What an experience! Friendly staff, clean environment, family love and attention…. And the sushi?!? It was artful and delicious!

Welp, I guess I can check Ohana off the list of sushi I’ll get in Reno. I used to consider this my go-to for a “treat myself” lunch but never again. Came here for a takeout lunch special $34.50 with $1.00 takeout tip. Not shown is the crab appetizer which were the size of my pinkies. This is just sad, unless your getting all you can eat your are getting absolutely ripped off. So bummed, I just wanted a decent meal to eat at the park, I would have been better off getting Raley’s sushi.

We were happy with most of the sushi. The cooks did a good job and sushi was very presentable. One Fried sushi roll tasted like it was made with old oil and slightly burned but that was pure only gripe. Service was lackluster and abrupt. They were busy visiting each other and not so much the customers. Handing off the food and returning the credit card with a mumble and not looking at us. We ironically got better service from the cooks than the wait staff, and it seemed like we weren't the only ones who felt that way, one of the wait staff was seriously just wandering in circles doing nothing, just super bizarre. Personally I'd give the cooks a raise and fire the wait staff.

Cool spot. Workers made sushi quickly. Taste was ok. We had the all you can eat sushi for $33 / person.

Google
I love the vibe and music at this restaurant. All staffs were nice. The bakes mussels were good and the calamari has a crispy coating but inside was chewy and stringy. Their nigiri are fresh and delicious. Sushi was also delicious and flavorful.

Google
Amazing place! Even on a Sunday afternoon, it was nearly packed indoors and on the patio. My first time having sushi, abd it was great. Will be back. Love it.

Google
So this weekend we got to try out this place. The portions of the sushi rolls were small in my opinion. Favorite rolls & other items: *tropical roll (fruity & sweet - almost like a dessert) *pot stickers *the godfather *Jade *ultimate tuna The mussels were not good at all. The price was reasonable. On a side note our friends got the poke bowl and it look delicious. Maybe next time I will try those.

Google
So I’ve been coming to this restaurant once a week for just about the last two months. I would say the overall service provided to customers has significantly dropped off. Over the last eight visits after submitting my appetizer sheet for all you can eat, We’ve only received those appetizers four of the eight visits. The other four were missing. All eight visits have had at least one incorrect or missing sushi roll from the all-you-can-eat sheet as well. My group and I have also noticed that most of the staff spend their day on their phones or talking amongst each other. Attention to detail here has certainly lacked over the last 2 to 3 months. I have no idea what changed because the staff has pretty much stayed the same. The younger gentleman, waiter that has the design cut into the back of his haircut is by far your best employee. The smaller female, who is generally stationed at the cashier or greeter station by the front door is your least attentive employee. Always on her phone, and acting pretty ingenuine. She dropped off our food a couple of times and we profusely said thank you (just to test this theory) and she just turned around and went to go do something else on her phone. On a completely different and slightly inappropriate note, none of the younger females are wearing any sort of “support” underneath their work attire. The sushi is great, sometimes heavy on the Sriracha, but I don’t mind.

Yelp
Ohana has been our favorite and go to spot since we discovered it 3 or so years ago! Their food is amazing, service is amazing, and we enjoy the casual atmosphere! They also have some outside seating during the warmer days. Our favorite is their nigiri! Their fish cut size and rice ratio is perfect. Thick cuts topping small amounts of rice and fish are always fresh too! They WILL get crazy busy and super packed so you should always be prepared to wait. Best times to go are as soon as they open (before the lunch rush) and mid afternoon around 4pm (before dinner rush)! There are reasons why they're always busy and you won't regret it!

Yelp
Sushi date for lunch! It was long overdue and we hadn't been in here for quite sometime. Our server mentioned he hadn't seen us in awhile. I'm not sure if there are newer sushi chefs, but we were disappointed because we were craving it. Luckily our servers took great care of us. Everything else was lacking. Our sushi was over sauced and took away from our raw fish. I think we enjoyed the appetizers and our few cooked long rolls over our raw options. I think the avocado used was over ripe and just mushy. It was super disappointing, my Philly handrolls were mostly rice, no cream cheese and 4 bites of salmon. I'm not sure what's going on with this place and quality of their sushi. Perhaps a change in kitchen staff?! We were bummed because it wasn't busy. Ohana used to be a family favorite.

