"Fort Collins-based Odell Brewing Co. on Monday officially opened its second brewhouse at 2945 Larimer Street in Denver. The cozy new taproom and 10-barrel pilot system recall the brewery’s 1989 beginnings in a 1915 Northern Colorado grain elevator. Over 29 years and from its expanded facility in Fort Collins, Odell has become the 22nd largest craft brewery in the country." - Josie Sexton

Odell is an amazing brewery, their workers are top notch. Such a great place to hang out. I’ve been coming here since it opened and I can’t recommend it enough. They get some freedom to do small batches of whatever they want. So, the beer cycles quite a bit and get to try new stuff every visit. Edit: Nearly a Year Later This is still one of the best spots in RiNo/Five Points. I've not been able to visit nearly as much as I used to and the staff are still some of the nicest folks around. I can't recommend this place enough.

Google
Odell Five Points is a staple as far as Colorado breweries go—definitely worth checking off your bucket list—but don’t expect too much from the beer. Think of it as the Starbucks of breweries: you can find it at all major grocery stores, but it leaves much to be desired. I’m a citra IPA, boozy stout, and barrel-aged kind of gal, and Odell falls short in those areas. Ratio Beerworks across the way has way more character, and their beer is hands-down worth the trip to RiNo. In spring and summer 2023, I tried my hand at becoming part of the Monday night run club here. Despite being close with some of the regulars, the leaders came off as rude—two even had the audacity to attack me via text, believe it or not. Stick with your own group to have the most pleasant experience. Overall, not the most welcoming place—I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

Google
Our visit was overshadowed by what felt like dishonest marketing. The bar prominently advertises $8 pints, but strongly encourages customers to try a flight—presumably to explore the selection before committing to a full pint. My wife and I each ordered a flight, expecting a reasonable price comparison to a pint. The total? $48 for two flights—equivalent to just three pints. There were no signs or pricing displayed, and in good faith, most customers would assume a flight is somewhat proportional to the cost of a pint. Instead, it turns out to be $1 per ounce, which feels intentionally misleading. The experience left a sour taste—not from the beer, but from the pricing tactics.

Google
Really liked this tap house, beers were pretty good. The bar seems pretty recently renovated with a clean/fresh ambience. There is bar seating, outdoor seating and upstairs seating (apparently, but we never made it up there). No food was available although there seems to be plenty of food choices nearby. We were doing a pub crawl and there happened to be quite a few breweries in the area, so this was a good start! We liked our stop here!

Delicious flight on the rooftop area! Great service. Friendly staff Beer tasted great and a good price!

Google
We visited Odell Brewing on a Thursday afternoon when visiting Denver for a few days. We decided to spend an afternoon visiting some of the local breweries, and among the 4 we visited this was definitely one of the better ones…and definitely the best one in the RiNo area of town. Really nice rooftop bar with a lot of really good beer options. I would definitely recommend it.

Google
Cute little brewery with a nice selection, you order and pay at the bar. I had the Latte Dottie, love the white chocolate coffee light beer flavor. I typically go for dark beer this one was not bad. This was my first visit to Denver and I love the Rino Area!!! So many breweries to check out and loads of outdoor art to enjoy.

Enjoy the fantastic atmosphere and diverse IPA selection. The bartender is exceptionally friendly. Perfect spot to unwind on a leisurely Friday afternoon and set the tone for a laid-back Denver weekend.

Yelp
Came here with my wife and tried the three sour beers they had to offer during our visit to Denver. The staff was very friendly and even gave us two free stickers for following the brewery on Instagram. The freik Sour Beer was very good. I highly recommend paying them a visit. I wish they shipped their products because id definitely order a case to send home.

