Great industrial location off the 605. We were a party of 9 with a 10 minute wait. Sat in the patio with great October weather. They quickly took our orders and within 10 minutes had all our orders. The food was exceptional. One of the better breakfast places I've been to. The entries were delicious and the portions plenty. I strongly recommend this place. The service was great and servers friendly.

Google
The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. I also liked the Alfredo skillet. Cinnamon French toast had a little too much egg batter for my liking, but still good. We got lucky and were seated right away. Orange juice is a must try at breakfast. Service was average.

Google
Great customer service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and is well served. We had the cinnamon roll French toast, the house skillet, California omelette and a kids meal “chicken strips”. The French vanilla cappuccino was really good. I totally recommend this place !

I knew it was going to be good when I saw a ton of people waiting outside. Luckily the line moves quickly; I waited three minutes. My waitress was very sweet and recommended the best option based on what I wanted. The best waffle 🧇 ever! I had sides, house potatoes, sausage links and eggs. Im very plain did not taste the salsa. Thank you Chelsey for your great service!

Google
Service here is always great. Came here before with friends early morning. Wanted to check it out again today just my husband and I. BLT on sourdough was hard to eat, fries weren’t cooked enough. The chorizo on the Alfredo skillet was way too salty. We will be back to try other dishes. Still like this place.

Google
I loved the service at this place! My family and I went to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We were seated quickly (we went on a Wednesday morning) & we received our food shortly after placing our order. The menu had plenty of options & variety. I wish the food had a little bit more flavor, but it was still good.

Google
I came here with a party of four maybe 1.5 hours before they closed. They were extremely busy and the wait was very long, but they were extremely accommodating and the line went by quite fast and we were seated shortly. The service was extremely fast once we were seated, I ordered the house skillet and added an avocado and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly filling. Im excited to come back another time!

Google
Cute cafe in an industrial area. Loved their avocado toast with scrambled eggs & iced cold brew with sweet cream. Great service. Also has outdoor patio.

Yelp
service is very good. Busy restaurant, expect to wait 40 minutes. Food is good and came out fast. I will come back again and try there country fried steak

Yelp
Off Street Cafe is a breakfast/brunch staple in the Cerritos/Artesia area! This spot is open everyday from the hours of 7am-2pm. If you stop by on a weekend, best believe there will be a wait time! I would recommend coming as early as you can to put your name down on the waitlist. They have their own parking lot with a good amount of spots with some street parking options available as well. Inside, they have a good amount of seating with an outdoor patio with more seating too. Wifey and I stopped by for some breakfast with our family and waited about 15 mins to be seated. Wifey got the Alfredo Skillet with a Belgian Waffle on the side and I got the Gordo Breakfast Burger. Everything we had was delicious and the portions were super generous! Overall, you really cannot go wrong with a stop for brunch here. This spot is great for the family, friends, or even a date. All of the staff here are very friendly and efficient. There is definitely a reason why this spot has over 3,000+ positive reviews!

Yelp
Well, I gotta say I really like this place, Food five stars service five stars the reason for the negative star is it can get really busy and wait times can be long. I've been coming here for years and never reviewed this place before like I said it does get busy, but if you sit at the counter, never really a problem. The service here is first class, their attentive, and you never have to ask for a refill on coffee or water. The food here is great. You can't go wrong with any options on the menu as everything is really good. My last trip. I got the pork chops and eggs and swapped out toast for pancakes, which makes for a delicious meal and it doesn't break the bank either if you're looking for a great breakfast place do yourself a favor. Come check it out, all of the scrambles are good. The pancakes are delicious and my opinion the pork chops are amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot for the family. Busy but the line loves super quickly. I am a fan of their pork chops and eggs. Homemade salsa is to die for. Fairly inexpensive and a family favorite for us.

Yelp
9/7/24 - during the So. Cal. Heat Wave! I hadn't been here in many years, but I never forgot about their awesome chocolate chip muffins.. they didn't have those today but it was still a great experience. We ordered the avocado toast & blackberry French toast. Both dishes were amazing. My favorite part was the house made salsa so so good. The service was welcoming & so nice. The ambiance is busy busy .. loud from all the conversations happening with happy customers.

