Wow ! First , the simple but highly thought out menu and execution !!!!! Delicate flavors and beautiful flavors from the soup , technique of presoaking the rice to absorb more broth, the use of the pork shoulder and neck for a clean finish instead of a fatty greasiness. The hot suyuk is korean perfection !!!! It packs a flavor bomb that isnt overpowered by most over seasoned foods. Yes its a simple menu but there is beauty on the elevated execution and intent.

Had a great meal at OKDONGSIK Bayside! The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender inside — you can tell they really care about quality. The set menu felt well thought out and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Service was attentive, though there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. Overall, a delicious and satisfying experience. Would definitely come back

This is a healthy-style dish — comforting and light. It’s rice served in pork bone broth, with absolutely no oil. You get about 10 slices of extremely thin, tender pork. The broth has very mild seasoning, so I recommend adding some red pepper to the pork for more flavor. I also ordered a side dish: the seafood omelette. It was lightly seasoned and came topped with marinated onions, which added a refreshing tang. The staff were kind and patient, and the service was excellent — attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a clean, wholesome meal with tender pork, no oil, and light flavors. Just keep in mind that the broth and pork are on the mild side, so those who prefer bolder seasoning may want to add condiments to suit their taste.

Loved my first visit to Okdongsik in Bayside. Named as a Michelin Bib-Gourmond restaurant and so well deserved. They serve food for the soul. The pork bone broth "Dweji-Gometang" was a delicate balance of flavor and thinly cut slices of pork. The rice is soaked in with the broth - nostalgia of home cooking yet elevated. Even the bowls and plating were simple but refined. My favorite dish was the slow cooked pork collar and the Donkatsu. Both are a must try. The kimchi dumplings were refreshing and a flavor boost to the mild tasting menu. If you're going to do simple and have a small menu, it must be perfect. And Okdongsik offers a well balanced flavorful menu.

Google
3.5 stars Comfort food done without frills. I like the minimalist presentation from menu to the food. I had not try this in Korea so i can only say the pork soup was light with natural pork flavor. The taste and smell was not overpowering like other review had mentioned. The kimchi mandoo was very moist from the tofu filling, mild spicy and good. The seafood pancake was fluffy and flavorful. A good meal on a cold day.

Google
Essence of Simplicity . Since 2018, OKDONGSIK Seoul has been listed in the MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand. Recognized as one of the top 8 Best Dishes in NYC 2023 by Pete Wells from The New York Times. . They only offer one main dish: Dweji-Gomtang / Gluten Free Clean and savory pork broth • Served with rice, Seokbakji, and Gochuji - $16, with extra meat -$20 . The dish doesn’t look anything special, it looks plain if anything. A bowl of rice, hot pork broth, with thinly sliced pork and topped with some scallion. It’s really nothing fancy but man, it was so good. It was so comforting. It’s not very strong in flavor, so you really taste the pureness of the pork broth. You can enhance it with their house made fermented pepper paste, to me, it doesn’t need it. The taste is very homey, as if your mom or grandma made it. It really soothes the soul. When I grew, we would eat rice with hot water to stretch the meal, except here, it’s pork broth. . The rice isn’t mushy, so it has a nice texture to it. It’s like overnight nice except it wasn’t. Each grain is on its own is what I’m trying to say. . The pork is very thinly sliced, thinner than some shabu shabu meat. . This kind of food is not for everyone, I think it’s more of a mature palette. I think as I got older, my palette is more simple. I still like food that has lots of salt/strong flavors but i also enjoy simple foods like this. . They have a few sides, kimchi dumplings, seafood pancake and their slow-cooked pork-chilled which is served with their house made pepper paste but this one has anchovies so it has a saltier taste. . It’s not the largest serving but to me it was the perfect portion. I seldom finish any broth dish but here, there was no a drop of broth or a single grain of rice left. I was very satisfied. . Prices differ in the city, this is the one from Bayside. I’ve been to both locations, the bayside one feels a bit more relaxed and spacious.

Google
They've added donkatsu (fried pork cutlet) to their menu at this Bayside location only (as of July 2025). The meat was tender and the breading was fried to a perfect crisp. At $19, I would say this quality of donkatsu is incredible.

