The 5 Best Things To Eat At State Farm Arena - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Fries | Old Lady Gang & Zac Brown's Social Club Don’t get us wrong, we’ll polish off a basket of frozen french fries anytime. But hand cut fries will always be in our starting line up. And the fresh, thinly cut fries from the Old Lady Gang and Zac Brown stalls are our favorite fries in the stadium. They’re good on their own, so you don’t even have to wait in the line for ketchup and risk missing that play that’ll be all over SportsCenter tomorrow." - nina reeder, juli horsford

Old Lady Gang Review - Castleberry Hill - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"When we want to pretend that we’re actually part of Mama Joyce, Aunt Nora, and Aunt Bertha’s fam, we head to Old Lady Gang. We can’t help but feel like kinfolk when a plate of juicy baked chicken doused in a thick brown gravy hits the table. This Castleberry Hill spot serves up other Southern favorites like hot cornbread topped with brown sugar and shrimp and grits with a vodka sauce that should absolutely be in every dish since it’s that good. While you may not see Kandi, who also owns Blaze, it’s not unusual to see an OLG member patrolling the casual dining room asking how your meal is. Just offer them a playful “bravo,” and then happily go back to eating and humming to the joint’s R&B-heavy playlist." - Juli Horsford

"The second location of Old Lady Gang is found in Camp Creek, just southwest of the city. The space is smaller but maintains the same cool factor as the original. It’s light-filled during the day, making it a perfect brunch destination. If you want to make it a boozy brunch, try the GREY GOOSE Honey Bee cocktail." - Vox Creative

I’ve been three times! I enjoyed it each time! I think some people go to be negative because Kandi owns it. I’m a truth teller not a hater! Some people hate on people. All I have a problem with is the space. The place is small, but my food was good. Lamb chops a little small, but they were delicious. The macaroni and cheese is different but good. I got the same thing each time I went. I was satisfied. I also gave my son a graduation dinner there to be with his friends that couldn’t make his first one at Juicy Crab. I never had a problem! So, maybe I’ve been there 4 times! I love supporting good black businesses.

Ambiance: Bright & airy restaurant with historic Southern charm featuring a bar area and multiple dining tables. I absolutely loved everything about Old Lady Gang! The food was phenomenal. Perfect spot for brunch, grabbing cocktails at the bar, celebrating an occasion, or a dinner date. First time having deep fried deviled eggs - and wow! A must order! Also highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. Their Shrimp & Grits were the best we've ever had. Every dish was full of flavor! Quick and kind service. It did seem like they might get busy on weekends. Easy walk from the Garnett train stop (we're clearly tourists and had an easy enough time figuring it out.) Street parking available. They do not take CashApp or Apple Pay. Decent pricing for the amount of food and for how good/unique it is. I will for sure visit again next time I'm in Atlanta!

First of all I should have left as soon as I read 18% gratitude will be added to the ticket. Needless to say the service was bad...I ordered a sweet tea.. the waiter brought it out with the food. He stated "I thought you wanted it with your food ' How stupid did that sound. He should have just said I am sorry I forgot. The food was good but service is EVERYTHING. I will not return.

Google
We had a great dinner here. The fried deviled eggs were scrumptious. Fried chicken, cabbage, sweet potatoes, and the shrimp and grits were good too. It was not too crowded from the rainy weather so we were seated immediately and service was great.

We went to two different Old Lady Gang Restaurant Locations in Atlanta. At this location we ordered OLG Signature Wings in Hot Sauce, the Taste was Reasonable, our next order was Aunt Bertha’s Fried Chicken this had Flavor, with Collard Greens the taste was okay, and our Mac & Cheese was a Little Dry, but our CornBread was Delicious and Our Drinks was made with Flavored. This Old Lady Gang Restaurant is Located in a more modern Casual Bar Style Restaurant that is Located in a Shopping Center in East Point Atlanta. Staff at this location Customer Service wasn’t the greatest or that attentive. This Restaurant is Located at 3650 Marketplace Blvd # 950, East Point, GA 30344📍 This Location was Clean with Plenty of Parking Space Available.