Yelp
I've been to this breakfast spot several times, and I'm surprised I haven't left a review before. This place is definitely popular, so I always go early to avoid the crowd. The interior is decent, with a cozy patio area. However, the tables are a bit close to each other, which can feel a little cramped. Even with an early start, there was a 15-minute wait when we arrived around before 10am. I ordered the waffle and sausage, which was good. My friend went all out with the cinnamon roll French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns--a generous and satisfying amount of food. The food didn't disappoint, and the service was good. I'll definitely be returning!
google avatar

Cynthia A.

Yelp
I've been here about 3 times. I really liked it at first, but the last time I was there, I had a very underwhelming avocado toast. It was literally a squashed avocado on a plain piece of wheat toast. It did NOT look like the photo on their Yelp page, and there are no pictures on the menu. There was no creativity and no seasoning. I was expecting something else, I guess. I had an amazing avocado toast EXPERIENCE from a farmer's market in SD in the past so I know it can be done. They could have used a piece of artisan bread with options like red onion and tomato, for example. Instead, what I got was a lifeless, uninspired meal that I could have made better myself at home. That's on me for expecting something else and not knowing that the item was exactly that - avocado toast. The service was still very quick even though there's always a bunch of people waiting. I've always sat on the patio because the acoustics inside do not absorb noise enough for my sensitive ears. I still recommend this place, just be sure to read the menu descriptions carefully!

Yelp
Me and my friend wanted a quick, nice brunch that had delicious gluten free options! This place did not disappoint! The waffles (gluten free) were pillowy soft and delicious! The house potatoes were HEAVENLY and are also gluten free (not coated in flour and cooked on a pan, not deep fried) Parking lot and location can be a bit hard depending where you are entering through, but when found, plenty of parking!
google avatar

Patricia P.

Yelp
Best place for breakfast! Wait time is always perfect. Food is hot and fresh never disappointing.
google avatar

Yelp
Off Street Cafe is absolutely incredible! The food is fresh and the atmosphere is lively! The staff is friendly and helpful and don't mind if you sit and visit a spell! A great place to catch up! If you're alone, they have a nice lunch counter! This spot is very clean! Parking is a bit of a problem but if you don't mind walking it's easy to find a place! Make a reservation as it's always crowded and opened short hours... We had an egg salad sandwich at the recommendation of our server 5/5 with sweet potato fries and a turkey paining that was fresh and delightful! We will definitely be back! So many many options we want to try

Yelp
We were seated fairly quickly with minimal to no waiting time. Food came out fast and servers were quick to check up on our table and ask our party if we needed anything. I ordered a house omelette and my husband got the chicken with waffles. House omelette was savory and the salsa was spicy the way I wanted it. However the chicken that came with the chicken with waffles was very dry and the breading tasted strange. Wouldn't consider ordering anything with chicken here. Decent food but parking can be difficult.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place when you want brunch. There is the usual breakfast fare along with different mimosas and "adult beverages." Parking can be a challenge during peak meal times. You may have a little walk, but not much. During those times, be prepared to wait a few minutes as this place can be busy. The food is good and there are a lot of choices. We sat at the bar and got the best service in the whole place... plus, seating was immediate. Other patrons were friendly and even had a great conversation. The prices are what you would expect at most places and portions will fill up most people. Good value and good food.

Yelp
My dog is super happy when I order take-out from here They give a lot of food. I started giving one of my eggs to my dog as a treat. I request that they separate the eggs because my dog cannot handle the country gravy. They put the eggs in a separate container for me. Also, their take-out is ready in like 10-15 minutes. Another place I go to takes 40 minutes to cook the same dish. Superb Speed, quality and service.
google avatar

