"This hometown hero has reintroduced festivals to its sprawling, see-and-be-seen patio. Add farmer and artisan markets to the list of reasons (food trucks, live music, cornhole, also beer) to spend an afternoon here. And check out the new pilot brewhouse in RiNo." - Josie Sexton

I love the atmosphere at Odell, but the fact that they offer 4 ounce pours of anything they have on tap is my favorite thing about the brewery. Their seating options are amazing and the live music is always a bonus. Everything they have on tap is delicious, too.

Jeff did an awesome job on our tour! He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions! He had great energy as well! The tour is generally great as well and you get two beers! Thank you =)

Tasty beer, accommodating staff and a beautiful outdoor area. This is our favorite brewery we visited in ft Collins.

Google
AWESOME VIBE, what an amazing crew running the show at Odell’s!! Erin, Elias, Jeff and Sam truly enjoy their work-home and awesome brews. THANKS.

Google
A local recommended this brewery to us way back in 2013. It was our first trip to Ft Collins and only had time for one, so we ended up at the brewery we heard of before down the road. Since that time I’ve had the chance to try some Odell beer and it has become one of my favorites - especially the IPA. So I was excited to finally get to make good on that local’s recommendation 11 years later. In short, it was fantastic! The atmosphere was perfect and of course the beer was as good as it gets. Food from the truck was great as well. Can’t wait to get back!

Google
The beers were outstanding! Their Maple Amber was insanely delicious, and the atmosphere was the best of the breweries I've been to. The patio was lovely, with plenty of shade. Come here during the summer and fall.

Had an amazing experience at Odell Brewing with Joe as our tour guide. Popped in on a Sunday and enjoyed a beer on the patio prior to our scheduled tour. Their patio is gorgeous, full of fire pits for those crisp spring days and buzzing with family and dogs. We were so lucky to have Joe hosting our tour on a quieter Sunday. He was gracious with his time, patient with our endless questions and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We learned so much and highly recommend taking the time for a tour. Even luckier if its with Joe! Delicious craft beer and loved learning more about the process. Beautiful setting!

Jeff and Sam treated us amazingly! Coming to Odell is always a fun time especially with such kind and capable staff!

Yelp
I was visiting here from Florida, so I can not compare this brewery to any of the others in the area since this is the only one that I was fortunate to visit while there. The location is incredible. Part of me really likes that you can bike to this brewery (as well as everything else in this city). I also found it to be a beautiful establishment. I ordered on the inside from a very attentive bartender and took my drink out to the back patio. The seating is comfortable and there was plenty of space for people to spread out. They have a broad selection of beers on tap and since I wanted to see what they really had to offer, I went with the classic flight of all of their main staples. It included the lagerado, east street, 90 shillings, drumroll and sippin pretty. I am not a fan of sours so I was glad that it wasn't over the top sour and had just the right level of sweetness to it. I'm a big fan of Hazy style and found drumroll to be well above average. I can easily say I wish they had distribution all the way out here but sadly they do not. I guess it is a good excuse to come and visit another time.

Yelp
Very nice property, dog friendly outdoors. We sat under an umbrella in the shade of the trees and were very comfortable on a very warm day. There is also a large patio right off the tasting room, also dog friendly. I had my dark porter Jake her amber and we were quite happy. There was a ample selection of beer to choose from. A nice touch is that the staff comes around to tend to the glasses and can order your next round and deliver it to your table. As we sat relaxing Geneva came around to refill our order and had an awesome visit with Dex. Very relaxing with nice people leads to a friendly environment. The vib was much more calm than some breweries that we visited in the area.

Mike G.

Yelp
Another cool brewery in Ft. Collins. We got a drink and sat outside since it was a little chilly in. Huge place with lots of sitting inside and out. You could do worse than spend some time here.

Ken S.

Yelp
What better way to anger a loyal customer than to offer a rebate and then not honor it? O'Dell offered one last year. I complied with all of the terms and submitted everything required. Never got it. Emailed O'Dell, never got any response. 90 Shilling consumption way down!

L A.

Yelp
Great beer in the best patio by the fire pit! Plus good vibes to visit by! Service is top notch as well.

Nelson L.

Yelp
Odell never disappoints! Great beer, amazing outdoor filled with activities, lounging area, scenic views. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all, you can bring your furry family member! And we are not just talking about Uncle Joe! Bring your dog and relax in the great outdoors with some refreshing craft beer! Feel like having a picnic? Bring a blanket and make yourself ay home in their spacious lawn. There is coffee, an ice cream shop (so bring the little ones as well), and food offerings. Perfect for a quick getaway, meeting with friends, and partaking in the great outdoors! The only thing they need to work on is cleaning tables. Sure, glasses are picked up religiously, but not much attention is paid to actually wiping the tables between guests.

