If you have a pizza called the “Chuck Norris” you are automatically an amazing place;) the food was absolutely great and came out perfect just the way we ordered it. The service was top notch. We went in on a Saturday after a long day of painting and working and this was the perfect place to grab some food and beer. They have a beer for everyone with the various beers. Many of them are local which is always fun. We will definitely be going back to this place. The atmosphere was great as well. Plenty of people laughing and enjoying them selves.

I dropped by this local pizza joint after hearing rave reviews from friends, and it truly lived up to the hype. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I tried the "Angry Swine" pizza, and the combination of spicy sausage and jalapeños was a delightful kick. The beer selection was impressive, featuring a variety of local brews that complemented the meal well. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. However, the wait time for our order was longer than expected, and the place was quite noisy, which made conversation a bit challenging. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was satisfying, and I would definitely return for another slice.

Great, tasty pizza (if kinda greasy, but you can blot that with napkins,) fun private booths, games for the kids - this place is awesome! I do wish the bathroom was a little bit cleaner. The staff are so nice! And it's across the street from a great desert place, which is really nice. We'll definitely be back!

This place was first-class; like none other I've ever experienced! I've been to lots of pizzerias that has gotten it wrong, but this place was phenomenal ❤️ For starters, they really know how to pack a pizza; not only with toppings, but with great taste. The first night, I got the Chuck Norris with buffalo wings. The wings tasted a bit burnt, but I guess it's because I asked for crispy. However, they were still finger-licking good. So of course, I came back the next night. I selected the toppings for this pizza myself, and AGAIN, they didn't disappoint. I got BBQ the next night, and they were a lot better. Most pizza joints only makes the pizza right and screw up on wings and other small items, but this place got it right, through and through. All the staff I encountered were extremely nice and made me feel welcomed the moment I entered. I'm sad that I probably won't ever eat here again, once my job ends in Elk Grove, but I will always remember this place and recommend it to any/everyone!

Ordered the bbqc pizza, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Employees were friendly and helpful. Going there for the first time was a little awkward because you had to order at the front off to the side and there was a posted menu, just paper menus taped to the front window and available at the cash register. The alcohol menu was electronic so it kept going back and forth between the first and second half of the menu, it wasn't printed anywhere. I could also barely read it from the cash register. Apart from the weird set up for paying, it was a good time with good food. They also had games for kids to play.

Man what a place! The family wanted to try a new pizza place and we are glad we decided to try this place. The pizza was awesome, they have like 15 beers on tap so there's one you are bound to like and their spinach salad was so good. We tried the mushroom pizza and it did not disappoint. One thing that caught us off guard because we were first timers was that you have to find your own table and order your food at the bar. Even on a crowded Saturday night, we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for a table. If you are in Elk Grove, give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Some of the best pizza I have had in a LONG TIME! This place gives you that original pizza place type of feeling. The dough is where its at... and the pizza sauce tastes natural, rather than something from a jar or a can. When you pick up a piece of pizza-the cheese follows! I love cheese on my pizza......a lot of pizza places these days try to save money by limiting toppings and cheese, this place does not hold out! They also have some bomb chicken wings- crispy, quality meat selection and just enough sauce. Big selection of beers on tap as well. Good place to go eat at with or without your kids : )

Best pizza and beer selection in town. Been coming here for years and always love it. We usually get the chuck norris and otp works. The beer selection is great and the staff knows how to get you the beer you want. I had pliny the elder and a hazy but cant remember from where. I love this place and the ambiance is nice, low lights so easy on the eyes. I always come prepared with a sweater cause its cold in there during these hot days.

Amazing pizza one of your top favorites. My one big gripe is the older lady who wears a lot of make up, that works at the register. This woman is SO rude every time I go there, at first I thought she might be rude only to women but turns out she was just as rude to my father in law. Someone in mananagent need to say something if she is going to be in the front. Absolutely rude every time I have a question or anything.

I really enjoy the pizzas here. They've got great flavor and nice options. You can add substitutions for an additional charge, but it's well worth it. The beers are on a rotating tap and are always the finest pick. It's a taphouse so you can taste beers before you get a full pour. The service is great. Their owners are there often and are quite attentive. The inside is what you imagine a pizza/beer pub to be like. There is plenty of seating booths and tables. It's busy and many families come here. Local youth sports teams celebrate here as well. They have several televisions to broadcast sports games. It is very well run. I always like to bring friends and visitors to enjoy.

I went here a while back because I really wanted to eat fried pickles. The fried pickles were absolutely worth the price I paid in terms of quantity and quality. The place itself was pretty nice, darker lighting, a handful of arcade games tucked away. The service was prompt and friendly as well. I do intend on trying out more items from their menu in the future.