Yelp
Forgot to take pictures of the food. Oops! We had some friends that we wanted to have brunch with and so we landed upon this place because it was halfway for both of us. Seeing that it had many good reviews, we figured we would give this place a shot. TL;DR... it was nice to try something new, but won't be coming back. When coming here, you'll quickly realize this place is a popular spot. A lot of people come here! I put my name in and was seated pretty quickly for a Saturday morning around 9 am. Once seated (we were seated in a booth inside), the server came by to drop off the menu and she came back to take our orders later. Aside from delivering our menu, I think she came around once to check in and once to drop off the check. I took out my card and had it in hand for about 10 minutes until I just went ahead and went to the front to pay. Weird that she didn't come back to take my payment. As for the food, we split a California burrito with bacon and a cinnamon French toast. The food came out great quick!! Like really fast. The plating was average. Nothing special. The food was good, but nothing special. I guess I had expectations that the presentation would be better at this price point, but I guess not. Overall, everything was average. Hence, 3/5 stars. Cheers!

Yelp
I was such a big fan of this place years ago, but I don't know what happened over the years. Hey, they still get very busy shortly after opening, so I guess they are still doing everything right for most people. Their cinnamon roll is still one of my favorite here. I really enjoyed it even on my last visit. It was always free with Yelp check in, and the deal always came back. However I marked it as read yesterday and it went away. I am not sure why I did that since they almost never have you do that. So that is still delicious. The service is still friendly enough, but not the same. A lot of the staff is very quiet and will check on you once or so after your meal comes. It seems like after the infamous year of 2020, things went downhill here some in my book. They took some of our favorite items away that brought us back here often. I got the chilaquiles verdes on my last visit and the plate had a lot more beans than chips and the chips were soggy right away. The sauce was light but they did provide a side of salsa on the side. I had a piece of Steven's sourdough toast and it tasted odd to me. I'm sure we will still come by here but my overall experience has gone downhill and some of those items we loved are gone.

Yelp
My wife and I came for breakfast for the first time.We had a Yelp recommendation. I ordered the California omelet was exceptional. It had a lovely texture, mixture of ingredients (bacon, onion avocado and cheese. The seasoning was perfect. It came with Salsa which is homemade and not from jar, delicious . I chose the the hash browns as my side, they were plentiful and crispy. I also had the wheat toast with the delicious homemade jam. The place was packed @10 AM. Even so our food literally arrived less than 10 minutes after we ordered it. Our server Missy R , gave exceptional service . We will differently be back
google avatar

Sharonda W.

Yelp
Missy was a wonderful server! Very friendly and attentive and brought our family of four food out at the same time! We stopped by before our flight. The food was so delicious and the ambiance was quiet and nice weather we sat outside.
google avatar

Lilian B.

Yelp
First time! Always a lot of ppl waiting outside so wanted to come! Place is always full, parking is free, be careful where you park since there are office designated parking spaces as well. Menu is simple, breakfast and lunch! Everything looked so yummy! The service was exceptional, they were quick and very kind. I would come again!
google avatar

Jaeden Y.

Yelp
Been here for brunch through the years and it was good enough this most recent visit. Very wide array of breakfast options and some lunch ones as well. The menu is kind of overwhelming! Very long waits and super busy on the weekends. Took around 45 min for us to get seated on a Sunday around 11. They have a waitlist system where they text you to confirm you're still there which is good because people do tend to leave which used to delay your seating time even more. But it's more efficient now. We were seated outside on a cold rainy day but good thing they had heaters! Our server was very nice, friendly, and attentive to us. What we ordered: -chicken and waffle: Chicken was kind of tough and was pretty seasoned. It was okay, but the waffle on the other hand was very good and fluffy! I'm not usually a fan of Belgian waffles but this one hit. -applewood bacon & eggs plate: I got this with hash browns and sourdough toast. A very basic, classic breakfast that you can't go wrong with. Bacon was on the soggier side which I'm not a fan of and hash browns were crispy but kind of bland. Overall a good basic breakfast though. -California burrito: My brother got this and he loved it so you've definitely got to try this if you come here. -onion rings: Very crunchy and yummy! Nothing fancy but will definitely fulfill the onion ring craving. Overall, I feel like the food isn't enough to justify the long waits. I feel like this is one of the few decent brunch spots that is local so that's why you're waiting so long. It's on the pricier side and good but nothing super special, but I feel like the portions are big enough to justify the price. Will probably come back but not anytime soon.

