Where to Eat in Denver’s LoHi Neighborhood | Eater Denver

"Though Denver’s first poke purveyor is still one of its best, there’s more to this sunny counter joint than its seafood signature: Kalua pork, Spam musubi, curry rice, mac salad, and more round out the menu for a whirlwind trip to the islands." - Josie Sexton

Ohana Island Kitchen Review - Lohi - Denver - The Infatuation

"This small LoHi Hawaiian spot works great for a healthy solo lunch or a place to meet your younger cousin who wants to get your perspective on their LinkedIn networking strategy. To mitigate the absolute bizarreness of that conversation, get one of their consistently excellent poke bowls and a spam musabi, a.k.a. one of the best handheld foods ever invented. 15 Poke Bowls to Try in Denver | Eater Denver

"From a small walk-up window in LoHi, Ohana earned a following and became a go-to lunchtime destination two summers ago. The husband-wife duo behind it took their act to a brick-and-mortar operation across the street, and there they dish out shoyu and spicy tuna bowls, with salmon specials every so often. For some real island flair, the spam musubi is not to be missed." - Gigi Sukin

Food pictured: Spicy tuna poke bowls, spam musubi, Japanese pickles, kimchi, mac salad and Kalua pork. Not pictured: Injoycha local kombucha. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! The owner was very kind and welcoming, offering a sample of the delicious Kalua pork. There is an interior and a shady exterior eating area. Highly recommend!

Google
There are a handful of good poke restaurants in Denver, however no one quite does it like Ohana. Ive come to eat here a handful of times now, there’s something so deliciously satisfying about the simplicity and love that goes into each bowl. Today I came in for my usual, a spicy tuna bowl with avacado and sweet onion bits . I noticed a new face come out from behind the kitchen and immediately could tell he was the owner. He was kindly asking guests how their food was and thanking us all for coming in. That really hit home for me as it’s not a common thing you see these days anymore within the hospitality industry. Thank you Ohana for keeping it real and spreading the love. I can’t recommend this place enough

Google
Visiting from Indiana & heard about this local Hawaiian restaurant. I’ve had a HUGE craving for mac salad & this place did NOT disappoint! Me & my husband got the spicy poke (half rice/kale), the kalua pork curry & a side of mac salad. Everything was absolutely delicious! We’ll definitely stop back when we visit Denver in the future!

Google
I lived in hawaii for 9 years and know great poke. Theirs was good but not the best ive had in denver. Portion size was enough but could have had more. Fish quality was pretty good, but again not the best. Mac salad was good too. I really liked the outside area with tables though - nice and shaded!

Google
Small mom and pop place in a pretty trendy area. Environment is not bad but food unfortunately is pretty meh~ portion is on the smaller end and the two scoop of Mac Salad was $6 and it was way salty (like L&L Hawaiian much better) The poke was too salty as well. With lots of choices around town, probably won’t be back.

Google
Cheeee HOOOOOOOO! What a FIND!!! Stumbled upon this place and considering we moved from Hawaii had LOW expectations after trying multiple “Hawaiian” food joints in Colorado, ALWAYS left disappointed. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT HAWAIIAN FOOD! Every thing we tried was BROKE DA MOUT ONO-LICIOUS!!! The poke was like braddah wen Pier 38 this morning and get em FRESH OFF THE WATER! I’m not even blowing smoke, this was THE FRESHEST TASTING FISH I’VE EVER HAD IN COLORADO!!! Every flavor of every dish was like being back in the aina!!! Louie the owner was the embodiment of ALOHA and felt like I was at his hale and treated like Ohana. His staff was amazing and service was maikaʻi loa!!! This is THE ONLY place I would EVER recommend in Colorado and I’ll be driving to Denver JUST for these grinds!!! Worth EVERY minute of the drive! If you wanna experience what it’s like to eat REAL Hawaiian food with the most important ingredient, ALOHA, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Much mahalos for the INCREDIBLE food and true ALOHA Louie and staff! You made me feel like I was back in the aina for a brief moment and had me missing home!! Look forward to my next visit to the OHANA ISLAND KITCHEN!!🤙🙏🤙 Lopaka, Lynette and the keiki🌺

Google
The food here was great, the portions just seemed a little small for the expensive price they had. Also the lady at the counter had a bit of an attitude. Besides that, they had a larger selection of Hawaiian sodas than I usually see, and their spam musubi was WAY better than most places I get it at. Worth a visit for sure. They're lucky I tipped

Google
This restaurant is a hidden gem! I happen to come across it right before work and had to go in. The employees were helpful with suggestions, and the owner was incredibly kind. You can tell there is so much passion in that kitchen! The food was incredible! I tried the curry and pork and was blown away. I would highly recommend this place if you’re craving island food or ever want to try it!