Google
Love the camp creek area one! The food and service did not disappoint! The margarita flights were a hit as well. Try the fried fish with greens and Mac and cheese 100 stars for that meal!!!

Google
I really wish I could have given this a better rating the food was fabulous. But the service was so slow we almost left. The atmosphere is old and dated. Cheap tables and chairs, torn cushions. Would definitely get some food to go but would not go and sit in. Also be aware they add automatic 18% on bill. So no incentive from wait staff to give you good service. Because u are giving them 18% whether service is good or bad.

Google
My chicken was soft, I asked for well done. I gave it back for corrections and that was the returned product. Very burnt chicken. Already paying 15$ for (4) wings, with a service charge, plus I tipped on top of that 🤦🏽‍♀️ It’s very upsetting

Yelp
Stopped by this restaurant on my last trip to Atlanta. I expected a wait or a line but I was seated quicker without a reservation. The location is small but cozy. The service was okay. Parking available in the parking lot shared with other retail locations. Entree: Fish Dinner - Fried Whiting fish, Mac &cheese and sweet potato soufflé. The fish was seasoned well, the mac & cheese was delicious and the sweet potato soufflé was sweet but a nice treat. I loved the entire meal. 5/5 Tips- show up when they open or make a reservation just to be safe. There is an 18% gratuity charged on all orders.

Yelp
When we first arrived, the staff was quick to greet and seat us, which was helpful following our time crunch. Our food wait was a little lengthy, but nothing some good conversation couldn't solve. The shop was well-cleaned and very pretty, and our server wiped down our table again just for good measure. The chicken and waffles were AMAZING! So, my only complaint would be the wait time, and even that wasn't that bad!

Yelp
Not impressed. Normally, I don't order chicken when eating out and OLG reminded me as to why. So, it's a cute spot, conveniently located in the Camp Creek Marketplace. Security greeting us. No biggie, this is customary in Atlanta. We were seated rather quickly and thankfully because I was hungry. Our waitress was amazing, attentive and personable. I think she may have noticed the discontent on my face and asked if the food was ok. It wasn't... First, the deviled eggs were hard as if they had been sitting out all day. My complaint was the CHICKEN...it's was black. The waitress did her best to reassure me it's the veins typically found in dark meats. That wasn't it. This is low quality / grade meat. Chicken should not be this dark to the bone unless it's old or low grade. Our waiter insisted we speak with the cook but there was no need. The cook is only preparing food that management provides. Ironically...the chicken was seasoned very well and crispy; but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it. Overall, all the food was old, like it sat under a heat lamp for hours. My suggestion: try it during busy times and maybe the food will be fresh.

Yelp
I came out of a visit to BJ's hungry and longing for home cooking. Who feeds the South? "Old Ladies", that's who. Imagine that your granny and her friends opened a soul food joint and then made it sort of trendy with a bar and soft soul music on the radio. The plat I ordered was the fish dinner with a side of grits and collards. I am a collard cooking fool and these measures up. Really good flavor with a tiny hint of sweetness. The fish is cornmeal breaded, just like the ones we have in South Georgia. My server Rann helped me choose this. He is the best, he suggested the grits as a side. The grits btw were perfect creamy corn grits. Not hard or watery, they were perfect. Finally, the corn muffin was great. It was a cross between sweet and plain meal.

Yelp
I came on a Wednesday evening so the restaurant wasn't busy. We were immediately seated and taken care of. We decided on the salmon bites and deviled eggs for appetizers. They were both good. I could have eaten all the deviled eggs by myself. I got the lamb chops and they were well seasoned. One person in my party got the fried fish dinner. She wasn't a fan of it, but I tasted it and enjoyed it. The other person got the shrimp and grits and she loved it. They both decided to get banana pudding, they said it was okay. Our server was very helpful and attentive. She made sure to check on us and refill drinks and cocktails as we needed. She was cool about the way we needed to split our bill and was able to take care of our requests.