Yelp
TOUR - Our guide was Sam and he did a great tour. He seemed to enjoy giving the tour and answered all our questions. We had a small group (5) so midway through the tour we were able to stop at the bar and sample many of their beers. Have ~15 on tap and probably sampled ~10 (just small 1/2 shot, but really great to be able to try a lot of their brews. Been to quite a few other tours and Odell was more generous than typical. Though, might not happen if you have a large group.) At the end of the tour went back to the bar and could have a sample before getting your main pour in a regular pint. All the staff behind the beer were friendly and wanted you to enjoy their beer. If you wanted to hangout before/after the tour they have a nice indoor/outdoor area with lots of seating.

Jessica J.

Yelp
I am an Odell girlie through and through. I love their beers and the flights are great too! I've only been here during the Fall and Summer, which both times I got lucky and was able to sit outside in nice weather. I like to sit outside here where I feel like I would prefer to sit inside at New Belgium. The way things are set up is super cute and I like the food trucks they get as well. On top of this, the employees are kind and attentive when our glasses are empty. And not to mention, the merch section always presents a danger to my wallet.

Amy G.

Yelp
Impeccable vibe! This place is absolutely gorgeous and I could spend all day on the patio. The beer is great as always and I really enjoyed noticing the subtleties in the IPA flight. They usually have good trucks and we loved the Mac'n'Cheese one. Both inside and outside are dog friendly and our dog enjoyed the attention. Only downside is the line for the bar can be long on weekends. I can't blame them though since they move efficiently and its popularity is self explanatory.

Yelp
Before visiting Fort Collins I heard a lot of hype about this brewery and now I know why. The ambiance is amazing! The brewery looks like a castle and there are tons of seating options inside and outside with fire pits. I know I love the sippin pretty, so I tried something new-the Bobby kolsch. It was light and delicious. It seems that they offer a lot of sours, so if that's your thing you'll love the beer here. I was a little disappointed they didn't offer ambers, maybe it was just that day. They don't serve food, but everyday they have a different food cart and the schedule is online. They also have a gift shop with great merchandise!

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Ordered the Hazer Tag and Colorado Lager; both drinks were good! I especially enjoyed the vibes at this place and it's so beautiful outside - it was over the summer anyways lol Great place to chill with friends if you don't mind the loud music and how packed it gets. Highly recommend going here if you're in Fort Collins - Cheers!

G O.

Yelp
I've been here plenty, and always came back but I'm disappointed tonight. Management must be off their game, brewery staff went over to OBC winery and downed a wine and went back to her post in the brewery while I waited for my wine to be poured. And Odell must not care that their food court vendor is ripping off Odell customers by charging more for some tacos then listed on their price board. And of course, the price break down is not given before you pay. I'll take a break from Odell's for now. Don't want to go out for a relaxing night and see such unprofessionalism.

Amber S.

Yelp
Service: 3/5 Ambiance 4/5 Beer: 2/5 No tastings were being offered on my visit. So I had to go on recommendations from the beer-tender. I had the beer they have been making the longest and a second beer I don't recall the name of. I was underwhelmed as was the person with me. Grounds were beautiful.

Andrew B.

Yelp
Great for all ages. Or at least 0-12 and 21+. Fun outdoor space that will be enjoyed by kids wheel mom and dad enjoy a pint or two. I enjoyed the Bakersfield style band playing on a Wednesday afternoon.

Keanna M.

Yelp
What a fun place! We walked in for my husbands birthday, and were surprised because Odell had an Oktoberfest event going. The place was packed, but we still got beer and a seat. I have definitely had better Oktoberfests before. But! It was a cool event with live music and a food truck, so I'd come back for it. I also tried the Peach Stand Rambler Blonde Ale which was awesome!! I haven't had many peach ales, but I'm loving them in the Denver/Fort Collins area. We came for the beer, but they have a wine cellar too. The whole place feels like a small campus of sorts, and it's really quite cute outside. There were a bunch of families, dogs, and people of every age when we visited. I definitely want to visit again. Parking was easy even with our dually truck, and we usually expect that to be a challenge. That was a big plus!

Hmmmmm O.

