bread before the meal is incredible. I also had the French onion soup, wedge salad, potatoes Au Gratin, and the New York Strip with Béarnaise sauce. Everything was great and I was stuffed by the end of the meal. Great place if you want a fancy dinner to celebrate a special occasion or celebration.

Google
Oysters were amazing, cocktails are prepared table-side, service was delayed a bit which was nice since I mentioned I was on a first date. Definitely a charming and quiet date night spot, so long as you avoid the busy dinner rush! Will be coming back to try the lounge menu :)

Google
Sushi was amazing! Calamari was amazing! Scallops were perfect lobster was honestly a little underwhelming. Wife’s fish was great! Service was top notch. Celebrating my whole families birthdays. I always wondered if leaving a not on what the occasion was did something and the entire visit they celebrated with us! The ending cheese cake and chocolate cake were amazing as well. Great night out!

To preface my review, I had just flown into Denver and the meals I had for the next multiple days were similarly underwhelming for me, so there is a chance my taste buds had not acclimated to the altitude. However, I do feel like enough was off on this pricey meal to think that altitude adjustment was not the only issue. Service was good, my flight was delayed so we did have to rush a bit, but the waiter was on top of it and got us out just fine. The bread was good, and my drink was fun. Honestly, it was a bit hard to drink, as the fizz lasted for like 30 minutes, and I had no desire to get berry stains everywhere, but it was tasty. The flavor of the appetizer of scallops and braised beef was pretty good, though the scallop was a little overcooked (slightly too chewy). My dad didn’t love that the same red wine sauce came on the scallop as the beef, but that’s his preference, I didn’t mind too much. It was also very small, so having the scallop less than perfect was a bit of a bummer. The steak was the most disappointing part, for me, because it came out overcooked. I didn’t have time to send it back, though, so I ate it and didn’t make a big deal out of it. The Brussels sprouts were also very plain. I love Brussels, but I wouldn’t order those again. The butter cake was fine, not *quite* as good as I remember, but still enjoyable, so I’m willing to blame that on altitude adjustment. One of our favorite meals of all time was at Ocean Prime in Boston, to the point where we changed our trip to go back a second time within the week. So this was quite disappointing.

Yelp
Beautiful room, fun and Interesting cocktails and delicious and well prepared food. We attended a work event and we were well taken care of and all enjoyed our meals. I shared the scallops and a filet with a dinner mate, and we both got desserts. The carrot cake! This is a next level experience which is probably not as budget friendly, but entirely worth it. Splurge.

Yelp
This upscale fish/steakhouse doesn't disappoint! Inside, you will find a modern, warm feel, with a spacious dining room upstairs and down. We were seated upstairs, overlooking Larimer Street. We recently visited for my wife's birthday before heading to the Denver Performing Arts complex for Hamilton. Our waiter Danny was very in tune with our time constraints and started off our visit discussing these details. We started with some delicious cocktails. My wife had the Black Orchid, and I had one of their signature Old Fashioneds. Both were excellent. For an appetizer, we had the "SURF N TURF," which consisted of two scallops, a braised short rib, and a potato puree. This was perfect. The scallops were perfectly prepared and melted in your mouth, and the short rib was rich and just as tender. Our entrees were also excellent. My wife had the Florida Grouper with lobster, gnocchi, and spring peas in lemon jus. The fish was again cooked to perfection, and the jus was rich and flavorful. It was a delightful dish all around. I had the Blackened Snapper with corn spoon bread, Swiss chard, and corn emulsion. This was every bit as good as a dish you would find in a high-end fish house in the South. Danny made some fantastic wine recommendations that complemented the meals nicely and were precisely what we desired. To finish the meal, they bought my wife's dessert, the Mile High Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing and pineapple syrup. This cake was 10" tall and had about two dozen layers. Rich and moist, it was just the perfect way to end a great meal.

