A Riverside staple for homestyle Korean comfort—bubbling soondubu, galbi-tang, and grilled meats served cooked rather than DIY. Frequently recommended by Korean diners in local forums when you want flavor-first barbecue plates without the AYCE scene.

The tofu soup here blew me away. I didn’t have expectations because I’ve been disappointed by other restaurants before, but I ordered the vegetable soondubu (has broccoli, cauliflower, and mushroom with egg on the side to drop in) and the flavor of the broth was insanely good. I HIGHLY recommend getting tofu soup here and I definitely will be bringing friends and recommend in this spot. The banchan though was just ok.

Google
Below average, it took 20 minutes to serve side dishes. Service is slow. Quality of food is definitely declining. Very disappointing!

I’ve been coming to OK Tofu for over 20 years, and it’s still one of my favorite spots in Riverside! The food is always excellent, the service is awesome, and the staff treat you like family. A true gem that never disappoints.

Google
Staff was friendly, attentive, and the restaurant was cozy and inviting. Food took a bit but that's to be expected as it's not fast food and they want the dishes molten lava hot (the best way). Food was tasty and had big portions. 10/10

We were very excited to try this restaurant after hearing so many good things, but unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. We were seated immediately and placed our order quickly, but then waited over 1.5 hours for our food. During that time, someone who arrived after us were served earlier. It felt like being Korean meant getting served “faster”, even ahead of those who had waited much longer. Very disappointing experience. We won’t come back anymore. They lost us forever

Hejia Pan

Google
we arrived at 7:35pm and ordered item 1 and 2 on the menu. It is probably rush hour since our appetizer did not arrive until 8:05pm. Picked radish is too salty, Shrimp in the tofu soup is not fresh but dried. Salad in the appetizer is good. Pancake seems to be deep fried instead of baked? At one point manager took off mask when taking orders. Overall a very average Korean tofu restaurant.

Google
the food over here it’s AMAZING, service 10000/10, if this restaurant was closer to my house, I would be here every single day, even my parent that they never like to try new food, they LOVE this place, they can’t wait to comeback to the states so they can’t try again the food

Google
Lunch with my girlfriend 2 of us and we order a lot of food trying to substitute other meat even pay extra and not kitchen not allowed for it so we end up order all kind of meat, chicken, beef and pork 1 server he give for all you need and helpful Food is good fresh marinated, and side orders come with 6 different little dish Ambiance is normal peeling table and crag booth needs to be upgraded.

Yelp
This place was authentically amazing! The tofu soup was just the right spice. Sometimes you ask for spicy and it's not spicy at all. This time they did the damn thing. Everything here was so delicious! Service was a little slow but you can tell they are hustling. The place is clean and so worth it to eat here because you can ask for more banchan! They play Korean videos and it's not super loud but enough for you to hear your company and have a good conversation.

Yelp
I LOVE sundubu jigae. Like it's a serious problem. And normally I drive all the way to Rowland heights or Irvine for a fix but I came to OK tofu house with my colleagues back in March and then returned with my fiancé. This is a fantastic option if you don't want to make the min 40 minute trek to the OC! The service is fantastic, the owner and his wife are the sweetest people and remind me of my grandparents and good comes out really fast! The taste is decent and if it's raining outside, this will definitely fulfill the craving :) And the ambiance is so nice~ if you're a kdrama watcher, it basically feels like you're in one of the restaurants where the ahjumma brings you soju and pork belly

Yelp
If you're ever craving tofu soup or honestly anything korean outside of BBQ this is the spot for riverside! The quality of the food is top tier, the service is great when it's not super busy. Food is made to order so it always comes out piping hot and delicious! They have booths on both sides or long tables in the middle for larger parties. This spot has great portions and even though the price has gone up a bit since I first started coming here, it's still definitely worth it. My go to meal combo is the stone pot bibimbap and kimchi sundubu with beef. All the banchan are delicious too! Well worth the stop if you're in town!