Google
lovely edition to bayside. gomtang was delicious- tastes like a home cooked meal. i wish the broth was hotter in temperature, halfway through the broth went lukewarm! donkatsu was very impressive, paired well with the soup and sides! service was good, but they did forget our kimchi mandoo which was a bummer.

Yelp
When i first came here when it opened i rated it a 2 star. I came back and It's honestly amazing. The comfort warm taste and homey feeling on every bite is great. In inside is amazing and clean and modern. The workers are nice and polite as well. I've been ordering a lot on doordash as well and it comes perfectly well and taste as good as it is in person.

Yelp
This tiny Korean spot only serves two things: dwejigomtang (pork bone soup with rice and sliced pork) and kimchi mandoo. The dwejigomtang was just okay for me. Clean, light, and comforting -- the broth was clear and warming, and I appreciated the simplicity. But personally, I found it a little bland and I'm not much of a rice person, so I skipped that part and just enjoyed the broth and tender pork slices (which were great dipped in the gochujang paste and paired with kimchi). Now the kimchi mandoo... was AMAZING. Fat, juicy, and packed with flavor. Possibly the best I've ever had and that includes the ones I tried in Korea. The wrapper-to-filling ratio was perfect and the flavor was on point. You're seated bar-side, served cold green tea to start, and the whole experience is fast, quiet, and peaceful. It's a perfect solo dining spot when you want something clean and satisfying. tip: limited seating, so reserve ahead. Bonus: there's a hidden speakeasy bar tucked in the back

Yelp
Had a wonderful lunch with friends with Sous Chef Jimmy at the helm. The open wrap around counter seating is cool - you get a good view of the prep and plating action, no matter where you sit. The ambiance is Sirene and the decor is simple, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The plan here was to sample as many dishes as possible and we shared everything as a group. Each dish had it's own star quality about it and it was hard to pick a favorite. Personally I loved the simmered pork collar meat with radish salad, called the Gabrisal Suyuk. Each piece was tender, moist and had just the right amount of fat on the trim. It was a standout dish. Of course the draw was the signature Dweji-Gometang. That pork bone broth was clean and refreshing. Thinly sliced pork served at the perfect temperature and rice soaked in the soup to boot. It's a bowl that feeds your soul. My second favorite dish of the day. A must try - Kimchi dumplings. Spicy and simple - a delicious flavor profile. Honestly, everything I ordered, I enjoyed. The pork Donkatsu is also a must try. Crispy exterior, tender pork and savory. I could've eaten the whole thing by myself! For a boutique dining experience, this is easily a favorite. Prices are very reasonable, good value and the food is just elevated. The taste reminds me of home cooked meals but in a fancier presentation - it is Michelin Bib-Gourmond rated. I can see why!

Yelp
Super excited that Okdongsik opened in Bayside so I can see what the buzz is about without going into Manhattan! They don't take reservations and you join on the waitlist through an iPad when you come in. Came here with a group of 5 and we had to split into two groups as the max party you can have on a single reservation is 4. We visited on a late Friday evening and there was some wait but was quite reasonable. The interior was very clean and modern though not a lot of seating available (probably around 10 seats). It's a very small menu but they execute it very well. I got the Dweji-Gomtang and really loved the broth. It was a very comforting and loved how nicely the pork slices paired with the gochujang paste. The mandoo was juicy and filled with flavor and the perfect amount of wrapper. Prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food and it is definitely a memorable dining experience. Don't expect anything too crazy but Okdongsik is a great pick when you are craving some homey food.

Yelp
Wow, I had such a great experience at Okdongsik in Bayside! The menu only has a few items on it, which makes choosing what to get easy. We got the kimchi mandoo and pork bone broth, which came with radish kimchi and a dipping sauce for the pork. The bone broth was amazing and felt very light and well flavored. The pork was sliced thinly and paired well with the dipping sauce. The kimchi dumplings were tasty too, so much better than frozen ones! The filling inside was of a good texture and I liked the thin skin. I felt like I was a Korean home and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The portion size was just right. The chilled barley tea was also so refreshing, especially since it was a hotter day and the soup itself was warm too. Everything complemented each other well. The restaurant was very clean and service was fast and friendly. I would love to come back for the pork bone broth again and to try other items on the menu. This would be perfect for a cold winter day or after a long day of work. Very satisfied with my experience!

Yelp
They offer Tonkatsu now! It's really tender inside despite the thick cut. I also love all the pickles that come with it.

