"There’s often an ice cream truck parked on Kent Ave just a few blocks up from Oddfellows in Williamsburg, so you’ll have to make the choice: $1.50 chocolate-vanilla twist or $5 coconut-lemon zest twist? When you’re more in the mood for the latter, know that most of Oddfellows’ daily-rotating soft serve flavors are worth the (much) higher price point.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
Oddfellows Ice Cream Turns Into After-Hours Dance Party - Eater NY
"New Yorkers walking by Domino Park Saturday night couldn’t help but pause as they peered into the window of OddFellows Ice Cream Co., many pulling out their phones to document the scene. Usually closed at midnight, the shop was packed, the room a mix of an under-30 crowd that traveled far and wide: bodies sweating, bumping up against each other, while DJs played songs with a bass strong enough to feel vibrations from the sidewalk. The biggest difference from any other club? People were grinding as they balanced a blood orange ice cream in a cone topped with rainbow sprinkles in their hands — an ice cream social unlike any other." - Emma Orlow
"The Oddfellows in DUMBO has two main things that sets it apart from the other locations: it’s got great views of the Brooklyn Bridge, and it has beer, wine, and cider (in addition to soft serve)." - hannah albertine, emma, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, matt tervooren
Dough Doughnuts Reopens in Brooklyn Amid Big Expansion Plans - Eater NY
"NYC’s ice cream shops are coming back just in time as the weather begins to warms up. Oddfellows, which had permanently closed its East Village and Nolita shops during the pandemic, is now back in Williamsburg at Domino Park with a new location at 40 River Street, Bedford + Bowery reports." - Bao Ong
I’ve been here a couple times. New flavors from the last time i was in. The passion fruit, apricot and pistachio was iconic. The strawberry roses forever was my kids favorite

Location! Location! Location! Perfect spot for an ice cream shoppe. Nestled between a brewery and Roberta’s Pizza and across from the heart of Domino Park. The shoppe is spacious with high ceilings to help dispel any suffocating pandemic feelings. The outdoor seating is adorable with perfect views of Domino Park. Located on a section of River St with very little car traffic. The flavors are unique and well made and the prices are about average for the area. Some swag available and a freezer of popular flavors available for grab and go.

We visited this ( I believe the original?) location tonight, not for the first time. Always delicious, unique, modern flavors. The reason I decided to leave a review tonight though is that the staff was exceptionally lovely this evening, so genuine and friendly, yet professional. A fun way to end our evening. So refreshing, thank you!

Solid ice cream joint right across the street from Domino Park with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Quirky, but fun vibe with decent variety of unique flavors. We got Brooklyn Blackout (chocolate on chocolate on chocolate), Strawberry (honestly a really good strawberry scoop), and Passionfruit.

ATTENTION MANAGEMENT:
A bunch of us came to this location on Sat. 7/6 after dinner and this place was a mess. Used napkins on the ground in random locations on the floor, all but one napkin dispenser had 6 napkins left in the entire place, the rest were empty. All the sample spoon handles were sticky, YUK!, all the counter surfaces were sticky and unkempt. It felt like a McDonalds in there. It’s sad to see one of our favorite spots looking like this. Especially since there are other options like Gentile Gelato that is just up the block.
Also, the service could’ve been a lot better especially since no other people were on line. What the 2 ladies served up was just a pulse and the bare minimum. Pleasant people should be hired when they’re the face of your business.
At $10 a head for ice cream, you can do better for your patrons.

This place has a fantastic location and the flavors are creative and very well-made. The matcha and strawberry flavor was a favorite. The toppings are also delicious especially the olive oil and marshmallow fluff.