Yelp
The food is awful! Not Worth it! Don't go- it's a waste of time and money!! The food is worst than cafeteria!! It Tate's like they just heat up canned and premade food. This place used to be amazing in its heyday. Now it is worthless!!

Yelp
INSTAGRAMMABLE SPOT WITH DELICIOUS EATS! Sat at the bar and enjoyed: Rustic charm & vibes: Aesthetic decor, perfect for influencers DELICIOUS FOOD: - Breakfast burrito: fluffy scrambled eggs, machaca - Pancakes with homemade fruit compote: sweet and tangy However: STAFF NEEDS WORK: - Friendly but slightly disorganized - Overheard arguing over tasks while sitting at the bar RECOMMENDATION: - Bring a date or family; not ideal for solo visits - Come for brunch, stay for the vibes RATING BREAKDOWN: - Food Quality: 4.5/5 - Service: 3/5 - Atmosphere: 5/5 - Value: 4/5 Will I return? Yes, with friends! Tips: - Sit at the bar for a more lively experience - Get there early for optimal natural light - Try their seasonal specials

Yelp
I have been here so many times and I am sad if I didn't review in the past. Long overdue! First off #1 local place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. One of my favorite things is the menu variety. Options for kids, vegetarians and variety for those of us that prefer lunch over breakfast. All of the options are available during all hours. Personally I love the BLT, all of the muffins and most of the omelettes. The chicken fried steak is great and my husband loves the fried chicken and waffles. To be honest nothing has ever been disappointing both dine in and delivery (but we live close). Great vibe, whether sitting inside or patio, both are a great vibe. Service is always amazing but you may have a wait to be seated so be patient, it is worth it! They don't take reservations, from what I know, Great food, great vibe, been going for 5+ years and never disappoints.

Yelp
Food = 8/10 Service = N/A Ambiance = Takeout I recently placed a phone order with Off Street Café for pickup, and while the food was ready on time and the order was correct, I was surprised to find that a 15% gratuity had been automatically added to my bill. I understand gratuities are customary for good service, but in this case, I simply picked up the food myself. Gratuities should be optional and reserved for exceptional service, not automatically applied to takeout orders. Tipping is a way to reward servers for going above and beyond, especially when dining in, but it feels inappropriate for a takeout situation where there's no table service or extra effort involved. I believe customers should have the choice to tip based on their experience rather than having it preemptively added to the bill. In the future, I hope Off Street Café reconsiders this practice and gives customers the freedom to tip based on service received, not as a mandatory charge.

Benjamin A.

Yelp
This place is GREAT. The only negative is how popular it is. The food and service are both excellent.

Yelp
2nd time coming here and it's packed again so yes the food is really that good the wait was not that bad 20-25 min that was pretty cool I like how they text you a link and you can see your place in line and wait time it only took like 18 min to get seated and right away they asked us for our drinks when they came back with them we placed our food order it that came really fast also like 5 min tops they really have great customer service here this time we had Nate helping us he also was really good I had the chorizo skillet it was bomb I definitely recommend it my wife had the house skillet and she also said it was delicious and last my daughter had the avocado toast and she also said it tasted amazing I really like this place the hole vibe of this place makes you feel like home I'm definitely coming back again till next time see u soon

Leonard N Annamarie O.

Yelp
Food is always good. Pork chops and eggs a very tasty. But I was distracted by spider webs all over the outside patio Oh and a hair on the bottom of my biscuit and gravy.
google avatar

Dee G.

Yelp
Service was great! Food was brought to us fast and steaming hot. Staff was attentive and was was delicious.
google avatar

Sabrina A.

