Great looking place aesthetically. The Miami vibe is terrific. Lots of Dolphins and University of Miami paraphernalia. 😍 The food was Decent. The pretzel was outstanding. The beer is cold and the drink I had was great. The chicken wings and the onion rings were ok, but not great. The Mahi tacos were ok, but not the best. Service was a bit slow, perhaps due to a party upstairs, so I will not fully judge until I come back again. I hate not giving places with potential their five stars, but I’ll be back soon to make sure it’s either a five or a four. Do visit and judge for yourself.

It was my first time coming to Old Tom’s and my experience was nothing short of amazing from the food, drinks, and our server Camila who was very attentive and sweet. Will definitely be coming back!

Been here a few times. Food is great (that’s why we come back). Service is alright. Desert is a hard pass, definitely been sitting for as long as it can..BATHROOMS is why I’m writing here. Bathrooms need work. If you’re going to run a bar definitely invest in your bathrooms. For the last 3 times I’ve gone in the bathroom it’s lacked paper towel and toilet paper.

My friends and I recently hit up Old Tom's Sports Bar to catch UM game, and it was the perfect spot! The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a great sports bar: tons of screens everywhere, the energy is high, but it's not so loud that you can't talk to your group. They've got a great selection of beers on tap and the menu is full of delicious food, the wings were particularly awesome! ​But what really made our experience stand out was our server, Margie. ​From the moment we sat down, Margie was on top of everything. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient, even though the bar was packed. Our drinks were never empty, and she handled all our appetizer requests perfectly and with a genuine smile. ​If you're looking for a top-notch place to watch any sporting event, with great food, Old Tom's is the place.

Pretty interesting atmosphere, I like the old truck parked outside. The food was great and at reasonable prices. I had the chicken Philly and it was very good.

Izzy was amazing that whole time I was at the bar. It’s our first time here and he recommended a lot of food and drinks which were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and it was all thanks to our bartender Izzy. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked, gave great recommendations, and somehow balanced being efficient with being genuinely warm and super friendly. It felt like we were being hosted by a friend who also happened to be a total pro. Outstanding service from start to finish. Will be back because of him.

Are you looking for a place where you can watch sports with friends and family that has great food and drinks? Old Tom's is definitely the place to be at! Any table you sit down at there is a tv in view to watch, not to mention two big screen tvs as your main source to watch. I went during a college football game night and the vibes were great, the whole restaurant was having a great time watching the games with cheers left and right coming from people rooting for both teams. The energy was very high and fun. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I've had multiple appetizers here and they are always amazing. A favorite of mine is the corn dogs. The burgers are unlike other burgers you order at a normal sports bar. They are stacked tall with patties and have a unique variety of flavors to choose from! The group of friends I went with were not disappointed and loved the change of place to watch football. Their drinks and food were great and the beer was cold. We couldn't ask for anything else! If you are in the area give Old Toms a try! You won't leave dissatisfied! Make sure you come with an appetite!

This sports bar surprised me. Cool laid back spot to grab some drinks, some food and watch a game. I met up with friends here, first time for me, and it was an overall good experience. They have quite the variety for burgers, so if that's your thing I definitely recommend this place. Not into burgers? They also have wings, steaks, ribs, nachos, tacos, soups and salads. For drinks they have drafts & crafts beers, wines, ciders, liqueurs and cocktails. A few options for desserts and the service was good.

We went to a birthday party upstairs in their private room which was very nice! We had a wonderful time with friends. The food was amazing! Lots of finger food and salads which were delicious. We loved the fried cheese curds! The dips and chicken were very tasty and just perfect! Bar service was good , had to wait a little for my drink cause they were busy, but my drink was fabulous! I must say we had a most memorable time!

First time visit as we've been meaning to try. Very good choice. Inside presentation is very cool. Tried the 305 and Cyberburgers. Pretty good choice and met the Burger craving. Asked about the wings so I can use as an option on the next visit. Jason was very attentive and great attitude. Def recommend for anyone wanting a sports bar vibe.

We came after the kids Soccer Game. They girls ordered the Giant Pretzel and devoured it in seconds. We ordered Drinks, Wings, Sandwiches, Ribs, he kids ordered Chicken Fingers, Fries and Quesadilla. The only item that was not enjoyed was the Quesadilla, it was too greasy.4 Wings were very good, Ribs too, and the rest liked their different menu items. There is an old car front as you come into the place, it looks cool.

Awesome place to hang and enjoy delicious food in a chill ambiance and courteous service. We came here to have a relaxing birthday celebration. Our server JC made the experience special. Starting with cocktail recommendations such as the guava martini, the cheese curds , and the amazing Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was spot on. Not to mention the staples like wings and scrumptious hamburgers. We concluded this meal with their delicious key lime pie which was a winner as well. Whether you're there to watch a game or de stress after a hectic day , or a special celebration. Old Tom's is where you want to go .