Yelp
This was our first time here. We had been taking a break from AYCE, but today we went for the Lunch AYCE Sushi. It was busy, but still got seated right away. We started with a few appetizers; The Mussels and Yakiton. The Mussels were good, but not as hot as I would've liked. The Yakiton was piping hot, but very tasty once it cooled down a bit. I ordered 3 Long Rolls; The Aloha, Rocky Mountain and the Arizona. I ordered these rolls from the Raw Sushi Menu, but there was still some kind of Tempura inside, which I didn't necessarily want. Overall they were good, except for that one detail. I also had a Quail Egg and Unagi Nigiri and finished off with my favorite, Green Tea Ice Cream. As I prevously mentioned, the place was bustling. Luckily, there were alot of employees tending to Customers both inside and outside. We recieved great service and never waited very long for anything. It was a little loud though, but that also didn't bother me. We had a great time!

Yelp
Historically speaking my wife and I have had an enjoyable dining experience at Ohana. We usually go 2-3 times a month. We were out of town most of July and decided to go to sushi after coming home from camping. I don't understand what happened in a month's time but it was not the usual experience we have come to expect. The service was HORRIBLE! After telling the waiter we were both having AYCE, we had to ask two separate employees for our soy dipping trays even after the first two rolls were already delivered. Our waiter paid very little attention to us until he walked by and saw that my wife and I were reading Ohana Yelp reviews aloud to each other (most poor reviews were service related and rightfully so). Once he saw us reading reviews he attempted to make a better effort but it was too late to remove the sour taste of poor service from our mouths. It's going to be awhile before we go back. I don't mind paying the price for good food but with good food I expect good service. I am a generous tipper to show my gratitude for good service provided, but when the service sucks my gratuity reflects. Ohana just do better please.

Yelp
This place was packed during weekday lunch, but we were still able to get two seats immediately. I normally don't get handrolls, but I really enjoyed the salmon skin one. However, I think the next one I got was sitting on the counter for a little before the server brought it over because the seaweed was much softer. We also really loved the scallop and squid nigiri! The hotsauce was weird though, so I'd see if I could get it without that next time.
google avatar

Arno K.

Yelp
The sushi is fresh and high quality, the chefs vary some are more generous than others it's how well you play the game. I am not a regular just go when waiting for wifey when she's at work down the street. Afternoons are best but still crowded with regulars who seem to own the joint. Know your menu and beer prices and you will be okay. Very loud and fast paced crowed definitely not my style but for a quick lunch it's okay. Reno is in the fast lane these days we don't like that so we eat sushi at home because of this. Sometimes it's not just the foodnand staff that makes the experience but who's talking next to you at the sushi bar.

Yelp
Really liked the rolls here- well made and well executed. Not as fast as some other sushi places in town, but they were/ are probably one of the busiest! Knowing this I would think the service would be a little better however our server didn't know the menu that well, and brought us out the wrong appetizers- we ordered gyoza and she tried to put mussels down on the table- even though my partner has a shellfish allergy (which was mentioned) this is the second time something like that has happened at a sushi restaurant in the last few months and I again want to express to restaurant staff- be more careful. Great to see the place so busy, it is definitely because of the quality of the food- I would have given less stars for service but the rolls are that good!

Yelp
Ohana is always packed, which is an instant sign of a good sushi place. The chefs are so kind and greet you as you walk in. The wait staff is attentive and accommodating. We have had large groups, and they eagerly put tables together. The rolls are meticulous and delicious. The fish is of good quality. There are nice options for long rolls, especially if you like fruit and some twists. I like to ask for chef specials and let the experts do the rest. Come! Come! Come!
google avatar

Cole J.

