"Ochoa’s is a popular counter service restaurant housed in a burnt orange building with a welcoming hand-painted sign on the facade. Taqueria is in the name, and there’s certainly a lot of fillings to choose from, though before deciding what to order, make sure to give the huge wall menu with individually framed photos of dishes a skim. That’s where diners will find entrees like fried fish, pork chops, and roast chicken served with beans and rice, as well as seafood cocktails and caldos." - Krista Garcia, Janey Wong

Do not waste money or time visiting this establishment. We used to drive from McMinnville to eat here because it was so good. Much has changed. To start the entire restaurant is filthy, including the bathrooms. We ordered $55 worth of food that was served to us one plate at a time after a 30-40 minute wait. I'm willing to wait for good food but the tacos were full of beans instead of meat, the toppings were just thrown on top. The quesadilla was cold with unmelted cheese inside, quesatacos had no flavor, sodas were served hot! Its sad to see how little the people operating this place care about doing a good job. As much money as they have to be making the condition of this restaurant is very poor. Such a disappointment to say the least..

I decided to give this restaurant another chance. Ordered the barbacoa family pack through Uber Eats and it was horrible. Half of it was large blobs of fat, just nauseating. I do not recommend ordering that. They need to take pride in their work and do better.

Google
They make the best breakfast combo burrito 🌯 in town and their three salsas that come with it are a perfect compliment to the deliciousness inside. It also comes with a giant hash brown you can wrap inside that gives it the extra "pop" that makes them truly go above and beyond. They are about $8 a burrito but worth every penny. I would 💯 recommend this business.

Google
Well the only thing that I was not happy about was after asking a question about where I purchase meat by the pound at as there's apparently 2 areas you can order from (inside or outside) the group of 4 workers/cookers outside by the grill all turned towards each other and said something in Spanish and started laughing while staring at me. Not sure what they said or if it was even to me but it definitely seemed like it was. Other than that the food I purchased was good, the quality and quantity was great, It was my first time so I'll try again and hopefully it will go well

Okay I’m not one to leave reviews but I’m literally so tired of this happening. Whenever I order tacos it’s from this place because they have outstanding tacos but when I have tacos I love sauce with my tacos and whenever I order from here I never get any sauce. I just ordered 5 tacos and I got two sauces that aren’t even filled half way. I shouldn’t have to spend 7$ on a big thing of sauce just to have sauce with my tacos. Never ordering from here again because I want a place that isn’t so greedy about taco sauce. ✌🏻

Google
They are very accommodating to non meat eaters. They made me a fabulous veggie quesadilla with rice and beans. My son got a wet bean burrito and it was loaded up. They have a salsa bar that includes pickled veggies too. Our meal was $26. We drink water though

Google
I ordered quesabirria tacos and consome, and it was okay. The consome was not super flavorful, just a little spicy. My tacos also had large pieces of hard cartilage and bone in them. It makes sense for me to have found them in the consome, but in my tacos kind of ruined my appetite.

Quaint place in Hillsboro! Food was excellent, service was excellent!

Yelp
Food: The best tacos I have had in the area! Most are only $2.50 each. The birria tacos are $3 and are cooked to a cheesy perfection -- crispy shell, gooey cheese, and juicy tender meat. The Al Pastor tacos are packed with flavor, I really like their seasonings. The Lengua is extremely tender and juicy as well, and tastes like it was marinaded in a beef broth. The grilled onions are deliciously sweet. I appreciate that the tacos come with a mountain of onions and cilantro and limes to the side so that you can adjust the amount to your liking. Salsa bar is located near the cash registers. Service: Food & drinks are delivered to tables, but then you must bus your own table. If you need a box, you must go ask for one. Ambiance: Frequented by families and workers taking their lunch breaks. Also seems to be a popular spot for caterers. The dining space is unfortunately quite unclean - we only found one table in the whole restaurant that was somewhat clean, despite most of the others being empty. I would return for these delicious tacos. Fair price, huge portions, amazing taste. Would probably take it to go next time!

