"Okeechobee Prime Barbecue, an extension of the Okeechobee Steakhouse, pops up across the street from the steakhouse on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The go-to order is a brisket sandwich—whether sliced or chopped—with coleslaw and mac and cheese on the side. During the busy season, a line is likely, but with a legacy dating back to 1947, they usually have enough for everyone." - J. Miller

Was in the neighborhood getting an oil change. Stumbled upon this awesome place. Only tried a couple of samples but boy were they delicious. Alex, let me try a sample of brisket and pork belly. The brisket was super tender and didn't fall apart. The pork belly was a little crispy and candied on the outside and oh so moist n juicy on the inside. Alex and Luis were working the food truck. Super friendly guys. They have a few tables and chairs to sit after you grab your barbecue. Outdoor seating only. Only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. This is not a paid endorsement, I promise

We ordered the Jalapeño Cheddar sausages, Smoked Pork Belly Burnt Ends, and the Smoked mac and cheese. All were cooked perfectly and delicious. I can get over the mac and cheese!

Probably the best bbq in South Florida. The burnt ends and sausage were excellent. The beef ribs, which they don’t have every weekend, were outstanding. The baby back ribs were a little dry. Quite expensive but worth it.

Was just there for their weekend BBQ truck. Ordered the Angus Burger and Smoked Mac and Cheese.....AMAZING. Burger was juicy and smoky, Mac was cheesy and full of bacon and jalapeños and smoke. I didn't get the guy's name who took my order, but great customer service......and thanks for the hookup!! Next time, I'm checking out the Butcher Shop.

My husband and I both agree this place not for us . We ordered the Turkey which was very moist and not too smokey but sliced thick. The brisket tasted just like pastrami. If I wanted pastrami I would go to Ben's. Now my husband liked that about the brisket but sliced too thick. Mac and cheese was nothing special. Look je I said not for us but maybe for you.

We were up in the area and I've wanted to try the BBQ as I smoke a lot of my own meats. I ordered the brisket sandwich with smoked mac and cheese. My wife ordered 1/2 lb of pulled pork and 1/4 lb of the brisket. We both thought our meals were good. Meat was tender and moist. I got a order of ribs to have for dinner. Not impressed at all. They were way to smoky. Tasted like cigarettes. Half rack for $17. I can't even get the smell off my hands. Even tried bleach. Still smell like cigarettes. Threw half away.
