Philly’s Best Steakhouses

"With a seductive dining room, lavish grand seating, modern deco walls, bubbly cocktails, and, frequently, dimmed lights, Ocean Prime is a Center City steakhouse for grown adults. Designed to evoke an intimate, yet elegant, lounge — this Rittenhouse spot is known for its surf & turf options and memorable 12-ounce bone-in filet." - Ernest Owens, Eater Staff

15 Rooftop and outdoor bars to try in NYC | Eater

"The steakhouse chain with a loyal following for power lunches knows how to kick off a hearty meal with a cocktail. Opt into a cucumber gimlet, made with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin, muddled fresh cucumber, simple syrup and hand squeezed lime. It’s not quite a salad, but it’s veggie-forward enough to segue straight to heftier appetizers like lobster bisque and white truffle caviar deviled eggs." - Vox Creative

Stephanie Izard’s New Restaurant is ‘Good Fun’: Critic - Eater Chicago

"Ocean Prime is a strong new contender in Chicago’s steakhouse scene. Graham Meyer says the 14-ounce New York strip is a “beautiful piece of meat” that boasts a “superb crust, show[ing] almost no gristle.” White truffle caviar deviled eggs combine “two hackneyed luxury ingredients into a not-cliche appetizer,” and the flavors of both delicacies are able to come through. Other menu “novelties” include a spicy tuna roll that lets the fish’s “freshness glimmer through the sauce, dulling the sting of the high price tag;” and a Maryland crab melt featuring a large crab cake on a bun with arugula, tomato, and “pleasantly zippy” tartar sauce." - Jeffy Mai

Liza Treyger’s Grub Street Diet

"A theater-friendly, higher-end seafood-and-steak option that impressed with a decadent $48 lobster mac ’n’ cheese described as worth every penny, alongside multiple Manhattan cocktails. The reviewer found the caviar deviled eggs poorly portioned for two (effectively three whole eggs), which tempered an otherwise indulgent meal." - Zach Schiffman, Sarah Kilcoyne

Google
I was determined to have Italian food and was literally on my way to a restaurant I was following on my GPS, but when I passed by Ocean Prime, their bar and the vibe immediately caught my attention. I scanned the QR code, saw the menu and decided to walk in. Totally worth it! I was seated, ordered an Old Fashioned, the Smokey, I believe, the presentation was lovely and it was amazing. I ordered the filet mignon with the black truffle butter which was cooked to perfection. I also had half portions of the mashed potato, mac & cheese, and the asparagus. Everything was just top-tier and amazing! I was actually excited that they offered half portion size since it was just me, and I don’t eat large portions. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back.

Google
Ocean Prime NYC delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The vibe was absolutely perfect, especially with window seating at night, which added a touch of elegance and energy to the evening. The Old Fashioned was expertly crafted, with rich, balanced flavor and a customized OP ice stamp that added a classy, memorable touch. The bread basket alone was phenomenal, warm, fresh, and hard to stop eating. The sushi was truly next level, the best grade of fish I’ve had on the East Coast. Fresh, buttery, and beautifully presented. The lobster tails were divine, perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection. The Caesar salad was also a standout, with crisp lettuce and dressing that was evenly and thoughtfully distributed. Highly recommend Ocean Prime if you're in NYC and looking for a fine dining experience that delivers across the board, ambiance, cocktails, food, and service all hit the mark.

Google
I love fine dining and Ocean Prime is currently one of the best restaurants in the city with a big bill that is worth every morsel. The steak was soft, tender and buttery and the sides were perfection. The cocktails were also a delightful experience. I had a drink served on dry ice and the presentation was like a magic show!

Google
Expensive for sure. Customer service was excellent. The place is decorated beautifully. I ordered the following. Ocean 55: 8/10 Point Judith calamari: 10/10 - spicy sauce. The vegetables and sauce compliments so well. Teriyaki salmon: 8.5/10 - pretty good and cooked well. Sautéed mushrooms: 6/10 - not bad at all. Mac & cheese: 6/10 - my little one didn’t like it at all. It was decent to me.

