I have been here a few times and each time someone different gave me a massage. They were all amazing and I left feeling a lot better! The last time I couldn’t walk and after two sessions I’m practically back to normal. Like I said everyone gave great massages but Michael is definitely the Master. Will definitely be coming back on a regular bases!

I had a great experience at Okuyama bodywork today. Highly recommend this place. Simple yet Warm Decoration When I went into the room, I was amazed of how spacious and clean it was compared with the other places I have been to before. I like the way the towels properly folded and that the light was not too bright nor too dark. The smells from the cute aroma diffuser made me feel very relaxed, physically and mentally. There is also body massage oil available if you like to use (I chose lavender! It smells nice and feels great!) Professional & Trust worthy Massager I had problem in sleeping and my back hurt for a couple of weeks. Micheal diagnosed my situation and quickly found the knots on my back and shoulders. His hand pressure is just perfect, making me feel like right to the point. The special technique Called “acupressure“, a technique from Japan, is beyond amazing. He used this technique, because I specially asked for a solution on the soreness on my legs after exercises. My legs and feet feel so greatly revived after. He also stood on my back at the end, the little deep breaths I had one after another made me feel totally rejuvenated. I had been to so many other massage places in Manhattan. Michael is the best! If you like any kind of massages, especially deep tissue massage, you don’t want to miss this place!

Went with a friend to get massages. Made an appointment and arrived on time for our 90 min. Massages were good, staff was accommodating to have us in the same room. The big turnoff for me was that my friends therapist left the room 6 times to answer the phone. 6 times! That was annoying

Wow. What an amazing massage. Everyone was very friendly and they took us with no appointment. Michael did my 60 min deep tissue. I feel so much better after he really got my knots out. Great prices. Not a spa like a atmosphere but amazing people, best massage and awesome prices. Will definitely return.

Today I received the BEST massage I have ever gotten at Okuyama Spa from Michael. Michael asked me where I was painful and where I wanted to focus on and for the entire massage, he used a lot of pressure on my neck and back. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a no-frills, DEEP tissue/pressure massage that focuses on all their knots. I think in the city it's easy to feel that may be another massage place that's better, but I think this place is a true gem. Can't recommend highly enough.

I love getting massages, and I'm really picky about them. I personally don't prioritize ambiance; I care about the massage itself. No exaggeration, I only come here! They go hard on my neck and shoulders (in the best way), and I always feel like a new person afterward.

Went in for neck and shoulder stress and tension and got to experience the talent of Mei.. she really hit all the spots that needed to be hit and even notice my sinuses were stuffed and worked in some acupressure massage for some relief of those. Today is the first time in over a year that I woke up with clear sinuses.. and my shoulders are no longer curving forward. Highly recommend this place