Yelp
Always love coming here for breakfast! Even on their busiest days you'd wait no more than 45 minutes for a table. The servers are all so sweet and welcoming, and anything on their menu is delicious! Very clean, lots of seating, and they have a nice out door patio. You have to try their cinnamon rolls if you're a first timer- & their waffles are amazing. Also love their home style potatoes, bacon, & sausage!
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
Food: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 9/10 Talk about a hidden but local favorite spot in Cerritos! Hidden because you wouldn't expect this place to be where its location is, but being a favorite local spot is easy to see why. I beat the morning rush and the self seating bar area was incredible. Had the Eggs Benedict and my friend had the corn beef hash. Food was really tasty and it came out fast! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For my sweet tooth folks, try the cinnamon roll, you're welcome! Definitely get there early because it can easily be a long wait for a table.
google avatar

Yelp
Great family restaurant to enjoy a good meal. There are no reservations, it's first come first served. Came around 8am and waited 25min for the table. Once seated we were greeted right away. We were helped by Nathan and he was wonderful. Took our order right away and I have to have to say I think we took longer in deciding what to order than how long the food took to come out. Great ambiance and they also have a heated patio. Food portion is awesome and delicious! Priced just right. Highly recommend. Forgot to mention they baked their muffins. Big win!

Maricela L.

Yelp
The food was very tasty. The service was amazing. The ambiance warm and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean to say the least.
google avatar

Maraye L.

Yelp
First time here. I love the food, the ambiance, the service! Definitely coming back here
google avatar

Loretta W.

Yelp
Yummy food, but there is most always a long wait. They have weekend specials and skillets that are my fav. Today we had the a decadent cinnamon roll, and we shared the Alfredo skillet (chorizo, eggs, potatoes, and more). It was super tasty, but quite greasy. I love chorizo, but it's a greasy meat. lol The restaurant is busy, loud, and has a rushed feeling. Definitely not a place to go if you want to chat, hang out, and get to know someone.
google avatar

Debra T.

Yelp
Just went here for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised how good it was! Very cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent with great prices, and the service was very good with our server very pleasant and friendly. Not crowded, but was told it was unusual to not have a crowd. So happy we went.
google avatar

Tazneen S.

Yelp
Food was okay but could have been little bit better. Service was pretty much okay and ambiance is great.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
Ordered through Toast (Google) and was given a hidden 15% gratuity charge without warning. Didn't see this until I saw the stapled paper bill on my pick-up. Estimate ready time was wrong. They were superfast and had my order ready in 5 minutes when I am 20 minutes away. The food was suppose to take 18-33 mins. My order was pretty cold by the time I got it home. Nothing wrong with the food. It was a good diner breakfast, but it would have been better without the hidden charge and if it was still warm.
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
Dependable, friendly, consistent and always a good experiences have been the hallmark of all my visits that represents the food to the cleanness to servers to wait time and overall vibe!!
google avatar

Betty S.

Yelp
I came here based off the stars and the 3k reviews. here is my experience. food: basic service: basic ambiance: loud (tables are jammed together) venue is small.
google avatar

Luis C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite breakfast spots and worth the wait, which on certain days can be over an hour. The breakfast menu boasts with an array of great American style entrees that will transport you to your Grandma's kitchen!! We've been here on several occasions and everything we tried has been very good and delicious. The staff and servers are amazing and attentive despite the bustling atmosphere. We love coming here, it never disappoints, and will be back.
google avatar

Rox C.

Yelp
This small, almost seemingly tucked away restaurant sits inside a almost business like area. Anyhow, there is seating outside to wait as they do get very busy. Upon walking in the space is rather small but makes do. There is a counter where you don't need to leave your name for. Just as soon as you see an opening go for it. We were waiting and a couple came in about 20 mins after and literally ran us over to get the seats. Excuse me said.. haha nope! Not mad at them. Just surprised at the action. Guess she as hungry. Now on to the service. Our waitress was great, brought our our drinks quickly and the food soon followed after that. My sister and I both order the chicken enchilada omelette. Very interesting. And a cinnamon roll to go. Everything was flavorful. Which made the overall experience fantastic. I will say the wait was a little long, but worth the wait. Definitely will travel again to enjoy something else.
google avatar

Bo Bae J.

