Old Cutler Inn

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. We had the pasta, conch fritters, Cobb salad, and Mac and cheese. All the food was great and service was prompt. Love the patio and bar area. Cocktails were also good as was the wine selection. We will be visiting again and hope they consider adding a weekend brunch.

I visited Old Cutler Inn for brunch and this was my first time visiting it. The brunch is priced $50 p/p and you have the option to add unlimited mimosas or bellinis for $25 per adult. Food was good, but I wish they had more variety to choose from. Their buffet area is kind of small and they also have a menu to order some items á la carte. Service needs some improvement. I will go back in the future to give them another chance.

We had high expectations for Old Cutler Inn. The place is charming, small but cozy inside. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match our expectations. The food was just average, not bad but nothing memorable. The real issue was the extremely slow service. It took over 40 minutes to receive a simple bowl during a Sunday lunch at noon, and the restaurant wasn’t even full. I shared my disappointment with the waiter and the manager applied a discount, which was appreciated, but never came to the table to apologize or acknowledge the delay. They definitely need to improve their systems and service. Overall, there wasn’t anything compelling enough, food or service, to make us want to return. The discount was a nice gesture, but we weren’t there for a bargain; we were hoping for a pleasant Sunday lunch.

We didn’t have a reservation, but the host was able to seat us quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. It took about 10 minutes for our waiter to greet us, and another 10 minutes just to get water and place our drink order. The kitchen seemed to be experiencing delays or issues—our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was underwhelming. The Korean BBQ short rib was a generous portion, but it was very dry. The pork schnitzel, on the other hand, was decent. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, and it looked like they had a full staff, yet the service was incredibly slow. Throughout the meal, no one checked on us for additional drinks or water, which made the experience even more frustrating. Even had to wait a long time to get the check and pay when there were only a handful of tables left. Would definitely not recommend…

Kevin was our server and he was super friendly. The bartenders made some fantastic cocktails, my favorite was the guava margarita. All the food came out delicious, between my friends and I we tried 8 different plates and nothing disappointed. I’m so excited this place opened up down the street from my house.

Hesitant going due to dinner Google reviews & other reviews from family & friends. However, we decided to go for a weekday breakfast. We ordered at the window and sat outside while waiting for our coffee, smoothie, and meal. Food and beverages were delicious. Everything was fairly priced and GREAT! Will definitely be back! May give dinner a shot.

My family and I are really excited for this local restaurant that just opened up in Palmetto Bay. Our waitress Maria was exceptional and one of the owners even stopped by our table to thank us and to make sure everything was perfect. The decor is beautiful and creates a feel good dinner Feng Shui. My daughter wanted a cocktail drink that was not in the menu and they were more than willing to accommodate us. We sent our compliments to the chef since the taste was exquisite and the food quality was superb. The price is a bit on the high side, but we'll deserved. We will definitely return and we might even make this our new spot. GREAT JOB GUYS

Our food was great ! Atmosphere was amazing but our service was subpar, our male server with glasses was not attentive nor helpful and gave us misinformation about the Brunch menu. I wish I could give a 5 star review but this service was not worth the $45 per person for breakfast. I will try again but not worth it at all.

I I honestly don't understand all the 2-star reviews. This was my second visit, and once again I was impressed with both the drinks and the food. Our server, Anthony, was excellent--very attentive and full of great recommendations. The bartender was also outstanding; we asked for a drink that wasn't on the menu, and it absolutely did not disappoint. We started with the tuna tartare, which was delicious and paired perfectly with the crispy tostones. For the main course, we had the NY strip steak special, cooked exactly as ordered and perfectly seasoned, served with mashed potatoes (so good!) and garlicky spinach. We ended the night with a warm cookie baked in a skillet topped with a scoop of ice cream--an amazing finish to a great meal. We'll definitely be back!

