My wife and I came to Oda for our anniversary, and since it was our first time trying Turkish food, we really didn’t know what to expect but the whole experience honestly blew us away. The ambience, in general, was exactly what you want for a special night out: nicely lit, cozy, and welcoming. The staff were super attentive without ever feeling intrusive, which made the evening feel even more personal. We started with the falafel, and it was easily the best we’ve had: super authentic, perfectly seasoned, with great texture and crunch. For my main dish, I ordered the chashushuli, a moderately spicy beef stew served with mashed potatoes on the side. I love spicy food, and this had a great kick paired with amazing flavor. My wife had the shrimp à la marina and absolutely loved it. For dessert, we shared the kunefe, which takes about 15 minutes to bake, and it’s so worth the wait. I’m not usually a fan of overly sweet desserts, but this was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with ingredients combined in a way I never would’ve thought of on my own. Overall, it was an incredible anniversary dinner and an amazing introduction to Turkish cuisine. We’d definitely recommend coming here!

Celebrated our daughters birthday here with three generations. Lovely interior with rich wood and high ceilings. Our party of seven was seated at a table in the middle of the room. Our waiter was very gracious, paced the meal well, and was very attentive. Our water glasses were kept full by another serving attendant. I questioned the family-style suggestion as it would change how we would order. As many were not dining this evening in the restaurant with it being Thanksgiving Eve, the kitchen could accommodate individual dishes. We started with Mixed Appetizer Platter. The babaganoush was the best I’ve ever had. I also really enjoyed the ezme which was a great balance of sweet and spice. We appreciated the plentiful pita for our group size. We had the sigara boregi - it came with four pieces. Very cheese forward. I loved my cocktail which I believe was called Fall Back in Love. The fig garnish was fun although we thought it looked like a cube of meat at first LOL Everyone loved their entrees and we all got something different. Short ribs, Turkish meatballs, the combo platter, shrimp, the stew, and my bread boat. I apologize for not typing out all the traditional names. The stew came highly recommended. It was served extraordinarily temperature hot but once cooled, the flavor was robost with a pleasant sleeper spice - one that accumulates and lingers - all in a good way. I had the bread boat (oda adjaruli khachapuri). My daughter shared a meatball with me. I feel an order of the meatballs with this entree would be a perfect pairing. The only disappointment was we had no room for dessert!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Oda on Clark is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.. you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff all always friendly and attentive. What a great experience!

Seriously the best hummus I’ve ever had. So smooth and flavorful. We got the combo plate too and it was super filling and delicious. Alec was our server and he was awesome — really friendly and on point. Definitely coming back

Google
What a hidden gem! Normally I don't bother with reviews but wow! Blown away with how delicious & fresh everything was- we had shared the atom (light yogurt dip which i couldn't stop eating!), dolma, oda salad, & sigara boregi (feta & spinach rolls) as starters and honestly everything was a symphony of amazing food! For my main dish I had the roasted ribs which fell off the bone & melted in my mouth & for dessert a kunefe (shredded phyllo, honey, cheese, cream & walnuts)- everything was incredible, the staff was so kind & attentive, and couldn't have asked for a better meal! Thank you so much for the great evening & I will be dreaming of that dessert until the next time!!

Google
I had a fantastic dinner experience here! We started with the Mediterranean appetizer platter—it was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. For the main course, we shared the lamb, veggie moussaka, and sultan’s delight—a delightful mix of Turkish and Georgian flavors that truly impressed us. To finish, we enjoyed a dessert called Künefe, made with crisp layers of shredded phyllo, melted baby mozzarella, and honey, served with a scoop of ice cream—it was warm, gooey, and absolutely delicious. Alek and Jose went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service, making the evening even more memorable. If you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and enjoy a charming, beautifully designed atmosphere, I highly recommend this place.

Google
What a great restaurant! The dishes are prepared with such care and intelligence. I loved the beautiful ceramic bowl used for the imam bayildi (which is incredible). We enjoyed Berk, our friendly waiter, who gave excellent food and wine suggestions. The atmosphere is so pleasant and inviting, the evening felt like a little trip to Europe. We hope to return next time we visit Chicago. Highly recommended!