Yelp
Service is amazing and very tentative. Beautiful warm romantic atmosphere. Drinks were delicious and strong. Will always be craving this sushi! The surf and turf was just the right amount of rich with soft fresh scallops and tender beef. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were melting in our mouths. We also had the lobster macaroni and it was a large helping that is easy to share, but you won't want to! This was a birthday dinner for myself from my husband and I absolutely loved it!

Yelp
Very fancy corner location and great for special occasions. The seafood was very fresh and I loved the super sour sourdough bread basket. The staff was extremely attentive. The dining rooms were dimly lit and very chic. I highly recommend this fine dining experience for a special date or occasion or business dinner.

Yelp
Grace helped me get a last minute reservation, and was very sweet, and very professional. Danny was our server. He was an absolute gem. Nicolette was at the host stand as we left, and very much tied the bow on our experience, so to speak. It was my fiancé's birthday, and I couldn't be happier with our night. Also, I hope whoever makes the crème brûlée has an incredible sex life.

Yelp
Been here a few times, service and vibes are always great. Wanted to rate some of the food we ordered that were new items for us! Bone in Ribeye - 7/10, it was good but to be honest it didn't compare to the one we make at home Bernaise sauce - 1/10, some flavor in this just was not right. All of us tried it and not fans at all Peppercorn sauce - 3/10, too sweet Truffle butter - 8/10, what you'd expect...I'd like a little salt but honestly pretty good Scallops - 10/10 WOW absolutely phenomenal and the risotto had me drooling Tuna tartare - 10/10 so so so freakin delicious. Perfect balance of flavors and textures, obsessed Chocolate cake - 3/10 way too rich more than one bite hurts Carrot cake - 9/10 very very good, my only critique is that cream cheese frosting would take this to a 10/10 but still great Asparagus - 0/10 no flavor and the pieces are very thick and taste like nothing... the the hollandaise we'd give a 8/10 it was yummy

Yelp
When rating a high-end establishment like Ocean Prime it's a challenge because you must consider all aspects of the business. Food quality, service, atmosphere and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my daughter's 30th birthday celebration went from awesome to average in very short order. Our waitress was an excellent, seasoned employee who knows a quite a lot about the restaurant but was soon overwhelmed when she went from one to three tables quickly. I observed quietly as our party of five talked and enjoyed the evening. The table next to us had a different waitress who seemed to give her one table awesome attention. We arrived at 5pm and were seated in the corner as they filled tables around us. The drinks were excellent, and the calamari appetizer was very good. She took our order and then the party was over. Our waitress was now busy getting the other tables orders. After watching the four surrounding tables being served their meals, I started to scratch my head that something was amiss. I had to stand up briefly to grab her attention and she immediately knew what I was about to say. She said, "I know sir, checking on your order now". After that our plates started to arrive. She sat every dish to the wrong person, so we switched them around until everyone was eating. My steak, Oscar style came out lukewarm, like it had been sitting for a few in the back. I asked my wife and others who said theirs were good. Bottom line is I did grab one of the Managers who said he would take care of it, discounted the tab, but since I wasn't the paying party I'm not sure what it was he took care of. Needless to say, we had a very long two-hour dinner, but not by choice. All the other parties who arrived after us had left. I do like it here and pretty sure this was a one-off mis hap. I am going to stop writing now, but left a tad frustrated. Ocean Prime is a fine establishment, who I would say yes to if asked. My apologies, as this experience I did have to get off my chest.

Yelp
Wow. This place is stunning. The building, the decor, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers, the whole staff. Everyone and everything, stunning. I don't eat at a lot of restaurants because I've learned how to cook and sometimes home cooked meals are 10x better than food at restaurants. But Ocean Prime really outdoes itself in every way imaginable. There wasn't a single thing I ate that I didn't like. And the moscato is as smooth as the butter they put in their food. I think about it quite often actually. It's tempting to just buy a bottle. I could go into detail about the flavour and everything but I don't want to. I'd rather you just experience it for yourself. Eating at Ocean Prime is a flavour experience. Thanks you for my congratulations carrot cake, thank you for caring, and I'll always cherish such a fond memory.