Yelp
First time here and I really enjoyed the food, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Large portions as you can see and I ended up taking half home. I will be coming back and try the outside seating and grilling. I walked to the back and the chicken on the grill looked yummy. I will say the girl at the counter took it well when some clown was yelling at her. People lack self respect and yelling at someone gets you nothing. People who work in customer service shouldn't have to endure abuse from angry people especially at a family restaurant. I'll be back to support this business.

Yelp
El servicio está para la chingada, mesas más sucias qué mi culo, Les falta mucho la verdad. afuera come más bien uno con los taqueros de trompo. Y olé hasta la verga ahí. Yaaaaaaaaaa pónganse las pilas

Yelp
Hmmmm. Well, mixed feelings for sure. I have always meant to try Ochoa's as their food stand at our neighborhood market seems to always be slammed. We finally dropped in last week. It's a counter order set up, seat yourself afterwards and your meal will be brought to the table. Apparently loads of menu offerings, although I had a bit of trouble ordering. There is a wall of plate options pictured inside. However after asking what a couple of the plates consisted of and seeing a line building behind me, I just ended up picking the Super Taco plate. At least I'd know for sure I'd like what arrived at the table. Our super taco plates arrived super fast, and super hot. They do not short you on food, as the tacos were certainly stuffed with meat. The flavors were good too, quite authentic tasting ...not too heavy on the heat but a bit spicy. I especially enjoyed the crunchy tacos, their shells are fabulous. We really enjoyed our food overall, just a bit disappointed you don't get chips & salsa, and that they don't sell margaritas. But I'd say the food we had was a strong 4. My big negative would be the place. The condition leaves a bit to be desired. Everything seemed a bit less than sparkling clean, as well as somewhat run down. Lots of ripped seats and outdated furnishings, giving me the overall feeling that a deep cleaning and maintenance/reno is overdue. I'd give the restaurant feel a generous 2. Good food for sure, but I would have to stick to take-out or wait for the farmers market to return to try it again.

Yelp
I love the food, location, prices, quality of food, service.. my only critique.. is I wish they would turn off the TV.. it really changes the vibe...authentic music would really make a difference in the atmosphere.

John L.

Yelp
One of my favourite Mexican place in Hillsboro. Love their torta cubana, l of adex with beef, chicken, sausage, and eggs. Tacos are great too. You do have to wait a bit as it gets busy but the trick is call in n your order 10 minutes before and you just go to the front and pick it up.

Steve G.

Yelp
Traditional authentic Mexican fare, fast table service that consistently has patrons, dining area mostly booths, would say you can't go wrong having a meal here.

Yelp
Yummy! Ochoa has a great food cart, and finally I made it into the restaurant. The food was so good! Had the super taco plate with carnitas and carne asada- 6 tacos in all. The carnita meat was juicy and flavorful and the side salsas complemented the tacos so well. The burrito suiza is a hefty size burrito topped with tasty red sauce, carne asada was our meat choice. The meat was a tad dry but still full of flavor. Lastly was the torta with carnita meat, good ratio of meat to veggies. The menus are on the wall when you first enter the restaurant, unfortunately no descriptions about what each combination plate contains, so I stuck to the items I recognized to play it safe. Tip: study the Yelp menu pictures before you go! The menu choices are overwhelming in a good way! The dining room is not that great looking. We sat in the corner and it was chilly, not sure if they had any heat on, but we warmed up with our food. So dress appropriately and enjoy the food. We didn't come for atmosphere, we came for good food. We went back two weeks later and got takeout and ordered the taco plate again and caldo. Filling and delicious! Tasty food and big portions, good solid Mexican food.