Always a top choice for local pizza! Always worth it. Staff always friendly, bar could use an update but I actually like the feel it has of an aged local bar/pizza place. We always end up with the Chuck Norris and another type of pizza typically. Video games, tons of space for large parties and small.

The pizza, wings, and cheesy breadsticks were very good. My group also enjoyed the darts, which were free to play. There are arcade machines to play, but not very good ones. I wish businesses were more intentional about what arcade machines to get, because bad ones just sit there collecting dust. A good quarter muncher would help, I getbthe feeling like businesses just don't know which ones to have, because people are picky now. The service was prompt and professional. Old Town, lamppost, and Fat Mike are the best pizza places in the city.

Still my favorite pizza joint in Elk Grove hands down! The crust is perfect and the toppings are the freshest. We thoroughly enjoyed our half and half pizza of mushroom with pepperoni and mushroom mayhem! I love the old town vibe, it's like stepping back in time to the 80s or early 90s with an old town neighborhood feel. Service was super friendly and fast. Also love the selection of beers and ciders on tap.

My husband and I have been going here since we were dating. This weekend, we brought our little girl to Old Town. We all loved the No Sleep Til Brooklyn pizza. I had a cider as well. We always have a delicious meal and great service here. 10/10

Ordered our pizza for pick up, fast service, friendly staff and most important the pizza is excellent. Our absolute go to favorite is the Who You Callin' Chicken!! Great crust, great garlic sauce with the right touch of garlic and a great balance of toppings! We have been here for dine in too and their craft beer assortment is the best in Elk Grove in my opinion! Never dissapoints!

Outstanding take-out pizza. Our previous favorite pizza parlor in Elk Grove was Lamppost Pizza, which is still a great choice, but Old Town is one notch above. Authentic thin crust, fresh toppings, really delicious, and right on time.

This place is convinietly located next to the children 's indoor play ground. We ordered for a large group and our food was ready quickly . Was very impressed with the service. The employees were friendly which made the overall experience better . We tried more the one pizza and it was delicious! Honestly their prices are really good compared to chain pizza places . Definitely will be back.

This place has clearly been here a long time as it has that old school pizzeria vibe. You seat yourself and order up front. We luckily found a table that fit the 8 of us. We ordered: the chuck Norris, the angry swine, who you calling chicken, as well as a side of cheese bread and fries. The food itself was a 5 star! Delicious with a hearty amount of toppings! I had to deduct a star for these two reasons: the unfriendly workers and simply how dirty this place was. Every table was dirty and there was only about 3 tables being used (it was a slow hour). Also don't come here if you're in a hurry cause delicious food can take a while.

A great pizza place with extraordinary blue cheese fries. I mean, they were just so delicious. I'm really glad I pursed the menu for longer, because these were definitely a gem.

Our family potluck always consists of my in laws bringing over Old town pizza. I was having a craving for it so my husband ordered take out for us to enjoy at home! We just love everything about the pizzas and enjoy it every time!

Basketball team bonding night on a Friday night. Order OTP Works, Chuck Norris, and Who Ya Callin Chicken pizzas as well as several orders of fries. The team enjoyed the OTP and Paco fries. Highly recommend making a reservation for large groups. It took a bit of time to find enough tables for our group. There was already a birthday party in the corner area. We took whatever tables we could find in bar area and dining room. Some of the parents ate standing. The staff were super helpful with recommendations and taking care of us. Will be back again. Support local!

After much talk in my aquatics class about this pizza I made a stop over and ordered Mushroom Mayhem and Angry Swine pizzas. The family was blown away with these awesome pizzas. The crust is so good not too thin and not too thick. The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is fun old school family fun place. We loved the pizzas so much we want to go back and try the others and fries and tots!

It was our first time here and it came highly recommended. It was a busy Saturday evening. Our pizza was delivered and it was not correct; but easily fixable (we took off the Sun dried tomatoes). It was difficult to enjoy our meal because a group of 4 or 5 kids were running and yelling the entire time we were there. (About an hour). We let the staff know and we were told, "It's Saturday. Come back on Tuesday when it's quiet." Wow! There may not be a second time. I understand busy-this was not that.

One of the best family own pizza restaurants in Elk Grove. They carry great selection of on tap beers and their pizzas are always delicious. They load up the ingredients on the pizzas, so every bite you take will blow your mind away. Staffs are friendly and the vibe is great. Lots of locals hang out here for a reason - and for all the good reasons. This place is perfect for a simple date night or family night.

I would like to say, we're thankful to have old town pizza and tap house in Elk Grove. This is one of the old and hidden gems of Elk Grove. They have delicious pizza. My kids love the pepperoni pizza although I don't eat pepperoni. Personally, I would say they have comfort vibe.