Google
A great place to spend time with friends and family. The food is absolutely delicious - 10/10! The people are very nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere always feels good. One of our favorite places, and we’ll definitely keep coming back 😊

Yelp
Came for dinner. Our family shared pita and hummus to start, which was the best I've ever had. The pita was fresh and soft, and the hummus was creamy. So much of the menu appealed to me, and I don't go out for Mediterranean often, so it was super difficult to choose a meal (family style would have been ideal but with Mediterranean we couldn't have more diverse preferences). So I ended up opting for two small/lighter dishes to have my own tasting: the mini eggplant roulades and soup (I tried to order the chicken meatball on the menu, but they only had butternut squash). The mini eggplant roulades were just DEVINE. So unique and so fresh. The soup was really good - since it wasn't on the menu I had no description when ordering - it ended up having some curry spice which isn't my favorite (specifically cumin) but still enjoyed it. Our server was really friendly, originally from Turkey and was receptive to my parents' excitement over our upcoming trip to Istanbul. We weren't rushed on a weekend evening. The restaurant was really nice and pleasant atmosphere. A little more upscale than I was expecting. I would absolutely love to go back here and try more of the menu. Although I know the struggle would be real to not repeat the eggplant roulades.

Yelp
The ambiance was gorgeous . Old fashion was delicious Vegetarian plate spot on . They have so many options and happy hour on the patio only. Lovely patio area. Our server/bar tender made tremendous drinks that were tasty and worth every penny.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant on a whim while looking for places in Andersonville. The decor is dark and elegant, almost a steakhouse vibe. Service was prompt and friendly. Although the place is advertised as Mediterranean food, it's really Georgian. Everything we had was tasty. All our cocktails were all good, and so were the hummus and baba ghanoush starters. Our server recommended the Georgian cheese bread, which was delicious. Everyone also enjoyed the eggplant in red sauce and meat combo platter. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Fresh, sumptuous flavors and generous portions. We had fantastic drinks. They offered warm gluten free cornbread options to pita for my friend. The appetizer assortment platter was able to be customized. All our food was incredible. The server was a charming, very well trained waiter. We will be back! Love this place!

Yelp
YES YES YES!!! Oh my Oda was so amazing, the food was divine and the service was fantastic. The Adjaruli khachapuri (Georgian cheese and egg boat) was phenomenal. Even writing this review makes me want to go back and get another. The atom was so good as I love yogurt dips. This one had a kick of spice, but I wouldn't say it was too spicy at all. The meat in the sultans delight was fall apart to perfection. Lastly, the kunefe was just as I hoped it would be, and even the leftovers tasted good cold. The dim candlelight vibe made it classy and romantic. The servers were so kind and surprised me with a candle and treat on my birthday. I will be back soon and completely recommend it.

Yelp
I was excited to try this restaurant but it left me wanting more. We split the meat platter which was mostly good except the steak was overcooked. The dessert we order had too much cheese that it taste more cheesy than savory. Looks pretty though

Yelp
I had such an incredibly lovely meal here. Alec couldn't have been kinder and more solicitous; the interior is hip but neighborhood-friendly, the food is familiar but adventurous-adjacent. Ok, the food. Absolutely delicious and fresh and healthy and novel and made with care etc etc. This is a gem: they want you to love it, everything is superlative from service to food to atmosphere.

Yelp
I'm so mad that I haven't been here sooner!!!!!!!!!! The menu is nearly impossible- completely delicious and I wanted everything!! The chicken meatball soup was delicious and a very large portion. Lentil soup was tasty as well. The shepherd salad and falafels and Sigara Boregi were great. The ambiance is romantic and intimate, perfect for a date night. Service was attentive. I will be back. This is my new go-to Mediterranean spot in the neighborhood! So excited to spread the good word about ODA :)

Yelp
I love Oda. We have been there a few times now, always with 3-4 people. The staff is friendly and professional and very kind and thoughtful. The cooking is top notch and delicious. Alec our waiter, on this most recent visit was very attentive and helpful. The ambiance in the restaurant is beautiful and the seating is comfortable. This restaurant is high on my list when I am entertaining friends and family because the staff welcomes you like family, the food is fantastic and the space is relaxing and attractive. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had a delicious experience at Oda. Wonderful service from Alek and yummy food. Not your straight up Mediterranean - there are wonderful twists due to the Turkish and Georgian heritage. Too many things to choose from in the menu (a good problem to have). The chicken kabob was cooked perfectly, the hummus spiced with roasted garlic and delicious. One of my companions found the salmon to be the best he'd ever had. My salad was a little over dressed, so I would recommend asking for dressing in the side. The cocktails were fantastic. Dessert was served with a very aromatic tea that capped the evening. The restaurant is lovely but the music didn't really suit the ambiance- 80s pop was not quite the right choice. This is a small local business - throw them some love. It did look like some regulars were coming in. A good choice for the neighborhood!