Yelp
4.5 stars. I love a good steakhouse, and Ocean Prime is a prime spot in Denver. I've been wanting to come here for awhile, so a group of us went for Restaurant Week. Staff was overworked, and I'm going to chalk it up to exhaustion and not sketchiness that they gave us false information about the Restaurant Week menu and charged us for sparkling water we didn't order. The food itself was incredible. I had the Lobster Bisque, 6 oz Filet, Sea Scallops, and of course the Carrot Cake. Everything was delicious, paired perfectly with a Dirty Martini. It's normally quite pricey, as expected for this location, but I would love to be taken here again for a fancy date night. Kinda hilarious we were seated in the conference room, complete with TV.

Yelp
Ocean Prime serves my very favorite cocktail the Black Orchid. To die for! We started with the Wedge and lobster bisque. My husband and I are always in search of the best wedge and we found it at Ocean Prime. We moved onto 10oz filets, sautéed mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. Everything was excellent. The ambiance is chill and let me not forget all our servers- perfect! We are visiting from Houston and come out to Denver every year- Ocean Prime is always on our itinerary!

Yelp
Located downtown on the corner of Denver's historic Larimer Square, Ocean Prime is one of my favorite spots to celebrate & indulge. From their newly renovated dining rooms to their lounge, & seasonal outdoor terrace, this is a prime spot to socialize. There are Ocean Prime locations in downtown Denver & in the Denver Tech Center. We were seated upstairs overlooking Larimer Square which was all lit up along with the city (such a vibe). The staff of Ocean Prime was exceptional as always - GM, Travis and server, Royce were polished and so likeable. We wanted for nothing during our meal & let them run the show, they knew the menu inside out and out. The aesthetics of the space along with the staff set the tone for an incredible meal. We started with a round of Black Orchids made with Belvedere Organic Blackberry & Lemongrass Infusion, St. Germain, Fresh Lemon & White Cranberry Juice. This is my favorite cocktail at Ocean Prime. The Black Orchid came in a martini glass with an ice orb that held an orchid flower inside. The cocktail had aromas & flavors of blackberry & lemon that burst onto the palate with a lovely juicy sweetness - refreshing and so easy to drink. The Smoked Old Fashioned was made with Angel's Envy Rye Whiskey, House Demerara Syrup, Angostura & Orange Bitters, & Charred Cherry Wood Smoke. I really enjoyed this Old Fashioned; it was served from a decanter and poured into an etched highball glass. In that glass was a pristine 2x2 Ocean Prime ice cube. The cherry wood smoke sexily combined with the whiskey when poured. The cocktail was smooth with notes of dark caramel, maple syrup and a fading smokiness. The Berries & Bubbles was made with Belvedere Organic Lemon & Basil Vodka, Marinated Blackberries, Fresh Lemon Juice, Piper Sonoma Brut, & Dry Ice Smoke. This cocktail is always a crowd pleaser with the dry ice smoke bubbles and fruit forward taste. The Hot & Dirty Martini was made with Olive Oil Infused Belvedere Vodka, Calabrian Chili Blue Cheese Stuffed Castelvetrano Olives. The martini was shaken vigorously with ice, strained into a prism coup and garnished with stuffed olives. For food we started off with Ocean Prime's complementary bread - the pretzel bread was my favorite. The Smoking Shellfish Tower was made with oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, and chilled crab meat cocktail. The tower was showstopping. The generous pieces of chilled crab dipped in the Crab-Louie sauce was my favorite. The Point Judith Calamari was served with sweet chili sauce. The fresh calamari rings were lightly breaded and fried golden. The sweet chili sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The Chef's Feature Sushi Roll was made with Sea Bass Tempura. The crunch and sweetness of the roll made for great flavor & texture. The Hamachi Crudo was served with Pickled Mango, Sweet Peppers, Cilantro, Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette. Gorgeous sushi dish and so fresh. The Chilean Sea Bass was served with Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Puree, & Truffle Vinaigrette. The Chilean Sea Bass is Ocean Prime's most popular entree and if you've never had it, you must. The Chilean Sea Bass had a mild, delicate flavor & the light fish melted in our mouths. The truffle vinaigrette was luscious. The 16oz Ribeye was cooked perfectly. It was well-marbled (but lean trimmed) & robust in rich beef flavor. We had to try one of the Seafood Season Specials (available February 20th & onwards). The King Salmon was pan seared & served over Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, Buttered Leeks, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Haricot Verts. This dish was finished with a Pinot Noir Butter and Castelvetrano Olive Tapenade For sides we had the Jalapeno Au Gratin, Asparagus & Hollandaise, and the Smoked Gouda Tater Tots. The tots were crisp potato pillows of cheesy goodness. The interior was hot & fluffy with potato and creamy cheese. For Dessert we had the Warm Butter Cake served with Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream, Raspberry Sauce and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie made with Peanut Butter Mousse & Bittersweet Chocolate Ganache. The Warm Butter Cake is one of my top 3 favorite desserts in Denver. The cake was piping hot with vanilla ice cream melting atop. The sugar exterior was lightly crisped with a densely moist interior making for gooey & buttery bites. The bright fresh fruit complimented the rich cake perfectly. A must order! To end this phenomenal meal - we toasted with champagne.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Prime, and it was nothing short of a memorable culinary journey. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a beautiful ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. We had the foresight to make reservations in the bar lounge area, and it was the perfect choice for a romantic night out. The dimly lit setting, accentuated by the soothing blue ambient lighting, created an intimate atmosphere that was simply enchanting. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised to find our booth adorned with birthday arrangements before our arrival--a thoughtful touch that added an extra layer of warmth to our experience. As we settled in, we indulged in the Tequila Cocktails, which were both delicious and generously poured. After just one sip, I felt invigorated and ready to fully immerse myself in the culinary delights that awaited us. For appetizers, we opted for the Jumbo Crab Cake and Caviar Deviled Eggs, and they did not disappoint. The portion sizes were generous, and each bite was a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more. It was the perfect start to our gastronomic adventure. For the main course, I savored the Scallops and Risotto, and it was a match made in culinary heaven. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the risotto was creamy and flavorful--a true delight for the taste buds. My date opted for the Lobster Linguini, and it was equally impressive. The lobster was succulent, and the linguini was perfectly cooked, resulting in a dish that was nothing short of perfection. In conclusion, Ocean Prime offers not just a meal, but a luxurious dining experience that tantalizes the senses and leaves a lasting impression. From the beautiful ambiance to the delectable cuisine, every aspect of our evening was impeccable. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night out, Ocean Prime is sure to exceed your expectations.