Google
Very mediocre house and Caesar salads were followed by truly amazing filet mignon and snapper. The filet was extraordinarily good and much better than the average NY steakhouse. The red snapper had an amazing crust on it and the sides for both were delicious. They care a lot about their fish and there were several choices which is great for a steak-focused place. The carrot cake dessert was amazing and even the ice cream was much better than usual. They have an incredible wine list and service was impeccable. Only complaint was lack of a good zero beer. They had an amazing restaurant week deal or it would have been a bit pricey but still worth it. Atmosphere is very dead and boring if but very classy if you want that.

Google
What a place! Great experience at Ocean prime. The restaurant has a vibe. Elegant, sexy, mysterious. It was fun. From the beginning to the end, impeccable service. The bread basket… omg. All of the breads were delicious. We ordered the eggs, truffles and caviar (if I close my eyes I can remember that exactly time. 😅), it was out of this world. Burrata and Caesar salad were perfects! Salmon and filet mignon… pause… PERFECTION! So so well cooked, week seasoned. Filet mignon was melting in my mouth! And now… the carrot cake… THE BEST CARROT CAKE I ate in my life. And I didn’t like carrot cake before because I never tried one that was really good. And the portion size was perfect. Definitely recommend this restaurant. You have my heart. ❤️ thank you for the great experience!

Google
A short walk to the Iridium and great experiences at the Philly location made this an easy decision. Service was stellar and everything about the meal was on point. Remember to ask for the popcorn if seated in the dining area - we forgot until after the nigiri rolls but better late than never.

Google
From the moment I walked in, till the moment I reached the table everything was absolutely amazing. The ambiance, the food , the service, everything was on point. My Server Natalia gave out her best recommendations on drinks and she recommended the Teriyaki Salmon which was absolutely mind-blowing! I tried the creamed spinach & Mashed potatoes and they were both phenomenal.I will be back soon with a lot more people. I am looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you for such a pleasant meal and excellent Hospitality.

Yelp
We reserved a table for 6 and we're running late on a Friday night, we called ahead of time to let them know. Upon arrival we waited a few minutes to see that we were being seated in a private room that was huuuge. The service was superb, attentive, and very friendly. They served our meals, got chairs for our purses, took our pictures, and refilled our glasses as needed. Scallops were soft, tasteful. The braised beef was also soft, savory, sweet, perfectly balancing each other. The ribeye was amazing, melted in my mouth, and was great with the sauce. Pairing it with the creamy mashed potato was the perfect combination in every bite. I enjoyed the steamed broccoli as it was seasoned well and a bit crispy on the edges. The calamari was a little tangy and not too much my taste but I enjoyed a few and is always a classic appetizer. Dynamite roll was the perfect bite and had a little kick to it. I'm still blown away by the amazing service and hospitality we were given with our reservation. We were only expecting a table for ourselves as we were running late and the place was so busy packed. I appreciate the staff here for accommodating us and making it feel special for our group. The interior was decorated and felt so cozy inside. I am definitely coming back again.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped by for our anniversary dinner last night since I've been wanting to come here for a while. We had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes of arriving. The place itself is spacious, and the dim lighting makes it perfect for a romantic dinner. They sat us in the dining room, and the only drawback was that we were seated right between two other tables that were very close to ours, so we didn't love that. They start you off with warm bread, and the pretzel sticks were my favorite. I chose the pineapple picante for my cocktail and loved it! My boyfriend first had the espresso martini, which was alright, and then he had the prime passion, which was really refreshing, but he wished it was stronger. For appetizers, we got the Caesar and house salads, both solid. For my entrée, I got the 8oz filet, and wow, I was truly blown away! My boyfriend got the teriyaki salmon, and he also enjoyed it. For dessert, we got the ice cream with almond cracker and carrot cake, both of which were delicious. Overall, I would definitely return and would recommend this place for any special occasion. The service was really good; they were very attentive and timely. It is pricey, even with it being restaurant week our bill was about $300, including gratuity but it's worth the splurge.