Yelp
Service was excellent. They were very attentive and always brought us extra side dishes in a timely manner. The place inside is also very clean and well kept (just the outside is kind of sketch and doesn't look too safe). The food is just ok. It's not horrible just not that great, the kimchi they gave didn't taste good, and the soup and Bimbimbap could've just used more seasoning, it really lacked flavor. The japchae also wasn't that flavorful, and I've had better. The pancakes were descent and the fishcakes side dishes was good as well. Prices were ok, seemed on the higher side for the quality wasn't that great.

Yelp
Hidden gem if you're tired of kbbq!! They accommodate large parties, there's no funky smell. The food is delish and the service is friendly. I would go again and order different things. I think the spicy pork was too fatty - wouldn't get it again but the bbq ribs was good!
google avatar

Evie M.

Yelp
Yummy spicy tofu soup! I got the assorted kind with all the little sides! Super good!
google avatar

Dora T.

Yelp
I absolutely love their tofu soup here! So flavorful and generous portion! I have been here a couple of times already and my favorite is still their #8 Tripe tofu soup on their menu! It comes with some cold side dishes on the side too. Service is decent, seems like there's only one waitress working every time I go. The restaurant is clean and spacious with plenty of seatings. Parking is convenient too! The only thing that is keeping me from giving them a full 5 stars is maybe they can offer brown/purple rice too as a healthier option? Other than that, 2 thumbs up!
google avatar

Yelp
Really great place, it was nice to eat authentic Korean food that wasn't just KBBQ cook it yourself. Seems like it's family owned. The older women gave amazing service, she was really sweet and she was hustling serving all the tables pretty much by herself. I got the pork cutlet, japchae and the spicy rice cakes with cheese. It was all really good! I'm not sure how long this place has been around but I'm hoping to support it to stay around! Place is clean and simple, gave a nice sit down feel but keeping it casual! I really enjoyed it here.

Yelp
The wait for everything was so incredibly long from the time we sat down to leaving the restaurant, 2 hours already passed , and we were a party of TWO idk if it's because the lady is relying solely on the one other guy who works there (who was busting his ass already) or it was kitchen understaffing but that was ridiculous. Also, the food was incredibly mid, and the soondubu was lukewarm.
google avatar

Nhu D.

Yelp
Service was very efficient since they have iPads for ordering. The servers themselves were very helpful and kind. The food was really wonderful. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We got the spicy squid, spicy raw marinated crab, and seafood soondobu. All tasted great. The squid seems like a popular item and I see why! I believe the squid was grilled before tossed in sauce so it has a nice Smokey flavor. Definitely recommend this place :)
google avatar

Daphne D.

Yelp
I got the beef bulgogi and tofu soup combination takeout from this restaurant. The beef bulgogi was savory, slightly sweet, and filling. It was delicious. The tofu soup had a rich flavor but didn't have many beef pieces in it.
google avatar

Maria D.

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch. My husband ordered Bulgogi Bibimbap which did not look or tasted anything like Bibimbap. I ordered Octopus bibimbap, just like my husband's bibimbap, it did not look like bibimbap. To make matters worse, I probably found maximum of very small pieces of the octopus. Not only was the service slow but the server looked miserable working there!

Christine G.

Yelp
This restaurant is true to its's name. The food was "ok", the service was poor, the ambiance was average. I can't say I would return.
google avatar

Cherie S.

Yelp
We decided to check this place out and it did not disappoint! Food came out fast, piping hot, and full of flavor! We had the spicy braised ribs, pancakes, and spicy pork bulgogi. Both entrees came with a small bowl of steaming hot rice and a variety of small appetizers. The service was not as great and no one checked in on us after our food came out. Overall, Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Astrid P.

Yelp
Amazed at how good the food is. It was all delicious - I'll be torn if I had to choose only one dish The tofu and dumpling soup is killer good
google avatar

Jasmine D.

Yelp
Had dinner here last night with my husband because it's been cold lately and I've been wanting soup. He had the bbq rib combo with dumpling tofu soup and I opted for the assorted tofu soup (shrimp, clam, beef) very spicy. No food pics this time because I was hangry. The restaurant was fairly empty, as there was only one other party dining in. Lots of booth and table seating available. K-pop videos played on a tv by the front counter, but you can hear the music, which wasn't too loud. Banchan included kimchi, salad, broccoli, cucumber, fish cake and braised potatoes. Soup served piping hot and was just as spicy as I wanted it. Pricing has gone up over the years, but food still tastes delicious with the same great quality. Sadly, their scallion pancake is no longer free; but they still offer it (2 pieces for $5 or 5 pc for $10). Service was good, and they refilled banchan upon request.