Yelp
I ordered scallops and lobster bisque. Both were very good. I would say skip the scallops as they weren't anything special. Cooked perfectly but lacking in flavor. However their steak was to die for. Maybe one of the best and most unique flavored steaks ever. Choose french onion soup over the lobster bisque. Really enjoyed the king crab legs and the mocktail was also fabulous. We had a private room. I will say the service was European timed...so took forever and almost painful to get each next course ordered.

Yelp
Everything about this dinner was amazing. The restaurant is very nice, and our servers were great. We started with drinks and apps, both were delicious. I ordered the sea bass for dinner and it was so fresh, buttery, flakey and delicious. I was visiting the Denver area but learned there is an ocean prime near where I live in Michigan so I will most definitely be visiting again!

Yelp
Delightful and delicious Great food with great service. Enjoyed Date night with the family. Christian provide a great service and the food was delicious I had the Ahi Tuna and it was on point. The Boys had an 8 ounce sirloin and a half pound of king crab legs. The wife had an 8 ounce sirloin as well as we split brussels sprouts and au gratin potatoes. All delicious and highly recommend the Tuna it was delicious . We will be back

Yelp
Top Notch Food & Service! Their servers are very knowledgeable about their menu, always willing to assist me with any adjustments needed since I have some food allergies Their ambience is beautiful with dim lighting and a warm cozy feel... Great place for a fancy date :)

Ocean Prime is a gem of a restaurant! The service there is top-notch, and the food is absolutely delicious. It's a must-visit spot for a fantastic dining experience!