Another Enjoyable Evening at Old Town pizza with my family. The pizza was on Point as always. All the Veggies and Meat were like they had a little farmers market in the back (very fresh) . The Pizza dough was cooked to perfection. It had a light crisp on the bottom. The Employees were always busy making room and cleaning tables constantly. They were so nice. This is a very nice place to unwind and relax especially if you had a long week.

A staple pizza spot that's been around for years & a must try! It gets busy quickly & tables fill up fast. If you're eating in, head to the bar to place your order. Grabbing to-go is just as good. Their ranch is fire! 10/10 - OTP Works: the crust & marinara sauce was chef's kiss! It really made the pizza so enjoyable including all the toppings. 9/10 - Create your own (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, & pineapple): again the crust & marinara sauce were dynamite; the pineapples weren't spread out enough but everything was still tasty. 10/10 - Paco Fries: these were so yummy! It's a great combo of salty, tangy, & savory; blue cheese wasn't too pungent & fries were crispy. 8/10 - Jorge Fries: fries were piled high with nacho cheese & bacon; it's pretty salty overall, extra jalapeños were definitely needed. 8/10 - Buffalo Wings: they were a bit small, but great fry & seasoned well; it could use more buffalo sauce, so ask for it to be saucy.

This is one of my favorite pizza restaurants and has been since I first came here over 9 years ago! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Their menu is diverse with food and drinks for all kinds of food lovers. I do not drink, but there are many types of beer and or wine to choose from that can be ordered and enjoyed. My fix is the pizza. There are so many good choices and they even have anchovies which is one of my favorite pizza toppings! The staff I interact with are always friendly and go up and beyond to ensure my order is correct. There are also a lot of toppings they put on the pizza.

What a good place to have pizza and beer. They use a traditional pizza oven and not air cooked like the chains. Great beer selection. We took a soccer party of 12 girls and families and the staff was accommodating. This is not the same at OTP in Placer county and much better. The food is fresh and excellent taste. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years and always reccomended this place to people as it was one of the best pizza spots around. As of late, the service has gone down as well as the quality of the food. Pizzas come out burnt on the bottle of the crust, crust isn't consistent, almost dry, not airy... toppings have been less (I get it, inflation) and are not scattered properly. Example is I ordered half Chuck Norris and half Angry Swine and 1/4 of my pizza looked like it was part pepperoni. The fries are super soggy. My bf even got food poising and has been scared to go back since. I went in for a leftover (day old) slice and the salami had grey on it.... yikes. I hated to write this review but this is my update from the past 6 months to current visit.

Our favorite place to get pizza in the Elk Grove area!!! We love the pizza here, as it is some of the best we've had. The staff and service are also great, as every one is so accommodating to our needs. We also love the ambience, as it does not give a super fancy vibe, just a cozy and family friendly place to grab pizza and beer. Overall, highly recommend Old Town!!!

We came here for an end of the year soccer party. We had a separate area for our party, which wasn't that big so we sort of took over a huge part of the restaurant. The pizza was good. The fried pickles could've been breaded more. They weren't that good. We also had the wings, they were really good. The staff were very friendly.

We came on a busy weekday and it happened to be bingo night. The place seemed to be filled with regular customers and had a very cozy community vibe. My friends and I were invited to join their bingo event and the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We wanted to try all their vegetarian options and ordered two 16" pizzas - 1) half mushroom mayhem and half the mediterranean 2) half the old school and half turn on, tune in, vege out. Not pictured but we also ordered their garlic fries and a couple beers. Everything was so delicious and fresh! We all agreed that the mushroom mayhem was the best; it was definitely one of the top mushroom pizzas I've had! The garlic, spinach and various mushrooms was a perfect combination of flavor and texture and the truffle oil was a nice touch. Would highly recommend getting that when you visit! Friendly service, great ambiance, awesome vegetarian options, and delicious food!

The pizza was delish! It came out piping hot and had ooey gooey melty cheese. We went to celebrate an engagement. The place reminds me of a tavern with moody lighting and wood tables and wall accents. Great pizza, just not my favorite kind of atmosphere.