Yelp
A hidden gem! There are limited options for good Asian food in IE so it was nice to find this place. Usually, I go for the tofu soup if it's on the menu but it was a really hot day so we opted for the combo with short ribs and cold noodles. It brings me back to my days in Korea. I also got the sweet and spicy fried chicken and it was delicious and HUGE! We had leftovers the next day. The Korean lady that was working was also nice and friendly so I would come back just to see her again. Highly recommend.

Mark G.

Yelp
Some people arrived later than us got their food earlier, and we waited 1hr until got some appetizers. Just because we are not the same nationality with the owner...
google avatar

Cát N.

Yelp
We went here for lunch on a weekday. The ambiance was great with nice kpop music! It seems like a mom and pop shop since there is only one server and she was very nice. Their tofu soup is actually really good, I ordered the veggie highest spice level- was actually very spicyy and sooo yummy! The bulgogi was just alright. Love that they have plenty of banchans.
google avatar

Terri B.

Yelp
I've been coming here for several years no and the food never fails to disappoint. The Kimchi Tofu Soup is absolutely amazing. Service has always been very good. We're always greeted when we enter and we are able to seat ourselves. Nice restaurant set up with plenty of tables available for small or large parties.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing tofu spot and a hidden gem! I've never seen this place packed, but it's so amazing every time I go. I ordered the soft tofu soup combo with the spicy octopus, and I NEED TO GO BACK. I'm trying to save money right now, and it isn't the cheapest option, but it's so worth. It's basically 1 1/2 or even 2 meals for the cost. I wouldn't say the dishes exactly balance each other out because they're both pretty heavy dishes, but they're both soo good separate. The only thing I'd want to change about the place is that the spiciness level isn't to par with what I expected. I ordered medium, but it tasted like it had no spice whatsoever. The food came out quickly, but it took us ten minutes to flag down a server for the check. Nevertheless, I'M COMIN BACK :)
google avatar

Xelina J.

Yelp
Service is polite and fast. Restaurant itself is quaint and clean. The banchan (sides) are great! They have more variety than other korean tofu places I've eaten at. I normally order the beef tofu stew (medium spicy) with bulgogi combination. Love their sizzling plates and stews. This place is our go to in the area.

Yelp
Our new favorite Korean spot for sure! Amazing service, delicious food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Amazing!! This place is definitely bomb.com, I'm so happy I just tried it for the first time tonight! Everything was so delicious and authentic. It was exactly what we were hoping for on a cold night. Had the dumpling tofu soup w/ all the sides & korean pancakes. If you haven't tried it, you must try, you won't regret it!

Truc I.

Yelp
the service come from their owner is bad. Me and my boyfriend came in and wait about 30 mins for them to get our order, meanwhile there's another family come in after us and get to order first and their food even serve before us. From what I heard when the owner talk to that family by Korean language, I understand there's something unfair treatment going on over here. My family come here a lot but this would be the last time we come here.
google avatar

Lexy L.

Yelp
One of the best tofu soup I've ever had. Will always come back to this place. I wish they open late so I can come over after work but they do closes at 8pm daily. Food is great, service is awesome. It's a hole in the wall, but you'll be surprised how homey and delicious their food are.
google avatar

Yelp
As a Loma Linda Native craving Korean food, the choices are limited. After a short yelp search, a Korean national and I decided to check out this tofu house. To our pleasant surprise we found a delicious and homey establishment. With our first bite of the jeon (pancake) we KNEW we were in for quite the treat! Next came the sundubu (tofu soup) and galbi and LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! A delectable and tantalizing experience attacked the buds within my tongue leaving both my physical and mental being distended. The only grievance would be the temperature and spice. The Galbi wasn't as hot as expected and the medium sundubu was less than a mild! Nonetheless, the OK tofu house was much more than OK!!
google avatar

Abraham K.