Yelp
Today I ordered 3 carne asada tacos, 2 fish tacos and 1 Al Pastor taco and 1 beef gordita. I also asked for chile verde and extra limes. I did not get chile verde salsa but what I got was their red and habanero salsas. I also did not get any limes at all. And the gorditia was made of chicken and not beef. Not sure if this is a Grubhub error or the restaurant's error but from what I understand, when you place an order through Grubhub it goes straight to the restaurant. Anyway, the food I did received was pretty good. Just wish the order was correct.

Yelp
Ochoa's is among the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. There's an Express grill tucked behind the restaurant open on the weekends - will order from there next time! The aqua de fresca juice are so good! The redeeming factor of ordering inside the restaurant is eyeing the horchata and fresh juices. After placing my food order, the large pitcher of mango aqua de fresca juice caught my eye and looked so temping. Glad I went for it and snagged a cup! So sweet and refreshing, perfect for the summer. The fajitas missed the mark. While the grilled peppers and onions were tasty, the overstuffed fajita was greasy and smothered in cheese and fell apart. The side of of sad brownish guac along with the bland rice and refried beans didn't do much for me. While I hate wasting food, my stomach started churning and threw in the towel 2/3 of the way while hubby was defeated by the super cheesy chicken enchilada after a few bites. We were both pretty bloated afterwards. The house-made nachos were lightly salted and tasty, they were the best part of our meal! Wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu, veggie nachos would be great! Seems like casual is the way to go as there was a steady line forming at the express grill. Will skip the restaurant and head straight over to the grill and try the veggie tacos and ask about the aqua de fresca - next time!

Yelp
Date night! Ochoa's was Recommended by some Arizona folks, so ya know this Az girl had to give it a shot! This restaurant is tucked away in DT Hillsboro , pulling up it felt like this was going to be a treat of authentic Mexican food. My tummy was growling with hunger excitement! There are pictures of each plated option on the wall where you walk up and place your order, this was a win for me as the items are listed in Spanish , which unfortunately I did not do so well in my Spanish classes in Jr high ! My dinner partner in crime went for the super taco plate and OMG! This plate had street tacos , crunchy tacos , rolled tacos and the garnish to compliment! The meat was tender , flavorful and they were heavily ( perfectly) loaded with asada! Definitely not a let down and I would say very easily that this could be a shared plate! I went with the Asada wet burro , this was not all tortilla as I thought at first! That big burro was loaded with the asada and rice! The red sauce on top was perfectly flavored , not spicy but not bland! As with the taco plate my meat was very flavorful and scrumptious! I was ready to get a sloppy and ask for more red sauce .. but I was going in deep eating that burro! The plate came with rice and beans as well. Another tasty win was the salsa served with the plates , now that was spicy!! And I loved it! Naturally we had to tame our taste buds and wet our throats with a classic cola in a bottle , the only way to have one! Annnd a refreshing Dos Equis! Restaurant was tidy , service was good and quick! Plenty of seating so bring the family , friends your work crew and fill those bellies up! I would definitely come back if I make another trip to Oregon! Ready , set ,go! Enjoy!!

Yelp
If you're craving the authentic taste of Mexican food... this is the spot! We tried a few things at the Hillsboro farmers market when Ochoa's had a booth set up a while back. I've passed by this location several times but haven't made it in. It's located in Downtown Hillsboro and I really dislike driving on one way streets so I always miss it, but not today! I eagerly made that turn into the driveway, hungry and not in a hurry to peruse the large menu for the perfect items to satisfy my hankering for good authentic Mexican food. I was in search of a special item that reminded me of my grandmother and my childhood. I found it and settled on the Gorditas. Let me just tell you...it made me very happy to savor these delicate but sturdy enough to hold the beans, carne asada, sour cream, lettuce, tomato and topped with cojita cheese stuffed cornmeal pockets. The best way to describe a Gordita is that it's a fried sope (cornmeal) that puffs up to a fat (Gordita) little pocket (like a pita) but made of cornmeal. So deliciously chewy, crispy and still light and not greasy. Sprinkle your choice of sauce inside and go to town! My mouth is watering just describing this again to you! My husband was craving crunchy tacos and those hit the spot for him as well. They did put a small layer of beans at the bottom of his tacos. The meat (carne Asada) was flavored great. $12.00 for a plate of 3 Gordita's or 4 hard (Dorado)tacos. I enjoyed a Horchata and hubby had a Jarritos Tamarindo bottled soda. I honestly feel like I would drive the one way streets that I despise again knowing that the end game was Ochoa's!

