This place is a fantastic Georgian restaurant! 🇬🇪 Oda House in Brooklyn 🗽 serve an amazing selection of delicious 🤤 dishes 🍽️ - definitely get the Adjaruli Khachapuri (cheese 🧀 boat ⛵ bread 🍞 with egg 🥚 yolk and butter 🧈) and the Mushroom 🍄 Khinkali (soup 🍲 dumplings 🥟) with Sour Cream! 🥛 The Georgian Mule 🫏 Cocktail 🥃 is also great and is made with Vodka 🍸 made from grapes. 🍇 Staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and welcoming, the place is beautifully decorated 🛋️, they had live music 👩‍🎤, and the ambience 🎶 is great! I wish I came here sooner and more often!

Reasonably priced and very good food. I loved the traditional beef soup. The flavor was excellent. The dumplings were good and the walnut salad was soooo tasty! I want to eat that all the time. Wow. Thank you for a very nice lunch experience!

The service was not great. We constantly had to ask the servers for something. Unlike other "Russian" restaurants in the area, they don't even go arround helping distribute the food to the guests. If you are considering this place for a banquet, I think you will be disappointed. Most other Russian restaurants do a better job.

My husband and I visited Oda House - Sheepshead Bay on a Saturday during the early afternoon. The restaurant was quiet with maybe 5-6 full tables. The main room was dimly lit and had chandeliers and a bar. The ambiance was overall pleasant and common to the vibe of the other restaurants in the area. We were promptly greeted and given tablets to order from. Our waiter was pleasant and helpful. We order a few dishes including the famous Georgian bread with egg and cheese. This was served nice and fresh and tasted great! It was very rich. We also ordered the baked eggs. A very hearty meal again and tasted good. We shared an order of the special dumplings which tasty as well. All in all, we had a nice time. We will be back!

Food was great except adzhika that came with kebab it didn't smell fresh to me. Salad with walnuts and lamb was delicious! Service was ok as I had to ask couple time some things. Atmosphere is very cozy, I would come back sometime.

This restaurant just recently opened, and already you need a reservation. The space is small, all the tables are placed very close to each other--get cozy next to your neighbor. Call in advance to reserve a table. Only a few tables for two are available. Mostly tables for groups of 4-6. The service was superb. Waiters were accommodating and courteous. The manager circulates the floor and makes sure you are doing well. We changed our seat thrice, because of the draft from the door, and we were accommodated in our request. Live music available on some Saturdays--piano and guitar player. Classy music playing in the background at all other times. The ambiance is classy and cozy. Crystal chandeliers, piano in the corner, electric fireplace, dimmed lighting,--everything to justify you paying Manhattan prices for the meal you are about to enjoy. Full bar available on premises. Alcohol is on the expensive side--$19 per glass of red wine. Manhattan prices. The menu is very extensive--we took our time deciding what to try on our first visit. Definitely hoping to return to taste more of the delicious items. $19 Megruli was divine--one of the best khachapuri I've ever had, and I've tried quite an extensive number. Super cheesy and gooey. Perfect for a cold night's meal. The portion is great for sharing. Very salty, due to suluguni cheese, so prepare to drink tons of water afterwards. $31 lamb Apkhazura was superb. The portion looks small but it will fill you up. The intestine stuffed with minced lamb + herbs was bursting with flavor. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The herbs did magic to highlight the flavors of the lamb. Definitely try this. $32 Oda House Special - Salmon and mushrooms was delicious. Delicate and flavorful salmon. Mashed potatoes were a bit dry and bland. Tomatoes were out of season, so they were expectedly tasteless and hard. $10 for a tiny pot of tea is overpriced, but that is the reality of beverages. Be aware that a $3.5% credit card fee will be applied if you are paying with card, so bring cash to avoid this useless waste of money.

When Oda House was still in it's original location in the East Village it was my favorite restaurant for Georgian food. Been there SO MANY times and used to throw my birthday parties there too. With their new location on Emmons I HAD to try it. Honestly, I was not impressed. Yes, the food is good there's no doubt about that. Prices are insanely high and the service was sloppy. For four people the bill was $300. Crazy crazy crazy. We had the Georgian salad with walnuts, pkhali trio, lamb khinkhali, kharcho, an adjaruli khachapuri as well as a penovani khachapuri, the Oda House special salmon (this was my all time favorite dish in the East Village), mtsvadi, and some wine and cocktails. Like I said, I can't really criticize the food much. It's good. I remembered the salmon being better in the city location. However, for the price you can get the same things at plenty of other Brooklyn locations. Also, they overcharged us for a drink we didn't order. The waiters took forever to come to our table/check on us, some of the food arrived before the drinks, when they brought out our bottle of wine they didn't bring any wine glasses...you get the point. I get that they're new and probably are still ironing it all out but it was annoying. What was nice is that they have some live music on Saturday nights. Make a reservation, it gets busy. Would I come back? Unsure. I can definitely get my Georgian fix elsewhere for half the cost. Oda House is more upscale so perhaps save it for a special occasion.