Yelp
Come here if you want to order all you can eat sushi and then get only one round because the wait staff never checks on your table. Its decent sushi but there is better in Reno.

Ally G.

Yelp
Favorite sushi spot in Reno. It tastes fresh and the staff is great. Restaurant is always busy, especially on weekends! Highly recommend if you're looking for a new favorite spot.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner again on my way west. I was seated quickly. Nice clean friendly atmosphere. Ordered several rolls, appetizers, sashimi and hand rolls. The service was excellent! Jasmine was my waitress, very attentive and took care of everything I wanted or needed, quickly, and with a smile. The sushi rolls were colorful and extremely delicious! The sashimi and hand rolls were very yummy. Definitely stopping back here on my next pass through!

Yelp
I've been to Ohana Sushi before and had a pleasant experience, but after today, I don't think I'll be coming back. From the moment we walked in, the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. As we stood waiting to be seated, we could overhear the staff complaining about "all the customers showing up at once" - it was noon, prime lunch time, so it seemed like they weren't prepared for the rush. Our party of four, with an infant in a car seat, seemed to cause some frustration for the staff, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. While the restaurant was understandably crowded, the noise level was high, but that's something I can excuse given the time of day. Parking was another issue - we had to park behind the business next door because the lot was so packed, which was a hassle. The real frustration came when we placed our order. One person in our group specifically requested soy wraps, which we noted on the paper and also mentioned to our waitress. We received most of our rolls, but after a long wait, we noticed that the soy rolls were still missing. We asked the waitress about it, and she assured us they were "on the way." Thirty minutes later, still no rolls. When we asked again, she said they were coming and even offered us another paper to order more rolls - which was confusing since we were still waiting for the soy rolls we originally ordered. After another 10 minutes, when we still hadn't received the soy rolls, the waitress came by again asking if we wanted ice cream. We declined, but it felt like she was trying to move us along without resolving the issue. By the time we asked a third time, the rest of the table had finished their meals, and we were handed a check for four "all-you-can-eat" meals, even though one person hadn't received anything to eat. When we brought this up, the waitress simply shrugged and said she didn't know why the soy rolls hadn't come out and that's why she offered us the extra paper. No apology, no attempt to fix the issue. The worst part was that the staff seemed indifferent to our frustration and didn't seem to care that we were charged for something we didn't receive. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and the food wasn't even that great this time around. It's clear that Ohana Sushi has become too busy and understaffed. What was once a friendly and enjoyable spot has turned into a frustrating experience. I won't be coming back after this visit.

Yelp
This is literally my first stop when I visit Reno. Their sushi is delicious, the best in town! I've yet to have a bad experience here. Also, if you're like me and you love spice, ask them for the spicy soy sauce. It's soy sauce with a bunch of minced chili peppers and other ingredients. Not overly spicy but adds a nice kick. Everyone is always attentive here, which I appreciate. The restaurant is usually busy so expect a wait on the weekends but it's totally worth it.

Yelp
Loved the rolls at Ohana! They are a great size for AYCE and had many delicious options without shellfish. My faves were the Godfather roll glazed with a sweet sauce and black tobiko and the spicy Battleborn roll topped with fresh jalapeno. We came on Sunday evening and it was super busy but we were still seated promptly and got our food within about 15-20 minutes. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
We haven't been to Ohana Sushi for a while not because we didn't want but because every time we go, they are always busy-- which is good, we're happy for them but we do miss their food. Today, we dropped by and were fortunate to be there just as a table opened up as soon as we walked in. Lucky! Pro-tip: we immediately filled up the appetizer menu with our selections, so we can get that going while we leisurely peruse the sushi menu for whatever strikes our fancy that day. Our appetizers were quickly delivered to our table: a double order potstickers, an order of miso soup, an order of Kyoto and a double order of baked mussels. We eagerly handed our server our sushi menu and waited a good while before we received the sushi but it was okay because we were savoring the appetizers; so by the time the sushi arrived at the table, we were ready for them. We ordered the usual staples: mountain long roll and the King Kong and a couple of new ones like the Samurai and the Red Orchid. Aside from the long rolls we also ordered a huge selection of nigiris like unagi, saba and smoked salmon plus a couple of handrolls like the spicy tuna and the salmon skin. All the food tasted great; I especially liked their Kyoto appetizer and their unagi and smoked salmon nigiris. The best part of our meal is always the service, all their staff is very courteous, efficient and attentive; the proprietress is always warm and welcoming; she never misses the chance to let us know our business is appreciated. Good food, great service and the reasonable prices, what else could you ask for? Ohana Sushi is one of the best deals in town; no wonder they're always so busy.