The worst in town so far. The burgers are horrible , and don't dare order the greasy fries you will be sick just looking at them. Have no idea why we came to this place . Once again food and service has gone to the dumpster. So, so disappointed.

Fast service, very attentive waiters and fast bar service as well. The food was reasonably priced and tasted great. The E-Z peel shrimp is a must . The mahi mahi with pineapple salsa was delicioussssss and you can never go wrong with chicken wings, can't wait to come back!

Old Tom's Sports Bar is a fun enough bar with a cool ambiance and vibe. The staff is friendly and professional and the drinks were cold and refreshing. Nice enough place and it seemed to have a good following in the neighborhood. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend a visit here.

The wings were good, the nachos weren't bad, the chips in the chips and salsa were stale, but honestly what really knocked off stars besides the bad chips was the time it took to receive service, and it wasn't the first time unfortunately. Seems like they didn't have the staff to handle the small influx of three tables that came in, but also, a beer should not take 15 minutes, nor water, or the food even longer when it's this empty besides a few filled tables. The staff was trying their best but it seems like they needed help with the floor. I assume if this place is usually empty this isn't a problem but, that shouldn't be the case especially if an NBA final is being played at a sports bar on a weekend.

Nice menu nice atmosphere good service. Have an upstairs it's great for private meetings or small banquets.

Always a fun time here. It's our go to for our gym happy hour, especially when there is football or hockey. The service is always great. Shout out to Sol. She gave us such great service this last time here. Ambiance is casual and fun, which is right up my alley. They have good menu yo choose from, so you have something for everyone.

Great neighborhood "Cheers" bar. Super laid back. A little gem with the best pretzel and homemade hummus on the planet. Wash it down with a cold beer. Must go.

The server David was super nice and the food came out super fast. There was no wait, and we sat quickly. The place was so clean and comfortable.

Went today for lunch. The place had a good amount of people in there to stay open for the time being. Not sure how successful it will be moving forward. Ordered the ahi tuna appetizer. It was just ok. The pretzel was also just ok, seemed dry. The nacho cheese was good. Also ordered but not pictured the special grilled wings. The wings were so tiny and sooo salty. All 4 people in our party agreed. The atmosphere and decor are really really nice, however, there is so much dust. We sat in a booth under the big TV and there was a layer of dust underneath the whole length of the tv. :( The server was nice and attentive as well as the lady that appeared to be the manager that helped to bring out some of our food. I hope with some minor changes they can adjust the recipes and pay attn to the cleanliness of the restaurant because it's such a beautifully decorated restaurant.

This place has been around a long time but in the Miami springs area so when I heard they opened in Kendall I reserved a table for 10 to watch the Miami Dolphins play and as always the food was great , I recommend bourbon wings and the burger you won't be disappointed!!

Ordered wings because my family kept saying how amazing they were but they really weren't anything special. I got the garlic parm & it didn't have any coating on the outside. Also got fish dip which was decent, but only because they were sold out of what I originally wanted - their hummus.

Old Tom's is a great place. I have been waiting for Old Tom's to open to give it a try. I think they have like a weird schedule since I tried a couple of times for lunch, but they open after 4 pm. Finally came here with the family and it is really nice. Everything is new, and the restaurant and bar look amazing. I wanted to try the chicken wings since they are the staple of any good sports bar... at least in my book. All wings are special grilled, and they taste incredibly good. Sauce comes on the side, and you have 6 or more different flavors to choose from. We had the Siracha and also the Buffalo sauce. Sriracha was better since the Buffalo sauce was too creamy. Definitely have to try other sauces... but the wings themselves were really good. Also tried the giant Bavarian pretzel with cheese, and that was just okay. Pretzel itself was good, but the cheese sauce was not the best. So I ordered mustard and had it with just that. Much better. The hamburger was good and it was cooked perfectly... medium rare as I wanted it. Also, the rare tuna tataki salad was cooked perfectly and had lots of good flavors. Prices are very reasonable, and service was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and very attentive. In general, everyone was excellent. We are glad that this new sports bar is in our neighborhood and look forward to coming here more often. Old Tom's is highly recommended for hanging out with friends and family. Lots of TVs and great sitting areas.