Went here a few weeks ago and have been hesitant to post a review. I really really wanted this place to be great, but unfortunately it seems like they are scared of seasoning and salt in their kitchen. Everything we ordered had Little to no flavor. The meatballs came out lukewarm & were bland. The Fish dip was ok. Caesar salad came out warm and was also bland and needed to ask for more dressing. The Brussel sprouts had like 5 brussels on the plate, & the Mac and cheese was decent, just definitely needed more salt. On top of that our server was not the best. At one point, someone in my party got a splinter in their mouth from the toothpick placed in meatballs. We told our server, she apologized and moved on. Which is no biggie because we told her everything was OK and just wanted to let her know so she could notify her team. she forgot a beer that was ordered. And when we received our entrées, someone in our party, got their sandwich with the bread burnt, and it seems like the kitchen was trying to hide it by putting the burnt part on the inside of the sandwich. Of course you still taste the burnt bread. When we told our server about this issue, she apologized, took the plate and didn't even offer an alternative.... I am still surprised that we did not have a manager come by our table after the experience that we had. So I'm posting this review not to trash the place, but to hope it is taken constructively. .

It's nice to have a place to eat close to home. After being open for a few months, we decided to give OCI a try. We were seated promptly by our hostess, however, we waited well over 10 minutes to be approached by anyone in staff. In fact, I had to walk to the hostess and tell her of our wait time. We ordered fish dip for starters. It tasted nothing like fish. In fact, the nearby Hole In The Wall has a better tasting dip. A hamburger and braised beef were ordered for dinner. We received the burger, but instead, were served ribs instead of the beef. My wife finished her burger by the time my plate arrived. Sadly, it did not meet expectations. To our surprise, a couple next to us received a similar experience and were given the wrong drink they had asked for. The least we could have been offered was to comp my plate as I had to patiently wait and our server made an error. I have to admit, the fries were the best part of our dining experience even when they were not part of my plate. But even then, we had to ask for ketchup as it was never offered. For the prices in their menu, I was hoping for a better experience. I wish nothing but success to this locale, but service and promptness and food quality needs major improvement.

We stood at the hostess stand for probably more than 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. Another guest walked in to inquire about parking, because the valet was telling them if they parked on the grass they would get a ticket. This is not true. We were seated and our server promptly came to the table to take our drink orders. But, after delivering them it took a while for her to come back for the food order. Our food order consisted of a wedge salad, which was on the small side, but good especially the miso glazed bacon. The onion soup had a nice layer of cheese and the soup on top was hot, but if you took soup from the bottom it was only warm. The French dip sandwich looked promising, but my first bite was all fat. I will say there were several more bites of all fat. The other thing that surprised me was that for the price it did not come with anything. So we order the $8.00 fries. They were good but not worth it. This makes us sad as we were hoping for a good local spot.

We came here for lunch and loved it. Took our laptops and sat outside with a nice breeze and vibe. Service was great, owner came around often, and the food came out right on time. Food was delicious and great portions! Loved the br area and the bartender made some amazing drinks. Ask for a skinny marg! Will be back.

This is a solid choice for cocktails, with options to be seated on the porch in cooler weather or inside when it's hot. All cocktails we tried were top-notch, including the Fresh Breeze, Love Letter, and White Pearl. Unfortunately, the food did not measure up. The tuna tartare was creative, with eggplant, avocado yuzu, mojo rojo, and tostones, but the Parker House rolls fell short, the spicy vodka lumache was bland, the sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna lacked pizzaz, and the pork schnitzel was pedestrian. The only standout was the fork-and-knife wedge, an updated classic featuring iceberg lettuce, cherry tomato, candied miso bacon, pickled red onion, and blue cheese dressing. Make reservations, and come early to avoid a wait and having to pay for valet parking.