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon and had a fine dinner. The food is authentically Georgian and very tasty. The menu is expansive, the service was fine, and two young women came in to provide music that was much more pleasant than the generic dance club rock dominating many restaurants today.

Food is delicious! The service is absolutely terrible! Sunday around 4pm. No customers here. Just us party of 4. Staff is sitting around. We wait 20 minutes to order food. No one checks how we are doing. We ran out of water. No one came over to bring more water. My aunt had to grab my glass and drink my water! They will most definitely require a 18% tip on top of the bill. If tip is optional I would leave 5%! My advice to ownership is to start understanding that we live in America and customer service is important! This isn't Russia, Ukraine, or Georgia where it's custom to be an ignorant jerk to your customers! I will never come back here again!

Food is good, but the service was horrible, we couldn't get waiters' attention when we wanted to order, to ask questions when one of the dishes will be ready, ask for more water, order dessert (so we didn't), ask for receipt. The restaurant is decorated really nicely. It is important to highlight that I was there one year ago, and the service was on a high level.

Lovely ambiance, live music, great georgian food. It is not low price but every time I in it's someone in this restaurant the impression was pleasant. Staff is calm and collected. Love this place.

New place on Emmons, Georgian Cousine. I'll start with the interiors. I think they relied on the very busy and popular geo location and put a lot of tables, thinking they would be very busy and so they can accommodate many customers. The tables are very close to each other , very uncomfortable. So we went on Saturday, which is always busy day for restaurants. The place was empty. The service was not good. The girl was rushing all the time, making us very uncomfortable. The good thing they would bring food pretty fast. Now the most important part- the food. We love Georgian food for its rich and savory spices and aromas. This one was such a DISAPPOINTMENT. Very plain, not tasty at all, no flavor. My lamb was so rubbery!!! Horrible. And the portions are small, not for sharing, and prices are high. We are definitely NOT coming back and NOT recommending the place. Very sad.

Waaaay Overpriced. NOT WORTH THE VISIT. They want to get rich quick with fancy decor. No wonder they've steadily declined in ratings over last year. There are plenty of much better and more reasonable places to indulge in Georgian cuisine all around brooklyn and even Manhattan. People are not stupid.

This used to be a good restaurant. But my second visit today left our whole party of 5 with a bad taste in our mouths. The food was good but the service was awful. How do you manage to bring a 8 fl oz bottled water for a party of 5? Why bring bread when entrees have almost been finished? Moreover, even if you are imposing an automatic gratuity of 18%, why isn't the credit card owner signing to authorize this charge? Our entire lunch was spent asking (3x or more) to provide a basic level of service that we still were charged an UNDESERVED 18% gratuity for. They weren't even busy. There were 3 tables including ours! Disappointing. Edit: I just looked over our receipt and it seems we were overcharged by an extra entree that we never ordered. (Brooklyn location)

2 star, just because the interior is pretty descent, but this is a Georgian cuisine so we have to rate the food and service. 1st- the staff is not friendly, showing their attitude, do not want make their brain work and accommodate the guests, tables are super close to each other. 2- We've been in all Georgian restaurants in the area and close by. This one the most expensive, the food is not even OK comparing to other places and the staff is not friendly.

I do not recommend. the restaurant is located at the entrance. Parking is like everywhere else. interior, simple, no frills. medium-sized hall, you can even dance a little if a small company. Food. Well, as in the dining room. Cook, 3 points. There are no specialties in the dishes. You don't have to go to a restaurant to eat this quality food. sorry for the money spent. The waiter, in general, showed himself as a person who simply takes out food. Recommend that either can not or does not want to. Dinner for two without alcohol $150 - too expensive for such a vague place. Coming back a second time - definitely not!

It was our first time at this charming place. We had an hour to kill before the show and sat by the bar for a quick drink. Our bartender was the nicest guy and made the best margaritas ever. I think his name was Gila. Can't wait to go back!!

Food was so so, service is ok, but... Ordered drink, paid by card 12 bucks, then checked online and was astonished! Bartender took 15 dollars instead of 12! Its very bad! I understand it's hard time for businesses, but steel money from customers? Never come again!

Sunday evening party here. We closed the entire restaurant. Ambience was ok. There were only 2 waiters working the entire restaurant. Everything went very slow. Food -we had banquet menu- oh my god- I'm still eating salt on my mouth hours after I left the place. Almost everything was over salted. Very few dishes were fresh. The 3 good options- blintzes / caviar, and bread w/ the cheese and mushroom julienne. Everything else I couldn't eat. Waste of a lot of money. Never coming back again. I'm sorry to post a bad review: I look at other reviewers and I definitely didn't have that experience.

Came here a total of about 3 times. The first time when they first opened the service and food was phenomenal. However the last two times I went I was disappointed and I could not justify paying the price I did. The cheese boats were undercooked, I had to hunt down the waiter for my check, and the bread was stale. The borsche was good but first time it was much better. The ambiance is on par and the music is lovely but cannot justify paying Manhattan prices.