Yelp
July 6, 2024 my friends and I enjoyed a delicious meal at OLG. There was a slight wait to get on the waitlist (no reservations allowed) but the wait was only 25 minutes. We ended up sitting at the bar. Autumn was our bar tender and waitress. Our food and drinks came out hot and fast from the bar and everyone enjoyed everything! Support black business and delicious food!

Yelp
We visited this location since parking was impossible at the main location. Not bad at all. Cute decor with lots of tvs to watch the game. They have the perfect strong lemon drop. Food was tasty. Our server was super friendly. The food took a while to prepare but was very tasty. The greens were seasoned perfectly. The only opportunity was we couldn't get a to go cup of water. We were advised the they could only use those cups for kids meals. We were even willing to pay for the cup. I still recommend even if it is only for the greens and lemon drop.

Yelp
I was visiting the Camp Creek area and have heard so many great things about Old Lady Gang. I decided to stop in and grab brunch before heading out to One Music Fest. I was greeted at the door within 5 minutes of me being there and I didn't have a reservation. The bar was open so I decided to eat there with a friend of mine. The wait time for a table was about 25 minutes for 2 people. Our bartender/server was really nice but you could tell that she had a lot of orders plus tables in her area and she was the only one working the area. I ordered the salmon bites as an appetizer which took about 20 mins to come out. Within 10 mins of receiving that, I received my fish and grits. The salmon bites were very seasoned, not too salty and cooked well. The grits for my meal was very runny. There wasn't any firmness to it at all. The fish was very good. The server could have been a bit more attentive but with all of the tables/bar customers it's to be expected: Overall the experience was ok. I'd give it anoth e try but for the dinner menu.

Yelp
Finally got to try the food at Old Lady Gang after a couple of setbacks. Visited the East Point location after being turned off from the original location a year ago by the service (we left after being seated and treated rather rudely). Then awhile later we ordered lunch via a delivery app and it was canceled by the restaurant Happy to report that the servers at East Point were super nice and attentive. Other than two people, we were the only ones there on a Thursday afternoon. The food was good. I had Ace's fried whitefish and grits with black eyed peas and mac n cheese. My business manager had Kandi's baked chicken with cabbage and mac n cheese. I tasted her chicken and it was very well seasoned but waaaay too salty . My fish was expertly cooked (crispy and tasted fresh). The mac n cheese was good. The grits I felt were too cheesy, but I prefer my grits with light salt and butter. The black eyed peas were by far the best thing on the menu. The cornbread was sweet (I don't know if that's a southern thing? I like my cornbread savory, sometimes with jalapeno). We split the fried deviled eggs and they honestly were bursting with flavor and didn't need to be fried or baconed On the day we visited, the rapper Rich Homie Quan had passed away so they were playing his music. It was pretty touching, as I believe one of the servers was a friend of his. R.I.P

Yelp

Yelp
The food was not the problem..The service was HORRIBLE. We ordered deviled eggs with shrimp and got NO shrimp!!! There were only 2 tables to be served when we got there...us and another one. 3 other families came after us, and they ALL were served their food before us!!! The cornbread came after my peas and rice turned COLD!!! And again we were the last to be served cornbread!!! The kicker was this: After the meal I asked for banana pudding and peach cobbler--- there was no more, because the cook THREW it out!!! Apparently they were near closing and getting ready to go home..... The very last thing was I had to get up to pay for the meal and was barely acknowledged!!! All the servers walked all around me as I stood at the counter visibly holding my card. I have family members who live around the corner from this establishment but will go to Peter's Street location because they say their too ghetto. I must agree!!!

Yelp
I have literally been thinking about this meal since I had it like 4 days ago. It took a while to come out but it was completely worth it. I had the salmon plate and my cousin had the rib tips. I've never had green beans that tasted so good and I am a green bean connoisseur lol. Everything was delicious.

Julia K.