This place is so nice. Good location, we needed something in the area. My drink was pretty and so good. I ordered a salad and I was underwhelmed. It wasn't bad it was just basic. I would give this place another chance, I have high hopes.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I've had three friends who visited and none of them liked it. Not a good sign, but I like to try things for myself. I came here with my daughter on a Monday evening at 6pm. They were already booked. The dining room is very small. The restaurant looks bigger from the outside than it is inside. There were two seats at the bar though, so we sat there. The bartender was very nice and friendly. We shared a White Pearl drink. It was very good. It usually comes with truffle in it, but the bartender asked if we wanted to add it and we decided to try the drink without it. It was pretty strong so kudos to the bartender. For dinner we shared the 6 oysters. I ordered the BBQ wings. It comes with 6 wings to an order. My daughter ordered the spicy vodka Lumanche. The oysters were great! My wings were delicious! The pasta however was not good. It was VERY bland. They really need to adjust their sauce. It tasted like nothing (but a little spicy). There was no salt and no acidity to it. We asked the bartender for some salt and added it, but it really didn't make any difference. It was a pretty good size order and my daughter took home her leftovers. We ran into a friend there and went to say hi. She said, "This place sucks!" I really want this place to succeed, but they HAVE to get the food together! People don't want to pay $30 for pasta that doesn't have any flavor, after paying $10 to park there. Our bill was $100 after tip. They need to either lower their prices or make the food worth the cost. Otherwise they will never have any return business. Once everyone has tried it, they'll be the last time they come. Fire your chef and get the food where it needs to be if you don't want to go out of business.

We walked in with a 7pm reservation, we arrived a little early so we were seated on time. However, come 7:35 we still don't have anyone come to the table to greet us or even offer us water. We went for my brother's birthday and around 7:45 he went in to speak to the hostess, some minutes later the server arrived. He took our drink order and appetizers. My sparkling water and my dad's beer took forever to come out and then the server finally took our food order. Around 20 minutes after the food order was placed, he comes out to let me know that they don't have my order, the Spicy Vodka pasta at the moment. At this time, I'm upset because I am notified when everyone else is close to receiving their food. He tells me that the manager will come out to speak with me. The manager comes out some minutes later, and he does not apologize for the delay any of us have gone through and just asks me what I want instead. I'm a vegetarian and the options are extremely limited, by this point I'm not even hungry anymore but I order the flatbread anyways in case I'm hungry when it comes out. When the entrees for everyone else come out, they're cold. I ordered the chili crunch broccolini and as you can see by the picture there was no chili crunch only sea salt on them, and super cold, definitely not worth the $8 price tag as they had no flavor. The lasagna (both orders) were super cold, my brother said that it was okay. My sister in law stated that the steak wasn't that great and it was also cold. The flatbread was comped which was nice, but after waiting that long, no apologies and getting all the entrees cold, I would have expected a little more. The best part of the meal was the bread rolls, which you also have to pay for. After looking forward to this restaurant opening, it was extremely disappointing from the food to the service from the server AND the manager. I was expecting a lot more.

I've been excited for this restaurant to open, and just went for the first time. It did not disappoint! We arrived right on time for our reservation and we were seated right away, even though it was otherwise packed. I loved the decor and ambiance. The food was great! We started with the fish dip which was smoky and fresh. I had the flatiron steak frites which was perfectly cooked, and had a yummy sauce. Hubby got the schnitzel which was humongous and tasted great. My FIL loved his French onion soup and prime rib French dip. Kiddo got the smashie burger, but with all the fixings on the side and devoured it. We finished the meal off with the chocolate cake... So good, there wasn't a crumb left! Oh and my passion fruit cocktail was delicious, too. One thing to note is that the parking lot is small. The valet had us do a quick loop around the lot to see if there were any free spots. There weren't, so we ended up valeting. You can request your car electronically, which we did when paying the bill, so our car was waiting for us when we walked out. Very convenient. Will definitely be back!

No parking No parking No parking. Valet is a poop show! Don't go!!!! Drinks are no less than $16 each. Good luck parking and getting out of that lot. No really - you'll see.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! The service was fantastic! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us pick out the perfect wine to pair with our meal - the Lamb Lasagna with truffle is to die for and the Filet Mignon was on point! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Old Cutler Inn and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local spot.

