"Odette is a well-known eatery of the trendy Châtelain neighbourhood. The stylish 1920’s townhouse aims to combine British style, Parisian sensuality and New York glamour. The highly varied menu is equally fascinating: both classical and international, with an accent on the ingredient. Crunchy nems in a spicy sauce, al dente taglioni in lemon with pink shrimps, scallops and foie gras in a duck stock: a festival for fine food lovers. And why not treat yourself to one of the swish designer-inspired guestrooms to finish your evening in the lap of luxury?" - Michelin Inspector
"A 1920s townhouse in Brussels ’ well-heeled Châtelain neighborhood, the intimate, Fellini-inspired Odette en Ville might as well be your fashionable Belgian friends’ pied-à-terre in the European capital. Its older sibling, Chez Odette, a landmark restaurant and inn, is hidden away in the tiny village of Williers, on the French-Belgian border, and when the Brussels iteration opened, it dressed up with all the panache of a newer arrival: a little bit flashier, a little bit sleeker, a little bit more urbane. Its marble bathrooms, dark walls, and chrome accents all feel very grown-up, but roll-top tubs, fireplaces, and vintage decor reveal those homey country roots, as does the fresh, unpretentious cuisine, including the homemade jam at breakfast. With just eight rooms, the hotel feels intimate and private, an atmosphere only enhanced by the private library, a cozy lounge (notably, adjacent to the bar) with overstuffed leather Chesterfields, vintage chess sets, shelves of art books, and a working fireplace."

A disappointing experience. Maybe it was before their holiday and they were tired ! I took their kind of signature plate the tataki style meat but it was full of tendon or nerves not very chewable. The fries were thin style more like chips than Belgian fries , apparently before they had thick fries , you can’t miss fries in Belgium if you want to be a good restaurant. The dessert was good , the service excellent, that is why they don’t get 2 stars. You may find better alternatives in Brussels to have a good meat . The bar service was excellent too.

Everything was really lovely ,the atmosphere, the cocktails, the staff, all simply adorable. I went there to celebrate my birthday, and I must say I made the right choice… impeccable!

We had lunch here for the first time. Food and drinks are very good but the service is lacking. Took a long time to get our main dishes. The waiters seemed a bit confused and constantly kept asking if 'everything is good' which gets annoying after the first time.
Way overpriced for what it is, or tries to be.

Good place to have dinner.
We had a good experience overall as rhe service was good and the food was on good quality and tasty.
However, I feel like by the way they advertise themselves and for the price, I would have expected something more.
Great, place nonetheless.

Good food, a hint of glamour, nice terrace and attentive friendly service. A great place! Not cheap but the quality is related with the price. Perhaps one remarque: the caution one has to pay in case one needs to cancel at the day itself (before 11 am) is too high. 75 euros a person is enormous. I understand the need and don't have a problem to compensate losses but 75 euro is about the average spend one pays in this restaurant per person. I would find it more logical if the profit loss would be charged. This element doesn't feel very customer oriented.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was surprisingly excellent – attentive, friendly, and efficient.
The only downside was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was quite hot, and it felt like there was no proper air conditioning or ventilation

Very nice setting, excellent starter and main course. Great service. Fair check. The socalled "snicker" dessert was not good. A pity. But we will certainly be back and start with a Ruinart champaign.

Yelp
Um, I think I found hotel heaven! Odette en Ville is now my favorite hotel on Earth!
I wasn't expecting to be blown away by my one-night stay at Odette because I reserved the standard room, which we all know is never the ideal way to experience a hotel, but my stay was perfect down to the finest detail.
From the outset, the building itself is ridiculously adorable. Situated on the corner of the charming rue Chatelain, the two-floor hotel is chicissime in cool grey and black tones, replete with a sexy bar-lounge, porcelain chandeliered dining room and plush carpeted stairwell that makes you feel like you're staying in a private residence.
The receptionist was super sweet and lead me up to my room, which when I entered, was so spacious that I thought they had screwed up my reservation and given me a suite (I asked just to be sure). From the giant, super comfortable bed, cozy work station, gorgeous bathroom with marble bath to the subtle lighting, fab bath products, super fast and free WiFI, and even the fruit salad they left out for me as a pre-dinner snack, there was not a single detail overlooked!

Yelp
awful service!
As many reviewers have reported, the main problem with this place is the service. You can wait for ages before the waiter comes to take your order.. note that the bar is empty apart from our table! Also the lady at the front desk is constantly swiping on her phone, not paying attention to visitors, and don't even dream about a "good evening"! l really wonder based on what these people got a job!!

Yelp
Odette en ville is back!!! After change of ownership Odette is finally back, food is very nice, fresh ingredients and smiling and professional service. Rooms are unchanged, location is still as perfect as in the past. We will be back.

Yelp
Three stars for the atmosphere and I should give 5 for the service. You feel truly pampered and glamorous having lunch at Odette. Unfortunately the food isn't up to the rest but it s something you end up forgetting once you feel that good:) in brief: average food, top service and atmosphere. I prefer it for an intimate lunch since at dinner it is too dark.