Yelp
Absolutely love all the food, ambiance and drinks here. I need to find them all over the country. The ahi Tuna is delicious. We ordered a variety of appetizers that were great as well and my drink was so fun!

Yelp
First time here and I have to really give it to the cozy atmosphere for an expensive steak house. The background music really compliments the comfort food vibe. Regardless of the occasion you're celebrating. Service was really attentive. Foods on the other hand did not meet the price point. Everything was at best hotel-room service level if you know what that means. Not a single dish really stood out. I did not expect to have comfort food at an expensive restaurant....while paying expensive price. But if I was to say what stood out was the vanilla ice cream topping the warm butter cake...never had such light vanilla ice cream that was rich and not too sweet at the same time.

Yelp
It has been a few since I visited this restaurant so I decided to try some different things than my normal when going to a steak house. First, let's start with the Sonoma Goat Chrese Ravioli with Golden Oak Mushrooms as an appetizer. Let me just say divine. It has an amazing sauce with I believe sun dried tomatoes omgoodness a must have when I go back. Now I am not a big bread eater, but their pretzel rolls, I could eat 10, hahaha. As a main course, I went with the Colorado Lamb Chops and a side of sautéed spinach with fresh garlic. A perfect compliment. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and so juicy and flavorful. Now, when it comes to cocktails, I did try a new one, the Hot & Dirty Martini. Wow, l, I absolutely loved it!!! Their desserts are divine, so I took home the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, yummm. And to top it off, I had the most amazing service from April. She made the perfect suggestions and all around helped to make the experience phenomenal!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Way over priced ($67) for what I got. I received two maybe 2 oz. lobster tails, and a medium bowl of over salted, over cooked, slightly spicy broccoli, no rice, no potatoes, nothing else. The "complimentary" bread basket was mediocre as well. We received one over crusty French bread piece, and two small pretzel sticks. The window view from the upstairs bar seating was pleasant enough, but you are ultimately paying for the building, not the food. The service was exemplary.

Yelp
Dined with a large group on a Saturday night. Place was lively but not overwhelmingly crowded. Just love the not-too-dark ambience. Started with the smoky old fashioned which was delicious. I shared a perfect beet and goat cheese salad. Our group ordered teriyaki salmon (huge piece of salmon) on a bed of shiitake mushroom rice, grouper, shellfish salad, lamp chops, and sea bass. Everything came out great. Small hiccup was that the risotto with the sea scallops was very salty. When we mentioned it to our server, he apologized and appreciated our feedback so that he could inform the chefs. Finished the meal with warm butter cake, crème brûlée, and French press coffee. They do have valet parking if that's something that interests you. You have to ask for the restaurant to validate your parking for a discounted rate. Overall, love the service, ambience, and food. Would definitely recommend and come back for more dining experiences.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was impeccable and the food was even better but the star of the night was definitely my husband's spicy house margarita. We had a nice table by the window where we felt comfortable with our little one and didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone sitting near by. Every time I go I get the rack of lamb, highly recommend!

Yelp
Ocean Prime is a place that you can go and consistently get a good meal and great drinks. We started with some wines, whiskey, martinis and my Berries & Bubbles made with dry ice. The decor is modern and welcoming. Our waitress and the staff were always there to offer refills and new drinks. We started with a couple of shrimp cocktail, soup & salad. If you're a fan of lobster bisque, give theirs a try. It's not heavy and has a little kick. The table dined on grouper, Chilean sea bass & scallops. My scallops were seared and sweet, just the way that I like them. The desserts as always looked amazing. The butter cake was the winner. It is usually my favorite, but I did not have enough room for it this trip.
google avatar

Janis M.

Yelp
Excellent seafood! Oysters on the half shell, lovely fish main courses and the desserts! Try the warm butter cake or the mile high carrot cake. Or be virtuous and try their sorbets - different choices every day. Service is excellent and prompt. Also the bubbles and berries is $8 during happy hour and is quite the show!