Waited until this place calmed down and I really should have just ignored this place. Parking is little to none so make a reservation early if you plan on going. Service was fairly slow and the food was so salty I couldn't eat much. Baby back ribs, meh and fries were the saltiest I have ever had. Caesar salad...no dressing and cannot believe the price. Menu is so small and has very specific options. Pricing...there is no way you are charging like you are in Coral Gables and in Palmetto Bay. Unfortunately this place will stick around because there is nothing else like it down in the area and Palmetto Bay/Cutler Bay doesn't really have any options for how many people have moved to the area. Save your $$ and Go to Alaine's across Old Cutler.

Strike Two! Second visit, and just as disappointed with the food as we were on our first time dining here. But let me start on a few positive notes. The $22 Old Fashion cocktail was really well made. We were seated without a wait; our waiter was responsive, polite and attentive; the ambiance was comfortable and the valet parking was flawless. There were four adults in our party, all who regularly dine out a couple of times a week at restaurants from Palmetto Bay (where we live) to Wynwood, the Design District, Coral Gables and everywhere between. We enjoy a good "eating" experiences and make no judgements how a restaurant prices their products. If it is good to great food we are happy customers! The food at Old Cutler Inn is disappointing, and maybe that's an understatement. We started with the ladies sharing a Lettuce Wedge ("Fork and Knife Wedge"). The portion size was large, but they offered a little thimble of blue cheese dressing (we had to ask for 3 more thimbles). It was accompanied by a few quarters of tomatoes, and a few 1" squares of slab bacon on the plate's edge. This bacon would be better served with a full American breakfast. One lady commented that she required a steak knife to cut the lettuce. That was a first. The men shared the Yellowfin Tuna Tartar, which was plated and presented well. However, not one of us could taste the tuna. This dish was so complex with an eggplant, avocado-Yukon, mojo Rojo toston spicy sauce; which we described as a mix of undefinable "bits" that overpowered the food. Suffice it to say none of us finished our appetizers. For the next course I ordered the Swordfish Steak. Outstanding! It was accompanied by a little too much butterscotch, lemon-caper sauce with baby spinach, roasted roots? and carrot slices. Worth having again. Recently added to the menu were a 1/2 slab of fall-off-the-bone BBQ ribs. It was nice. One of the ladies ordered the Waygu Meatball Sliders with pomodoro, mozzarella, garlic Rolls. The rolls were delicious. The meatballs (one small one per roll) were not tasteless, but bland and the size of the rolls consumed the plate. The last plate was a fried shrimp appetizer containing about 4 rock hard shrimp Only two were eaten. We passed on having dessert. As this was our 2nd disappointing visit to this new local restaurant - our first a few months ago - I would not recommend it. There are just too many local restaurants that offer a variety of consistently good dining experiences. We were truly hoping that our first disappointing experience to The Old Cutler Inn was due to it being new and finding its culinary footing. Sadly that isn't the case.

Tried this new restaurant and it was amazing! Although it was pretty busy when we went, our service was still really good and our server was helpful with recommendations. The French onion soup was so delicious, probably my new favorite! I also got their spicy vodka pasta and it was delicious but definitely spicy! To finish off we tried their Key lime pie and it was so good! Much thicker than a traditional key lime but wow it was amazing and I loved the crust! Will definitely come back!!!

Nope! I have tried this several times and it has not improved. I wish them the best. The food is not appealing. Waiters hanging at bar, yawning and on their phones

The location and décor are very nice, and the cocktails were excellent. Unfortunately, the food was average for the price point, and the service was below average. We frequently had to track down our server just to get water or basic assistance. Food: The much-hyped Parker House rolls were disappointing--room temperature (or cooler) in the center and dry. The fried calamari was good and freshly fried. The remoulade had nice flavor, but it was too thick, causing the batter to fall apart when dipped. Entrees: The smoked ribs were decent, but the tamarind sauce completely overpowered the meat and was overly bitter. They're also trimmed with a large portion of loin attached, so they don't pull apart like traditional baby back ribs. If you're expecting classic BBQ ribs, these are not it. The half chicken was the standout--juicy, flavorful, and well prepared. The steak frites had potential, but the doneness was off. Steaks ordered medium arrived closer to medium-rare, and the medium-rare was undercooked in spots. We would have sent them back, but the wait was already long. The frites themselves were quite good. Dessert: Dessert options were very limited for anyone with a nut allergy. According to the server, even the key lime pie contains nuts, leaving vanilla ice cream as the only option. After spending over $200 before gratuity, this was disappointing. This restaurant could be excellent, but both the kitchen and service need significant improvement. Without that, it's hard to see it sustaining long-term.