Yelp
We came here for the Restaurant Week dinner... only to find out it's not available on weekends (NYC tourism website needs an update!). The servers were playful yet attentive, making for a fun experience. We arrived at 4 PM, and the place filled up fast. Our table ordered a variety of dishes: the Chilean sea bass special with crab meat, scallops with parmesan risotto (the risotto was a standout: creamy, delicious, and I didn't even mind the peas), and the teriyaki salmon, which was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with shiitake sticky rice. The cocktails were creative and really quite pretty, according to my friends. My only real disappointment? The mango sorbet. It was completely flavorless... was quite bummed about it.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, the food was good. Old Fashioned was smooth and the specialty cocktails have nice flair (like an orchid in ice). But like so many nicer restaurants in NYC the price is a little tough to swallow. We were a larger party of six at a round table and for the most part could converse as a group and hear each other. The music level was perfect so as not to drown out all conversation. The Florida Grouper and Chilean sea bass were lovely, particularly the whipped potatoes with the sea bass. Would not recommend ordering too many sides and really focus on savoring your main course. We also got the carrot cake (10 layers which adds little more icing/sweetness) and the inclusion of pineapple was an interesting twist. Chocolate torte was very large! Ambiance doesn't feel terribly upscale compared to some other establishments. Perfectly nice but overall not very special. Service was very attentive.

Yelp
Our server Shaikh went above and beyond. The food was great as usual especially the lobster bisque very delicious. The ten layer carrot cake was also so good. Came a little earlier than my reservation time with no problems!
google avatar

Jocelyn L.

Yelp
I've been a couple times and the food is good and consistent for a chain. We tried the restaurant week menu and everything was delicious. I loved my blacked fish which was paired perfectly with the corn puree. There was plenty of food and even had to take my dessert home because I was full. Service was nice and attentive.

Yelp
Lunch was good, a medium-cooked burger with a side of French onion soup (not too hot which made it easier to eat, and nice, savory/rich and salty). Steak salad looked good, too. Definitely get reservations, this place gets busy. They did cover the bar area, too, normally outdoors in nicer weather but covered for the winter now.

Yelp
This place is Prime! Michaela & Nori bartenders are a force to be reckoned with. They can take on the ocean and win with drinks that will rock your world. Gella was amazing. She really helped make the entire meal gel together. I wish her a big congratulations on her soon to be twins. She was amazing and made for an enjoyable experience. Nicole the manager is also amazing. The ambiance here is very elegant. Perfect for business lunches, date nights, good drinks and an overall amazing experience.

Yelp
Must visit for dinner!! Exceeded my expectations. Food was delicious and drinks was phenomenal. Service was above and beyond. I forgot our server name but he was so charming and very knowledgeable. He kept us entertain during our dinner and made sure the drinks where flowing. We had a large party and he didn't disappoint at all. Very attentive and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful dinner with great conversation excellent drinks and good laughter. Food was 10/10 Must try the salmon and twin lobster tail Thank you

Yelp
Ocean Prime was awesome for a bachelorette dinner that we had for my cousin. There were 8 of us in the group and not going to lie, making the reservation was a little stressful when we originally had 9. Online reservation cap if for 8 people, and if it's any more, they (whoever I spoke to on the phone and whoever I emailed), will encourage you to put a $4500 down for the room that holds 13. I prayed someone would drop and they did :) Our little party was seated in the private room by the entrance and hostess stand. Food was absolute 10/10, and service was quick, friendly, and efficient. I swear, we put our orders in, and at least the onion soups, tartare, and whatever else starters/cocktails there we ordered were delivered promptly. Onion soups was pretty standard, but super filling. The steak tartare though? One of the best I've ever had, super flavorful, with its freshness lingering even after the bite. My 16 oz ribeye with the additional shrimp and au poivre sauce that I ordered was perfection. The presentation for my cocktail was also very entertaining and picturesque (Berries and Bubbles). Thank you to our server who was patient with us and gifted us a complimentary dessert for our bachelorette. Butter cake with vanilla ice cream was the bomb.com.
google avatar

Yelp
There were 8 of us and we had a 7pm reservation on a Friday. We hung out by the bar while everyone arrived and were seated promptly once the last person got there. For appetizers we had the calamari, a sushi roll and oysters that we shared amongst all of us. For main course I tried the blackened snapper, Florida grouper and filet mignon and everything was very tasty. For desert we had the carrot cake, chocolate torte and crème brûlée. Again everything was phenomenal, from the presentation to the flavor. I also had a few Hot and dirty martinis and would definitely recommend (especially over a regular martini). Service was great. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
A lively evening spot for large groups. The teriyaki salmon was perfectly cooked and buttery and went well with the sticky rice. The waiter was attentive and the pacing of the meal was just right despite the number of tables and guests in the restaurant.