Yelp
Super fresh and yummy! The tuna was really flavorful and not too fishy. Simple yet delicious

Yelp
As a local born and raised in Hawaii, this place is pretty good for being located in Denver. The spicy tuna and spam musubi wasONO! super fire! Unfortunately the mac salad misses, it was not what I'm used to (not as creamy and the seasoning was a little off?). The shop is located in the Highlands and is super cute! I loved the local touches in the shop. Service was great as well! Full of Aloha! -1 star just for the odd tasting mac salad (in my opinion).

Yelp
Service was quick, parking can be challenging on weekends- as there is no dedicated parking lot. I order the half rice and half kale spicy poke. The poke was a bit too slathered in mayo and the fish wasn't super fresh. Would probably not return.
google avatar

Joseph F.

Yelp
Small little shop with so much to delicious food to offer. The poke bowl was fresh, simple and delicious. They don't try to overcompensate by adding a bunch of additions to the dish. All of their options are priced fairly too. Service was quick and painless and they were able to notify me of options with my gluten allergy.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
Get the Kuala Pork Mixed Plate! Good amount of food and good pork and Mac salad. Poke is only tuna so it's limited options. Small dining area so prepare to eat else where or they have 2 sets of bar table for 2 and 2 sets of picnic table Park parallel on road

Yelp
Food: Fairly disappointed with our pick up order tonight. (1) Spam Musubi: you can tell the spam and rice were super old/stale and it was not good at all. (2) Mini Japanese Curry: we were intrigued because we got some curry in Japan that was too die for. This wasn't anything near the quality we got in Japan but it wasn't terrible. Not good enough to want/get again though. (3) Spicy tuna poke bowl: Rice tasted super old/stale. The ahi was super fishy and not fresh. (4) Mac Salad: The best thing at this place but I've honestly had better at other Hawaiian places (5) Macaroons: we ordered the 4 pack and received only 3. They were tasty though.

Yelp
Been on my list to try. Happy we made it. Spam Musubi was excellent. Large and filling. Spicy minced tuna poke was also quote tasty, fresh and sizable. Will definitely come back.
google avatar

Teresa C.

Yelp
This is a small, unpretentious eatery that serves delicious, tender kalua pork. The kalua pork bento box isn't a bento box per se, but it is delicious, with shredded pork on one side and steamed rice with sesame nori sprinkle on top with two types of pickles on the side. There is a nice space outside to sit and enjoy, or stay inside at one of the two picnic tables or highboy tables for two. The one thing that would make it better is to deep clean the dining area.

Yelp
Came for lunch and had an amazing meal here! Kings Hawaiian sliders were solid, but the highlight was the mini spicy tuna poke bowl - so good. Spam musubi was also great!

Noeau W.

Yelp
Not authentic. Very pricey. Coming from Hawaii I lowered my expectations & it still wasn't met. Its pronounced "po-keh" not "poky." I ordered the kalua pork plate and added poke, the addition was $6 & I pretty much got 6 slices of ahi tuna. The Kalua pig was also a very small portion. Like many other "Poke" places you are buying majority salad / rice. Selling hawaiian sun cans for the $3 you might as well check out your nearest asian market. Staff looks / acts like young kids. I understand business, but I was disappointed.

Yelp
:: Food :: The poke bowl we ordered was pretty salty, but beside that the flavor was there, and the mac salad was okay, it was more peppery than what I am used to. :: Service :: Customer service is good. :: Parking :: There's only street parking it seems. :: Restroom :: Yes, there's a restroom.