Yelp
More than OK! The broth is very rich and flavorful. Restaurant is clean and service was fast and friendly.
google avatar

Ale B.

Yelp
Happy to have found a Korean restaurant that wasn't just KBBQ, the location is a very hole in the wall place because the big parking lot makes it look very empty. When we walked in it was very welcoming we loved all the Korean ads they had but other than that it's a very plain place with a calm environment! The service was quick and When it came to the food everything was a 10/10!! We got: - Beef Bulgogi - Kimchi Tofu soup (tastes more like cabbage than anything but good) - Japchae - Scallion pancakes - White rice - Banchan (the sides) This restaurant is every authentic and it seems like a restaurant you would find in K-Town in LA! Riverside is lucky to have this place.

Yelp
Best Korean Food in Riverside California. Their cold is awesome and Tofu Soup is amazing. Check this place out
google avatar

Phi D.

Yelp
I came here by myself on a Sunday evening around 7 pm and dust thing I noticed was a large group of Korean people, which to me is a great indicator this place mãi be good and authentic. There were two workers and the Korean lady greeted me and seated me right away. Super friendly. After sitting down, I was attended to by the 10 minute mark. Service was efficient and quick. They even made a new batch of rice, which added that personal touch. The food was awesome! I felt like eating a meatless dinner so I resulted with the vegetable soup with medium heat. If you're sensitive to spicy I would recommend the mild because the medium was a pretty good kick, but not where it'll numb your tongue. I love how the decorations is very humbling and not exotic. It definitely brings an ambiance of home and cozy
google avatar

Yelp
One of the OGs for Korean food in the riverside area, been serving up great tofu soup for years. Favorites gotta be the octopus stone pot bibimbap and the seasonal summer spicy cold noodles!

Yelp
Best soon doo bu (korean tofu soup) in Riverside!! As a Korean-American born and raised in So-Cal, I've tried a crap ton of korean resturants all around; OK Tofu House's selections are pretty good! I had their beef tofu soup at a spicy level, and it was extremely delicious! It hit all the right, rich flavors that I was looking for, although I wish it was a tad bit more spicier. my girlfriend and I also had their spicy chicken, which was also delicious! I've had better spicy chicken elsewhere, but it was still good here. we also had their vegetable pancakes, which were delicious! a bit thicker than the typical korean pancakes, but the taste and quality was identical to many I've tried in the past. I read another review saying that OK Tofu House doesn't compare to other restaurants of the same cuisine, and I have to agree. If you go to other surrounding cities where there are more options and a higher Korean population, of course you'll find better restaurants to your liking. But I can confidently say that this restaurant has a great selection that serves a competitive dish, and I never hesitate to eat here! On top of that, they're playing amazing kpop music (shoutout gfriend!), and the music videos are playing on the TVs (although they're kinda small). Service is also great. Our server checked up on us the perfect amount; not too much and not too little.

Yelp
This is an awesome mom and pop Korean restaurant that serves delicious Korean dishes. We love to come here during cold weather especially when it's raining. Nothing like Korean tofu soup on cold day/night. Get their scallion PANCAKES and GALBI with your meal and you'll be happy. Last time we were here I tried the #6 SOYBEAN tofu soup , which has mushroom, clam, and beef. I was sharing with my mother who can't handle spicy food, so we got the white version... And it just wasn't the same. Ended up asking them if there's any way to make it mild spicy instead and they were nice enough to change it out for us. This time, I tried the #3 ASSORTER tofu soup, which has beef, shrimp, and clam. Got it mild and it was perfect. I prefer the regular tofu soup to the soybean one actually. I wonder if I can ask for the #3 without the shrimp because I wasn't a fan. My husband always gets the same thing -- the #8 TRIPE tofu soup, which actually has small INTESTINEs in them and no tripes. He loves the stuff. I keep trying, but I just don't like it. Will be sticking to the seafood variety. Reminder: make sure to put the egg in at the beginning, preferably while it's still boiling.

Yelp
The food is great. Ordered the bibimbap and the tofu soup. Everything came out really quick. The banchans were also delicious.
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
the food was amazing, fresh, timely delivered. I felt the price is a bit high for the portions, but maybe it's the economy. great service. good ambiance. ordered the combo. made my day when I was craving korean tofu and beef

Danna H.