Yelp
I'm glad to rediscover this place! Their sushi are perfect sizes, packed with fresh flavors and creative recipes. Service was great and attentive wait staff. The ambiance was more lively at night than lunch time.
google avatar

Penny R.

Yelp
Went for lunch. The bar was full but we found a high table seat.Having limited time, we still were able to get the rolls we wanted and were able to relax and enjoy them. Service was quick, Very typical rolls offered. Rice was very thick on the hand rolls with just toppings on in the first bite. Long rolls were evenly cut and the rice was even. Salmon was a bit dry on the nigiri but fine on the roll. Tina was full of flavor. Spicy tuna had just the right amount of kick to it. Asked for no sauce on the rolls and our waiter was shocked. I explained that I the sauce hides the real flavor of the dish. He told us people prefer lots of sauce!! Average priced.

Yelp
Moved back to Reno for a little more than half a year now and I was introduced to this sushi place and let me say I love it. The service is always quick, friendly and attentive while the place is always clean. On the far left side of the restaurant, they do to go poke bowls as well. The fishes are always fresh and the rice to fish ratio is perfect. I've been back 3 times already and I have never had a bad experience.
google avatar

Jocelyn R.

Yelp
Fav sushi place! Love that their rolls aren't massive and not too much cream cheese as other places. Staff is always friendly and fast. Usually not a long wait and enjoy all the window seating and plants they have indoors. Would recommend 100%!
google avatar

Talia G.

Yelp
Good customer service, fair prices, and an upbeat environment make this place a favorite for friend and family outings. Lots of delicious options for nigiri, long and hand rolls, bowls, etc. The parking lot is on the smaller side and is shared with other nearby businesses so be prepared to grab whatever spot you see!

Yelp
I came here for a weekday AYCE lunch for $26.95. The service was mixed.. the servers were nice and repeatedly checked up on me, but they did not offer to explain anything when I was first seated and brought out long rolls when I marked hand rolls on the ordering form. I did not know that nigiri was per order (each order is 2 pieces), not per piece, so I effectively received double the amount of nigiri that I marked on the ordering form. This amount per order is not clearly indicated on the menu. Nigiri was just okay. The fish was not of great quality, and some pieces were really chewy; I had to spit some of it out. Some pieces also tasted really questionable in terms of freshness (squid, red snapper, albacore). Hand rolls that I ordered were excellent, and definitely the highlight of the meal. I would highly recommend Ocean Fire, Scorpion and Ultimate Tuna. I don't know how this restaurant compares to other AYCE sushi restaurants, but I am not super eager to return unless I am craving hand rolls.

Steph G.

Yelp
Overall a great place for All You Can Eat sushi. Food was yummy and everything tasted fresh. Service was good and fast and it was busy on a weekend night, meaning that they are popular and people like to eat here. A few things that they could work on is their communication, especially if it is a busy evening. They kept bringing us food that we did not order and we had to repeatedly ask for the items that we did order as they would frequently forget them unless reminded. Oh, and having a few more non-sushi options to order as part of the AYCE menu could be helpful for diners who like sushi but don't like raw fish. I love sushi and would come back if I'm in Reno again!

Allison T.