Yelp
As a real housewives fan, I was so excited to visit OLG on my trip to Atlanta - and it did not disappoint!!! The food was great, the server was nice, and the ambiance was cute. Not a negative but rather a heads up - food was slower than I would've expected and there is 18% gratuity.... But the fish was nicely seasoned with a light batter and the Mac and cheese was delicious. There was a little corn bread muffin with honey and the collards were perfectly cooked. It was busy with a consistent flow of patrons. My friends got the salmon bites and glazed salmon dinner with smashed potatoes and green beans. We finished everything! Would go again.

Yelp
It was the black eyed peas and deviled eggs for me!!! Now.... When I'm in ATL, I'm surely going to eat good! Didn't know that's this was Kandi's spot. It must have been meant to be since there was no wait time!!! We ate all the things and food swapped. Was so full, we had our dessert to go. (Someone ate mines so when I'm back in the A, I'll have a do-over.

Yelp
Visited this beauty while in Atlanta for a girls weekend!! The atmosphere was very chill. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We waited 15-minutes to seat a table of 10. The waiter was very relaxed and offered a variety of menu and drink selections. We waited 15-minutes for our drinks. Waited another 30-minutes for our food which felt like forever. But when it arrived - we dug in!!! Everything was fantastic!! Some had a small amount for leftovers ...others like me finished it all. Would I return ? Yeah but with a smaller party ! * this restaurant is owned by Kando Burrus' mother!!

Yelp
I enjoyed my experience at the Old Lady Gang. For some reason I thought the restaurant would be somewhat bigger and a little bitch more aesthetically pleasing but the food helped me overlook the lack upscale decor. The music was nice and there were multiple tvs with games/shows to distract you. We had a really good waiter who very attentive to us and made good suggestions. The alcoholic drinks were tasty and whew, you really only need one or two for a good time. The salmon bites came out cold but once we sent them back they tasted much better. Supposedly they make the salmon bites in large quantities at once so make sure you check your bites are fresh. The lamb chops was amazing! No overcooked and the seasoning was on point. The greens were also fresh and tasty.

Yelp
My cousin and I chose this place for dinner on. Friday evening. Something felt automatically off when we walked in and about a dozen debit and credit cards were just on the counter - just easily viewable to whomever. Our waitress gave us great service with a smile and some laughs, but the food was so disappointing it's ridiculous. My collards were sweet...a weird sweet! My mac n cheese had many bits of inedible burnt macaroni pieces and was also a weird sweet. Not very cheesy. Our waitress did offer to replace it, but I was over it. The fish was decent in flavor but flimsy. My cousin got the wings with french toast. He wasn't thrilled about either. I tried a drumette of his and even the wings had an off flavor. Not good yall! Especially not for the bill we paid!! The only thing we both really enjoyed was the fried salmon app. Needless to say, won't be coming back here.

Yelp
Overall it was okay. Not nasty but i wouldn't go back. I did get a Hennessy strawberry margarita which was very good. The person with me got a stubborn atl mule. That wasn't that good. Service was good. The white powder on chicken is salty but in a good way. Just a warning for people watching their pressure.

Yelp
Walked in and decided to sit at the bar and work. I wasn't greeted right away which wasn't a big deal. When she finally came.. I ordered a Georgia peach.. the cinnamon on the drink was overwhelming and I didn't want to be that person to say make me a new one so I drank as much as I could. I ordered the fried deviled eggs.. LOVED IT!!! It's something about they sauce that set it off right. I literally probably sat there for 20/30 min before she finally asked me did I want anything else. Yes I wanted to try the Aunt Bertha. When I say that was quick and hot. It made up for the other delay in service . I loved the greens but it is a lot of stems. The Mac and cheese was okay and the chicken was good. I would definitely be back. If for nothing else it would be the deviled eggs.

Yelp
The food was good at Old Lady Gang. The service and ambiance were okay, nothing memorable. We had a good time catching up with old friends.