Yelp
Great music mix between greatest pop and newest tunes. Definitely helps the vibe service was amazing. Anything we ask they gave us changes to order substitutions. The server was super nice even bought over a birthday cake for my homegirl. We were celebrating her birthday and confetti and the food was amazing everything it was good oysters calamari, scallops it all was good.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, the service staff at Ocean Prime made us feel special. Attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish every detail was perfect. Now, the food. Wow! We started with fresh, briny oysters that were just perfect. The New York Strip was cooked to perfection juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The blackened snapper had a wonderful spice blend, keeping every bite exciting. The jalapeño Au Gratin brought just the right amount of heat with cheesy goodness. The Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli was a surprising standout creamy, tangy, and simply unforgettable. We finished the meal with the Butter Cake, which was warm, buttery, and heavenly. Our drink of choice was the Berries & Bubbles refreshing, vibrant, and the perfect complement to every dish. From food to service, everything was top-notch. We'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
Came here for my good friends bachelorette dinner. I ordered the chicken because everything else was outrageously priced on the menu. For the price I paid. I didn't think the quality or the flavor was all that good. They did see us in a special private room, which was nice, but it was freezing. They would turn the heat on and then turn it off. We had to sit with our jackets on the whole night. Overall, it wasn't the greatest experience and I don't think I would ever be going back. Don't plan on coming here unless you plan to spend more than $80 on a meal and a drink.

Yelp
Back again, third year in a row and everything was DELICIOUS!! Highlights are the ocean prime roll and the Chilean sea bass. We also got a sushi roll from the specials of the day - it was king crab and the roll came with the most amazing sauce that had a spicy kick. Service was excellent as usual! A great place for a special Occassion.

Yelp
My partner took me here on Saturday for our valentine dinner. They have the option valet if you're driving in but we ubered so we didn't need to in that option. I got the berry and bubbles and it was yummy. The complimentary bread and butter was delicious. For entree I got the pork chop and was good. My partner got the pasta and lobster and he loved how fresh the lobster was. For dessert we got the carrot cake and it was decadent All in all service was great and it was a beautiful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.

Yelp
Where do I begin. This place is gorgeous. The food is beyond amazing. One of my favorite places in Manhattan . Perfect place for a private business lunch, or party. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I love ocean prime! First time I tried it in DC many years ago but this time I decided to take my man for his birthday. I love how they celebrate birthdays and everyone took the time to wish him a happy birthday! We sat upstairs in a little cozy area where they only had tables for 2, so it was quieter compared to the main floor. Service was amazing and so was the food. We added the truffle butter to the steak which wasn't all of that IMO. But we also got the short ribs and scallops (didn't get a pic of those) to start and they were both so buttery, melt in your mouth delicious.
google avatar

Jen I.

Yelp
Great spot if you want Surf 'n Turf. The Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection.
google avatar

Monique J.

Yelp
Ocean Prime is amazing!! I've been here twice. The restaurant has two floors and nice decorations. Once it was extremely cold during our meal but most recently the temperature was mild. We always have a reservation but arrive early & sit at the bar until the table is ready. We let them know that we'd like to have a bottle of champagne and the bottle is on ice near the table on arrival. There are a host of staff walking around and our waitress checked on us often enough so we always felt taken care of. All of the food has been really good! We've tried the steak, oysters, lamb chop, scallops and branzino. I've never had a complaint. For dessert I've loved the 10 layer carrot cake and warm butter cake. There is a parking lot next door and you get a discount when you have your parking ticket validated at the restaurant.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The servers are very attentive. I love the bubbles and berries cocktail. Lots of fun. Highly recommend the lobster mac & cheese and the fresh oysters.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for dinner. The restaurant was so cold, not the people, but the temperature inside this enormous dining area was breezy to cold. I suggest you bring a sweater or jacket. Pray that the food will keep you warm. We had Sheikh or Syed wait at our table. We had appetizers to start. I had a Surf N Turf appetizer, including beef and scallops. This appetizer was very rich in flavor. The rich flavors from tender, juicy meat, and scallops resulted in rich flavor. Recommended appetizer! My friend had goat cheese ravioli. That was delicious too. For entree, I had Bronzino and she had Chilean Sea Bass. Although I always liked Bronzino, this night, I thought her Chilean Sea Bass was so much better than my dish. My Bronzino was too dry. We ordered asparagus and roasted garlic mashed on the side. Those were very good. Our server was excellent! He was attentive and professional and his Surf N Turf recommendation was fantastic! Before leaving the premises, we got brave by ordering butter cake! I can't believe it's butter in the cake that I ate. That cold temperature made me stop ordering more. I would have ordered more if the A/C temperature had been reduced to 70. Sorry that I had to leave after all that, lol! Thanks for the smooth handling of our dinner! Beautiful place and excellent service!