Yelp
Amazing food, fantastic service! Valet parking available, or metered street parking in the area. Do take note that they do have a dress code. Came here for a company dinner and left quite happy. We went a tad early, sat upstairs around 530 so it was loud and many kids around. That environment was perfect for us as we tend to speak loudly as well. They also have many private dining alcoves you can request. Danny and Lupe took care of us. They were phenomenal! The food was great, but their service was even better. Attentive and professional/personable. They made our experience that much better, and it will be hard to top that when we come back. All of our food was delicious. and there was a decent wine selection as well. My personal favorite was the sweet chili calamari steak, lobster and butter cake. I would potentially skip the prawns and mac and cheese, not up to the standards or presentations as the other items. Great for business dinners, family/friends get togethers and date nights. This is going to be one of my go-to client dinner spots. Overall, I would say this was a 5-star experience.
google avatar

Aurie J.

Yelp
Celebrated my mother in laws birthday here, the ambiance was nice, our server Chris was attentive and knowledgeable, food was good! The tuna tartare and the smoked old fashion were the highlights for me. My husband loved the teriyaki salmon and my mother in law loved the scallop dish. The asparagus and hollandaise were not great though, both were very bland. Overall was a good experience.

Yelp
Denver! It's restaurant week! It's my favorite time of the year and I hope you feel the same way! Ocean Prime has created a beautiful 3 course menu priced at $55 per person highlighting some of the best Surf & Turf items you could think of. Ocean Prime took a lot of time to curate a wide range of dishes to curate to your pallet! After recently renovating their main dining area, you will definitely feel the elegance while enjoying your evening with family and friends during restaurant weeks and after. Ocean Prime also offers private dining with 5 rooms that accommodate from 8 to 48 people. Some of the highlights I will mention in the dinner were the Lobster Bisque, 6oz filet, Sea Scallops and the Carrot Cake to end. Ocean prime also chose to add in accessories to elevate your meal even higher. Items such as Lobster Tails, Garlic Shrimp Scampi and Black Truffle Butter. Restaurant Week in Denver is dated from March 1st through March 10th. I recommend getting those reservations in through their website to secure a spot of tasting the amazing items displayed. Ocean Prime (Larimer Square) 1465 Larimer St Denver, Co 80202

Yelp
Great place for a date night. It's on the fancy and pricey side. We went on a Friday night, and even with the large crowd, it was still an intimate space. Make sure to get a reservation. We both took our server's recommendation and went with the fish. I also had a glass of pinot noir. The bonus was Peyton Manning, and his family was there the same night. We didn't get any dessert, but there are several options for your choosing.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic food and service -- all in the elegant atmosphere of Larimer Square. I absolutely love patio dining here when the weather is nice. The berries & bubbles cocktail is just the funnest drink ever -- and a must try for the ladies! Their cocktail game is generally very strong here. They make both excellent seafood and steaks -- and the selection is extensive. They also do my favorite seafood salad in town. Their Sunday menu is a pretty great deal, too: a set $70 per person for a first course app and a filet second course with sides. Lots of the bottles of wine are 50% off Sundays too.

Yelp
This place is the who's who of downtown Denver. If the weather is nice, I suggest sitting outside you absolutely need reservations. we did sit at the bar and order a drink until our table was ready. The bartender was friendly and gave us Grace suggestions for dinner. When we got seated at our table, our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable. We ordered everything he suggested, and was not disappointed. The place has multiple levels and a lot of space. A lot of athletes dine at this spot.

