After pizza at Redeemer, we went in search of Right Cream. Alas, it was gone. They moved to Arvada, but this was not shown on Google. Cold and disgruntled, we decided to have a drink. Odell was on the way back to the car.
It's a clean and homey space. Lots of wood. No TVs in the bar area, which was surprisingly relaxing. There are TVs and board games upstairs. There's also a patio with a firepit. This seems like a local neighborhood hangout. Everyone there on a Sunday afternoon looked to be in their 20's or 30's. There were no children present. There's no table service. You order at the bar.
I don't drink beer, but they had a hard seltzer with white sangria. I had a nonalcoholic peach mojito from a can, which was pretty good. N tried three beers. One, a key lime with graham cracker, was really good, even to me. While it had the characteristic bitterness of beer, you could taste both the key lime and graham cracker. So unusual! Of the three that he tried, that was our favorite.
A very pleasant place to spend an hour or two. They have activities most weeknights, including live music on Fridays. I'm guessing that it's usually packed at night. On a lazy Sunday afternoon, the vibe was calm and quiet.