Yelp
I tried this place when I was visiting Denver, and I had a taste for authentic Hawaiian food after realizing Denver had lots of Hawaii restaurants. I was disappointed with the food. I received the Kaluha Pork Mix Plate, which came with pork, rice and a salad. There was lots of salad, which was a good thing. The plate seemed like it was slim on the meat, which was unfortunate. The meat I did have was fine, but it didn't blow me away and seemed like it needed more sauce. The rice was fine, but I would've taken more meat over lots of rice. The customer service was great and the delivery was quick. There was no way to denote the order was gluten free when ordering online, but I called and they worked it out fairly easily.

Yelp
This has become my favorite Hawaiian restaurant in Denver. This place doesn't just serve poke: although the menu is not expensive, I really like the selection of items they serve. Its ambience is so matching with the cuisine. Mint colored walls with cute decorations are adorable to say the least. It's quite petite inside so this place is more for to-gos. I wonder what it's be like during the peak lunch hour. The young man behind the counter was very courteous and friendly. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of my arrival but maybe it was a Tuesday night?? After I had placed my order several people came in as if to jinx it. The Kahlua Pork is an amazing dish. I was truly impressed with the macaroni salad. I've been to a Hawaiian restaurant in Aurora but their macaroni was too decadent/rich to a point where it made me concerned about the calories. With that in mind, this place does a great job with it. Can't wait to dine here again. I'd definitely try one of their poke bowls next time.

Yelp
Maddie was awesome. I've never been here and she recommended the pork and I had two servings of their amazing homemade macaroni salad. Love all the spices on the steamed rice and tried their Hawaiian Luau BBQ and original crispy and crunchy Gluten Free chips. Awesome atmosphere and great location near Ball arena, Coors Field and Mile High! Come get your Hawaiian on at Ohana!

Carly B.

Yelp
One of my favorite neighborhood spots! I always get the spicy tuna combo. The kale salad is so fresh and the poke is delicious. Everyone at the counter is always kind and smiling. Always a reliable stop
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
I cannot describe how amazing this place is in any of the words that this box can contain, it truly is a masterful delivery of Hawaiian delicacies landlocked inside the state of Colorado. Plus, they use tamari on the majority of their foods and teriyaki sauces so most everything can be made gluten-free I believe.

Yelp
Visited here while in Denver. It is a cute hole in the wall with great service. Loved the small menu they offer as it was easy to pick food off of their menu. Based off of Yelp reviews, I knew I had to try the Mac salad. It was incredible! I also had the ahi tuna poke bowl which was very flavorful! It was packed with protein, rice and spicy Mayo. Definitely a traditional poke bowl compared to creative ones I've had. Give this place a try !

Abigail B.

Yelp
We were very much looking forward to Ohana Island Kitchen after the high reviews. Unfortunately after eating the spicy tuna poke bowl I got very sick a few hours later. Given the high price, the flavor and quality seemed quite good in the moment but was not worth the food poisoning.
google avatar

Heather T.

Yelp
Ok so we had pretty much decided we cannot find decent Hawaiian food outside of Hawaii (my husband lived there for 8 years). That is until we got Ohana Island Kitchen delivered today for lunch. My husband got the kalua pork with a side of Mac salad. I went with the ahi tuna poke with avocado. It felt like we had gone right back to Hawaii with our first bite. Delicious. Absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Joseph Y.

Yelp
Had a couple spicy tuna poke bowls and shared the mac salad. The bowls, while heavy on rice, were delicious and filling. But the mac salad was the real star: creamy & delicious without being oily & over peppered. Would be back next time in Denver!
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time today. The pork was way too salty. Kale salad and poke were good but not a fan of the rice or pasta salad. Not sure I would go back.
google avatar

Deborah M.

Yelp
Was in the mood for poke and came across this spot- surprisingly delicious with a kale salad! Fresh, lots of umami and a great portion- friendly quick service and I could eat on the patio for these last sunny warm days of November to boot!