Yelp
Fantastic spot with some really exceptional service. The food is serviceable. I'd go back but I'm not writing home about it. The beef was a bit overcooked and chewy with too much salt. But again, pretty solid as far as Chicago goes!

Yelp
Absolute find. surprised as I've passed this place 50 times and was missing out. Eggplant appetizer great, seared octopus great but the beef stew amazing. didn't hurt the drinks are boozy too:)

Yelp
This is a warm and welcoming space where we enjoyed happy hour pricing and gracious service. It's local for me, but worth the trip if you're looking for incredible hummus (among other yummy choices).

Yelp
There are many things to love about Oda. First off, the dining room is gorgeous yet comfortable, with a few large round booths that would be great for a larger party. I love that it's open a little later--until 10 or 11 (Fridays/Saturdays)--than most restaurants in the area, and we have always been warmly greeted even when stopping in for a late light dinner. Although the cuisine might be described as Georgian/Turkish comfort food, with some rich, decadent offerings, there has been a clear effort to include a variety of diets, and our servers have been knowledgeable about the menu. What's more, Oda offers more than one vegan main and several apps, sides, and salads, which makes me feel included rather than an after thought. I also truly appreciate having these wonderful options clearly labeled as vegan on the menu. The only thing I have been missing is the bean-filled khachapuri, which is sadly no longer on the menu. This huge, hot-from-the-oven, flaky bread was absolutely delicious and unlike anything I've ever had. I hope this item returns, even as a special. It would be reason enough to give Oda a try if you haven't already.

Yelp
Loved this place! The spicy hummus was so yummy and they had lots of vegetarian dishes. The service was very friendly and quick. Can't wait to come back!

Ryan S.

Yelp
The food was tasty and the menu offers gluten free options but I had some issues with my dinner. First, when I asked about gluten free options to come with the hummus (as pita is included) he said he could offer half pita and half of a GF cornbread -- which I said yes to and he offered to include some feta which I also said yes to. We were brought a full amount of pita and the hummus - great for my date! - and then 5-10 min later a full order of the cornbread and some slices of feta. This cornbread ended up on the check as $13, $7 more than the cornbread alone on the menu for 3 small slices of feta. Usually this wouldn't be enough for me to write a yelp review, but I also had an issue where their QR code directs me to an online menu and there is a link to view it as a PDF if you'd like. On the "gluten free" sub-page of the online menu my dish was $21. Apparently on the PDF (and on the standard "dinner" webpage?) it is $24 -- and that's what I was charged. I do appreciate that they have dining options for gluten free diners -- us mild celiac sufferers appreciate it! -- but their menus and their servers need to be more clear about pricing and fix discrepancies between the webpages and the PDFs as well. If you offer us a half/half accommodation for dips, you should not be charging another $13 without informing us, and you obviously need to ensure all your posted prices align.

Yelp
The food here is incredible. Like seriously, some of the best food I have had in the city. I've never had Georgian food before but wow. I was very impressed. I got the IMERULI KHACHAPURI (Georgian cheese filled bread) which was incredible. So warm and flake and pairs amazing with the CHASHUSHULI (Georgian moderately spicy beef stew). The Chashushuli was amazing, the beef was so tender and it had a nice spice to it! It went well with both mashed potatoes and rice! The service was okay. They were understaffed and my server forgot my Khachapuri until I reminded them but I totally understand because he was the only server to like 8 different tables. It was really dark in there. And the lights kept flickering which was a bit annoying. I understand the vibe but it felt a little too dark in there when the sun set. I will be back, this food is amazing!