Yelp
What a unique experience. They have a very small menu, but everything on it was packed full of flavor and made with precision care. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The Katsu was the most moist and properly fried to taste like air. Service outstanding. Must try spot!

Yelp
Came back and on a Sunday night and had the most amazing katsu! The pork is super juicy and batter is perfectly light and crunchy. A great addition to the menu! They also have a seasonal cold kimchi noodle perfect for warm weather. Their new boiled pork with kimchi is crazy good too. We will be back!

Yelp
DoorDash experience review! I had a pretty hectic Saturday morning at work, so I decided to give myself a little treat. I had wanted to go to Okdongsik before, but I missed all my opportunities in NYC and in Seoul. My jaw dropped when I saw the Bayside location on DD the other day. Now, I come from Busan, which is their region known for pork bone soups (dweji gukbap), so I've had really good and really bad versions of this dish. Also, we make this at home sometimes. I think when talking about Okdongsik, the price gets mentioned. This is a very underrated dish because even just regular dweji gukbap is difficult to make well. Just because this is an Asian dish with humble ingredients does not mean this deserves to be priced less than a plate of steak. (Doordash upcharged a dollar for the soups and two for all the side stuff... that, I have a gripe with!) The order of gweji gomtang came with a bowl of rice and pork slices, a container of soup separated, a small container of radish kimchi (seokbakji) and a red pepper paste (gochu-ji). The soups is so clear and clean but flavorful. If you ever made this dish before, you'd know just this requires a lot of artistry. Add in the thin pork slices that remind you of thinly-sliced honey ham-- so tender but no weird gaminess we sometimes get from pork. The only criticism I had was of the rice. We usually warm up the rice by rinsing with the hot soup a few times before pouring the soup in to be served (in a process called "toryum"). Unfortunately the quality of the rice was not it. It seemed like they used a cheap variety and therefore the soup flavor never really soaked into the rice and the whole mouthfeel felt almost grainy. As for the sides, the radish kimchi was nothing remarkable. The mashed pepper paste tasted very fresh and was unique. I put a tiny bead of it on top of every bite of meat (as to not ruin the clarity of the soup). I'm very excited that Okdongsik has opened in Queens and that I was able to taste very good quality Korean meal in the middle of the work day. Now, I am excited to try them at their Bayside location with my family.

Yelp
Beautiful space with comfortable seating and quick service! You may have to put your name on a waitlist but since restaurant serves a limited menu, service is relatively quick and seamless so i wouldn't anticipate a long wait. The menu is very simple and straightforward - 돼지 곰탕 and some appetizers and drinks. The soup is very clear and still flavorful and well seasoned. The pork is served in very thin layers that are super soft and delicious - the regular portion serves a generous amount but the extra meat option is only +$4 for +50g. We also got the Kimchi Mandoo which was very succulent and well packed - I wish we got more! This isn't your typical Korean soup-rice place - it's more upscale, intimate and relatively quiet. I think this is ideal if you're looking for a solo quick bite.

Yelp
The spot has a fresh and clean ambiance to it. It's open but also cozy at the same time. Service is friendly and attentive - always serving with a smile :) The menu is simple and to the point. The kimchi dumplings were very flavorful and soft and the main course itself was quite comforting. It brought me back to my childhood when my grandma would make me soup with rice on a cold gloomy day - which I loved. I think the price point is a bit up there for the serving size of appetizers and a simple comfort food, but still definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Love the aesthetic with the counter seating, coat hangers along the wall, and most of the food pre-prepared behind the counter. Service is really friendly and quick. The Kimchi Radish banchan has a decent kimchi flavor, though not my favorite texturally. The outside is soft, probably from sitting in the ferment liquid, but does have a bite inside. Kimchi Mandoo is soft on the inside with a thin but held together wrapper. It had a decent kimchi flavor as well, and mostly tasted of that and tofu. The menu lists pork as an ingredient, but I couldn't tell there was any pork in it. Better to just make it a vegetarian mandoo. Dweji Gomtang is definitely light in flavor. It is a very clean broth, so don't expect richness. Adding the Gochu Ji gives it a bit of a kick and extra fermented flavor. If you put more than half of what they give you, you won't be able to taste the soup anymore. The meat is sliced thinly and cooked well. Just be sure to mix your bowl up before digging in! Maesil (Korean Green Plum) Ade was decent, though I wouldn't order it again. It's just seltzer + syrup so the flavor was probably the strongest flavor of my entire meal. Overall, you have to like this kind of flavor to enjoy a meal here. Everything is light, so if that's what you like then this is the spot for you. Otherwise, you'll be disappointed.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this after hearing all of the hype about this place and their Michelin recognitions... Unfortunately, their food felt extremely short of expectations. I see earlier comments mentioning that the broth was salty, but in my experience, the broth was very bland and not flavorful. Not sure if this is because they just opened up this location, but I would think they have a standard recipe... Nothing about the gomtang stood out at all. It was literally sliced pork with a clear bland broth and a scoop of rice in it. The dumplings were OK, nothing special. The meaty seafood cake was also just OK, not writing home about it. Unfortunately, everything fell short of expectations, and I will not be returning as none of the dishes were memorable at all