Yelp
My favorite brunch place. The staff is always so pleasant. The food is fresh and clean. I've tried basically everything on the menu by this point and no disappointments. The parking is really limited and the wait is a bit long at peak hours so just go early or late!
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
Came here for a group brunch and had a great time! I ordered the Off Street which came with two sausages, two slices of bacon, two eggs, and two pancakes. It was solid and I'm not big on sweets for breakfast but I loved the pancakes, they were so fluffy and kept me wanting another bite. We also got the Cinnamon Roll French Toast for the table. I thought the pancakes were better than the French toast. The French toast was stodgy and the cinnamon roll was not as soft as I'd hoped it would be. The rest of the group ordered omelets and I tried a bite of the house omelet. Would definitely order that next time!

Yelp
Food was delicious. Hot, fresh, and fast service. Our waitress was a blonde, mid aged lady. Gosh I wish I remembered her name. She was so kind, patient and on top of her tables. Very professional, and you could tell that she has years of experience. The ambiance was clean, bright, and well organized. It was not overcrowded, there was structure and we will most definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely experience.
google avatar

Christopher L.

Yelp
Food was good. We went later around 1:30, they close at 2pm. The previous times we have tried to go in a Sunday it was absolutely slammed...means the food is good but didn't want to wait. I have the machaca burrito and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both we tasty and we finished our plates.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot love.food and service Everything is Everything no complaint... long line short wait

Godley V.

Yelp
Fantastic little breakfast spot that is often busy on the weekends. However, they turn tables pretty quickly, and there is a 90-minute limit when dining in. The food is high-quality, generously portioned, and a good value for the quality & quantity you get. Staff are efficient, and our server Melissa was super friendly. We arrived around 9am on a Saturday, and the stated wait time was around 25 minutes for our party of 2 who said we would take the first available table. We were 9th on the list for any sized group, and we ended up getting seated in about 10 minutes. I ordered the Raul scramble with sourdough toast, hashbrowns, and coffee. My son had the chicken & waffles. We were both pleased with our order and neither could finish our meal. You could see the kitchen was teeming with busy, quickly working gents which explains why our order came out quickly but hot & fresh. I would gladly come back here when back in the area. It is certainly a neighborhood gem!

Yelp
3.5 stars There was a 15-20 minute wait but they moved the line really fast. We started at the 17th spot and were seated within 30 minutes. The menu was really hard for me to navigate. I think for a place that is clearly rushing people through, they would make it easier to find things on the menu. I think one suggestion would be to group similar entrees together, and have more of a standard of what is included on the side of each dish. The menu was just overwhelming and the atmosphere was loud, so my neurodivergent brain struggled to make sense of it. The food was great! The eggs Benedict and cinnamon roll French toast had good portions and flavor was good. Our waitress was also very on top of keeping our waters full and making sure we had napkins. That being said- we also ordered a cappuccino and it tasted like hot water. A place that has Cafe in the name I just expect there to be passable coffee options. Cappuccino I thought would be hard to mess up, but it was not good. We tried a few sips and then left it because it didn't even taste like there was coffee present. The other issues were the bathroom- the women's restroom was out of service, and they had me use the men's restroom. But their only working bathroom had no toilet paper. And then there was no clear way to pay- eventually it seemed that each of the waitstaff had card readers (which is awesome, don't get me wrong), but we were not made aware of that and our waitress didn't say anything about it, despite having left our check at our table. We even left our card out on top of the receipt to signal we were ready to pay, and we asked another staff member if we needed to pay at the front. At a place that seems to prize keeping customers moving to free up tables, this seems like a key piece of information to share so that customers who are definitely done with their meal can be freed up to leave. Overall, it was fine. I just feel like there are a few balls that were dropped that would have made this spot a must repeat for me.

Yelp
Fantastic brunch area in a hidden spot. We checked in during noon time & were seated within 5 minutes. There's tables, booths, and an outdoor area. The place is super attractive and clean. The staff all works diligently and everything runs smoothly. We ordered the kids pancakes, egg and sausage, kids tenders and fries, carne asada plate & the vegetarian. The food was amazing. The house made jam and the fresh salsa was incredible. Everything was packed with flavor. The price is great for the quality and portion size. I highly recommend this place.