Yelp
Pretty good food! I've ordered here a few times and really enjoy their burritos. I will definitely be trying a few more things on the menu. I usually order takeout but I'd love to eat there because it looks like a cool spot.

Lou L.

Yelp
Super disappointed with my visit here this evening. My tamales were cold. Straight from the fridge to my plate. The lid to my Champurrado looked as though someone took a drink out of it. When the woman brought my mothers plate of food out, I ask for a box and she sighed then rolled her eyes! What the actual F man! LOL She didn't say one word then walked away. She never did bring a us a to-go box. I don't know what the hell was up with this place but we will not be back. The guacamole was good. That's is all.

Chepito S.

Yelp
They never have Mexican condiments for what they sale, they are kinda rude when asking about service on the table and too noisy for a restaurant

NIcholas B.

Yelp
Great sauce and authentic Mexican food at a great price. Been going here for years since I was young and never disappointed!

Marysol L.

Yelp

Rachel Y.

Yelp
I love tacos, but this place made me fell in love even more. I've tried al pastor, asada, and lengua from there. Every bite was juicy and very flavorful. Their tortillas are also very soft and not dry. A lot of taco places either gives me dry meat or tortillas, making me want to drench my tacos in sauce. Instead, this place gave me a whole plate of toppings where I drench my tacos with onions and cilantros (absolutely love it and I feel healthier :) ) I can go on and on about how amazing, delicious, and authentic this place is. But you just got to come try it for yourself.

Hersh J.

Yelp
The tacos here were some of the best dishes I've ever eaten despite having lived in LA and California for much of my life.

Tony M.

Yelp
Been going here for years! And today we ordered chilaquiles and everything on the order was wrong. We also ordered a champurrado that was filled half way literally. We called to complain and the lady working there stated that they filled it up to what the "medium" size was. I get this drink once a week. This cup is filled to the rim every time so why would that change all of the sudden. If they didn't have enough for this size they should have just said so and not let us order it. The lady was adamant that we would not get a credit for the drink. The fact that she argued was infuriating. I have been a customer for a long time. This experience will definitely be changing that.

Aaron M.

Yelp
Alright friends. Taquerias are definitely my thing. I love street tacos! There price, ease and general deliciousness. But don't get it twisted, not all tacos are equal. Asada here, carnitas there, lengua over there, etc... Taqueria Hermanos Ochoa by far has the best selection highest quality tacos I've enjoyed in the entire metro area. Carne asada, carnitas and al pastor we're all incredibly on point. Just the right grease and no gristle anywhere. Cooked to perfection with excellent flavor. Good carrots and salsas too! Con provecho!

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Ok so this review is for a restaurant/taco truck that serves many people and many different dishes. With that being said the food is ok! I don't usually expect anything mind blowing from these types of restaurants because it's not that type of place. They have decent food at a decent price that gets you full. I don't like the meats so I ordered cheese and onion red enchiladas. Nothing fancy but pretty good. My husband and sons like this place because they like big portions which you get. I'm more of the quality of food and taste person. Service was great, always friendly. They are always busy when we go so it's hard to find a clean table but simply ask for them to wipe it down and they will accommodate.

Baltazar R.