Yelp
After pizza at Redeemer, we went in search of Right Cream. Alas, it was gone. They moved to Arvada, but this was not shown on Google. Cold and disgruntled, we decided to have a drink. Odell was on the way back to the car. It's a clean and homey space. Lots of wood. No TVs in the bar area, which was surprisingly relaxing. There are TVs and board games upstairs. There's also a patio with a firepit. This seems like a local neighborhood hangout. Everyone there on a Sunday afternoon looked to be in their 20's or 30's. There were no children present. There's no table service. You order at the bar. I don't drink beer, but they had a hard seltzer with white sangria. I had a nonalcoholic peach mojito from a can, which was pretty good. N tried three beers. One, a key lime with graham cracker, was really good, even to me. While it had the characteristic bitterness of beer, you could taste both the key lime and graham cracker. So unusual! Of the three that he tried, that was our favorite. A very pleasant place to spend an hour or two. They have activities most weeknights, including live music on Fridays. I'm guessing that it's usually packed at night. On a lazy Sunday afternoon, the vibe was calm and quiet.

Yelp
Cool, dual-level brewery. My wife and I each enjoyed a Corvus coffee porter and easily could've consumed another had this been the only spot on Larimer we were planning to visit. Too bad it's a small batch brew and likely won't still be here the next time we stop by. They've got games to play, and the upstairs had tv's with football on. There's even a nice upstairs patio deck for nice weather. Beertender was friendly too. Will definitely be back the next time we're in the neighborhood.

Meesh G.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place. The service was beyond excellent - happy, friendly, engaging staff. The vibe was just really on point for a weekday night. It was a chill place but very welcoming. Their beer was very crisp and clean. Best brewery I visited in Denver so far!

Megan K.

Yelp
Absolutely love this brewery! Walking around and checking out all the murals and other breweries nearby and saw O'dell and decides to give it a try. The lovely ladies behind the bar were so sweet, we took a seat and ordered a flight. They told us all about the beer and even about the hot sauce that the brewer actually started himself! All the beers were great! We didn't get to try the hot sauce, but you can order it online so that's what I plan on doing! (Oso Rojo) The inside of was cozy, clean, inviting, and definitely a vibe at night to chill and drink some beers. They had the cutest merch too! I ended up getting a beanie and a shirt for my mom.

Yelp
Went here and sat on the rooftop patio with our family - my husband and I split the Lingonberry Sour and Purple Pinstripes Sour (Strawberry, raspberry, and prickly pear) - it was seriously purple! The lingonberry was a bit sour but both very tasty. We went on a Saturday night and had a bunch of room to ourselves up top, it was very nice. I love Odell beer!

Jessica N.

Yelp
Chill spot! With pretty unique beers. Got the pandan IPA. Pandan flavor was subtle and tasty!

Allen C.

Yelp
Solid brewhouse with plenty of seating and excellent servers/staff who know and are proud of their brews. Plenty of upstairs/downstairs indoor/outdoor places to congregate w/ friends and catch up. Clean and well designed. Beers are tasty and reasonably priced. Honestly you can't go wrong and there's something for everyone to enjoy here. Not pretentious at all. Great place to stop by if you're walking through this walking area looking for a home-base or even the last stop of the night.

Billie B.

Yelp
Got a flight and the staff was so helpful! Loved the atmosphere and great beers. Will definitely come back

Cesar H.

Yelp
I cannot believe I have not written a review for Odell Brewing. We used to go at least once a week for trivia and while we do not go as often since our schedule changed, we try to stop by every now and again. Derek may be the friendliest bartenders that I've ever met. He makes everyone feel welcomed. Their beer is of course on point. They have the best IPAs and a bunch of very interesting rotating selections. As this is in Rino, the vibe is casual and welcoming. Great patio too!

Paul C.

Yelp
Ever since moving to RiNo, Odell Five Points has become one of my favorite spots to kick back with some great beers. Located in a really cool two story building in the pedestrian only section of Larimer, it's a whole vibe inside and out. I especially love the fire-pits outside on the patio and I try to sit out by one every chance I get. The second floor also has a patio which is closed sometimes due to the weather, and certain times their upstairs bar is closed but you can still up chill up there. I love that Odell has a big selection and also size options if you don't want a full pour, you can also go the tasting route and choose your own flight, or trust them with their "featured flight". They have the Odell classics and exclusives to the Five Points location, similar to how they have certain beers at Sloan's Lake or the Fort Collins locations. I just recently had a pint of their cantaloupe IPA "Flip Fantasia" and it was one of the best beers as I've had as of late! Definitely going back for more of that one soon. Last but not least I want to shoutout Derek who works the taproom there, he is the coolest. Super nice guy who genuinely seems happy to be there and loves talking up craft beer. We've had some good conversations in the past. Every time I walk in and he's there I know it's going to be a great experience at Odell Five Points.