We visited Old Cutler Inn for a Friday night date around 7:45 PM. The waitlist was packed (apparently 150 ahead of us), so we left our name and were told we'd receive a text when a table became available. Thankfully while we went to order a drink at the bar 5 minutes later, we spotted an open table outside in front of the bar - which was first-come, first-serve - and grabbed it. I'm glad we did because our text for a table didn't arrive until 3 hours later when we were already home. We started off with the ceviche, bread rolls, and fish dip and all delicious but the ceviche and bread rolls were the real standouts. My husband enjoyed smoked Old Fashion while I sipped on the Versailles cocktail which was sweet, yet fantastic. For the mains we both went with smash burgers. They were juicy, flavorful, and paired with a great sauce (similar to Big Mac sauce). The only drawback was the burger bread because it was too thick and dry. A brioche bun would have been a much better fit. Service from the bar was excellent. I didn't catch our bartender's name, but she was attentive, kind, and anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Although we really enjoyed a Old Cutler Inn, it has its downsides. We found the menu to be on the pricey side. With burgers, apps, and drinks, our tab came to $250, which feels steep. Also worth noting is that there's no kids menu. While families can order flatbreads or burgers for little ones, dedicated kid-friendly options aren't available. Overall, Old Cutler Inn delivered a fun date night with some yummy bites and drinks, but it's definitely more of a splurge spot than a casual dinner go-to. We would absolutely go back but next time, we'll definitely be making a reservation.

We heard this restaurant opened recently and wanted to check it out. We stopped in during the day and had such a lovely experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and filled with natural light, making it a really pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the lamb lasagna and the burrata, which were both full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Anthony, our waiter, was wonderful. He was kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we sat down. We will definitely return to Old Cutler Inn.

Everything about OCI is spectacular. Local Upper scale Restaurant and Bar. Drinks were amazing. Outdoor seating was very nice . Service best I've seen .

Went there during the week for an anniversary dinner and loved the experience. Had a great service with our server by the name Anthony. Enjoyed the smash burgers and the blonde skillet for dessert. The restaurant is so cute and had a great service. Would go back again

We have been waiting a long time for this place to open and we were not disappointed! I was happy that they were busy for a Wednesday night, people seemed to enjoy that this is nicer than the typical Palmetto Bay "dive bar" type of place. We sat outside on a humid evening but there was coverage and plenty of fans so it wasn't bad at all. Reservations are helpful. The location itself is small with limited parking so valet is required, FYI. Was convenient and smooth operations but it is $10. The service was great, and the waitress made a great wine recommendation. American foods mostly with some south Florida twists. We were happy with our guava wings, burgers, and chicken. Topped it off with delicious key lime pie and some cocktails. Will be going back!

Two drinks and an appetizer later...one hour.. our entrees never arrived. Server was apologetic, but we are still hungry. The manager never even came by to reconcile the issue. We live nearby but this is an easy drive on by! Headed to Rodbender to grab some food!

Lousy food served cold by untrained waitstaff at exorbitant prices. Don't waste money here. Everything we ordered was overpriced, overcooked, and unseasoned.

Our family has dined at the Old Cutler Inn three times since they opened. Twice for dinner and once for brunch. While the the servers were professional and attentive, the food was just not worth the price. Stay away from the chicken (delivered to the table raw), steak (poor quality), and French Dip (the meat was gray). The blackened shrimp cobb salad and conch fritters were both fine. We will not be back a fourth time, which is so sad as we really wanted to like this place.