Yelp
He loves 90 schilling. Made special turn off from Idaho just for the brewery. Got a shirt and glasses too! Winery next door has a nice barreled pinot Gris. Bought some there too. Patio ok for dogs and nice music outside. Dont recommend the chicken donut food truck though. Super greasy waffle fries and underdone chicken. Had a fairly large piece of jagged plastic in my chicken too I thought it was glass but he that said it's just plastic. Ooookkkk. Get charcuterie plate at the wine place instead.

Yelp
I've been to this Odell location a few times now, and I must say, it's one of my favorites! The large outdoor area w/ grassy areas, fire pits, and food trucks is always a huge draw - but unfortunately, in the winter, seating is limited inside so we had to do some seat searching with our large group. It surprisingly didn't take long, but maybe that's because of the time we stopped in around 6 PM. It was a bit chaotic ordering our beers as the beertenders were trying to serve people quickly, so they would call you to the front even when you're not ready to order. Good thing I was able to select what I wanted quickly - the Friek stood out to me this time around, as I was in the mood for a good sour. Delicious beer, great atmosphere - I'll obviously be back many more times.

Yelp
Top notch beers, Top notch experience. Layout, vibe, all that was great. We came here on a Sunday afternoon, they had a band playing in the courtyard, bike parking, food truck, all that good stuff. The brewery was very clean and tight. Good schwag too. Beers were simply excellent. Phenomenal quality. Heady Topper level. That's it and that's all.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Tasty beer, rotating food truck, across from winery. You can get beer or wine but must sit outside. No beer inside winery and vice versa. Beautiful outdoor seating areas, great beer and friendly service.

Hessam H.

Yelp
This brewery is a solid 5 star experience. Not only do they have a great beer selection, they all were great tasting. If you have a chance to take a tour with Jeffrey, you will learn a lot and have the best time. He is very knowledgeable and funny. Try the chocolates they sell with your beer and you will be amazed at how well they go together. The best craft brewery I have ever been to. Great seating areas and fun decorations. Also, if you get a chance to talk the maintenance technician "House", you will have some the best conversation ever. Everyone is friendly and nice.

Abbey L.

Yelp
Good vibes, great beer! Love that they have a food truck as well though I didn't eat while I was there! Beer Flights are pretty overpriced though

M P.

Yelp
Great beer and one of the nicest beer gardens around! We always stop when in Ft. Collins!

Jessica J.

Yelp
Such a beautiful brewery inside and out. The beer selection was fantastic and the flight price was a great deal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful when getting out beer and merch to go!! We would be here all the time if we lived in the area. Can't wait until we come back to visit so we can see even more.

Kara B.

Yelp
Pleasant staff. Small venue. Plenty of beer options. They do not brew seltzers as some breweries do. Next to the the OBC wine project. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They will not let you bring beer purchased at OBC brewery into the OBC Wine Project, and vice versa. So if you go with wine drinkers your party will have to sit outside as that's the only place both patrons can mingle. And if you decide to try beer and wine you will have to open two tabs. Usually have food trucks outside for food purchase.

L M.

Yelp
What a beauty!! Such a beautiful brewery, humongous. Gorgeous outdoor area and plenty to choose from to sit. Beer choices are ample. Tried the 90 Shilling which was apparently their most popular and oldest beer. Thoroughly enjoyed time here. Temperature was 95+ outside but the beer kept us cool plus the added feature of spraying the mist. For food, they had a separate Taco food truck (order separately). The tacos were DELISH. The salsa verde was spot on. Highly recommend this place, kids friendly coz of beautiful outdoor space.

Tracy B.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere, try to find the shady spots. Winery was great, loved the frozé. The flavors change and are delicious

Howard T.

Yelp
Great setting, Outdoor area was great. Wine adjoining seating. Good food trucks. Great beer

Ben N.

Yelp
Cool outdoor and indoor hangouts. Nice staff, the food truck outside was very noisy, with kids yelling out patrons names at the top of their lungs. Los Dos Amigos - Mexican Lager salty lime finish. You wait until the entire drink is done, and then the lime chip finish hits your tongue. Excellent.

Stefanie C.

Yelp
I drove up from Denver to meet a friend for beers, and our first stop was Odell. Classic. Such a beautiful, lively brewery I didn't get a chance to fully explore this time, but reading other Yelp reviews gives me FOMO. Parking wasn't bad for me, as I just found a spot on the street. Everyone on staff is super nice and great with recommendations. This is super random, but I love looking at their website and reading about their new beer... AND WINE! They really are always experimenting with new flavors, which is one of the big things I appreciate about Odell. Definitely check out their swag store and get to know their story. Unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of the beer. I bought a giant pack of Odell once for a party, and most of it still sits in the fridge. I tried the IPA, and the flavors weren't my vibe. With that said, if you're brewery-hopping around Fort Collins, Odell HAS to be a stop, at least for one beer. It's an integral part of the culture, and I hope it's more up your alley than mine!