Nicole S.

Yelp
We visited Odell for euchre night and had an absolute blast! I haven't found anywhere for card nights so I'm so happy we found this spot. The beer options are great and its close to lots of dinner options for before or after! I will be back soon.

Keller S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for almost 5 years but somehow was a bad friend and forgot to give this place the 5 stars it deserves. My b y'all! This has been my home away from home. My first friends I made after moving to Denver are here. Some are even included in my wedding. The bartenders here have a LOT of personality and are always ready for a good time or a good chit chat at the end (or in the middle) of the day!

Lauren T.

Yelp
Awesome brewery in the heart of RiNO. We sat upstairs which felt cozy and bright. Love the exposed brick everywhere and comfy seating. I tried the seltzer on tap which was amazing. Bonus points for being served in a great glass. It was fruity but not too sweet, ft. Some exotic fruits that escape me. Highly recommend.

Charisse Q.

Yelp
Odell brewing is such a cute area. There are multiple levels so even though it looks small, there is plenty of room. The servers are nice and get the job done! The beers are pretty delicious and not outrageous. It's a great place to meet up with friends and within walking distance of so many places

Jackie B.

Yelp
Megan is the most helpful and kind person at this brewery! She was incredibly thoughtful and sweet, she's the best and you should absolutely ask for her by name if you go in! (Don't forget to TIP YOUR SERVER!!! ) Thank you Megan, you know you rock!!!

Amy B.

Yelp
Great beers and service. Love the running club on Monday nights. Go-to brewery in Denver!

Carlos H.

Yelp
Excellent beers. I did a flight and liked EVERYTHING I ordered and that never happens even at some of the best breweries. The beers included Chin Music, Captain Cashmere, Passion Fruit Sour, and 90s Shilling. I really liked the outside patio with fire pits. It was cold outside, but I was able to stay warm and have a drink while catching up with a friend. Recommend!

Hannah S.

Yelp
FUN FACT: Since 2015, Odell Brewing Co has been a 100% Employee Owned! Although, "We Are Family" was not playing over the speakers, it's the vibe you got walking in. There was no tension in the brewhouse. The bartenders were friendly, intentional and cool with everyone. They didn't care if you took a long time to order, and happily tried to help you figure out a solid beer for you. You could tell they wanted you to find something you liked. They cared! I figured it must just be a great place to work with good leadership and company culture. Then, I did some research and found out that FUN FACT. Immediately, I thought that's SO COOL. Then, I thought this could be why the character of the establishment was different than other places on the block. Everyone in the building has the opportunity to have ownership, so everyone in the building takes an immense amount of pride in their service, product and the overall experience of each customer who walks through the door. Now, that's REALLY COOL! Beyond how solid the service is, the beer is quality and there are various styles on tap. With inside and outside seating, this is a great place to bring a group of family and friends. Everyone is bound to love it!

Brad B.

Yelp
If you are looking for IPA and sours this is the place for you. Our group had a pilsner and a lagerado, which were good. They offered choices between plenty of indoor and outdoor seating which was nice on a hot day. Plenty of boards on hand to keep us entertained.

Renee V.

Yelp
Good beer great spaces. You can rooftop it or be streeside people watching. Service was cheerful which is nice for a busy place. Cool hangout spot.

Kaylee M.