Yelp
GREAT FOOD IN A SAD PLACE Really AUTHENTIC Mexican food. The LARGE MENU has more options than any other #Mexican restaurant I've been to in Oregon. There's sitting inside (For about 80 people) and outside (For about 30 people) in two different buildings and there's a grill on the weekends where you can get your grilled chicken or tacos directly from the chef. Sadly, this place suffers from LACK OF ATTENTION FROM MANAGEMENT/owners. You can tell by the old surveillance camera looking at the wall for months, the old TVs full of dust on top, the bathrooms with graffiti, the tables not having enough nor even chairs, a set of 5 super cold booths by the windows with no air conditioning, chips not getting replenished on time, the list goes on and is long. SERVICE is also a reflection of lack of attention: Mechanized, SLOW, NOT FRIENDLY. Thankfully, the authenticity of the food is not only reflected on the large menu but in its taste. All the dishes we've tried are DELICIOUS! They come served not only with good rice and beans but with a grilled pepper and guacamole, avocado or whatever the dish needs to be garnished with. We'll come back until we find another authentic option with better service and atmosphere, which shouldn't be hard. #ruizmedina

Tom A.

Yelp
This place shouldn't be called a restaurant, it's more of a food truck with indoor seating. You order up at a counter and the menu is posted on the wall. I think it's best coming here in the summertime when there's seating outside and an extra building for service. The food was very good, my friend and I enjoy the dishes. He had a combo platter of three different meats and he loved it. He even brought some home for dinner. I had several tacos and they were all enjoyable. The one that rocked my world was the shrimp. It was absolutely great!

Charlie T.

Yelp
I missed eating here as I haven't worked in the area in years. This place has since of the best tacos and reasonably priced. We ordered some food from their outdoor section where you can see them freshly preparing the food. The tacos have slightly went up in price, but still super reasonable. We ordered a breakfast burrito, chicken quesadilla, a couple of carne asada and pastor tacos, a quarter chicken that was on the grill. I must say that the food was delicious and we devoured it. The grilled chicken had some really good flavors. The breakfast burrito alone should be enough to fill you up. The tacos were very flavorful. Everything we had was good.

Rowena P.

Yelp
This place is disgusting. For starters, as soon as I walked in I could see how dirty it is. There was trash on the floor, dirty tables & ect, but I was willing to give it a try anyhow because since moving from California I haven't had much luck finding authentic Mexican food. I ordered the chile relleno with an horchata & my sister ordered two barbacoa tacos with an orders of chips, salsa, & guacamole on the side. We ordered, paid for our food, & sat down at a dirty, unwashed, broken table. My food arrived first. We waited another 10 minutes before going up and asking about my sisters food. My first bite of the refried beans was..sour! I immediately knew the beans were spoiled. I cut into the chile relleno and it was uncooked and doughy. My sister had one bite of her tacos and said it lacked flavor. Even the chips, salsa, & guacamole were awful. The horchata was chalky. We decided to just get up and leave without eating any of it. We literally walked across the parking lot to Peppers and had a much better experience. We will never be returning to this establishment. I'm surprised they even pass a health inspection. This is not representative of Mexican food at all. I wouldn't be surprised if people get sick from this place. Ugh.

Diego V.

Yelp
40 minutes to bring out food, called many people ahead of me and didn't receive food until I went to ask.

Leslie C.

Yelp
I've eaten at Ochoas once and I'll never eat there again my mom and her boyfriend ordered tacos from them one night and brought them home to enjoy them we never got the chance to enjoy them when my mom's boyfriend took a bite of his taco he noticed there was something crawling it turned out it was a cockroach he almost ate he was so disgusted me and my mom ended up throwing the tacos in the trash we will definitely not be going back to Ochoas

Greg M.

Yelp
I only order TACOS the first time I try a new place. This way I can sample the meats they offer. I generally get 1 taco for each meat choice except tripe and lengua. All the meat was delicious. Cant even pick a favorite. I felt I was back in Mexico visiting a street vendor ordering food. So authentic. The wife was skeptical...But not for long. One bite and that was all she needed to know. Our girls loved the Chiro's. Who wouldnt! It was not fast service. BUT when the food is that good who cares. Quality takes time!

Cathy S.