Finally, a restaurant that may actually last in this location! I have lived in this neighborhood for quite some time and watched this location become several things and fail each time. My fiancé and I watched the building become Old Tom's and decided that the next time we went out for dinner we would try it. Yesterday, while deciding what to eat, we both thought of Old Tom's. We walked into the restaurant and already loved the look of it. It has an old garage, sports bar vibe but with somewhat of a more upscale feel while also being relaxed and upbeat at the same time (if all that makes any sense). The bar area is a super cozy man-cave looking area that I can't wait to sit at whenever we come without our kid. We were told the wait would be about 40 minutes so we sat at a seat while our 5 year old went to play in the FREE PLAY Pac-Man ... AMAZING. Servers and managers would pass by us and assure us that we would be seated shortly. They were so attentive already and we hadn't even been seated yet. After what felt like hardly a wait, we were seated and quickly met by our server. We ordered some beers from the extensive selection. After the beer i ordered had run out, the manager came out an apologized herself. This place really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Now, the most important part...the food. Delicious! We started with the smoked fish dip that was fresh and delicious. The dip was served with a heaping serving of FRESH tortilla chips AND pita chips. For dinner we tried the wings and burger. Both were absolutely DELICIOUS. The wings were just sooooooooooooo good! They were seasoned perfectly with a crispy bite and tender meat. The sauces served on the side were also out of this world! Definitely have the wings when you come! We heard the servers around us and all of them were so kind and attentive. Whoever staffed this place knew what they were doing because everyone was fabulous. 5/5 - definitely a place to visit and keep in business!

Pretty cool bar in kendall to watch the dolphins game. It's right on kendall drive before the Snapper creek Hwy. Happy hour prices are unbeatable for the area. Raul our bartender was funny and attentive. Food was just ok. I had wings and fries. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with paper. Plenty of parking available at no cost. Overall, I definitely will be back to watch a game here again.

You know, I've passed this place a million times and always wondered what it was like. Well, the other day I wanted to go watch game 5 of the Stanley cup--that game where the Panthers were supposed to win after taking a 3-0 lead... but anyways, we won't talk about that--although they won! haha. Anyways, I got invited to go watch the game there, so I was looking forward to finally seeing what this bar looked like inside. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a lot nicer than any regular sports bar. Everything looked so fresh. Not sure if they recently renovated or if that's just how its always been. I'm also a sucker for a bar with original sports memorabilia and they had a couple of signed jerseys and other stuff hung up on their walls. My friends and I had their wings and a couple beers. I love how their menu had photos of every food item, it's honestly the best, especially when you order based off visuals like myself. Although I didn't order them, the burgers look mouth-watering. My appetite wasn't that big, so I honesty just munched on some wings and a caesar salad. This place is great to watch games, hangout with friends, meet up for a date etc. Prices are reasonable. Staff was on point and they don't really have a long wait time to be seated.

Old Toms is a sports bar. Lots of TVs and Dolphins jerseys on the walls. It is a little dark which is nice. It is clean. They had some classic rock playing. It was mid-afternoon. I had a pint of Guinness with a Bushmills (they were out of Jameson). I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. The sandwich was great. Very fresh and tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. It's the type of place where you can join the group conversation and you don't get stared at. Very friendly place. It would be a great place to watch a game.

So, we have come here twice, the first time was just due to the cool truck out front. We were driving somewhere else and saw the truck and said what the heck. Knowing nothing about the place, we were pleasantly surprised that the place was much nicer on the inside.... The outside architecture is a bit harsh. The food and service was good and for bar food, it is what you expect.

The menu is decent, I would say better than most sports grills in the Kendall area but the service I think McDonald's is better. Orders kept getting confused, no water, even the straws were the too small for the size of the cups. There was no sense of urgency or importance to basic hospitality courtesy. It felt like the business had no management nor supervision to make sure the servers were treating customers properly. We went with a group of 13 and would not be back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Always drove past this place, so I decided to try it out. It was empty when I visited tonight, but that's to be expected during the week. Besides the less than pleasant greeting as I asked to sit at the bar, my drink was made improperly, but tolerable. The food order was completely wrong, but I wasn't going to send it back at the risk of the kitchen messing with my new order. The food was bland, no seasoning. I'll pass on the opportunity to come back.

It's good to have a new bar in Kendall. So many good places have closed down over the last couple of years, the ones that remain are overcrowded. So I have been to Old Tom's only once, but I want to go back and get a better idea of what it is like. From that one time, there are things that I liked, and things I didn't. This is your basic sports bar, but a lot cozier and more intimate. It also helps that it is not very crowded and you can probably find a place at the bar whenever you go. This "hidden gem" quality makes a very appealing option, compared to other places that you may have to wait for. My experience wasn't the best, but I am always willing to give a place a second or a third chance. I was sitting at one of the tables near the bar. The service seemed very slow for a place that wasn't very crowded. I should have sat at the bar to get a better service. At one point I tried to get my drink from the bar directly, instead of waiting for my slow server, but they refused to serve me since I was not sitting at the bar. The food seemed typical of what you find in sports bar, but I need to try it a few times to get a better idea. The part that I really didn't like is that when you get your check, they automatically add 20% to the total (which I didn't want to pay my slow server) and then they leave the tip line blank to make you think that you need to tip. If you are not paying attention, you can leave 40% in tips. I understand this practice for parties of 6 or more, but not for parties of 2

Heard a few good reviews about this place so gave it a try. Had the wings as an appetizer. Wasn't a fan. Had good heat to them but too much sauce overall. Split the croqueta burger and Swiss burger. Croquetas were good but in general the whole burgers didn't taste great. I usually finish all my food even if I don't love it but I couldn't finish this, actually made my stomach hurt after. Fries had no flavor. Waitress was great and place is cute inside. Just not the best food.

