Glitzy Cocktail Bar Okay Anny’s Is Opening at Politan Row at Ashford Lane in Dunwoody | Eater Atlanta

"Tucked inside the forthcoming Politan Row at Ashford Lane, Okay Anny’s is set to debut in early 2024 as a cocktail bar and lounge that channels a glitzy, late-1980s/early-1990s aesthetic. I note that it will echo the glamorous 1970s-style sibling JoJo’s Beloved in Midtown but lean into the culture, music, movies and TV of the late ’80s and early ’90s, with bold abstract design—think brass and fern mixed with mirrored blinds, brightly colored acrylics, and vaporwave-inspired decor—backed by a soundtrack of guilty-pleasure pop, dance tracks, chart-topping hip-hop, and new wave; the concept is described as where Marty McFly meets the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Cocktails will offer updated takes on kitschy classics like the Kamikaze and Colorado Bulldog and variations on the Cosmo. Last night was incredible! Quan played music from all eras, and kept the vibe perfect all night. The dance floor never emptied because every taste was satisfied. Huge shoutout to the bartenders for outstanding customer service: friendly, fast, and on point with recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!

This is my second time coming here in 2 weeks and both times have been a vibe. The music and energy is always on point and the service is great! The drinks are all delicious too. All the bartenders are amazing and I will continue to come back here, definitely a hidden gem !

This place is really great and cool. Nice ambiance and our bartenders were great and helped with recommendation of drinks. Okay Anny’s gives off an entire 80s vibe theme along with 80s music. They even had old school trapper keepers as their menu. We had a great time. A place where you can sit, chill and sip for a date night.

Such a great vibe between the drinks, the aesthetic, and especially the service. I sat at the bar and was served by Johnel. He was knowledgeable of the drinks y’all offered and really kept the energy high for me and my friends who were out celebrating my new job. I’d absolutely recommend. I rarely even leave reviews, but the service and overall fire vibe was top notch!

Went for my birthday. I LOVE their sister bar JoJo's Beloved, so when I saw that this one existed I knew I had to check it out. The drinks were great but aside from the decor, there was nothing 80s/90s about the ambiance. I walked in to trap music. I had to ask for 80s music and they only played it for about 30 min before switching back. Someone from the DJ's crew bought me a drink though, so that was cool. It was much smaller than jojo's and there is no wait service. I only mention this because even if you make a reservation, you still be seating yourself wherever. Overall it was alright, but I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting the same level of branding and class as JoJo's.