This is such a well-located restaurant for us, but the truth is, we are just not sure about this place. We ordered the Korean short rib, which we had seen in prior reviews was massive and we'd been told it was big enough to feed two people. And for $65, that made sense. But ours was an average sized restaurant portion. The size definitely much smaller than the picture we saw from prior patrons. And mostly bone and fat. For me, it was big enough to split (I only ever eat half of my dish anyway), but my husband came home and ate more. And it was good but definitely not $65-good. I would definitely not recommend that. $8 for bread rolls? Come on, guys. Just... no. No kids menu, so our kids got a plain flat bread, no toppings. This is definitely not a kid-friendly place which is crazy considering it's in a family neighborhood. I hope they work on this. I will say all the cocktails I've tried have been great, but my husband was disappointed with the beer selection. The chocolate cake was not good. The skillet cookie was amazing. In short, we'd like to give this place another shot but we are not in a rush to rerun. I hope they can improve. We really do want to love this place.

This new restaurant is exactly what the area needs. Service was awesome, aesthetic was cute, and the drinks were really really good!! The menu was limited when it came to entrees -- a BUNCH of yummy looking salad options and appetizers compared to a normal $$$ restaurant though. Not an everyday family restaurant, but also not a super super fancy place where you can't wear jeans.

Saturday December 20 my wife and I with another couple experienced a shameful and embarrassing experience. We had a reservation for 5PM after arriving we were seated inside at a table facing the kitchen door . So far so good we started with cocktails then appetizers, dinner with a bottle of wine with dinner then dessert and more wine . Service was slow but overal but acceptable as we were injoying the evening. We were finishing up when a young man apparently the manager came over and asked us to leave as he wanted the table. Unbelievable my wife and the other couple became incensed and informed the manager that You Never ask a customer to leave. Both my wife and her friend both gave the very young manager a up and down regarding that you never ask someone to leave especially since the primary reason we were still there was as a result of the slow service. Stephanie our server seemed stressed as it appeared that the restaurant may have been short staffed. Please note that dinner for four was over $500 . Both my wife and her friends have no intentions of going back. It's unfortunate ,management has a lot to learn about customer service.

Great neighborhood restaurant! Good cocktails and food. Bar is a bit small but worth waiting for a spot!

I was scorted out by the manager. He told I needed to go on line to a website that he couldn't remember the name and make on line reservations. It happened as the restaurant was full of customers. Shameful

Okay third time is a charm. My daughter was in town from college and wanted to try it, so we gave it another chance. Really glad we did. Had a reservation and was seated promptly. Water cae quick and we ordered drinks. Espresso martini was on point, as before. Ordered a variety of apps- the shallot butter bread was excellent this time around, not dry and crusty like before. The wagyu meatball sliders were incredible. Then tried the conch fritters and dare I say it? Best I've ever had. A little sweet, great texture, warm and soft inside. Very flavorful. My son and I both ordered the short rib flatbread, and it was delicious. My daughter had the hit honey pepperoni flatbread, again very good. My other son ordered a smashburger with friend egg and loved it. My wife had French onion soup that she loved and a wedge salad with super thick chunks of bacon. Then one son had the bread pudding for dessert, the other a brownie Sunday. Both delicious. Server was about a 9/10, just a little slow on the drinks. I love that they have cold Guinness draft, though. All in all I'm very happy that this place seemingly got it together. 5 stars!!!!

Service and food was under par. Didn't see a waiter for over 10 mins after sitting down. With their pricing they appear to be act like a med-high scale restaurant but are anything but. They won't go out of business because they are the only game in town. If they were in South Miami or Gables they would have had to shut their doors already. It appears at teenagers are running the place. So disappointing

Most of my review history is not critical and gives rave reviews... but not this place. I even gave it two tries. Clearly the 5 star reviews are friends & family trying to help. My family has been there twice now since it is down the block. Food not good for the price whatsoever and service mediocre at best. This is in a family neighborhood with many kids at the restaraunt yet they charged us $28 for the kids small bowl of boiled pasta with cheese. We waited for server many times with many delays on both visits. The French Dip sandwich tasted like 1 week old meat, little meat and the Ah Jus sauce tasted like brown water with zero flavor. The Cobb salad had old yellowing lettuce and the mushroom side dish was awful. The short rib was good but 90% of what we ordered was downright terrible and cold.