The place has a nice ambiance, but the food leaves a bit to be desired. Also both items that we ordered were very spicy even though we specifically asked the wait staff to make sure it wouldn't be. We were a little disappointed because we loved the original old Tom's. so when we saw that they were opening one nearby, we figured it would be our new go to place. But I think we're going to wait a while to come back.

The beer and the apps were good, didn't try much else. Dinner time was hectic so avoid 7:30-9 (if you can, if not be okay with waiting) Highly recommend the waffle fries, great selection of beers. This would be a good place to watch a game.

Food is amazing... great ambiance for a sports bar. Waitress Genesis and Bartender David are the best! Great customer service.. Highly recommend this place!

Came here today, checking out the new place. Haven't been to sports bar in while so went in ready for anything. Long story short. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! As soon as we walked we were greeted and seated right away. Friendly host excellent service right at the start. We ordered our appetizer which were the buffoon wing and they couldn't be anymore crispier and delicious ! The lemon pepper, tequila Lime and old crow bourdon are really good highly recommend. And then we ordered the house special the Tominator. Excellent burger! Spicy just enough, good applewood smoked bacon, American melted cheese lettuce onions and tomatoes... very classic but is worth the try, it's huge might wanna try it with someone to share. And again the staff, great service We had Yoli as our server and I can't express enough thanks to her in her labor of attending to us. Thank you Yoli, you made our night even more enjoyable

Met up with work friends last night and had a great time! We grabbed a couple of high-top tables in the bar area. The service was excellent, the drinks were good and the food was delicious. I loved my chicken quesadilla and my smoked Old Fashioned. The tacos and the burger all got great feedback from my friends.

The food was excellent. The service was very slow but it's understandable because they're just starting out. It's a sports bar type ambiance so for that side it's great. Their bathrooms were spotless & unique in their style. Keg style urinal, like I said unique. If they get their service staff is seen every 2 mins or so it would become a powerhouse in the area. My husband and I had one night at the Ramada before we flew out, so we had dinner here. There is plenty to choose on the menu, we had French onion soup and the Ahi Tuna salad, they were both great..Service by Anthony was wonderful and all were in good spirts for the holidays..please try this place, it has many TV's to watch and is very clean.

This place is amazing! I'm going to start with our server/bartender, David. He was so awesome, accommodating, friendly, attention to detail, and the list goes on and on and on. Can I give 100 review for him alone? I came after traveling all day, checked into my hotel and Old Tom's came up on the map nearby. A short Uber drive later, I arrived and was greeted enthusiastically and genuinely by David when I sat at the bar. Happy hour had great deals-$4-$7 drinks and $15 buckets of beer. I ordered a burger and one of the best I've ever had. Margs were handmade and only $6! David spent a lot of time giving recommendations to Miami, made me feel like I was getting the VIP treatment. Old Tom's, on Kendall was all you can want from a Sports Bar restaurant. Great food & service with a smile! Many screens with different games going on, and a huge screen filling up one wall. We started with the best French onion soup I've ever had. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was fresh & delicious. My Wife finished with an ice-cream brownie & I enjoyed a KeyLime. The prices were affordable, and Sarah was great. Manager Wes was a pleasure to speak to as well. Oh yeah, don't want to forget the amazing beer selection too. Any style you're in the mood for, with local brews in there too. They have a great bar area separate from the tables, which was an intelligent design detail. I understand a "Speakeasy" is under construction for the upstairs, opening in the future. This place is a must-see in person. So many textures involved.

I had been wanting to eat here for months and finally got around to it tonight. My, what a disappointment! Despite the place not being super packed for a Friday night, the service was slow. The waiter (whom I assumed to be the manager) bungled our order multiple times: He brought out pasta instead of mac and cheese for my daughter, didn't put any sauce alongside my sandwich, and forgot to bring my wife her drink. He never provided napkins or checked to see if we needed refills, either. Something is amiss at this place. I get the feeling the manager is trying to keep costs low, which would explain the skeleton crew they're working with and the small food portions. The food itself was average at best -- nothing out of this world. To be fair, maybe I happened to come on an "off" night for them, but I don't intend to return anytime soon. I'd much rather go to Sports Grill, where I can actually leave feeling full!
