17 Best Cheap Date Restaurants in Boston - Eater Boston

"Oisa is one of the finest ramen shops in Boston, and nothing on its menu costs more than $15. Grab a couple of bowls — the tonkotsu, which is served with burnt garlic oil, pork belly, sesame seeds, pickled mustard greens, scallions, pickled ginger, and a soy egg, is especially tempting — and a couple of beers, and slurp away. If first-date conversation can’t survive this tiny, bustling spot, it probably wasn’t meant to be." - Terrence Doyle

Oisa Ramen - Review - Downtown - Boston - The Infatuation

"Working in downtown Boston can be tough. The commute sucks, it’s tough to find a bar without shamrocks on the wall, and a guy pretending to be John Hancock will threaten to tar and feather you when you go for your afternoon cortado. At least you can get some great ramen for lunch, though. Oisa Ramen is a counter-service spot on Broad Street that also serves poke and donburi bowls. It’s all good, but stick with the noodles and get the one with the truffles. photo credit: Natalie Schaefer" - Dan Secatore

A Fire Temporarily Shutters Back Bay Staple Trident Booksellers and Cafe - Eater Boston

"Oisa Ramen, currently open on weekdays, serves three ramen options for dining in and three donburi options for takeout. Two ramen options use Oisa’s vegan smoky shoyu stock, and there's also a pork-based tonkotsu." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