Yelp
This restaurant came as a recommendation from the doorman at The Michelangelo hotel. We arrived on a Tuesday just after 9:00pm and were immediately seated, but I have a hunch reservations are encouraged because this place was packed and now I know why. The restaurant itself is beautiful and comfortable. We started with the shrimp cocktail, for entrees it was grouper and scallops then finished off with the carrot cake. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back next time we are in NYC!

Yelp
My 2 friend's took me here for my promotion . The restaraunt is gorgeous; however, the bathrooms were not as clean.the customer service was top notch! We ordered , a crab cake , Caesar salad and the deviled eggs as an appetizer . For our main dishes my self and a friend ordered the 8oz filet mignon Oscar style and my other friend ordered fish . We got mushrooms , lobster mac n cheese and mashed potatoes as sides . I ordered a mockrail ( I forgot the name ) every dish was amazinggggggggg . The mock-tail was literally the best mock tail I tasted . Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I visited Ocean Prime last night for dinner and was not disappointed. I had an 8:30pm reservation for 2 and arrived at 8pm. Upon checking in I was greeted by the hostess who was very nice and seated us right away. Our waiter for the night was Rinor, who was very knowledgeable about the menu and made our time enjoyable. For appetizers we had the Jumbo lump crab cake. I had the lobster linguine for my entree and my boyfriend had the 8oz steak and roasted garlic mash. The Food, service and ambiance was a hit.. 10/10. I will definitely be back

Yelp
Amazing service and ambiance. This is a great place to come for a date. The sea base was divine, I will definitely be back and recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Absolutely splendid experience! I got the ribeye cooked medium well and it was delicious and so flavorful. The garlic mashed potatoes were yummy and a huge portion for $19 , it feeds 2.

Yelp
I have been to Ocean Prime in the theater district of Manhattan many times and I'd like to precede my review with sharing that it is my favorite restaurant on the planet. The ambiance is romantic and dimly lit. You should aim to go dressed well to blend nicely. The service is amazing. From the hosts/tesses to the servers, everyone is polite, patient, and well-informed. In addition, you can get pretty much anything you want. If you find something on the menu and you'd like to add something to it (cheese, lobster, etc.), they're happy to customize it for you. Now I saved the best part for last: the food. If you are a seafood freak like me, this is the place (although my dates who've ordered steak here tell me it's amazing). I always order the jumbo shrimp cocktail (huge, chilled, and served with amazing cocktail sauce). I also always have the French onion soup as that's a favorite of mine and a must have everywhere; it is perfectly balanced here (tender onions, great cheese, and a good crouton to onion ratio; served hot). For dinner I had the twin lobster tails (perfect because DUH LOBSTER) with asparagus. We ordered mashed potatoes (8/10), black truffle Mac and cheese (a MUST HAVE 10/10), and the smoked Gouda tater tots (not my fav but they were definitely quality). In addition the drinks are crafted very well. I ALWAYS get berries and bubbles (a Belvedere based cocktail that puts on a bubbly show and it's super tasty). My photos are screenshots of videos so they do not do the presentation justice but I assure you that that is a 10/10 as well. Worth every penny.

Yelp
We stopped by Ocean Prime for a cocktail and a bite to eat. This is a very nice restaurant and the service is impeccable.

Yelp
So Ocean Prime has been on my to do list for a long time. Had a drink at the bar it was very active at 630pm. We both had martinis they were perfectly made with blue cheese olives. We then sat down to a well spaced table and ordered another cocktail. Started with some sushi the Ocean Roll it was fresh and delicious We then went with the 8oz filet mignon added gouda potatoes and spinach and a side of lobster macaroni and cheese. Service was attentive and excellent the food was incredible and tasty. Also had a glass of wine with dinner, but I chose a Super Tuscan by the glass that was fresh and on point. Finished up with the carrot cake and butter cake desert with a double espresso. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

G P.