My overall rating of Old Cutler Inn is a solid 3/5. This is taking into account that the restaurant recently opened up so I'm sure they are working things out. The service was great but the food was a little pricey. We started with wine and an Espresso Martini which came quickly and tasted great. We had the bread and calamari to start and that too was great. Where we were disappointed was the Korean BBQ Shortrib and the Pork Schnitzel. They both tasted extremely bland and lacked flavor. They were cooked well but it just needed more seasoning. The key lime pie was great but the chocolate case was underwhelming. Overall I would recommend trying this place out since it's new but go in with managed expectations.

Been hearing a lot of this place. Usually don't pay much attention to reviews until I've been there to review it myself, I couldn't agree more with what others thought. Parking is awful with a $10 valet option(no parking spots). Drinks were great, we had the Summer Breeze and Espresso Martini. The food is alright they don't have a big menu and they were "out of a few things" we started with the Garlic Rolls which were good, they recommended the Tuna Tartare which lacked flavor not impressed. We also had the flatbread(highlight of the night) and the smash burger which was fine, overall I would go back for Drinks and Flatbread.

Ariana, the host greeted me at the door, walking me to the bar. Where I had The swordfish couldn't finish. Had to save room for the chocolate cake. The staff was very friendly. My bartender was professional. I think there was 2 of them. also, there was also a guy in training They all treated me real nice. The manager came over and introduced himself to me. It's a little far from my home, but I'll come back for a special occasion.

I had dinner here for the first time last night with family. My nieces and I arrived a little early so had drinks at the very well stocked bar. The bartender was super friendly and nice and made a fantastic classic Mojito. The layout inside is very chic and the booths are very comfortable. We all ordered something different and I must say my lamb lasagna was outstanding. The ceviche app was delicious as was the shrimp cocktail. The portions were large enough that we all had leftovers. Parking is very limited although I was able to snag one of just two open spaces; they do provide valet parking for a fee.

Maybe ordering pasta was a mistake. I ordered the spicy vodka lumanche pasta dish. I'm not a huge fish eater and was not in the mood for anything else. I was Very disappointed. It was not spicy at all and was dry. I added chicken which was chewy and tasted like it was old. This dish should really come off their menu or added only to a kids menu. My husband swordfish was thin and over cooked. I like the ambiance and I do like the drink menu options, but I would hope to at $16 a drink if with mostly ice. Maybe they need more time to iron out any kinks? I hope this place will get better. I will go back if only for a drink at happy hour as it's down the street from home. But not sure I'll eat there again unless I hear better reviews.

10/10 food and drinks!!! Service was good and they had a lot of new hires which is nice to give people a chance to become waitress or waiters! The atmosphere was nice and kind of an earls vibe in culter bay! A little hidden jem for a local date night or girls outting.

This was our second visit, with the first being during the restaurant's opening week. At that time, it was very busy, yet the service was attentive and surprisingly quick. On this most recent visit, the restaurant was not busy and several tables were empty. While the service was friendly, it was noticeably slow--especially when we waited over 25 minutes for a Key Lime Pie which never got. We canceled the order after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for dessert. The manager came to our table to apologize after our waiter's updates on time came and went. The manager explained that there was nothing that could be done to speed things up since orders are processed strictly in the order they come in - absurd for a slice of pie. We do appreciate having this restaurant nearby, but very unlikely we'll return for dinner. Maybe for a drink at the outside bar.