Yelp
I came in to this brewery when they hosted a free, stand-up comedy event that I found out about on social media. We had a wonderful time with good beer, a good atmosphere, and good comedy. If you're trying out breweries in the RiNo neighborhood, it's worth a stop in. The brewery has two levels, each with a small bar with limited seating. Upstairs, there is plenty of table seating. I ordered the borrowed time craft beer, which was smooth with a high ABV. I absolutely love that. They support local stand up comics, and would love to come in for another event in the future.

Jason W.

Yelp
As much as I have loved Odell for the past 20 years, the choice of music played on my recent visit made us flee in disgust. Please consider changing up the music for people that actually have taste in music.

Jenni R.

Yelp
Stumbled on this place - thanks to other Yelpers! Went on a Sunday afternoon. We drove up and down several streets before finding parking. There's lots of breweries in the area so you have lots of choices of where to go. The brewery had an upstairs so we headed up there. They also have an upstairs outside deck. It was hot so we chose to stay indoors. There's a bar up there so we ordered our beers there. We had never heard of Odell but we had played golf with a guy that had gotten the Sippin Lemonade so I had to try it. We also got the Up Front Juicy IPA. Both were good. This place does not serve any food but there was a food truck down the street if you want to order that. They have a bookcase full of games so we tried out the "Man bites dog" game. Beer was good so I'm going to head to my local Binnies to see if they can order some of the beers I've enjoyed on this trip.

Eddie C.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday and the taproom was crowded. I ordered a flight of four beers and luckily the outside patio was empty. So I sat in front of the fireplace and enjoyed my beer. All of my beers were superb. The ambiance was perfect on the patio. It was a chilly night but the fireplace made it comfortable. This brewery is in an excellent location. Highly recommended to visit this place.

Robert N.

Yelp
Probably my favorite brewery in the five points area. It is clean, comfortable, has plenty of seating options, and at this point you are likely familiar with a few of their beers since they are distributed nationally. It was VERY busy on the Saturday that we stopped in, but the beer tenders were polite and helpful. Answering any questions we had about their different options, which are conveniently separated by type on the menu. Inside was completely full, but they have two separate outdoor seating areas as well, one upstairs, and another downstairs where they had some fires going to help keep everyone warm The cost is completely reasonable, and is on par with many of the breweries that you will find in the area

Kelsey P.

Yelp
I love this place because they always serve several sours. I'm really picky when it comes to beer, and they never disappoint! When we visit, we like to come during the day on a weekday and it's never too busy. Love this brewery!

Aundya A.

Yelp
Came here for Tuesday night trivia, and the upstairs area was great. The tables filled up quickly, but the service continued to be great. I really liked their Chocolate Peppermint Stout!

Apple S.

Yelp
Very nice establishment with staff that is very knowledgeable!! I came in for a drink and when I said what I liked they suggested me something and it was spot on. We also did a flight to try a few and these were decent pores! Recommended.

Chuan L.

Yelp
No food at this brewery, as it should be for an authentic experience at a local place. Ambiance is chill and not too loud or dark. Try various flights! Bartenders are super helpful.

Abigail P.

Yelp
I make sure to stop by Odell in Rino whenever I'm in Denver. Such a great spot. Lots of of outdoor seating now (thanks to Covid) but even before a great indoor space, side patio, and rooftop patio. The staff is always friendly and quick to take your order. Beyond that, they consistently serve excellent beer. I had a west coast IPA that I fell in love with. I think everyone can find the beer for them. Even if beer isn't your thing. A fun experience in Denver!

Pedro P.

Yelp
Must stop by! I'm not the biggest beer person, so when stopping by here I decided to get a flight. Ashley helped me out. I basically let her know I was clueless and just wanted a flight with "lighter" beers. I don't even know what I meant by that, but she asked me a couple questions and put together a delicious flight for me! I thoroughly enjoyed every beer. She even wrote them down for me and I'll forever carry that piece of paper with me so I can remember because I loved them! Thank you so much, Ashley! Definitely look forward to coming here again.

Matt C.