Yelp
The reason I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 is that we had a 630pm reservation and not seated until 705pm. I feel like if they are running that far behind, the restaurant should make things right, whether it be a cocktail or beer on the house. The waiting area was packed, P.A.C.K.E.D. and it was very uncomfortable. The irony, when we did get seated there were about 4-6 empty tables in the area, so not sure if they were short waiters or if this was an error on the hostess side, but we went up to ask twice about when we would be seated. The food was good, some was great. The sourdough bread on the table is wonderful, the pretzel sticks, not good. The french onion soup, nothing special. The lump crab cake and slaw were delicious. The filet mignon, perfect. The asparagus, tender. The mashed potatoes, eh, mine are way better. The creme brulee, good. Overall, we would possibly go back again as it was an enjoyable meal, but probably not anytime soon.

Yelp
We walked in on a Friday night without reservations and were seated right away by the bar. The server Kyana was EXCELLENT. She was attentive, friendly, helpful. The kind of person I would want to work for my business. She is the reason I gave this 5 star review (otherwise a 4). We shared the wedge salad, lamb lollipops appetizer, the bone in filet mignon, au gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was very good. The brussels sprouts had great flavor, but they did have a little bit too much of the marinade on them. Made them a little soggy. I hated the music playlist which mostly sounded like annoying noise in the background. I'd definitely come back if in the area. Next time I'll make sure to be further from a speaker.

Yelp
I was disappointed this evening that a professional woman on her laptop was repeatedly harassed (throwing popcorn at her, continually making unwanted advances) by two belligerent drunks at the bar - and the staff and management did nothing about it. At one point, I asked the waitstaff if a manager was on site and if someone could intervene. No one ever came by and eventually these drunks left. I left wondering if they didn't intervene because of inaction or because this type of behavior is so common it's become normalized here. Either way, quite disappointing.

Yelp
Decor is nice. Service is good! Food. Meh. Fish scallops and fishy crab cakes. Not good for the price.

Yelp
Only two mistakes, serving the lobster tales just after my soup had arrived and the volume of the music distracted from the meal and conversation. Cudos for no add on fees or charges to the bill. Thanks for a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner.

Yelp
I dined here with colleagues on March 14, 2023. This was my first dining experience at Ocean Prime! Ocean Prime is a chain but what I LOVE about Ocean Prime is that it delivers an experience that doesn't feel like a chain! They have locations in big metropolitan cities like Beverly Hill, Vegas, Tampa, Boston, NYC and DC just to name a few. This Ocean Prime is located in downtown Denver at Larimer Square, one of the city's oldest and most historic blocks and home to vibrant, distinctive, fine shopping and dining. Inside, you'll notice the trendy design, fragrant candle scents in the bathrooms and how immaculately clean everything is. My colleague made 5pm reservations in advance, but not necessary since the restaurant wasn't packed when we arrived (but it was full by the time we left). On the menu, besides the seafood options, you'll have multiple steaks to choose from in terms of cuts and sizes, including three choices of filet mignon, one a 12-oz. bone-in option. They also offer an extensive menu of side dishes to choose from: parmesan truffle fries to black truffle mac & cheese and, of course, loaded baked potatoes. And not to mention, they have signature cocktails along with a Wine Spectator-honored wine list I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which came with Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Puree, Truffle Vinaigrette. It was so flavorful and fresh. I highly recommend. The service here is world class and you'll be treated like a VIP. I can't wait to dine here again!!!

Yelp
My friend and I came here to eat but we couldn't find parking so we went back to my hotel and caught a Lyft. When we made it inside we were greeted by a gentleman that asked my name, I told him my name and he informed me they were getting the table ready. I spoke to a gal that appeared at the hostess desk named Bre, we shared a laugh and she said my table was ready to follow her. We went upstairs and were seated in a rounded booth. After we sat for a minute Kaila greeted us and took our drink orders and answered some questions we had about items on the menu. When Kaila returned we put in our food orders. I ordered the teriyaki salmon, with a side of shrimp, and also an order of lobster macaroni and cheese. My friend ordered the teriyaki salmon as well. In between time a gentleman stopped by and filled our cups with water, he was very friendly. We ordered some mixed drinks and when they came they were perfect. My friend and I both had Tito's Vodka mixed with cranberry juice. All in all the food was fantastic, the drinks were good, and the service we received from Kaila made the night perfect. I want to thank Kaila, Bre, and the restaurant for such a wonderful experience