Yelp
Juan is the best sushi chefs here. WE ALWAYS SIT AT THE END OF THE SUSHI BAR SO HE CAN SERVE US. He's number JUAN!!! And he always makes us his secret off the menu specialties when we are waiting for other rolls to come out.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been meaning to try Ohana for a while, and I conveniently started working down the street from there so I ordered take out my first week to see if it was as good as the reviews say. The restaurant was packed for Friday dinner with is always a good sign. I'm a vegetarian and it's sometimes hard to find good veggie sushi in Reno that have more options than just a cucumber or avocado roll. I was excited to try their Happy Roll, which includes cream cheese, tempura veggies and lemon inside, and avocado and sweet potato strings on top. The employee I was speaking with on the phone was very helpful in telling me about their take out specials, which are a great deal! I got a 5 roll, 2 appetizer special and I think it was around $38. The Happy Roll was very tasty and did not disappoint. I hope they add additional veggie sushi rolls that are equally as creative. I'll definitely be back frequently!

Yelp
Third time we've been in here and we absolutely love it now it's our favorite place to come and it was packed to the house but we still got seated right away the service was excellent and the sushi oh my goodness we just love it so fresh and it's fast service so that's why we love coming even though it's packed house they get to you ASAP so yes we love this place
google avatar

Mj Y.

Yelp
We came during lunch time which was $28.95 per person. The food came out in timely manner. They took kinda long to check out but they were quick with picking up the plates. The food was good, I really liked the Scorpion long roll and salmon nigiri.
google avatar

Cassandra A.

Yelp
Helpful and attentive service. Good value. Lots of seating. Very busy place but low wait which is nice! Okay sushi. Bathrooms needed cleaned.
google avatar

Luminox M.

Yelp
Sushi quality as a regular buffet. Overcrowded with not enough waiters.Orders and mixed up and late. Had to wait 8 min for a wasabi and ginger after the order came. Nigiri plate came with a good splash of sriracha so we had to reorder. Quality is gone compare I was at a same place 2 years ago.

Darrell L.

Yelp
From other reviews, 4+ stars? I guess it's a Reno 4-star sushi place. Rice on sushi rolls were super thin. Sashimi was not bad. Fried calamari? This is what you get for $5. It might've been sitting there cuz' it was not hot and kinda soggy. Server didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I won't be coming back anytime soon.
google avatar

Jordan P.

Yelp
This place is in competition with Poke king when it comes to Poke bowls! The food is good but when it comes to sushi, this wouldn't be my go to. The service is great & the ambiance when it comes to dining-in is good as well. This is a great place to eat if you've been struggling to find a "good" sushi spot. The price for all you can eat is around 28-29 per person for lunch & I think that's pretty high when I can go to my favorite spot only to pay $22. I'd rate it a 8/10 by the service alone.
google avatar

Victor A.

Yelp
This place used to be good. But now, awful service, workers were more preoccupied with talking to each other than serving cistumers. Specially the short female server. Disappointed. Be better. Avoid this place.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
Ohana's sushi never been to this sushi bar it's just tucked away in the corner on Stanford and McCarron this place is so friendly everybody does everything they can to make your experience the best the chefs were so nice the sushi was incredible so fresh and they didn't you know it didn't put the rice balls like gigantic golf balls they were beautiful little pieces of rice with a delicate fish on top the tuna is fresh the salmon was extremely fresh everything all of the hand rolls the long rolls appetizers and dessert sushi unbelievable I've never seen it very very delicious I recommend this delightful little sushi bar to anyone who loves sushi and enjoy all different types of sushi and specials the reasonable pricing I can't wait to go again
google avatar

Care B.