Yelp
Excellent place to go for some of Colorado's finest brews. For me, Odells ranks up with New Belgium and Cerebral Brewing, all having some of the best creations in the state. And they are pretty close too. The street being closed was a great chance to relax and space out a bit. They have lots of tables set up and there's a cool vibe of walking around all these breweries. The bartender was nice and helpful. I got the Elevens IPA, a fruit forward brew with a refreshing kick for summer. Also picked up two Crowlers to mail home to my buddy on the east coast. Everything tasted great and they were awesome helping me pick some out. Can't wait to check out their original location now!

Vincent C.

Yelp
1. Great beer!!! 2. Outstanding service!!!!! 3. Nice location. 4. Very clean inside!!! 5. A place I would want to hang out and have a beer!!! I walked in and the female bar tender with glasses immediately said hello. The place was pretty busy which is always a good thing. I got about three full tasters and they were all pretty good. The bar tender was very friendly and seemed to treat me like everyone else in there if you know what I mean. If I come back to Denver I must come back to Odell!!!!!!

Daniel T.

Yelp
My wife and I traveled to Denver for our anniversary this year. We did not know what to expect for food or drinks, however, when we came across Odell Brewing we were very pleased. When you enter the brewery you are treated by a beautiful space. The craftsmanship that was put into the wood decor is top notch. The roof top area is beautiful and overlooks the downtown area. When it comes to the the selection of beer, we were both very pleased. Like most places in Denver the selection was eclectic. The interesting combination of flavors will be able to satisfy anyone's preferred flavor and style.

Dani N.

Yelp
I had THE best cherry beer i've had, here at Odell! Denver is obviously the capital of craft beer as a whole, but I wouldn't say they're top of the game for sours. In fact, I tried some pretty terrible ones my last visit. But the "sour" cherry (the Friek) I had here was out of the world spectacular. Which leads me to believe they really know how to brew and are well worth a visit. This brewery is in a super rad district called the RiNo, as the locals call it, or the River North District. There's tons of stuff to do in this area including indoor climbing, coworking, craft beer drinking and delicious burger eating. There's tons of murals all around, and each brewery and restaurant has a unique design/theme to it. Great area for groups and tons of photo opportunities! Odell has two CO locations, RiNo and Fort Collins. They also can their beers and sell in local stores. They host live music events, yoga and card tournaments which you can read more about on their website. If you have great appreciation craft beer I highly recommend checking out Odell and the RiNo District in general.

Raven T.

Yelp
This was our final stop on my self-curated brewery tour. I had actually planned for it to be the second to last stop, but everyone was starved (Note to self: next time plan more snack stops), so we ended here and basically ran to Park Burger. I've had Odell before, but I had no idea where the original brewery was located so it was cool finding this location right in the city. They have a wide selection of IPAs if you're into that (I'm not usually), but they also have some worthwhile sours, which is my jam. I ordered Friek and it was absolutely delicious! The smell, color, the flavors, it was a full sensory experience.

Courtney P.

Yelp
One of the last breweries we visited in the Denver area before heading home, Odell served up some mighty tasty brews. I thoroughly enjoyed their variety on their menu which included IPAs as well as some sours. we managed to grab a seat in the downstairs area but I would have loved to check out their outdoor space. It was full the day we were there because it was such a wonderful day with tremendous weather.

Katie F.

Yelp
Odell- First of all, can I tell you how happy I am to have you in downtown Denver? Rarely am I ever in Fort Collins to drink the goodness that is your beer, so THANK YOU for bringing your brews on tap to downtown. I'm obsessed with your new space as it's spacious and offers two levels, that killer rooftop overlooking downtown and the side patio with a fire pit? YOU HAD ME AT HELLO. I also really dig your bartenders as they are welcoming and friendly beyond belief. But I will admit, my favorite part is your beer. I can't stop drinking the hoppy goodness you create and don't intend to stop anytime soon. Sure I can buy your brews at the liquor store (and now grocery!) but a beer fresh from the tap always tastes better - so expect me back...soon! Thank you sweet baby jesus for this delicious addition to Denver!

Brad L.