Yelp
We ordered the Chicken & French Toasts and Salmon and all were delicious. I especially loved the french toast and cornbread. Both were the perfect amount of sweet to go with their savory companions. We also tried the fried deviled eggs since they sounded interesting but they were just okay. Service was good. Atmosphere is nice and the playlist is good. They're using QR codes to pull up their menu and it looks like some of the other menu's people shared aren't accurate anymore. FYI - they auto gratuity everyone 18%.

Yelp
One thing I take pride in is writing honest reviews! I'll start by my first impression upon walking in was pleasant. I came in on a Wednesday around 3. Russ greeted us, asked if we wanted to sit at the bar or a table. Of course we choose the bar (I love my lemon drop Martini) the bar was nice decent space between each seat. Russ the greeter was also working the bar, the drinks were great. His customer service is a good representation of how customers should be treated. He was very knowledgeable about items on the menu. He was also great with his drink mixing skills. The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 star is because the lack of staffing. Poor Russ was the bartender, back up host, food grabber, order corrector. I mean it was horrible to see it, he was apologizing because he had to leave the bar to do something else. He should be able to attend strictly to the bar! He's personable I ordered 6 drinks in my short time there. If I could've gotten more I would've but I felt bad keeping him at the bar when I turn around and see 4 to 5 people waiting to be seated. The food most definitely was worth every penny! The twist on the fried tomatoes was my first time every seeing such creativity. It took a few bites to put all the flavors together. As you see I cleared my plate, I'll try the other location next time. I'm curious to see the consistency

Yelp
Visited Atlanta with one "unplanned" meal to spare so we had to come to OLG. Our waitress was so helpful and nice, I remember her name is Ms. Sade and I went there over a week ago. Thank you smooth operator! Lol. Thankfully there was no line at this location and we immediately got seated outside. Parking was a breeze. Anyway, we decided to try a few things from the menu and they were all really good. Sade let us know what was popular and what she recommended, so we kinda went based on that and OLG did not disappoint. I think my favorite appetizer was probably the deviled eggs with the shrimp on top. I decided to go with the fried chicken, also really good with pretty big portions. My favorite sides were the Mac n' cheese and the greens. The yams were good too but by the time my food came I was already pretty stuffed .. once reheated they didn't hit the same but you get it. One person with me got the exact same thing and felt the same way, so the chicken is a win. Someone else got the rib tips and refused to share so I guess they were good too lol. As far as drinks, I chose the Sneaky Peach drink, when I tell you the cinnamon sugar rim alone made this drink a winner. Not too strong to knock you out but you know the alcohol is there. So yummy! If I go back, I'm for sure ordering this drink. The others got the courvoiser margarita and said it was pretty strong but still had a good taste. All in all, great experience and will be back again for sure to try some other menu items.

Yelp
Wouldn't suggest anyone to come here. Salty food. Terrible customer service (not from everybody). The waitress I had literally made it her business to ensure my dining experience sucked. Avoid this place. Go to Popeyes.

Gale D.

Yelp
1 I travel from TX to visit this establishment I was so disappointed of the condition. It was flirty, the bathroom was to dirty to use both of them. The floor was horrible so dirty my shoes was sticking to th the flirty carpet. It was a shame

Ashley K.

Yelp
This place needs a deep clean! Tables & Floor sticky. Food could have come from This Is It...like the macaroni & cheese has no real flavor, taste like chicken broth. Shrimp & Grits has the same flavor sauce as Mac & Cheese. Rib Tips came from This Is It. Cornbread was the only really tasty thing I had. Sweet Tea had a water down flavor, more like sugar water.
google avatar

Stan I.

Yelp
What can I say? I had a lot of hopes but this was easily one of the worst restaurants I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. I ordered the fried fish - it came with Mac and cheese and collard greens. It also came with a corn muffin but none of the menu items indicate that, so I ordered an unnecessary plate of cornbread. The collard greens had no seasoning in them, no fat back, no nothing. The Mac and cheese was just elbow macaroni and American cheese - nothing elevated even though the price was. And the fish had a tasteless coating and was dry - the only thing worth buying was the alcoholic punch I had. Don't waste your time or money here.