Yelp
We only got takeout here, but since I spent about 5-10 minutes waiting to pick it up while the host dealt with a reservation issue, I had a chance to look around a bit and soak up the ambience. Inside, the restaurant is a warm and inviting space with wooden decor and comfy-looking seats. As for the food, it was surprisingly good. Not that I had low expectations, but my order -- falafel and shepherd's salad -- was not especially adventurous. Still, Oda delivered a tasty combination of flavors, serving the crisp falafel in a thin layer of smooth hummus and chopped parsley, and tossing the vegetables in a light coating of olive oil and pomegranate reduction. I also tried the spinach pkhali, which others had recommended. I was not as impressed with this dish -- it's served cold, and the spinach part was a bit overpowering for my tastes -- but everyone else finished theirs, so I guess I was in the minority. As far as northside restaurants go, this probably ranks in my top 10. Worth a return visit for sure.

Yelp
This restaurant is an unexpected delight. First, the decor is adorable with mirrors, wood, crystal chandeliers and subway tile. Service is attentive and knowledgeable about the cuisine, which is a combo of Turkish and Georgian. We had the dolma appetizer which was fine, but the meat combo was outstanding- juicy, tender and beautifully seasoned. The combo plate easily serves two. Best kofta i have ever eaten in any middle eastern cuisine. We shared a massive plate of creamy tiramisu for dessert.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this shared eating adventure! The empress gin cocktails are delicious and a lovely shade of violet. Our server was really helpful in guiding us in the right amount of food to get and always seemed to show up at just the right times. The appetizer platter was a highlight (be careful of the dried chili's in the center, they are HOT) and the imeruli khachapuri was to die for! So rich and delicious, the cheese lover will be dreaming of that dish. Our server recommended adding spinach, and we were so glad we did! The salad was a nice large portion for sharing. Grab a reservation on advance, this place was hopping on a Saturday night!

Yelp
Ordered the Adana. Was good . Only reason not 5 stars is because I am used to a little more flavor in the meat.

Yelp
I need to keep reminding myself to go north of Bryn Mawr on Clark. So many good options to choose from, and one of them is Oda. My boyfriend and I finally tried something different than our usual places and I'm so glad we did. I've been to Oda twice before and it was great, but that's far too few times for how long it's been there. I had the restaurant week pre fixe menu with a delicious salad, small spinach pies and the seafood cioppino. All of it excellent. He had the salmon en papillote and equally excellent. My pre fixe meal came with a dessert flight and they were very generous to comp us another one so my boyfriend didn't feel left out : ) I also had lemonade...so good and not too sweet. We sat on the bar side which was cozy and quiet. Our waiter Alek was charming and sweet and kind and just made us feel welcome. Simply a pleasant experience. I'll be going back soon and often.
google avatar

Leah C.

Yelp
yelp led me here... and so happy to be introduced to georgian food. tons of vegi/vegan options - the hummus with ezme was my favorite. the bar wasn't fully stocked and the service was a bit scattered. our table wasn't in the best location (even though the restaurant wasn't very busy) - felt shoved in the corner which may attribute to why our server wasn't as attentive as he could have been. would like to come back and try other vegi items!
google avatar

Elaine U.

Yelp
I like the overall look and vibe of the restaurant. However I immediately disliked the sound in the room. There wasn't any detectable music which can be fine but I felt like the room echoed too much. I wish there was more to absorb the sound and create an ambiance that matched the decor. The lights also flickered every so often. Our server was very nice. We had a burrata salad to start. It came without the garlic crostini mentioned on the menu. We had to ask for it. The burrata with tomatoes was delicious but it also came with some sort of mango and avocado salsa on the side. I don't really think the mango and avocado went with the rest of the salad. It was tasty just confusing. I did try to put all the elements together in one bite and it made no sense. Doesn't make so much sense together on the plate either. We came on a Sunday which, according to the menu, is not a mandatory shared plates day. However our plates came out in a manner which suggested that we were sharing. We each ordered our own entrees and never said we were sharing. I did not appreciate this since this left me waiting for my entree. I feel like the communication around this could be clearer. Since it can be open-ended, I think it should be up to the server to clarify and ask to ensure satisfactory service. I ordered one cocktail--the Lawgiver. Horribly bitter. I really disliked it. I don't know if it's intentionally bitter but it is. Also it came in a Jack Daniel's low ball glass. This drink did not contain any whiskey. Felt a little odd and not very classy. I think a regular low ball would have been just fine. Lastly, everything was garnished with a flower. I don't understand it. It made no sense. I actually think the food and drink looked fine without the flower. The addition of the flower--especially the same one--on everything was just strange. Unnecessary. A lot of people seem to enjoy this place. I did not and we will not be coming back.