Yelp
The staff were really nice. They expedited my service because I had to attend a play. I was celebrating my partner's birthday and we had a wonderful time. The rib eye is amazing. The only items we didn't like were the New York strip because it was way too tough even though we asked for medium, the deviled eggs because there was only truffle and no other flavor such as salt, and the butter cake, which was somewhat dry. The lobster mac and cheese was delicious, the calamari was tasty, my partner basically scraped the plate lol. The ambiance is nice if you're looking for an upscale steakhouse.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was really tasty and good, the value for a NY City restaurant in the heart of the theater district more than fair but to top it all off was the incredible service! They have a sign in back of the hostess station about their commitment to service and boy do they mean it. The only thing I am sorry about is not remembering the name of my server that night. We decided before seeing a show to have our anniversary meal at Ocean prime but when we told our server we had to pass on dessert because of our show approaching, she said we should come back to have a dessert on her because it was our anniversary well we ended up going back, they resat us at a brand new table. Let us choose a full dessert of our choice and even included two cappuccinos for me and my love for the evening nightcap. When it was time to go, our server reminded us it was all on her and we should take the roses that were on our table as well. I was more than happy to leave a $20 tip on top of my dinner tip because her demeanor, professionalism smiles courtesy And attitude deserved nothing less. It's a great place go visit. Enjoy a fantastic meal with some fantastic owners that really know how to treat their customers.

Yelp
We came as a group of 5 to celebrate a birthday. Wowwww the food was so good. We shared to start crab cakes, lobster Mac and cheese and it was delicious. For main meal we had a combination of steak, salmon, filet mignon and lots of sides. We ordered tater tots, truffle fries, Brussel sprouts. The food was so good. We wanted to keep eating. Now the service. We had two servers supporting the table. They had a great energy and were so kind and patient. They made the birthday experience for our two birthday ladies special.

Yelp
This is one of my dad's favorite restaurants. I usually don't like going to a chain, but this was an exception. It is extremely expensive for what you get, but we had a gift card so we felt it was worth it. We spent most of the money on drinks. The food was good nothing to really write home about but still good. The service was fantastic, the staff is very well-versed on the menu, and then go out of their way to make your experience exceptional.

Yelp
From the time we entered this establishment, we were attended to which was great. We were seated in a very comfortable booth and our waiter swiftly came over to assist us. This place had a nice mellow vibe with soft music and lighting that was slightly dim. Now for the food. Everything we ordered was simply delicious. Hubby had the French onion soup which he loved and I had the scallops for appetizers which I also thoroughly enjoyed. For the main course I had the haibut which was perfectly cooked. Hubby had the lamb chops which was well seasoned and cooked just right. He did order the mashed potatoes and black truffle Mac and cheese thinking they were small sides but, they were quite large portions. This was a great experience. Definitely on the return list

Yelp
I went with my partner for his birthday. The service was good, our waiter was friendly and made good recommendations. I ordered the New York Strip with a side of roasted garlic mash. The food could have been warmer, it was not cold but rather luke warm. I asked for well done steak, however, the steak was medium well. There was a hint of pink, in which I do not mind but if I did, it would have been annoying. Overall, the steak was tender and delicious. I decided to try their truffle butter sauce, which was a mistake. I should have gotten the A1. The sauce was not good for the meal. It would have been good for fries! For sides I got the garlic mash which was scrumptious. The mash was soft and fluffy, it complimented the steak really well. For drinks I had the berries and bubbles. It's a fun cute drink that bubbles up. It's sweet and not strong. My partner got the blackened snapper, which he enjoyed. I had a taste and it was yummy. The sauce that it is cooked in, is chef's kiss. He ordered the PINEAPPLE PICANTE, which had some interested flavors. I enjoyed it. Overall, my experience was good. I went on a Thursday, it was pretty busy, we made reservations. The bill came up to $224.