Yelp
Finally it's opened after months and months of waiting! Happy to see a simple yet classy restaurant opening up on Bell. I've been to the city location before and I would say the flavors are up to par. I think the broth is slightly saltier but it was still a very clean and fragrant soup. I actually think the star is the kimchi dumplings which had a very thin skin and hearty filling. The seafood cake was just okay- nothing crazy. On a cold winter day, this restaurant is a perfect cozy option! There were only two workers for the whole restaurant so I give props to them! Plenty of street metered parking outside! Also, no reservations- all walk- in only. You can put your name down on the kiosk and they'll text you when the table is ready.

Yelp
Service and food were great. Hardly any wait time at all. Kimchi mandoo was great (2 per order) The gomtang was flavorful but not overpowering. Meat was so tender and loved dipping the meat in the pepper sauce they give separately; gives it a nice kick!

Yelp
If a place only has a limited menu, I would hope they nail the few dishes they specialize in. I came with high expectations because when they first opened in Manhattan there was a huge wait. The broth was very flavorful with the right amount of pepper and paired well with the rice. I wish there was a bit more protein. We also shared both appetizers - nothing WOW but good to try. Would probably come back if I'm craving something warm and homey.

Yelp
Okdongsik has been on my radar ever since I saw their pop up location on social media. Unfortunately, I read that there were lines out the door with people waiting to try this 'gukbap' (loosely translated as soup with rice) so I never got to try it. Okdongsik now has two permanent locations though, with one conveniently in Queens. Dining early on a weekday, there were no such lines at this Bayside location. The space is very clean and minimalistic. We were seated quickly and served barley tea. I ordered the dweji-gomtang, kimchi mandoo and the tangerine ade. The food came out in a quick pace. The tangerine ade, which is described as a fermented jeju tangerine drink, is delicious. It is refreshing, slightly sweet and slightly tart. The kimchi mandoo was awesome too; very flavorful and a very thin dumpling skin. If it weren't 2 for $5, I would order several orders of this. The dweji gomtang, their signature dish, was served with radish kimchi and gochuji, a paste of peppers (for the meat to be dipped in). The server recommended not puttng the gochuji into the broth itself. The broth was very light and clean, flavorful but not unctuous and pork-y. All in all, a very satisfying and filling meal. I would definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu!

Yelp
I was excited when I heard they opened a bayside location. I wanted to see what the hype was about. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed. I was told to expect a very simple, clean broth, but there was nothing really special about it. I enjoyed the meal, but it's not something I'd crave or want to go back for. The mandoo skin was nice and thin, but just too mushy for me. The seafood cake was nothing special either. All in all, not bad, but nothing amazing.

Jihyeon A.

Yelp
As a Korean it is was a different experience. When you go to eat a gook-bab you immediately think of hot boiling soup in a stone bowel. But this is a very different type of gook-bab. It not hot but warm and comfortable to eat right away. Loved having only few items on the menu. One thing i want to comment is i think they soak the rice in the soup (토렴) before actually serving the dish. Which is a big plus cuz not many restaurants do this. Liked the idea of open kitchen and staff was very friendly. Although the dish was very good it was not my cup of tea. I think once or twice is sufficient for me
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Ordered kimchee mandu & dweji gomtang. My friend and I enjoyed the meal. The service is good. They refill your water and ask if you need more radish. I can't wait to come back for some more soups in this frigid weather. It is clean and well lit in here.