Yelp
OMG Oda is A-MAZ-ING. I am truly blown away by the food here. Our server recommended one of their specialties - a beef stew dish. The beef was so tender and juicy it melted in my mouth. So lean and flavorful - served simmering in a hot oval shaped serving dish. The s spices left my tongue dancing. . The mashed potatoes that come with the stew were also spectacular. This local restaurant is a true treasure that deserves to be packed nightly. If we don't support our small businesses, they won't be around. This place needs to be a part of the Chicago restaurant landscape for a very long time. (Also, the staff was of great cheer. They clearly love working at this restaurant which is a testimony to the owners.)

Yelp
Amazing Turkish deserts!! Great food and great service. Turkish beer, cozy spot and accepted us with no reservations after we were denied at Bad Wolfe.

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance, great service, amazing food. We got the appetizer tray of assorted hummus, then added the spinach/cheese/sausage, and then the assorted meat tray of lamb, beef/chicken Laban's with rice and hummus. Braised Short Ribs were amazing! Definitely try those. It was a dinner for my son's graduation from Loyola and it was a terrific choice!
google avatar

Marina B.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with this place. Pros: extraordinary taste of everything, salad was fantastic, appetizer delicious, and the octopus- mmmm. Cons: the octopus is really small for the price. You have to order something more if you're hungry. In general- small portions, but pricey. And choice of wine is limited. Even though many brands of wine are listed, they didn't have 3 of them which we asked for.
google avatar

Mila G.

Yelp
I was literally sitting at the end of the meal, saying "I'm so happy" and "I'm so satisfied" over and over again. Everything we had was delicious - the cold appetizer platter had a great variety of dips and salads. The lobio tasted like what I remember my mom making but also creamier and better. The hatchapuri (we got the one without egg) was decadently delicious but didn't feel like too much when balanced with the other veggie forward options we had. And finally, the veggie moussaka was cheesy and satisfying. The service was really friendly and helpful without being overbearing. In short, I was so happy! Can't wait to go back and sit in the lovely little sidewalk space

Taylor M.

Yelp
I came here for the first time for a friend's birthday dinner, and it was incredible! Excellent service and even better food. We shared mixed appetizers, a mixed kebab plate, moussaka, and khachapuri, and with drinks, it only ended up being like ~$45 per person, for five people, including tip. I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask if we could do anything for my friend's birthday, and they brought us a slice of cake with a candle. It was very thoughtful and made the whole dinner so special. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Robert L.

Yelp
With great reviews and a romantic atmosphere we were looking forward to a great experience, but the service was as bad as it could possibly have been and the crowd noise in the main dining room was so deafening that we could hardly hear each other talk despite sitting right next to each other. The front room, where the bar is located Has a number of tables available for dining and had the subdued, romantic ambience we had sought, but the stern, grumpy and matronly host unsmilingly pointed to a two top in the main dining room and said "you two go sit there". The waitress was nice, took our order, and that was the last that we saw of her or anyone else the entire night, except for the guy who brought out our wine and food. We were soon out of water and pretty thirsty, but no one ever stopped by our table and they were so busy and understaffed, that we were unable to flag anyone down for a needed refill. Not surprisingly, when we were done eating and ready for the bill there was no one available to request the check, except for the food, delivery guy, who had no idea what to do. I ended up walking around the restaurant and finally found someone who could give me the check. Honestly, I can't think of any place I've ever been where there was simply not no service at all. Wow. On a brighter note, the menu is very interesting and varied, and we were looking forward to trying the Turkish version of short rib which was described as having sour plums and dried apricots. Surprisingly, the dish was served with the short ribs, some potato and a sauce, but contained no apricots or plums, which is the reason we had ordered the dish. Wow again. We liked the eggplant roulade appetizer with walnut pesto and pomegranate reduction, and the vegetarian moussaka was also good. Nevertheless, as you can, imagine, there is no way that we will be going back to this restaurant.

Yelp
Delicious food and flavors! Will definitely return! The drinks were also very tasty and very gracious staff who treated my group of 5 like family.