Amanda D.

Yelp
Waited about 40 minutes for a table but it was worth it. This place is beautiful. Love the outdoor space. Lots of swag. The staff was great. The ordering system was cool. You order your first drink when you check in. Then grab it and take it to your table. For seconds and thirds, you scan the barcode at your table and order and they bring it out. Very quickly I might add. The beers were great. I even found one I liked and I don't like beer. They had several that I would drink. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.

Ava K.

Yelp
Great outdoors area. Good beer. They don't offer flights. The bartender told us it's too hard for them to do flights. Huh??? We thought that was weird. So we just ordered two beers.

Cassidy J.

Yelp
Had mixed reviews about this place after a few visits but following this most recent visit (today) I won't be returning nor will I be purchasing. The lady that took myself and my parents's order was incredibly rude. (This is only my second yelp review if that tells you how fired up this made me) I didn't get her name but she was brunette and had a terrible rbf. My mom wanted a non-alcoholic drink and the lady literally scoffed at her and mocked her accent when saying the word "sour" (my mom has an Irish accent). She was very dismissive and wanted nothing to do with us. I will say that karma sure got her...when I was sitting outside, I watched a dog throw up and then proceed to eat it. The lady then came outside and gave it many kisses on the mouth!! Lesson learned: go to New Belgium for a good time!!!

Dave R.

Yelp
My Favorite in Fort Collins!!...always has been. Stopped in yesterday to meet a friend and enjoy a few. It's been too long (frigid COVID!) Aside from a few new flavors, the experience was like catching up with an old friend. Rewarding!

Loni T.

Yelp
Odell's use to be my go to Brewery in town and I recommended it to everyone!... until recently. I went there to visit some friends out of town and when I got back into my car someone had broken in my car and smeared thick black grease all over my steering wheel and handles inside the car. Ruined my clothes and belongings and took hours to scrub off. When I called they said they have had quite a bit of issues with vandalism in the parking lot " depending on how many homeless people are in the area at the time". I asked if they had cameras to help support cops finding culprits and their response was that "the owners have made it a goal to never have cameras on the property". I understand privacy issues but when there is a known problem I don't see how cameras just in the parking lot could do anything but help. I won't go back again and risk losing more money to vandalism, especially if they don't care about their customer clientele enough to help protect them.

Yelp
2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #109 If you're planning a trip to Fort Collins, CO. I suggest you pick 1 or 2 breweries and book a free tour of their amazing brewery. My husband and I booked a free tour of this beautiful brewery and find out some amazing information. Odell Brewery was the 2nd craft brewery to open in CO and is now among the 400 other breweries in the state. Odell is an employee owned company and with each year you are employed in the company you received a portion of stock. Everyday at 3pm employees get to try beer in their upstairs tasting room. A new winery is in the making and plans of opening will be April of 2020. It will be located right next door to Odells and they're opening a new location at Saloons lake that sells pizza and beer. Sell beers in 19 states and Texas is one of the biggest consumers of Odell beers. I won't share any more tour goodies, but just know you will love it. You also get two beers to sample along the tour.

Yelp
Went for Oktoberfest. Arrived ~11:30. Wife and I grabbed a beer from the beer counter. In the 30 minutes we spent enjoying our beers the line to get another beer grew to 30 or more. Like across the lobby, out the front door beyond where you can see. We decide to leave. My wife went to the cashier to pay and was told she had to wait in that line to pay our existing tab, or leave and they'll charge my card later with a 20% gratuity. It's too bad, the beers were great. Do yourself a favor and go to Sweet Water Brewing at the other end of the block. We did. They have a food menu there and it was all fresh made and delicious, as were their beers. And we weren't treated like cattle like the Odell dipshits!

Allison T.

Yelp
This is one of the best breweries in Fort Collins! I love stopping by for a beer or hanging outside. The staff are friendly and the area is spacious! Great for after work or meeting up with friends.

Cathy S.