Yelp
My daughter took me to dinner here for my birthday and it was perfection. What a class act from beginning to end. We ordered the theater menu and it was way too much food. The sides came in big bowls enough to feed three more people alone with the sides. My daughter gave up after the soup course and unfortunately wasn't able to eat the rest of the meal. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant and experience. Beautiful/elegant restaurant. Surprised a friend with dinner reservations here for their birthday. We started at the bar as we waiting for our table and enjoyed the prime passion, old fashioned and pineapple picante for drinks. The complimentary popcorn at the bar was a pleasant surprise and a delicious one at that. For appetizers, we ordered the tuna tartare which was incredible, point Judith calamari and prime roll. For our entrees we ordered the branzino, blackened snapper and 8 oz filet mignon. Our sides included the miso chili roasted broccoli, truffle mac&cheese, smoked gouda tater tots, and brussel sprouts. My favorite was the broccoli and truffle mac&cheese. Our waiter Shaikh was wonderful. Very attentive and helpful with ordering. He also surprised the birthday person with a delicious ten layer carrot cake. We all agreed it was the best carrot cake we've ever had.

Yelp
My team of 8 had a celebratory lunch here, and it didn't disappoint. Ever section we walked pass on the way to our seats gave a different vibe. We were seated near the staircase, so I had a great view of the entire restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive, she checked on us often and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Her only downfall was forgetting my tea with my dessert. I guess only the espresso and coffee lovers got love. After telling her twice, I was over it. Now to the food... Crab cake: amazing, filled with jumbo crab meat served with a sweet and sour slaw that only enhanced the flavor White Truffle Caviar Deviled Egg: smooth creamy and delicious. It's not your grandma's deviled egg, that's for sure. Calamari: fried and seasoned perfectly served with a sweet and sour sauce. It was different, but a good different. It gave me an Asian feeling. Lobster Bisque: my colleague enjoyed the rich creamy soup and left nothing in the bowl. 8oz Filet Mignon: cooked to my liking with a Cabernet sauce that was to die for, I almost licked my plate. Ten layer carrot cake: moist and delicious, but not too sweet. Warm Butter Cake: Ehh... I've had it from their competition across the street, so I couldn't help comparing the 2. I prefer the other restaurants version. All and all a pretty good experience, they have a little something for everyone. I can't wait to go back, maybe next time I'll get my tea.

Yelp
My husband and I and another couple came here after a mix up booking reservations at another restaurant in the area and I'm glad about the mix up! The food and service were absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend this location to everyone. For starters we had a dozen oysters, the crab cake, and steak tartar. Everything was absolutely delicious and well made. The oysters hit the spot and the crab cake had literally no filler whatsoever. My husband and his friend raved about the steak tartar. For dinner, I and another guest ordered the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. My husband and his friend ordered and spilt the lamb chops which they loved and the A1 wagyu. The wagyu was not a favorite by either of them as they said it didn't melt in their mouths. For sides we ordered the asparagus, mushrooms, and creamed spinach. I liked everything but the creamed spinach as the bacon taste was very strong to me. However, the whole table did enjoy it. Drinks were on point and the whole experience was delightful. I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
We were visiting NY and our friend booked this restaurant for dinner last night and we chose an outside seating for a party of three. This server (Male - 5'10", 60s, short greyish beard with glasses) lacked good customer service skills how to handle guests at this so-called upscale restaurant 1. He approached to greet the guests at the table, he, however, failed miserably to address the entire table because he focused his attention entirely on 2 of the three guests as if the 3rd guest was invisible. A typical standard greeting would be as simple as "Welcome to Ocean Prime, and how is everyone this evening?" and make proper eye contact with every single guest at the table. I gather he missed that in his training manual. 2. When he returned to the table with only two menus (not three, mind you). when asked, he said, "I thought you two could share the menu." in an interesting, un-caring tone of voice. I seriously doubted the restaurant was short of menus at the time. We do plenty of restaurant reviews in the US and abroad, and this was the first time we encountered this peculiar behavior, let alone acceptable, from a server. In my humble opinion, any restaurant, especially an up-scale one, would always present a menu for each guest unless indicated otherwise. While we had a decent meal at this restaurant, the lack of standard customer service from this particular server would certainly prevent us from returning. Furthermore, we would not recommend this restaurant to friends and family based solely on this negative experience. If management happens to read this review and wish to contact me for additional information, you may do so via email.