Yelp
Initially there was a 45 minute wait, but luckily outside seating was available. Even with it being 80 degrees outside, there was a nice breeze in their shaded area. Two people ordered the French toast, with fried chicken. I ordered the lamb chops with Mac & cheese, someone else ordered the olg wings. The French toast & fried chicken was so tasty! The French toast was perfect, and came with cinnamon butter, plus syrup of course. The wings were perfect! Perfectly crispy. The person who got the olg wings was wondering where the hint of heat was. Apparently they were supposed to be spicy but weren't. They still enjoyed their meal though. Catfish bites, very mischievous so over cooked. The batter was good thoughts Unfortunately my lamb chops and Mac were underwhelming. I was asked how I wanted them cooked, I requested medium. Medium definitely turned into well done. Also they were sliced pretty thin for the price. The mac tasted like one the comes from a tv dinner. I used to order this a lot a while back. The flavors, and quality has changed. Let me add that the waiter's service was pretty good. Note that gratuity will automatically be included in your check.

Yelp
We had an wonderful experience at Old Lady Gang! The menu offers many southern comfort foods options. I enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits entree. The salmon bites were an excellent appetizer and I highly recommend them. All our food was delicious including dessert (be sure to save room). I ordered a margarita which was top notch. Little pricey but everything was well worth it. The service was also wonderful. We were visiting from out of town and Old Lady Gang was my favorite meal while in Atlanta.

Yelp
Slow but worth it! Amazing food, great atmosphere. The lamb and the fried chicken were kicken.

Yelp
Old Lady Gang - 3650 Market Place Blvd: A Taste that Lacks Southern Comfort If you're craving authentic Southern comfort food, Old Lady Gang at 3650 Market Place Blvd is not the place to be. Food: I started with a Strawberry Hennessy Margarita and shared deviled eggs with my friend. While catching up with my friend, I noticed that the deviled eggs lacked any distinct flavor other than the taste of bacon. My friend ordered fried fish, and I ordered the lamb chops (medium). The dish included four lamb chops with a Korean glaze, which initially excited me. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. My first bite was filled with fat, which I had to discard. The second lamb chop was red, not pink, and extremely tough, despite being charred on the outside. The third chop looked more promising but was also tough and fatty. It was evident that only a very small bite had been taken from the chops, a lot of fat was clearly visible and the meat was red once you got past the char. The only thing that the waitress and Manager could not see was how tough the lamb was. When the waitress checked on us, I expressed my concerns. Rather than having the cook prepare a new dish, I requested the lamb chops be removed from my bill. She needed approval from the manager, who arrived visibly irritated. When I explained my experience, she questioned why I didn't stop after the first bite. I reiterated that I didn't expect all the chops to be mostly fat and tough, and I pointed out the discarded fat wrapped in a napkin. She reluctantly asked the cook to prepare another entree for me versus simply removing the lamb chops from my bill. She stated that the restaurant does not provide refunds. However, it"s a restaurant that charges an automatic gratuity. Service: The restaurant does not take reservations and automatically adds an 18% gratuity to your bill. Unfortunately, the service is subpar, comparable to any fast-food chain. Ambiance: The décor and vibe are what you would expect from an average restaurant in a plaza or market-type setting. Overall: Old Lady Gang at 3650 Market Place Blvd is not the place to visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Southern cuisine. The food is not craveable, the service is average, and it is overpriced for the food quality, experience, and mandatory gratuity regardless of the number of people. I highly recommend choosing another restaurant. This visit confirmed my initial hesitation, but I tried it today at a friend's request. Rating: 1/5