Yelp
Aw yea the second one in NYC is Bayside -woot! I was excited to have this especially as I missed lunch due to errands and it was windy aF today. Next time I'd get the larger order with more pork. I was pleasantly impressed w the quality of the meat because usually pork is too dense for me and I generally prefer kalbi tang more but this ...chef's kiss. I love soup so I'd go year round but I could def have this daily in winter months when I'm perpetually cold and dehydrated w chapped lips no matter what. It was no wait but I went at like 415p. As others mention it could be a one trick pony but I love that it's not filled w MSG and it is labeled GF. It's on the block across from White Castle on Bell (east side) and down past BofA closer to Northern. A nice addition to Bell - I hope it does well!!

Yelp
We've been keeping an eye on Okdongsik's opening in bayside for a few months now through their social media so we were so excited to see that it opened. The interior of the store is a lot more spacious than the location in Manhattan. The layout is very similar, and thankfully there is a lot more seating. It is kind of intimidating inside honestly as it is quite quiet, and there isn't much talking inside. But nonetheless, love the modern interior and how simple and clean everything looks. We of course ordered the gomtang, it was light yet full-bodied, comforting, and filling. I feel like it was salted a bit heavier than the city, but im not entirely sure. Either way, everything about it was perfect. The rice was the perfect consistency , it wasn't overcooked or undercooked with a slight texture in the center. The soup is light yet full of flavor. The thin pieces of meat were perfectly sliced, with the balance of both fatty and lean portions. Each part of the dish complemented itself very well and was overall my favorite part of our meal. We did wish there was leafy kimchi but instead we got seasonal radish, which was more on the watery side when you bite into it and not fermented for as long as id have liked. We also ordered the haemul wanja and naeng jeyuk which was a bit underwhelming in my opinion, I definitely thought we could go without it next time. The haemul wanja kinda of just tasted like an omelet, and the naeng jeyuk mightve just not been our type of food. We thought it was a bit too mild in taste. The pricing was everything was really good, we thought it was a great price point for both the quality and the quantity of food. Service was pretty subpar, they didn't really talk to us, just took our order and let us eat which is fine. Overall, would recommend. TLDR; loved the gomtang, could skip the harmul wanja and naeng jeyuk, just okay service, modern and simple interior.

Yelp
Appreciate the simple things that bring joy into our lives. They only serve one main dish- Dweji Gomtang, and it's so comforting and good. The clear pork broth w/ thinly sliced pork and short grained rice is so simple yet refined. Get some kimchi mandoo on the side. They just opened in Bayside, Queens
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Went here 2 weeks after their opening, walking in it felt like I was in a restaurant in the city- I love the modern classy design! It's a pretty intimate, small space with only bar seating while there's two workers making food/preparing drinks in front of you. We ordered their signature dish, Dweji- gomtang, honestly I thought it was a little underwhelming but maybe because I came in really hungry and this dish was more on the simpler side. The meat was tender and good with the sauce they gave. The soup and rice were great as comfort meals. I can see myself coming here on a cold day. I talked to one of the workers for a brief moment to ask how long they've been open and what other locations they had and that was it which is fine. Overall 7/10 experience and food

Yelp
Classy and clean decor and ambiance, definitely a welcome change compared to other restaurants on Bell. The food, however, was really disappointing. No flavor or depth to the soup, meat was mid, and so were the dumplings. Really hope they can turn things around, as they got everything but the food right lol.

Yelp
My new goto for rice soup bowl, I love how their seating is omakase style and the soup tastes really clean and always consistent. Nice deep flavor with no pork gamey taste~ fast friendly service.

Yelp
I love restaurants with a simple menu. I feel that there more attention to detail and depth in the food. Okdongsik has the hallmarks of a focused, craftsman like menu with its soup. Not to mention friendly service and a clean space!

Such an exalted place to experience!!! Food presentation is under perfect control of chef as he intended. My eyes, taste buds, and GI systems all became amazed. I was lucky to have donkatsu today on May 29th, which was a pop-up menu. Dweji Gomtang, which I had a week ago in Manhattan was such an exquisite soup. My Switzerland friend and I were very impressed. The general atmosphere was pleasantly serene. Serving workers are professional. It's totally worthy to drive a long distance to get there.