Yelp
Delicious, authentic Mediterranean food. The lighting and acoustics make it a perfect place to catch up with friends, or for date night. Service is on point too!

Yelp
Wow! GREAT place, great food, great staff. Rolled in here randomly last night, HUNGRY. Falafel appetizer, delicious and perfectly bright green on the inside. Sitting on a bed of the creamiest hummus I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a LOT of hummus!). Beef Stroganoff! A favorite of mine anyway, this was really tasty. Juicy chunks of beef, mushrooms, savory-creamy sauce. Paired with tasty yellow rice. A great size for two to share. There were so many other interesting things on the menu that I want to come back for. I'm not super familiar with Georgian cuisine, but will now explore with great enthusiasm. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and deliciousness of the food. Cute, friendly bartender was fun to chat with. All of the staff, just great! Returning soon - another great resto in a great neighborhood, Andersonville!

Yelp
Oda was great. We came on a weeknight and the staff was very attentive and accommodating to us. We shared the ezme, mchadi, and shepherd's salad for appetizers and the imperuli khachapuri and veggie moussaka. Ezme: highly recommend. Slightly spicy pepper dip, which was awesome with the mchadi. Mchadi: it's called corn bread but it's more like cheese bread. Also really good. Shepherds salad: veggie salad. Not much else to it but it came with a tasty dressing. Veggie moussaka: my least favorite, not to my taste but kind of tasted like lasagna. Khachapuri: super yummy. Basically gooey, cheesy pizza.

Yelp
Everything here was delicious. The server really understood the menu and could give advice. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Varied wine list with wines from all over including Armenia, Georgia and Turkey. Very filling. Ask your waiter about appropriate quantities so you don't over order. Nice to come with a group because the food is great for sharing. Don't miss the Georgian bread!

Yelp
I absolutely love this food at Oda! Very vegetarian friendly, everything tastes fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service is impeccable and the restaurant has a very intimate yet welcoming vibe. One of my absolutely favorite restaurants.

Yelp
Oda Mediterranean was on our list to visit as part of our restaurant exploration. We were a party of 3 so a deposit wasn't required at the time of reservation. The dinner plans were made for Wednesday evening and I anticipated that it would be a non busy evening considering it's a weekday and it's Andersonville. We arrived on time and we're seated and greeted by our waitress immediately. We ordered couple of drinks and started with the mixed appetizers platter because we wanted to taste all the side dishes. We then ordered shareable entrées which were chicken cubes dinner and sultan's delight. The food was seriously delicious and full of flavor, considering I have just recently gotten back from Turkey so the Cuisine tasted familiar and very close to the food served back in Turkey. The interior design was unique and it correlated with the origins of the cuisine. Couple things I would recommend are removing deposit requirement from weekday reservations for a party of 6 or more to attract more guests and serving a little more chicken cubes with the chicken dinner to justify the price. Otherwise I will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

Yelp
Great drinks and service was very friendly and good. Appetizers were good - falafel. Our Cornish hen garlic sauce dish was so salty it was inedible. A friend had the short ribs and was a very bad chewy piece of meat. We were very disappointed for the price point. We spent $250.00 for a meal we basically couldn't eat. We should have just ordered appetizers and drinks since that was all that was good. Kharcho, the braised short ribs with potatoes, onions, garlic, dried sour plum & dried Turkish apricots. Very bad piece of meat and chewy! Probably not fresh. Two people in our party had the Shkmeruli, which was Cornish hen crisped under a brick, with a creamy garlic sauce. Too much sauce, and the sauce was very salty! So salty it was absolutely inedible. Probably not fresh. Not worth returning.... Won't last if it doesn't improve.

Yelp
I totally loved this place. We came in a Friday night. The ambiance is nice and the service is real good, but more importantly the food was so delicious. We ordered the mix appetizer with a little bit of everything: ganoush, hummus... expect more than the average quality! Probably the best one I ever had. Everything was very fresh, the pita bread they serve is also warm and fresh, also some of the best I ever had. My friend ordered the Short Ribs. It's a perfect dish for winter but we enjoyed it anyways. Full of flavor! I ordered the Sultan's delight: very creamy and fulfilling. I totally recommend this place. It made me feel like it was hard to pick form the whole menu! I hope the restaurant keeps the high level and quality, as well as such a price for this standard! Thank you!