Yelp
This is my first time in Denver Colorado, my boyfriend and I live in California and we came here to Denver for his work trip, however, this was our first late lunch meal of our week, and let me tell you, the flavors were so extraordinary, it's hard to put them into words--each bite felt like a taste of paradise! The pork was unbelievably tender and juicy, packing so much flavor in every piece. The tuna was so fresh and perfectly prepared, it literally melted in my mouth. The salad was crisp and vibrant, a refreshing contrast to the richness of the main dishes. The Mac and cheese salad--wow! It was so creamy and indulgent, the perfect side to balance everything out. Every bite transported us straight to Hawaii even though we haven't been in Hawaii lol. It was one of those meals where you can't stop savoring the taste and, quite honestly, we both felt like we wanted more and more. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal. Absolutely worth every bite! In addition the service was good. The staff is so friendly. Ohana is my favorite place in Denver and the reason why Denver has a part of my heart. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
This has become our benchmark for poke. It is perfect in its simplicity.-Fresh and tasty. Other poke places try to add all sorts of ingredients and in the end our absolute favorite is Ohana. A perfect 10.
google avatar

Cassandra C.

Yelp
We ordered from here on a weekend through DoorDash. Food was prepared rather quickly! Here's what we ordered, ranked: 1) Pork curry bowl: 10/10 So delicious. Generous serving of curry. Not as much pork, but that's okay. The flavor was there. Wish they had a katsu version! 2) Shoyu poke: 7/10 We enjoyed the no frills poke here and there was a generous amount of poke to rice ratio. Fish was fresh. We felt it was under seasoned somewhat and had to add our own additional flavors (ponzu, shoya sauce). 3) Mac salad: 7/10 I liked it, my partner didn't. It does not taste like your typical Hawaiian Mac - it's more peppery 4) Spam Misubi: 3/10 Would not order this again. Too much rice to spam ratio

Yelp
After a fellow Yelper has gone on and on about Ohana Island Kitchen, I just knew I had to check it out. So post class and craving poke I grabbed Marissa C, and we made our way to Ohana Island kitchen. SPACE: While the space is small, it def gives off all the island vibes. Inside, the aqua painted walls with white trim and picnic tables fill the space. On the walls you will find a few family pictures hung in white frames. There's a small patio that helps to make the most of the sunny Colorado days. SIPS: I love Hawaiian Sun drinks. Like a lot. So naturally I was stoked to see the case next to the register stocked full of my favorite Hawaiian Sun drinks. I chose the Pass-O-Guava, and it definitely paired perfect, as always. SUSTENANCE: Spam musubi is officially my weakness, and Ohana Island Kitchen def has some tasty spam musubi. For the main event, I decided the spicy tuna bowl, while my fellow diner opted for the kalua pork plate. Everything in my poke bowl tasted fresh and delicious. I do wish there were more customization options available, but I think I have gotten spoiled by all the build your own places out there. Traditional certainly tastes just as good. SERVICE: Ohana Island Grill doesn't offer traditional table service. You place your order at the counter, and they bring the order out to you. So mo checking back or refilling beverages. That being said, the staff that we interacted with were all super friendly and helpful. I can see why Ohana Island Kitchen is so loved! Def going to be making my way back here to try more of their simple, yet drool-worthy menu for sure!

Yelp
Very tasty! Ordered poke. When I received it, I thought it was way too small for the price. But it made me very full! Just kind of pricey I thought. Spicy poke is pretty spicy. The decor is cute and nice.

C. K.

Yelp
You know the food is legit when every time you go you're sitting next to some Samoan guys chowing down on the Poke and Pulled Pork. Recommend getting the combo plate and add some poke. Service is great, people are friendly, and while some would say it's a little pricey I say it's fair for the quality of what you get. One of my favorite weekday lunch spots never too far from "the office."
google avatar

Angie C.

Yelp
This place was fast and delicious the host was very friendly. Didn't take long to get our order. Small indoors but they have a little patio area next door we ate our food in the car out front m. Parking is off street parking. They have pre rolled masubi which we got it was so good. No Mac salad. It wasn't expensive either the bowls we got were full of food and tasted great. You can get your own plastic wear they do have recycling and trash which is nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Aww, what a bummer. With an almost 5-star rating on Yelp, I was excited to try Ohana (especially because I love this neighborhood) but walked away super disappointed by the food and customer service. The cashier was impatient, and I felt judged for taking a few minutes to decide what I wanted, even though there was literally no line behind me. I only ordered spam musubi to-go but know Ohana is more popular for its poke bowls and ramen. Maybe that's my bad for ordering the wrong item, but spam musubi really isn't that hard to make. The spam slices were incredibly thin. There was hardly any sauce. I mean, three musubi for $15 is expensive, especially when it felt like mouthfuls of rice. I'm going to say that my visit was a fluke because I'm pretty confident this place could do better. Perhaps the cashier was having a bad day. And the chefs in the back. Who knows? The poke bowls look tasty (fish seems fresh) and the inside of the restaurant feels cozy. Mentally bookmarked for another takeout order or dine-in lunch break.
google avatar