Yelp
I was pretty excited to try this place due to all the hype it's been getting for the past 2 years. I took my parents here for lunch and we left unsatisfied. The portion is super small considering it to be a gukbap, my mom was shocked at the portion. One thing I really need to mention is the awful smell coming from the pork meat. I've seen their set up and they keep sliced pork in the fridge and reheat it with the broth by pouring it on the pork then back into the boiling pot. Since it wasnt super hot, there was a very weird smell from the pork. I couldn't finish my meal. I'm not sure if this place will survive with their city prices and city portions in Queens where it's known for authentic gukbap serving an endless amount of side dishes with reasonable pricing.

Yelp
Miminalist menu but what they have, they do right. More restaurants should have this type of concept. Focus on an item that you are good at instead of trying to offer an extensive menu that will take 30 mins for me to read thru. Service was excellent, the broth was so clean and flavorful, kimchee mandoo was soft and delicious, and their radish kimchee is the best! My mom loved it so much, we came twice this week.

Yelp
Simple menu. The broth is clean and light. Service is fast since only 5 items in the whole menu. Modern Korean spots with bar table set up. The pork is very tender. If you want more meat in your broth, simple order the large size( come with extra meat) Seafood egg dish is a good appetizer and the pickle onion totally enhances the flavor. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
GOOD MEAL! Dweji-gomtang (pork bone broth soup) is really smooth and clear paired very well with Go-Chu Ji(fermented peppers paste) and Kimchi. I love Kimchi Mandoo, it's very flavorful. The Service was professional. The Atmosphere was cozy. Would definitely go there again!

Yelp
I don't know where to begin.. I had ordered take out from this place. Their gookbap is very bland and pork actually smelled pretty bad.. I couldn't eat the pork in the soup.. Kimchi dumpling was okay but nothing special about it.. I thought it was going to be decent size dumpling considering how much they charge for two pieces but they are very very small.. only thing I liked about this place was their containers and chopstick. They use very sturdy take out container for their soup and chopstick was very nice.. it wasn't one of those cheap take out chopstick. Probably will not visit this place again.

Yelp
Definitely Korean comfort food. Our first time having this and it was not too bad. The menu was very limited so we tried 3 out of the 4 items. Everything was good. The service by the staff was amazing as well. Since it was all communal table, we chatted with the server, Job. He was very kind, attentive and very informative. Keep up the amazing work!

Yelp
Different from your typical pork soup. Their broth was so clean but flavorful. Very comforting!

Yelp
This place reminded me of some Japanese restaurants where there's only counter seating, but this is a Korean restaurant. They only serve 4 food items: seafood fish cake(good), gyoza (fair), cold pork (boring and bland) and their signature dish which is a rice pork soup broth with thinly sliced pork that you can dip into some bean paste (very good clear broth). The simplicity of it all makes for a very light meal... and enough room to get dessert elsewhere on Bell Blvd.

Yelp
I think overall the atmosphere was very good even though it was very small, I really enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant, very classy and elegant. We enjoyed the food very much, the soup was hearty and delicious.

Yelp
I had such high expectation knowing this restaurant's reputation and what they represent. I had their dweji Gomtang and kimchi Mandoo today finally and man what a disappointment. The pork soup which is supposed to be made of pork broth had no flavor at all. The pork broth is the key. It has to be the hearty the deep thick broth. That's the signature that represents Okdongsik but that signature is completely missing from this Bayside branch. Further I ordered kimchi mandoo which supposed to be 4 pcs but when I got home and opened the packaging there were only 2 pcs. The filling of mandoo is so artificial and fake too there's no authenticity about their food at all. Sad that this restaurant specializes in pork soup and their menu only consists of soup and mandoo but none of it is reaching even their standard. Their prices are not cheap either. NYC branch of Okdongsik is not too great either but at least they're ok. Sorry but I don't have any positive things to say about Bayside branch. I know they' just opened and maybe they're still trying to settle in but either way very disappointed.

Yelp
Got recommended here from their Manhattan location, everything feels clean and modern. Prompt service. The broth was really clean and clear, but also flavorful. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Really great! Perfect broth/rice combination. Sauce for the pork is spicy and delicious. Kimchi Mandu and Hamulwanja equally delicious. Friendly staff, quick service, and the space is beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommend.