Yelp
I used to volunteer at the Hillsboro Farmers Market and always got the super tacos at their food stall there. It always hit the spot with the salsa selection and that 1 perfect scoop of guacamole! Came here for dinner on a Friday night and it's fairly busy. The menu has numbers and with pictures so that was super helpful as neither of us understand Spanish. He got the Burrito Souza ($9) and I got a steak and shrimp fajita plate ($10) basically (not sure what the actual name was) You order at counter and pay and get a number slip, then they bring the food out to you. There is a salsa and chip bar where you can get your own chips and have a few different salsa to choose from for free. Food came out fairly quickly and it was a lot! (We had leftovers for a whole other meal!) The burrito was FILLED with chicken and covered in cheese and sauce! My steak was very flavorful and the shrimp was very fresh! It came with 6 little flour tortillas to wrap everything in and it was the perfect combination with the rice and refried beans. Now, there are some issues I wanted to address as well. The restaurant is located on a one-way street, so it's a little hard to navigate the correct way to go in and out. The other thing is the parking lot is a bit small and dark (to be fair it was dark and rainy when we went) The other weird thing is the way the restaurant is set up. The entrance is clear from the parking lot but once you go in, it's just a hallway with a few booths until you keep going into the main area on your right. It felt a little weird going back out to the parking lot bc we were walking through the booths again to go out but it felt like you were going more "in" the restaurant....But I think there was another entrance too? Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place for food! It's bomb!

Chris M.

Yelp
Only been there once, but it wasn't a good experience. They seem to be very popular, and we're very busy. I picked up a few items and brought them home. Whatever was going on with the food it didn't fair well with the wife or I. We both ended up with Montezuma's revenge. Not sure if I will return or not.

Shauna F.

Yelp
Love this place. The food is great (lots to choose from), nice service, and they have a serve yourself chips and salsa station. You order at a counter and they bring the food to you. My coworkers love this place as well

ImaYelper Y.

Yelp
If you've never been to a Mexican border town and want to know what it's like then visit this place and sit inside. The flies buzzing from table to dirty table and the eighties feel on top of filthy floors that don't get swept often remind me of a trip to Nogales. The pork was good but it's hard to consume the food that comes from a dirty truck and those same flies that are probably back there doing the taste tests. Peppers is a few feet away food is good and they are clean.

Leigh W.

Yelp
The Posole was great--delicious flavors and lots of ingredients and extras--and the service excellent. The prices were a little high but not bad considering how big the portion was. I had enough left over for another meal. On the minus side, it was extremely noisy. Between a large dinner party and the TV, the room was pretty loud.

John K.

Yelp
I really enjoy the food here. My only complaint is...they ALWAYS mess up my wife's order. Literally every time. I'm not sure if it's a language issue, or if it's just loud and they can't hear well, but there's always something messed up.

Kaylee S.

Yelp
I don't normally like writing reviews but this one kinda sucked because I hyped this place up to my partner after he had tried my al pastor taco's from last time I ordered them only to be met with this incident. Well, we went there to introduce him to the place and they got both our taco orders wrong with meat we did not ask for. I ordered al pastor and we got two orders of chicken, one shredded and the other not shredded but still chicken? Did not get the condiments we asked for on them like cheese, which they have always added when asked in the past, nor did we get any sauce provided. This place has always been really great to go to, but trying to introuce it to someone new...And they gave me the worst experience I've had yet. Now I know to always check my food bag before leaving the establishment...

Gary B.

Yelp
Picked up some food here, since when does a new Ivan restaurant charge $0.50 per salsa container? No signs posted about it, and I watched as other customers ordered food and were not charged a dime for salsa. Hen after paying for it they didn't even include the salsa in my order and I had to wait in line to ask for it. Especially irks me after paying a buck for something that is free at mostcifcnotcall Mexican restaurants. If that wasn't enough, the salsa containers they give are not even half full. A tip to management: if you are going to charge for salsa AT LEAST make sure the containers are full. Disgusting. Don't waste your money hero they'll rip you off of you are not Hispanics.