Yelp
I would have to say this is one of the best places to go if you love sushi. The rolls were perfectly proportioned. They didn't fall apart, there was not alot of rice to fill you up on just 1 or 2 rolls.. you could actually try several rolls off the menu. Their quail egg shooters, not the best I've had but we're really good. The guys making the rolls were friendly. But the girls that just served the water or seated you, just stood around doing nothing but chatting amongst each other not paying attention to when a drink was low or needing a check. I had to literally ask for my check. I never had to anywhere else, they just knew. The atmosphere was normal, you can hear the other conversations but they weren't loud enough to disturb your own meal.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
We have been here a few times but this time around, service was poor. It was fairly busy but it looked well staffed, lots of sushi chefs. We sat down and ordered, we didn't get food for about 20 minutes, not even the appetizers. We finally got our food, but they didn't say what the rolls were and we got one that we didn't order. They didn't come around for a while to ask if we wanted more. We didn't. We then ordered dessert and my husband didn't even get his. After waiting 15 minutes for his, we just left. I want to preface, the food is good, but service is everything when there's a dozen other sushi restaurants in town.

Alexa M.

Yelp
Good food, prices aren't bad. Service was good. Bathrooms were clean. We asked for a roll to be made with certain items, they blew it out of the water with it. It was amazing!!!
google avatar

Wil S.

Yelp
Ayce sushi here for lunch (11am-3pm) at $26.99 a person is def worth it if long rolls averaging $11 and appetizers are around $3-4, and nigiri are $5 for every serving; we could easily spend double that amount ordering A la carte! Food is always amazing, staff and service was attentive and quick this time around but it was also because it wasn't as busy (we beat the lunch rush), the only drawback, lipstick on bowl of my miso soup so not as clean as before. Battle born is the new favorite, followed up with aloha, Ohana, unagi nigiri, and sin city. Will come back to try other new rolls
google avatar

Makenzie C.

Yelp
Got a poke bowl for my self care night in on Saturday and - as always - I was in love. I always get the large since I like to eat it for two meals but this actually made it to three since the protein was PACKED! I mean normally I get five pretty hearty scoops but since it was later in the night I got probably 8-10 hearty scoops. It's always busy but the line for poke is short and quick so I can get my food quickly. The seats are a little tight but I have never eaten in the restaurant so that is hard to speak on. Definitely get the spicy tuna and salmon. It is delicious.
google avatar

J C.

Yelp
Nice bright place with fast service and good staff. The sushi was fresh and clean. None of it was rubbery or nasty as some people have noted from time to time. We got for all you can eat, but the waiter did offer a on the car option to a smaller member of our party. She decided to go all in with us, so it was nice to have the option. We tried almost all of the Nigiri amongst our party of four and re-ordered some. We also tried several of the cooked long rolls and raw long rolls and several hand rolls. Everything was tasty.
google avatar

Kirby D.

Yelp
Wanting something for lunch, we stumbled upon Ohana Sushi. So glad we did. It's a decent sized restaurant but is generally PACKED ! Never had to wait too long but always impressed how busy they are. Parking is limited so plan accordingly. We tend to get all you can eat (AYCE) Sushi, either for lunch or dinner. The price seems fair, given the vast selection of options of Nigiri, cooked and raw Sushi. What I appreciate is the sushi is prepared with minimal rice, so you can really enjoy the flavors of the fish and veggies. My personal favorites are the Ohana, Waynes, Caterpillar and Dragon Rolls. The AYCE Sushi comes with dessert. The fried banana dessert is amazing. The restaurant is fairly loud, but they always seem to be playing nice background music, so its not too bad. The staff are always hustling trying to fill the orders, so bring your patience.

Sofia R.

Yelp
I freaking love this sushi place, it's probably my favorite sushi spot in Reno/Sparks area. It's great priced, it's always packed and has great deals for all you can eat for lunch. I've been here twice and can't wait to go again. I got the salmon meal with veggies and fried rice. It was so good and a huge portion. I can't remember all the baked of the rolls but it was very good and had great flavor. Parking can be annoying here but the food makes up for it. Highly recommend
google avatar

Josh L.

Yelp
This is our go to spot for AYCE sushi in Reno/Sparks. We love the salmon nigiri! That's our main go to for sushi while we explore their rolls. What's great is that you don't have to order a full roll and have the option to get a hand roll instead. This is great to sample many unique rolls while not being wasteful. The main reason why we keep coming back is the service. We sit at the bar every time and the chefs are always so attentive and fast with our orders. Definitely one of the faster AYCE sushi joints in my opinion from my experience.