Yelp
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER! The service was absolutely fantastic, as they helped my boyfriend become my fiancé this night. They put together everything for the proposal to be special and intimate. Our server Kevin, was so professional, assertive, detailed and kind. He was helping my fiancé with recording our special moment, being attentive with checking in frequently and making sure our food was up to standard. We got offered non-alcoholic champagne and the most delicious carrot cake after my fiance proposed. I wouldn't have wanted my special night to be any other way as Kevin and Ocean Prime made sure our night was a night to remember. Amazing food, service and ambiance. I can't wait to go back and celebrate our special moment there. Shout out to the team of Ocean Prime!

Yelp
DELICIOUS! The appetizers are phenomenal- the calamari was crispy, not greasy at all! The crab cake was great! Most of us in our party got the Florida grouper with gnocchi... probably the best gnocchi I've ever had! It melted in my mouth!! Soooo good! We shared sides- mushrooms, tater tots (sooo good!) Cant say enough! Such great Food Cocktails were out of this world too! Sooo unique and fun! Would love to go back!

Yelp
This was a great meal. And a pretty good deal. Sunday nights they have a surf and turf for $70 and half priced bottles of wine. The surf and turf is a choice of soup or salad, an 8 oz filet with your choice of shrimp scampi or crab meat, and a very small side. They started with bread, which included rustic bread and pretzels, both of which were good. I got the French onion soup...incredible, beefy, hearty, and delicious. I had my filet with shrimp scampi which added a lot of garlic and butter to my steak. Delicious! The shrimp flesh was firm and the shrimp were good. The filet was done perfectly, tender and tasty. And the truffle Mac and cheese was flavorful. The truffle Mac and cheese was a small portion, but with getting the filet and French onion soup, you were playing with house money at that price, and I was 100% stuffed when done with the meal. The cocktails were also excellent. I had the Spanish gin and tonic which had an intense lime flavor. Girlfriend had the hot spicy pineapple something. It was spicy! I love spice, but it was still a lot made with a serrano pepper simple syrup. Just a great meal all around at a fair but not cheap price. Sorry no pics!

Yelp
This is a very solid steakhouse, my first time at Ocean Prime. There was no major misses, it was a good dark dinner setting and the sides and steak did the job it was supposed to.

Yelp
Spent our 4th anniversary here last night and while it didn't have the bells and whistles of our 2nd, it was a memorable and romantic evening. Alice took care of us all night. She had a great personality, knew the menu to a tee + went above and beyond to make our meal a good one. Ordered: * 2014 Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs Brut bottle * Spicy Tuna Roll * Vegetable Roll * Dynamite Shrimp roll * 12 West Coast Oysters * Goat Cheese Ravioli * Ahi Tuna Entree * Miso-Chili Roasted Broccoli * 2 Sides Of Truffle Mac and Cheese * Parmesan Truffle Fries Was glad to try the Ahi Tuna this time around but wouldn't order it again. From menu: "Mango, Avocado, Cashews, Spicy Sesame Soy Glaze." So I thought it'd be like traditionally seared strips with those items over top but I received 2 large pieces which weren't seared, with a salad of the described items. Nothing meshed and the lack of texture difference had me taking a few bites and calling it quits. Personal preference, though. Loved the spicy tuna roll last time (it was different: tempura fried + spicy tuna w/ sauce on top.) This one was great as well, just unexpected since I was looking forward to how I had it a few times before. Only real negative is that the oysters didn't taste as fresh as we're used to and 2 of them were just terrible which was disappointing. Louis Roederer 2014 bottle was incredible with our meal. Not too dry, has a crispy sweetness. Got a carrot cake for dessert on the house for our 4 years :) Everything else was yummy like we remember! Service was, from our waitresses to the hosts to the bussers, A1 as always!

Yelp
Great food and great service. Ordered the scallops with a twice baked potato. Both came out cooked perfectly. The server consistently checked on our party and overall a great experience.