Yelp
We stopped at Odell twice in one week. The bartender was great on his recommendations for beer and for the weekly trivia they have at their location. They offer flights of beer and all were very tasty. We were from out of town and the bartender remembered us, which made the experience even better.

Carly W.

Yelp
I can't even express how excited I am that Odell Brewing has opened a taproom in the RiNo neighborhood. There's literally sooo much to love! Star #1: The space is EPIC! Exposed brick everywhere, two stories of seating including several patio spaces, and the best natural woods throughout. They have the most creative light fixture in the front window and great art on the side of the building. I just love the details! Star #2: The brews - duh! My fellow brewery-goer and I opted for full pours of the Guava Gose and the Trifecta Superfruit Tart. Both were phenomenal! The colors were outstanding and they had just the right amount of tart and sour notes. The Trifecta Superfruit Tart features the perfect blend of blueberry, Asian pear, pomegranate, and acai. Star #3: While our interaction with the beertender was brief, she was super kind and helpful. We had zero wait time between placing our order and receiving our cold perfectly poured brews. Yay! Star #4: Location, location, location! Odell Brewing Company is located on Larimer Street in the heart of the RiNo Neighborhood. While they don't have food of their own; there are TONS of options within reasonable walking distance While I was able to pick up a key-chain bottle opener; I was a little disappointed in the lack of schwag they feature at this location. Hopefully that changes in the future. All in all, Odell Brewing Company was a solid spot on our RiNo brew tour! I can't wait to come back and check out more of their offerings and soak up all the vibes.

Jessica J.

Yelp
This place is popular and with good reason. Odell brews specialty brews here that they don't sell anywhere else. Not to mention they are right next to Shake Shack (and many people bring bags of greasy goodness in to the brewing company). We tried an IPA and the superfruit tart (that was almost more juice than beer). Nice vibe - a courtyard, rooftop and a bar/tables inside. They do have to see everyone's ID and stamp your hand at the bar (would be nice if they did this at the door). Just a note, there are several stairs to get into the main bar (1 in doorway, then as you turn in 2 more), which if you can't do stairs (like I couldn't a month ago when on a knee scooter) you have to get them to open the side courtyard to get in (which wasn't open the day we went when I was on a scooter), but it is still a pain since you have to go to the bar to get a drink (can't send someone in for you). Anyways, it is an annoyance and not very accessible for those that need it. They probably don't care since they pack them in. It is a fun place for beer lovers though!

Sabine F.

Yelp
Loved Larimer beer. Odell is a very popular spot in Denver. Enjoy the outdoor seating area and their beers. This is a must visit place if you are in the Denver area and are in for a beer tour.

Nicole P.

Yelp
Great beer, cool space with two floors and multiple patios, good people and dog watching out front.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Huge fan of the vibe here and the purple beers was delicious (and pretty!). I'll be back to get that beer again, I'm still thinking about it days later.

Amanda J.

Yelp
You can smell the burgers from the rooftop patio. Great selection of beers, big fan of the sabro and the hop wok. The brewery is pretty big but fills up quick on a Friday afternoon. There's a patio between Odell and shake shack and there's another one on the second floor. The breweries in Rino just keep getting better!

Claire M.

Yelp
So glad Odell has come to downtown Denver! Great brews and a very cool spot with an outdoor patio and rooftop. This place will be packed all the time, no doubt. My boyfriend and I just went for the first time yesterday and were able to use our Denver Passport for BOGO beers. I got the Pineapple Weisse & he got the Double IPA - both were delicious! I'm sure we'll be back many more times to try all of their beer!

Sabine M.

Yelp
We have been waiting for this brewery to open!! AND it doesn't disappoint. They did an absolute beautiful job on the remodel of an old Denver building. There are 2 patios, one upstairs and one downstairs. Don't miss the crazy cool mural by the downstairs patio. Doggie friendly downstairs patio. Oh! And the beer is tasty too! Thumbs up for the Coffee stout. I'll post a pic of the tap list.

Hector B.

Yelp
Fun day! Great beverages. Wonderful service. Great time! It's a great stop that's nicely designed and fun environment