Thao D.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for so long. Mainly for the poke, but I couldn't help but try this kalua pork combo to try a little bit of everything. Everything was delicious! The pork was almost too salty to me but the rice and mac salad complimented it well. The poke and kale salad were SO GOOD together! I ordered this to be delivered through doordash since I was working from home. So glad it can be delivered! I'm looking forward to stopping by in person to order again!
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
The curry was impressive along with the mac salad. I felt like the poke was a bit too salty for me, but my husband enjoyed it. Our girls enjoyed the pork bento. We'd love to come back and try the spam musubi and spicy tuna among other things! The cashier offered us a high chair, which we were grateful for. The place is small but had a few tables outside.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
Back when I lived in Denver, Ohana Island kitchen was a staple lunch restaurant in my life. I love the poke and kale salad. Seriously the fish is so fresh and the kale salad marinated to perfection. I try to drop in whenever I am back in town. You should too!!
google avatar

Willy H.

Yelp
Finally found a simple, high quality (ie, authentic) poke bowl that reminds me of home! The spicy poke and spam musubi were indistinguishable from Foodland or your average solid poke stop in Hawaii. Got to slurp it down with some Hawaiian Sun. Sashimi grade, so ono. Sat on the patio under an umbrella, just missing the sand...and ocean. My main criticism of virtually every other poke that I have tried in Denver is the excess of toppings. The poke scene is but one example of the DIY ordering process that caters Western individualism, has swept the country, and spoiled the poke bowl. The toppings are distracting and veil the low quality fish in both appearance and taste (see photo 2). Bottom line is...IYKYK.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
My meticulous (obsessive?) search for the best food in Denver led me here for some kalua pork, mac salad, and poke. I ordered online and it was ready for pickup when estimated! I tried: - mini kalua pork mix plate - comes with rice, mac salad, mango-lime kale salad, & corn salsa - spicy tuna combo - half rice, half kale Highly recommend the kalua pork and mac salad! The pork is so tender and flavorful. It can be a bit salty so be sure to pair with rice. If you get the poke, in my opinion, you can skip the kale and just get it with rice because it absorbs the spicy mayo much better. :)
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
Searched and searched through my bookmarked restaurants and this is where it led me to Ohana Island Kitchen. I thought this place was going to be bigger than it was, but there are only about 4 tables on the inside with most of the seating outside. However, the establishment is unique and fun. I love the blue paint job and the way that they've decorated the place. The menu is simple with only a few things to choose from and it's reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Ordered the kalua pork mixed plate and am in a conundrum about it. Half of the food I enjoyed, but the other half was not so great. The pork is absolutely the highlight of everything I ate. It was very tender, juicy and flavorful. The mac salad was good, but could've used more flavor. The rice had little flakes of seaweed on top and although they were so small they ruined the rice for me because it was incredibly fishy tasting. Lastly, the salad was way too fragrant tasting and didn't have that bright flavor that salads usually have. From reading the reviews, I think most people come here for the poke bowls so maybe you will have better luck than I did if you're into that.

Abigail H.

Yelp
Literally so good bury me in the spicy tuna poke it's so amazing. Good service and the outdoor seating area is really nice and lowkey.
google avatar

Truth T.

Yelp
Long overdue review. Ohana is on point. Top 3 takeout spot in Denver - food is always ready quickly, hot, and consistently great. Have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend the pork curry and Mac salad.
google avatar

Lauren P.

Yelp
This place has been reviewed on several places as the best Hawaiian food in the Denver area. When you walk in, the place is cute and looks like a restaurant that would be in Oahu. Ive been to Hawaii several times, I seek out Hawaiian food restaurants everywhere I go and my best friend makes homemade Hawaiian food all the time so my gauge of taste/authenticity is validated. I ordered 2 spam musubis, the Kalua Plate, which was just rice and pork, and the Kalua Platter that had rice, pork, a kale salad, macaroni salad and some corn salsa thing. My total was $43, not including the tip! The pork was extremely dry and not seasoned enough. The macaroni salad was bland and didn't have the crunchy textures a typical macaroni salad would. The rice had a yellow curry powder, furikake and LOTS of garlic on top. The sauce that they give you was a basic teriyaki sauce and I was only given one and had to ask for another. Don't expect an authentic Hawaiian food experience because this is far from that. They did have a few poke bowl options that I would try IF I ever do go back but I don't plan to.
google avatar

Jade W.