Yelp
Made a reservation ages ago for my Pre-bday dinner, bc they were one of the few places in Andersonville taking reservations during Covid. Initially we wanted outdoor seating but once we realized it was on the sidewalk on Clark, we opted to sit inside. Inside, the server was clad in a mask and gloves. Hand sanitizer was available at the reception area, and masks are required whenever you get up from your table. We came in famished so quickly placed an order to share the dolma (grape leaves) the imam biyaldi (the eggplant and tomato mix with pomegranate reduction), the short ribs and the Georgian egg/cheese bread. It was a little too much food for 2 people, but the adjaruli (cheese bread) made for a great breakfast the day after. I'm not always a fan of grape leaves, but these were superb. I inhaled 2. The eggplant mix went well with the pita and other bread in the basket. We then waited 35 minutes for the next part of our meal, which was fine because we were in good company, but a little surprising, as it wasn't that crowded, and it was a Sunday night. Finally, the other two dishes came. The braised short ribs were cooked excellently - slid off the bone, though the meat itself was a little bland. The cheese bread - while not an every day thing, as it's so rich was definitely another standout. Cheesy. Salty. Fun to mix the egg in with the cheese. It's probably going to be sitting on my thighs for the next week, but yum. It was excellent. And for a birthday dinner, it hardly broke the bank - $66 for the two of us before tip. Next time, I'd like to come for apps and cocktails for happy hour, but this time around, we were pretty focused on getting us fed. Thanks Oda for being up to the task.

Yelp
I must write this review because I am still under the impression We drove by this place million times and I don't know how we didn't try it out yet. Today was the day and I love it. We allll loved it. Service was amazing. You can feel warm atmosphere the moment you stepped in. Ambient is very cute and I love that you can just stop by and eat something good and quick and you can celebrate something special there. We were party of four so it was perfect occasion to try different things. I love that. We ordered Appetizer sample plate, Cheese and Egg Khachapuri, Choban salad. 10/10 I can not wait to come back again to try the rest of it.. we shared mixed grill and short rib stew in special plum and apricot sauce. I would choose short ribs over the grill. But my friend love the way meat was cooked bc she loved well done everything. For me it was overcooked but short ribs were amazing. Meat was juicy and cooked to perfection. Falling apart. Yum! We shared plum pudding Georgian dessert as well as Kunefe and both were delicious. I didn't took any photos after cocktail's arrived bc my phone died so you need to go and trust me on my word how good it was. We agreed that we discovered new gem.

Yelp
Search for best khachapuri in Chicago is over at last! I love coming uptown for authentic cuisines and Oda didn't disappoint. The vibe here is vibrant and hip with a dark decor matched with gold. For drinks, I got an Oda passion and my partner got a Turkish lemonade. Both drinks were flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. In addition to our star - Oda Adjaruli Khachapuri, we got a chicken kebab with hummus. The khachapuri was amazing - the bread was light and fluffy, cheese was gooey and the vegetables were sautéed with flavorful spices. We loved it! The kebab came with a salad and hummus and complementary bread. The salad was very delicious and the kebabs were good though they could have been more juicier. The hummus was creamy and the toasted pita really complemented well. Overall, we'd be back for the khachapuri soon!

Yelp
This restaurant was warm and inviting. The staff was extremely pleasant and the drinks were yummy. Everything was good, the spicy hummus was amazing. Lots of clearly marked vegan options on the menu which makes a huge difference. I hate having to ask. We had the dolma - which were good, the falafel - solid and an eggplant dish which was just okay. Nice neighborhoody vibe and not crazy expensive. Solid choice - pleasant service goes a long way

Yelp
I would very very recommend this restaurant, why? Because they're preparing very quality and clean food! Me personally have tried their 6-8 different dishes within 2 weeks and each of them are phenomenal and very tasty. And it's in my neighborhood win win.

Yelp
I definitely should've listened to the other reviews that mentioned tight tables because that really was enough to take off a star. I couldn't carry a conversation when there were two other conversations happening less than a foot away on both sides. Otherwise, we had good food, good service. Just would not return as I can't connect with anyone in such a tight space,

Yelp
Great food. Service was friendly and family like. Busy but comfortable and could still converse with my date.