I have been to the upper east side location in the past and thoroughly enjoyed. We were very excited that one opened in Brooklyn so decided to take my parents there. The food was very good however we found the experience overall unpleasant due to the host/ waitress. We made a reservation for 5 on Sunday evening and asked if 3 more could possibly Join us when we got there. She very rudely said no that they were booked up. Okay no problem - we did not push further. For the 2 hours that were there more than 50% of the restaurant was unoccupied. She also rushed us to order in the beginning, was rude to my father when he asked about wine and then completely ignored our table for the rest of the evening. I feel the food was also pretty overpriced for what it is (260$ for 5 and we did not order any mains) and our bill came out with a 20% service charge already tacked on. While the food was good we will not return due to the service. There is a plethora of food options in our area, most with better attitudes and reasonable pricing.

Amazing!! The service was terrific, everyone was super friendly. The place was very neat and cleanly. I'm not familiar with Georgian food but thankfully the waitress gave some wonderful suggestions on what to get. Everything was very unique and delicious, definitely will go again.

I have never had Georgian food before. This spot was a very good introduction to it. Live music, great service and a very homey feeling. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone. One thing I will say is that it is expensive. Keep that in mind.

When In Brooklyn, Oda is a must! Gela makes outstanding drinks and the food is delicious. Definitely going to be back!

Quite disappointing, but not a disaster. Our main dishes were oversalted to the point of being barely edible. But the khachapuri was really good. And generally the service was slow and inattentive, but the bartender went out of his way to help us.

The people that work here are very nice; but the food is really not good! The hachipuri is good otherwise i would never come back! It's overpriced food that's really not great at all!!!

Do not even waste your time! Food is average but extremely over priced! There's no reason to charge $40 for one kebab! Or $400+ for only salads and a few appetizers! The servers are polite but the owner is a very different story!! We called ahead when we made the reservation to make sure we can bring our own bottles for the dinner party and when it came time after the first bottle, our bottles were held hostage. We were told that we can only have one of our own bottles and we would have to purchase one from the bar at a 200% up charge. PLUS A $60 CORKING FEE FOR ONE BOTTLE!!! It's not worth the hassle at all and now my father in laws birthday is ruined! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

It is a nice environment. You find there somewhat exotic food. However, they need some time to learn how to better cook! This area is very competitive, so it will make them to improve.

Overall, my experience here was subpar. I've been to the Oda House on the Upper East Side, and my opinion still stands that the food is certainly not as great as true Georgian food can be, and is EXTREMELY overpriced (who ever heard of $19 khachapuri???). Additionally, the staff mixed up several components of our orders, including omitting certain side dishes and bring us those that we did not ask for. The location, while on beautiful Emmons Avenue, is located essentially in a basement and leaves much to be desired. I have so much else to say about the owners of the restaurant and their horrendous attitude, but I will refrain. Save yourself the trip and go to Argo on Kings Highway - you will be treated like family, will receive the most delicious Georgian food, and won't have to sell an arm and a leg for it.

Food was excellent. We had the appetizer platter, soup, salmon main, adjaruli - would recommend them all. Cozy, warm ambience. Service was appropriate and relaxed. My personal preference is more European style service where you do not feel rushed.

Went to this spot with the family. The food was ok. I did like their georgian dumplings. The service was none existent. Waiters were not friendly and completely ignored us. The decor is nice but again the service was one of the worst I experienced in many years.

Noting to write home about. The food is ok, but the prices are astronomical. Not worth the spent. For the four of us the bill was over 300, and that didn't include main course. The portions were also small. There were lots of charges including a 20% tip for a mediocre service and over $10 in credit card fees among the most expensive pitcher of juice I've ever had $18 which was more then vodka. Not a returning customer !!

It's the first time I try Georgian food. Amazing experience and Amazing place. Food is delicious and this restaurant interior is right out of a magazine. If you are looking for organic food, this is the right place. I had the Chicken Wrap by Maya. OMG It was awesome. Wonderful food, staff & atmosphere. You don't need anything else for a good time here & I can't wait to come back.

Maybe the Manhattan location has better food, or maybe Manhattanites do not have as much of a choice of Georgian restaurants are Brooklynites do, but Oda was nothing special. Starting with the decor-Georgian culture has a relaxed, friendly vibe. Here, the place is dark as a dungeon, and the chairs are super uncomfortable. The service tries, but misses, a simple request took 3 servers and 20 minutes to procure. The food is just OK, nothing to rave about, not better than other cheaper Georgian eateries nearby. A huge plus, though, is that the menu is clearly marked in terms of vegan and gluten free, and the large availability of such items for those who need them is astonishing. I don't know if I would return, though, as there are other options nearby.

I've been at the place twice. The first time I had sturgeon which was absolutely outstanding. The second time when I was there, there was no sturgeon. Their wine is still very good. I had pork shish kebab which was good but not out of this world. Natalie.

Worst place I have been too. The food was alright, not horrible. But the OWNER has to be one of the most inconsiderate people I have encountered. Has no respect for his customers or if his customers have allergies. I understand money is important for a business , but no way to act the way he did and everyone should check their bills before paying to make sure they didn't overcharge or add anything extra. you're welcome!