Yelp
Flew all the way from Cali to try OLG! My first time in ATL and this was well anticipated. When we walked in the hostess was extremely nice. She immediately could tell that we were not from the area and asked where we were from an engage in a conversation and then seats us. Immediately after getting seated, we noticed an older couple to the right side of us that appear to be agitated as they were waiting for their check. I heard them repeatedly ask the server for their check. They were already talking about how frustrated they have been for waiting so long. After sitting down for about 30 minutes, we are finally asked what we wanted to drink. In any other normal circumstances I would've gotten up and left to be honest but we flew over 1200 miles to be here to try this place out so we had to see it through. The food literally took almost an hour and 45 minutes to get to us. My advice is if you have anywhere to go after this place, it might not be the best idea asamount of time it took for the food to get her table was ridiculous. And there wasn't that many people in the restaurant. Honestly, the food was a 10 out of 10 everything pictured was amazing. The yams are good, fried eggs are a great the fish was season to perfection. I was not impressed with the cornbread, though it was dry and actually kind of hard. However, the major turn off was the bathroom. It was utterly disgusting in there. The trash is overflows with paper towels, falling to the ground. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. The toilet paper wasn't even on the dispenser It was hanging to the floor and the smell was horrible. If that is what the public bathroom looks like I can only imagine what the kitchen may look like. I was a extremely surprise that Kandi as well put together as she is would have her establishment in this condition. Overall, the food is good the service was terrible and the cleanliness was unexceptionable! I'm a huge Kandi supporter so to finally come in person and it be like this was a little bit of a let down.

Yelp
Out running errands we stopped in for a quick lunch and an order to go. Customer service is resting bitch face type service. We ordered a side of collard greens and deep fried whipped deviled eggs for lunch. Order to go: grilled lamb chops with side of Mac & Cheese and kandi's sweet yams. So delicious and held flavor of left overs. 5 stars on the taste Kandi's honey glazed blackened salmon with collard greens and green beans. Moist with each bite another meal worth the experience.

Yelp
Blank what you heard. OLG quote Aja gave me and my friends the best service ever. The food was on point and the Drinks. I read some of the reviews and I'm confused. My experience was more than Exceptional. We came with good energy and OLG matched it. Hands down, I would recommend the excellent experience to all my family and friends. Take a seat at the BAR and ask for Aja Kandis Honey Glazed Blackened Salmon Rib Tips Appetizers Wings Fried green tomatoes Greens

Yelp
First stop after landing into ATL. Loved the vibe at this location. My husband and I ordered the old signature wings, Rib tips, and chicken and French toast. All of it tasted great. Really enjoyed the chicken and French toast especially.

Yelp
I ordered the salmon bites for an appetizer and the fried chicken dark for main course. They had a surcharge of $7 to get white and I personally feel like that's insane but what do I know. Either way the chicken was good. Hot. Got two drums and a thigh. Ordered Mac and cheese and greens as side. Both good. Not "wow." But def good. Salmon bites were okay but over cooked. Buttt Nicole, the bartender? Baby she made them drinks okay!? Left out feeling wonderful. So def order some drinks if she's at the bar.

Yelp
Amazing! We came out to ATL from las vegas with high expectations. OLG was our 1st food spot, and it didn't let us down. This was my ladys 1st taste of Southern food. From the 1st bite of the fried green tomatoes w/ bbg chicken, we knew we were in for a treat. We sat at the bar, and Nicolle, our bartender, gave a level of service that is unmatched even in vegas. We had the fried chicken with Mac and cheese and collard greens and had the peach cobbler for dessert. Needless to say, everything was amazing. A big thanks to Nicolle for her exemplary service and her recommendations for where to go in ATL to have a good time. If you are in the ATL and are hungry, definitely stop by OLG. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Salad was great and Rann was absolutely amazing. He was quick and very attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Horrible. Never going back. Management is terrible. They automatically put a 18% tip for bad service. We asked for plastic silverware due to my allergy and due to the person that was with me not trusting silverware. We were told that management doesn't allow that but I could get a plastic set because of my allergy. The person that was with me was not allowed a plastic set. We opened the first silverware set, and it was bent up. So we took video opening the second set which still had food stains on it. Management got super defensive talking about we had ulterior motives to record it. She was more worried about that than making sure the silverware was clean. Then she tried to act like it was a scratch instead of a food stain. I wouldn't have even wrote this but her playing victim when they aren't cleaning properly doesn't sit well with me.