Yelp
The food was excellent and refreshing. Usually I'm not a big fan of poke but this was flavorful and the texture was great. I cannot recommend the mac salad enough. Very friendly staff. Cute little spot for lunch. Smaller portions so keep that in mind while ordering.
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
Good food, but def not as good as the reviews sounds IMO. We had ours delivered, keep that in mind. Experience may be better in restaurant. A little dry pork, great flavor tho. Macaroni was a little light. Maybe just not my style Hawaiin food.
google avatar

Corey O.

Yelp
Let me preface by saying everything I ate was delicious. That being said, the prices are absolutely ridiculous, and the menu items do not even match traditional menus, which I guess is somewhat on me for not looking more closely at what the dishes included. I got the Kalua Pork Combo Plate. Now if you've ever had Hawaiian food before, or even just Google "Hawaiian combo plate" you'll see quickly that this dish is generally rice, Mac salad, and 2 types of protein, spare ribs, marinated chicken, etc. But nope, not here. 2 scoops rice, Mac salad, a medium size serving of the pork, and a literal salad. For $14!!! How is that a combo plate, what's it a combo of, different salads??? Between that and their $4 masubi the profit margins here have to be phenomenal, and I get rent in the area isn't cheap, but come on, $14 for some rice, macaroni salad, an actual salad, and a small serving of pork!? That's ridiculous given what the customer receives. Y'all better at least be paying your employees a decent wage given the highway robbery that goes on with the pricing of your menu items.
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
Cute, bright atmosphere. Totally feels like you're in Hawaii. We had the pork mixed plate with spicy poke added. Everything was delicious! The salad was refreshing, poke and pork were well-seasoned. Spicy poke was on the mild side, but still good. Macaroni and rice complemented the protein very well! Outdoor seating available!
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Was craving poke so I jumped on Yelp and found Ohana Island Kitchen. This place is literally walking distance from my house and I had no idea. The cashier was very friendly and had good recommendations. I got the Spicy Tuna Poke as she said that was the most popular item. It was much spicier than I was expecting but not that bad. Overall is was pretty good. I also got the Mac salad which was the bomb. I'm a sucker for a good Mac salad and I'll return for just that alone. Overall, if you don't mind not making your own bowl, I'd check this place out.
google avatar

Dylan S.

Yelp
Found this spot through a "poke" search and shoutout google because it did me well. Tuna was fresh and not chewy. Good portion of tuna. Rice was cooked perfectly as well. I could've ate another bowl it was so good. Really cool spot and will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Spam Masubi draws me like a magnate, and this was good, good, SHAKA, BRA!!! Excellent spicy tuna. I hope I have dreams with this in them! Good service brought order to my table in a wonderful ally alcove

Wasn't too impressed with this place. I came in with high hopes and left with a small poke bowl and a large hole in my wallet. Staff was super friendly, but I feel the bowl could've used something else to spice it up. I got the spicy tuna bowl. Still on the hunt for some yummy poke in Denver.

Yelp
Such a great spot for a quick bite! They are usually pretty fast but don't compromise quality! All of their ingredients are super fresh. All the menu is great but my favorites are the spicy ahi tuna and also the pork plates. The portions are also very generous as well which makes Ohana stand out from other poke places that are usually smaller portions and not as tasty. Definitely recommend if you're in the Denver area!

Yelp
Not usually the type of person to write a Yelp review, but had to show love to this authentic Hawaiian spot. Awesome to hear that the owner is from Kaneohe, which is a the town next to where I'm from (Kailua). The local authenticity shows in the food, service, and ambiance of the restaurant. The poke fish quality is great and the spam musubi hits the spot every time. My only critique is to marinade the poke in a more sauce and serve it colder over a warm bed of rice. Wonderful spot that deserves their flowers