Old Cutler Inn is a new addition to the area, and my family and I were genuinely excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We had reservations, but upon arrival the hostess was mid-conversation with someone, leaving us awkwardly standing there until she wrapped up. Once she finished, she seated us right away, but it took about 15 minutes before our waitress even approached the table to take drink orders. Sensing that service might be slow overall, we decided to place our entire order at once. For drinks, we tried the homemade lemonade, which was actually very good. As starters, we ordered the yellowfin tuna tartare with tostones. The tuna didn't taste as fresh as we had hoped, but the overall flavor profile was thoughtfully crafted, with components that complemented each other nicely. We also had the house rolls--an absolute must, though they would've been even better served warmer. Out of curiosity, we tried the French onion soup, but it was completely lacking in flavor. From our seats we had a clear view of the kitchen and noticed multiple dishes sitting out, ready, but not being taken to tables. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, so it was unclear why food wasn't moving more quickly. For our mains, everyone except me ordered a burger. Unfortunately, the general consensus was that there was far more bread than actual burger, though the wedge fries were a highlight. I ordered the steak frites, and the presentation alone was a letdown - a whole, uncut piece of steak placed directly on the plate with no care in plating. For nearly $45, it was extremely underwhelming. I added a side of mac and cheese, which was flavorless and in desperate need of seasoning. Service throughout the meal was inconsistent. Our waitress rarely checked in, and the very small water cups meant constant refills - but no one seemed to notice when we needed them. Another concern was the food prepper, who wore gloves but used them to touch everything - screens, surfaces, even shaking someone's hand without ever changing them. By the end, we didn't stay for dessert. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

I'm a big lasagna guy and let me tell you, best one ever had. More of an entree filled with lamb not so much of a cheap cheesy one that most other places serve. Big fan of the new spot. Glad it's here nearby.

Over priced, poor food, nosey. Other wise it was terrible. We went out for a romantic dinner and had nosey over priced meal. They even charge for the birthday cake. We'll never go back. Wayne

Great Location. Pretty Decor. Below average food and the service is spotty. I want to like this place because of the location and they have a chance to be great, but the quality of the food is ehhh.

Old Cutler Inn is a fresh addition to the Cutler Bay area, giving locals something they've been craving: craft drinks and inventive cocktails. Since it's a new spot, I'm willing to give it another shot as they're probably still finding their rhythm. We couldn't snag a reservation but got lucky with bar seating. Our bartender was fantastic, and the cocktails were on point. You can tell the owners poured a lot of heart into the place, and aesthetically, it's very pleasant. That said, the food and overall service could use some improvement. Most of our dishes arrived at room temperature. We were excited about the bread section, but the rolls needed more butter to truly shine. The French onion soup, however, was excellent! Oysters were slightly shelly but still enjoyable. We ordered the steak and frites medium rare, but it came out extremely rare. I had to send it back--my first time doing so--and was surprised when they recooked the same steak, leaving the fries cold. We also had a minor hiccup with clearing our plates, which felt a bit awkward. Desserts were just okay, and the espresso martini didn't hit the mark (I don't think they used real coffee), but the White Pearl cocktail was phenomenal. Overall, I'd give Old Cutler Inn a second chance. If you're considering visiting, give them a little time to iron out the kinks. For cocktails and small bites, I'm definitely coming back.

Everything about our experience was fantastic!! Yummy food and drinks, comfortable seating. We sat outside under a covered terrace and the fans were going so it felt totally fine even in the Miami summer.

So sorry Old Cutler Inn. I really wanted to love you as our new favorite restaurant. Sadly we will not be returning. You need: Valet parking! There is no place to park. Neighbors must be going crazy with cars on their lawns. Larger drinks! My White Pearl was gone in a few sips. Better acoustics: It was impossible to hear inside. Too many voices and music drowned out everything. Better food: The lasagne was dry and mostly lamb. Where was the pasta? Lower prices: yikes! That's all I can say. The view: I was looking at the Mobile Station and the Shell Station. At least lower the shades. Bugs! We were seated outside. I was bitten by tiny itching bugs all over my feet and legs. Add screens? If you go, don't wear a dress and sandals like I did. Please do better for all those who live in your area.

Limited parking, small, crowded and noisy indoor seating. Slow service. My lasagna was terrible.. dry, almost no pasta. Unrecognizable as lasagna. Outdoor seating was ok but noisy traffic and no views. Won't be coming back, unfortunately.