Yelp
Aunty Kandi, today was my first day visiting your restaurant and I must say; The food and the drink was great but let's talk about the poor customer service I experienced. My waiter was Quez and it was not on point at all. As someone with a retail:store and restaurant background I expect to be greeted with care, and respect. As he was sitting around talking and laughing with the manager on duty at the time 07/02/24 around 3pm we were waiting to be serviced. We had to ask another waiter multiple time for service, and even to help customers that came in after they were waiting for a while. After we packed our items up with to go containers we still sat there for another 25 minutes before I asked him for the check as he was no where to be found. Again, the food was great, but the customer service needs some work. I appreciate you my Black Aunty and hopefully this feedback will help you serve our community better in the near future! Much Love!

Yelp
Food wasn't anything special. Normal basic southern food. We waited about 35 minutes but it was busy so I understand.

Yelp
Finally made it to this place. I was uber excited about returning to Atlanta and dinning here. The whole reason I went was to try the fried deviled eggs. Let's start with those deviled eggs. Amazing!!!! We added the shrimp on top($5 additional charge) They were sweet and I savored every bite. I wanted to order more but we got the last of the eggs because they ran out completely (disappointed). The wings were good. *side note the PEACH ICED TEA....YESSSSSSSS! Do order! I insist! The salmon gave us the blues. Not good at all. Under seasoned. It was supposed to have a sweet glaze but it didn't. It was bland and dry. I wanted so bad to like it. The mac n cheese was giving me the blues as well. I expected better. It was missing something...not sure what though. The yams were good. The cornbread (rolling eyes)...was giving fire the cook vibes. Sorry! Oh and the crabcake was a no for me.It was more cake than crab if that makes sense. Also, our food was lukewarm...OK that ish was cold! Nothing was served pipping hot. Bummer! Would I eat here again?. Probably not. If so I'll just do a take out on the fried deviled eggs.

Yelp
5 stars- excellent food served fresh and hot. Totally delicious. Service was professional and light. The place was small but clean. The cost was high (added 18% for 2 couples) and wait for food long

Yelp
My family and I when escaping hurricane Milton. decided to visit one of my bucket list places. OLG finding out it was so close to us was great and because I wanted to support one of my favorite artist. However I was very disappointed and left mad that I even spent any of my money there. The service was the worst I have ever experienced . The servers were so rude and even left the restaurant for about 10 mins to go talk out side. Slim was our waitress and she acted as tho we were a problem to her when talking our order she never explained that you had to scan the code in the middle of the table to get the menu. We order two apps the fried deviled eggs and the salmon bites which both were pretty good. For our food my fiancé got the fried chicken and I got the lamb which I ask for them to be cooked well done. It looked amazing until I cut into a raw lamb chop. The corn bread was tough to pull apart and the greens were burnt tasting. The Mac and cheese was good tho. I was so disappointed because I really was excited to try them. They were really raw . I sat there for about 30 min playing games with my daughter waiting for the server to come over she finally did after about 35-40 min at that point we wanted the check and she said my manager could make them over, not I'm sorry or anything it's really sad the manager never came over and said anything. I would say if you want good service this is not the place maybe the one downtown is better but this location is horrible. Its sad that we even had to deal with it considering we were already dealing with the storm and the stress that causes, to then deal with someone who doesn't even like there job. It's really sad that they add the tip in maybe if they had to work for them they would appreciated them a little better but cause she didn't deserve a tip at all. Very sad pictures below for reference.

Yelp
Service was great but food was not. Don't expect great Southern cuisine. Cabbage was cooked so hard it was brown and cold. The String beans were literally Green as if they had not been steamed let alone cooked. There was an unusual odor in the facility and it wasn't the smell of cooking.