Yelp
I love coming here! The food is so delicious I love getting the combo hot stone bibimbap with tofu soup. Their pancakes are also delicious.
google avatar

M J.

Yelp
They're not just "OK" they're great lol. If there's one thing you should order, it's the 감자탕 (potato pork soup). I love when Korean restaurants garnish their stews with perilla leaves and perilla seeds; it tasted so flavorful and authentic. Like it came from my grandma's kitchen in the Korean countryside. Side dishes were also yummy. 1000/10
google avatar

Diana P.

Yelp
Ok tofu house is one of my favorite restaurants in Riverside. They serve a variety of Korean dishes and the restaurant style is very cozy and welcoming. We always get seated quickly even when we come in a large party. My go to order is the bibimbap with dumpling tofu soup. They serve generous portions always leaving me with extra to go.

Janais V.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, and every time I go it's so delicious. I tried the tofu kimchi soup and YUM, yes I would recommend. I also tried the honey chicken. It was crispy and savory. The server is also very kind. It is a little expensive, but they also offer side dishes which accounts for the more expensier side.
google avatar

Louisa L.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant out on a Saturday night for dinner and loved it! It was not busy at all, and we were one of the only diners there at that time. I ordered the seafood soft tofu stew, which was served piping hot and was super flavorful! There was a pretty good variety of banchan as well. Prices are a bit cheaper than other more well-known tofu houses I've been to like BCD and Tofu Bean, but definitely comparable in terms of taste and quality! I 100% recommend giving this place a try if you're here in Riverside!
google avatar

Christhel C.

Yelp
Love this place as it offers combos for tofu soup and main dishes. Growing up in LA I spoiled as we had so many different food options. I'd dedescribe this place as a "hole in the wall, gem". If you want to eat out and are craving homey korean dishes, this is the place to go. It really gives that vibe of mom/pop korean homey type food. Sadly I don't see the old Korean man anymore (who I think owns the place), but I hope he is doing well. The staff is pretty attentive, you just need to know to raise your hand if you need to call them. I definitely recommend this place.
google avatar

Devita R.

Yelp
It's a hole in a wall Korean tofu house in Riverside. Been coming here for years and never disappointed with their food. The original owner (grandpa) retired and now is being run by the kids and grandson, super nice family.
google avatar

Lahleeh V.

Yelp
Our first time to dine here today. The place is quiet and there's enough parking to choose from. K-pop groups on tv are shown the whole time we are there. The music is not too loud. We ordered korean pancakes, japchae, dumpling/tofu soup and spicy chicken. The wait is not long since there are only 5-6 tables that are occupied. The ahjumma who took the order is very nice and gave us 6 side dishes that goes with our order and gave me more side dishes when she asked me if I like the side dishes - my favorite kimchi and relish ( made of radish ). The food are hot and sizzling. Definitely, we are coming back to try their bibimbap.
google avatar

Akoito B.

Yelp
The seafood tofu soup is really good and spicy chicken too. My kids ordered the spicy pork and they like it too. I wish they have a bigger serving of tofu soup combo
google avatar

Rebekah B.

Yelp
My comfort food! love the staff. Food is constantly good. Love the banchan. This is the place I choose when I'm happy, sad, and everything in between.

Yelp
Came back again after a while, me and another friend whom never had Korean food in her life decided to come here since i recommended to her and she agrees. We walked from school and luckily this place was near my house lol, we came in and we were greeted well and nicely by a Korean name Alex. He took care of us and he look awesome. The food was good as always and my friend enjoyed it a lot. We had the Bibimbap, Grilled Pork ribs, Sweet and chili chicken, rice, and whole other stuff that we ordered which made us both full and my friend took the rest of the leftovers home with her lol. We are gonna come back again soon! Thank you Ok Tofu House! :D

Yelp
Great service, clean bathrooms and real authentic Korean food unlike a lot of these chain restaurants. This is the real deal!

Yelp
This place is the best kept secret in Riverside. The kim chi tofu stew is crazy good.