Tina Z.

Yelp
This is one place that follows the quote 'don't judge a book by its cover'. The inside and outside is a little run down, but the food is great and all decently priced! I got the combo 1, which comes 2 enchiladas, 2 tacos as well as rice and beans. All for under $10. I mean.. there aren't many places out there anymore that can offer that much food for under $10. Great salsas too!

Eric J.

Yelp
La señora me quería robar seis dólares eres pendeja puro ediotas Los que trabajan ahí tan siquiera no es tu dinero pendeja... pinché gorda

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and I've yet to be disappointed by anything I've had. Tacos are delicious (asada, lengua, tripe, chicken were all bomb) and the burrito plate was more than filling. Quite possibly the best Mexican food I've ever had!! Prices are very reasonable and the service is quick. The place could use help in the cleaning department in regards to tabletops as it's not the cleanest but I'm willing to overlook it as the food is BOMB. Salsas are all delicious and each has the perfect amount of spice and flavor to it. Seriously can't rave about this place enough, if you're in the area, you gotta stop by!

Nithin J.

Yelp
Had their food during Hillsboro Tuesday night market around summer. Kept going back for take out when I'm around Hillsboro

Yelp
This place has been open FOREVER. I remember eating their Torta De La Casa when I was a kid. It was always huge and left overs for days, it felt like. I ordered from DoorDash from here a few times, including tonight and it continues to be great. Our order tonight included : 1 barbacoa taco 1 carnita taco 1 torta carnita I torta need/asada 1 quesadilla Side of guacamole There was 3 of us home and it was by far enough food and huge portions. We have leftovers now Less than $35 not including the drivers tip. (2 Thumbs up)

Steve V.

Yelp
Service: quick and easy Atmosphere: clean, organized, a mix of people. FOOD: Although it was "lunch", I'm a sucker for breakfast burritos. So when I asked if I could still get one, she simply asked "chorizo or bacon". For my first time coming here I had to try their chorizo. If that's solid, I'll come back for the bacon one. (I'll give you a hint, it was solid.) The next time I'm in Hillsboro I'll be sure to try the bacon.

Yelp
Bought a Gordita for 4 dollars, it was the smallest size. opened a third of it and put meat only on that third part. So upset I could have paid the same amount at another place for a good size Gordita that was actually worth that price. As far as prices you pay $30 for chicken, really. I thought 21 was expensive. Good luck

Yelp
Wow this place was very good and a great value .. I used to come here just to get take out tamales on the weekends but glad I stopped in for some lunch ... the special #1 was the perfect combo if you can't decide between tacos and enchiladas .. I also saw a super taco combo that's probably what I'm getting next time !

Yelp
This place is so good and the prices are reasonable. You can get carnitas for 5.99/lb or you can get 2 lbs of carnitas with all the sides for $20. Pazole for $11 that is great. You can't go wrong here.

Yelp
I've had their tacos in the past and they are pretty good. Today I ordered huevos rancheros and they were absolutely disgusting. Three over cooked eggs with a little bit of red sauce, some nasty rice and some beans. It was dog shit on a plate. Very disappointing

Yelp
This Mexican restaurant is the best I have ever been to, it has great food and the area isn't that bad. The food tastes really great, the quesadilla is really great with whatever meat option you choose it with, the Mexican burger is a must have for anyone confused on why a burger is on a Mexican menu, it has ham and fresh beef. Before you get your food they have good tasting salted chips and salsa you can serve yourself. Also free refills! I'm giving this restaurant a 4 star only because it could use a little bit of work, first the bathrooms in the restaurant are very run down and feel very cold and awkward, the set up for the tables are a little weird but who cares, I wish walking into it didn't feel so tight.

Yelp
Found this place thanks to Yelp! The crunchy fish tacos were delicious! Also highly recommend the burritos as well. A meal in itself! Excellent guacamole as well. Would definitely go out of my way to eat here again especially if you love authentic and tasty Mexican food!
