I stopped by Oh La La La in Pasadena near my job and instantly fell in love. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, cozy, and welcoming. It is not loud or chaotic, which makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch, a solo reset, or even a casual meeting.
I ordered the Brioche Eggs Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. Light, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was not overly heavy, which I actually appreciated, because I could enjoy every bite without feeling stuffed. I also tried the French onion soup without the cheese since I am lactose sensitive, and it was still incredibly rich and satisfying. That broth alone speaks for itself.
The fresh orange juice deserves its own moment. You can taste that it is freshly squeezed, bright, and refreshing. No watered down flavor, just pure citrus goodness.
The staff is very pleasant and attentive, and while the food does take a little time, you can tell it is made with care. Plus, the pastries are so delicious they make the wait completely worth it. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, not rushed.
This is definitely a new favorite for me. Great food, peaceful vibe, quality ingredients, and friendly service. I will absolutely be back, and next time I am bringing someone with me.