Kelly Y.

Yelp
This place was amazing. My husband and I came in and it was packed. We decided to sit at the bar. The food was delicious and it came within minutes. The chef kept asking us if there's anything else we wanted to try. The staff were friendly and worked hard. We plan to come back.

Kubo K.

Yelp
We eat a lot of sushi, so we had high hopes for this place based off of the reviews. The service was great and plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. The place was clean so again, high hopes. The sushi rolls were smallish and not that much rice in the sushi. It was rolled pretty tight so I guess the plus is is that it's low carb. The rice itself was dry and was not sushi rice that is usually made with care and did not have rice vinegar. The breading on the tempura was just batter and not panko. Kinda meh. Same with the dipping sauce. The Sashimi platter looked great and substantial. Most of the fish was kind of mushy. Salmon was decent. We ordered an extra bowl ($3.50) of rice to go with the sashimi. Could have used a little more water and love. At least the photos looks amazing online!

Yelp
The best sushi in reno/sparks! This place is always busy but the staff does a great job of getting you seated. I love their mussels-- the sriracha makes them delicious! The ingredients are fresh and I love the combination of ingredients. Get the mussels, upside shrimp, and the ohana roll! If you need a sushi spot... this place is it! Nice atmosphere and amazing sushi!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Servers are very attentive and pay attention when you are finished with plates so they can remove them . Not too loud and not too quite in the restaurant. We paid $72 for everything , 2 all you can eat sushi, 2 drinks. Highly recommend

Yelp
Reno..... this is a 4.5 star sushi restaurant lmfao Saw the stars and proximity and thought maybe. Pulled up and packed, alright let's go! We sit waitress walks up and immediately says "know what ya want " when we have 1 menu at the table and sat down. Told her we need a minute it's our first time. "Ok this is how we do it and slaps down a paper menu and pen. The paper menu is two dollars cheaper then the laminated menu, cool maybe they cut prices . Takes drink order and leaves. When comes back asks if we want all you can eat, "no thanks" her response ok well if you get more then costs for all you can eat I'll put it on all you can eat. Sounds good. The waitress asks us if we want "nah jerry" lmfao . We ask about the quail egg shooter, my wife "so is it quail egg and chopped muscles and what else?". The waitress "yes" and green onion and ponzu. She walks off I tell my wife she doesn't know how to say nigiri, don't believe that, I don't think there is muscles in it. She thinks there is.... We get our shooters ( for always and forever that I've gotten a shooter they are in a shell) nope it's a shot glass with ponzu and an egg lmfao. Hers is ponzu hahahaha. She leaves and ignores us for a good 20 minutes about order. We get two rolls, it's all disgusting af. Waitress comes back and asks about desert. No thanks. Drops the check. $85 dollars all you can eat for two people lmfao. Um excuse me miss NO. We did not order two all you can eat. The next minute she is behind the bar talking to the sushi chef with a "oh shit they caught me attitude". Comes back asks us what was on the check..... like wtaf, if you can't remember what we ordered but just charge everyone for all you can eat and don't know what the correct terms for sushi are, damn girl good luck in life, you're gonna need it. If your a manager, if there is such thing as a manager. Might be good to contact me. This isn't ohana sushi it's "what's a sushi"

Yelp
Taking into consideration that it is a business where they sell raw fish and comparing it with other sushi businesses, the taste and smell of the fish was not very pleasant. As for the cleaning, the table they assigned to us was clean but we were on a table next to the wall and the wall was super dirty. The waitress who attended us was very kind and honestly I don't know if it was her fault but we ordered some appetizers and they never arrived when we asked the waitresss She told us that we had to order them again because she didn't know what had happened with the order. Apart from the appetizers, they also screwed up with a sushi, I had ordered a hand roll and they brought me a roll. The atmosphere was nice and they had good music.