Yelp
On a trip to Ft Collins, you can't miss at least one beer tour. The city is so beer packed that even Colorado State University has courses in fermentation! So which one to choose? We picked Odells for 2 reasons: Our host said he liked it and our son declared it was his favorite when he took a beer tour here years ago. It did not disappoint. There were many beers on tap. Our group was varied, from IPA lovers (me) to those who like the sweeter brews like Hefs and Ales. There was even wine for our gluten free friend (although there were GF beers as well). Everyone of the people in our group (six) declared their drink excellent! There was plenty of onsite parking, lots of places to sit. The bathrooms were very clean. There are food trucks that rotate through, if you are looking for food as well. So far, this places in my top 3 for beer in Colorado!

Sabine F.

Yelp
Odell brewing company offers a nice atmosphere. They have plenty of seating and a great selection of craft beer. It was very busy when we were there but were able to secure a table. I loved their stouts.

Pete V.

Yelp
Visited Odell on my last visit to Fort Collins and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Grabbed a flight of IPAs and headed out to the huge patio area to sip some beer and enjoy the beautiful September afternoon. The patio area is fantastic with lost of seating and even a fire pit area with Adirondack chairs. They also had a food truck parked near buy and we got a very tasty shrimp po' boy. The beers are excellent. Loved the Mercenary DIPA! Medium bodied and complex with a nice hoppy, but not bitter finish. All five IPAs I tasted were great. Definitely a must visit for any beer lover visiting Ft. Collins!

Connie G.

Yelp
There are two big breweries on the east side of Fort Collins. This is the first one I visited mid-week. The grounds are lovely, with many shaded spots to sit and drink beer, eat from the food truck, or enjoy a live band. The various beers are all tasty and I have a hard time picking a favorite (although the wheat beer is pretty darn good). I had my dog with me and although dogs are allowed outside, they ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE I had to tie him up to a pipe, run in and order, and then run back outside to be with my dog. This no dog tollerance made a big difference when an hour later a big storm blew through. Everyone ran inside and I had to run to my car and wait out the storm before running back inside to settle my bill. The "other big brewery" to the north of this place does allow dogs inside its building and that made all the difference when I visited that place.

Shelly J.

Yelp
Loved visiting Odell!! Such a fun and friendly atmosphere with a gorgeous area to sit outside. Ordered a flight and everything was delicious. Reasonable prices too and cool swag for sale. Will def come back if we are in the area again!

Nanda S.

Yelp
This one of the finest brewing places I how been to and their hazy beers are fantastic. Yummmmm beer and ambience. I wish had more Food trucks come here but cheers

Kim B.

Yelp
We are on vacation and trying the breweries in town. This is not our fav by far. We got two flights, classic and adventure. Of the ten tastings, I liked two and my husband liked three. Two of his were the two I liked. And a major dislike, they don't do military discount of any kind. Of the two dozen bars, breweries, restaurants, and shopping places we have been to, this is the first in Ft Collins we have been that doesn't honor our service men and women and our first responders.

Christina T.

Yelp
I like this brewery, it had been a long time since I had come here, as I live out of the state. They had a great mix of beers, including sours, which I really like. I tried their sour flight and I loved their guava sour beer and their other lighter beer. They also have a winery section now, which I went inside to see but didn't really want to do a tasting. There was a good selection there too. But you do have that as well. You should visit if you are in fort collins. The outside seating area is by far one of my favorites in the town, so comfortable and beautiful with soo many flowers. It is also dog friendly outside too.

Joee L.

Yelp
I came here with my cousin, her husband and their 3 children under 3. This place is definitely kid and dog friendly. They had an amazing outdoor area complete with fire pit and food truck. There were lots of people sitting outside with their dogs enjoying a beer. I ordered the cider and gluten free beer. Both were good. I preferred the cider. It was one of the better ciders I have had. I ordered tacos from the food truck and they were also delicious. My cousin ordered the grilled cheese from the truck and everyone loved that. My cousin and her husband raved about the tomato soup. This brewery had a really laid back and chill vibe and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Tim F.

Yelp
Great beer, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and terrific atmosphere! Nice fire pits outside to gather with friends on a chilly day. The beer is straight forward and high quality. The Imperial Mountain Standard IPA is exceptional!

Justin M.

Yelp
Tried the citrus kombucha and the barreled treasure. The kombucha was ok but wouldnt drink it again. The treasure was enjoyable. The sippin pretty was also refreshing. Not a bad place and busy.

Kristi M.

Yelp
Food trucks. Live music. Good beer. What else could you need? I love that it's pet friendly! Tons of seating even on a busy Saturday. Wonderful, large parking lot. Sippin pretty is probably my new favorite beer. Skip new Belgium and come straight here. Yep. I said it.