Old Town is hands down my favorite local spot for pizza, craft beers, and just having a good time. I think of Old Town every time I'm craving pizza, and it's always my last meal before I go on a keto diet because it's just . that . satisfying. Crust/Pizza Dough 5/5* I usually prefer Sicilian style pizzas with that thicker pan crust, but Old Town's crust is something else! Don't let the plain ol' looking crust fool you. They got the perfect crisp to fluffiness texture ratio, with a cornmeal dusted bottom, and there is actually a flavor to it! This is one crust you don't want to leave on your plate. No Sleep Til Brooklyn 5/5* My go-to. Somehow I always end up gravitating back towards this no matter how much I try to switch it up. I love ricotta and basil, and the tender, juicy, subtle flavor of the meatballs pair perfectly. Chuck Norris 5/5* How do they stack so many different kinds of protein on this?! It's like a meat market had a baby! And somehow there is still so much red sauce and gooey cheese to balance it all out. Honorable mention goes out to the linguica and meatballs. Phenomenal. Even though there are loads of meats and bacon, it isn't overly salty Iike the Angry Swine. Mushroom Mayhem 5/5* This is the best simple veggie pizza I have ever had. There isn't much variety on the toppings, but you can taste each and every one of them.. earthy juicy mushroom, truffle oil that you could actually smell AND taste, spinach, and garlicky sauce. The Angry Swine 2/5* They like to pack on the bacon here. Great for bacon lovers, but waaay too salty for me. Who You Callin' Chicken 3/5* As expected with chicken, this wasn't as flavorful as some of the other specialty pizzas. I added pesto to amp up the flavors, but it wasn't memorable. Paco Fries 3/5* These fries definitly pack a punch. The portion size is insane! They're like Jack's Urban Fries' on steriods.. LOADED with bacon, blue cheese, chili oil and flakes, parsley, green onions, and sauce. The bacon, blue cheese, and fries pairing is really salty, though, and after a while my mouth was begging for veggies or something to cut the salt. Garlic Parmesan Fries 5/5* Tons of garlic and real parmesan. Again, huge portions. Ranch 5/5* Who rates ranch you're thinking? I do! If you love ranch, you know not all ranches are created equal. This is the buttermilk variety and has a great consistency for dipping your pizzas and fries in. Hell, even that crust that you thought about leaving on your plate. They aren't skimpy here.. if you ask for it, they will give you plenty. Maybe that's not a good thing, since I can drink this stuff up. This place gets packed, especially on game days and trivia night, so get there early to snag a seat. Old Town is consistently delicious and they are so accommodating and awesome! I have never been able to order half and half on a small 8" pizza anywhere before. It's a great way to try all their pizzas. I can't even count how many times I have been here...and still counting.

Top favorite The Angry swine How can you go wrong with bacon, pepperoni and jalapeño? They throw that over a garlic creamy sauce and add cheese and make magic. Second family favorite is OTP kind of your standard combination pizza If your not into pizza the salads are big and they use the same quality ingredients that they use on the pizzas and the salad. Shout out to the beer selection they have on top most excellent Like with any popular restaurant there are times that you were going to wait significantly for your pizza. And that's going to happen at any place. That's any good. It's call demand.

Local pizzeria. What a gem. This place has a small town vibe which I love. Food not just pizza is delicious. Towny bites are yum. My goto is the Chuck Norris. So so good! But you can't really go wrong with whatever your preferences pizza is.

What a GREAT place. We were coming through town to Calaveras from a basketball tournament for our girls. The place was awesome from the moment we opened the doors. Extremely welcoming. Amazing food with a gluten free option for one of the kids , clean, super friendly and fast service. The owner was so awesome , he came by and was greeting tables asking how everything was. Even shared a tasting of beer with. my husband and I because he was so excited they had Wookie Jack. Super family friendly but also would be a great place just to go hang out and have a beer on a date night up by the bar. Definitely coming again.

This is simply the best pizza around. We now live in Cameron Park but will drive down specifically for this place! Love that different special events will host here. Did an Easter painting with the kids!

Everytime we come here food and service is always amazing. The ambiance is great. My favorite pizza is the mushroom pizza, and their ranch is amazing! Their beer selection is great and they also bring in seasonal beers!

I've ordered pizza from this restaurant numerous times via Door Dash and it's always consistently good! Today, I tried the BBQC and wow! I think I'll be craving this pizza on the regular-- It was that good! I also like their Mushroom Mayhem which is a delicious vegetarian option-- Trust me, you won't miss the meat!

Surprisingly pretty good pizza place with a really nice menu, not your typical take out pizza. We ordered the truffle fries, old school pizza, pepperoni, and the mushroom. All came out with crispy crusts with a decent amount of toppings and cheese. I would definitely come back here again.

Came again when it was a little slower to see if it would be less ...issue ridden? It was a rainy miserable cold Saturday after 1pm and still 80% full! So they obviously have a devoted base of customers who love what they're doing. We got the Mediterranean - special request: no parsley, add garlic. The order was the same as last time when it was messed up, but it was dinner rush and I don't blame them for missing a special request during such a frantic hellish time. The pizza dough had a perfect crust, the toppings were overflowing, the flavor was great and they remembered to take off the parsley... but forgot to add the garlic. We also got the wings naked with blue cheese, ...but they were ice cold in the middle and had to be sent back. Overall: price, portion, flavor are all there! Service is where it misses, but not by much.

People! If your craving great pizza don't waste your time (and money) on these chain restaurants this place has the BEST pizza around by far and the prices are reasonable they haven't really changed in the 15 yrs. I have visited

So good! Pizza was delicious, brought out as soon as it was finished which meant very hot and fresh pizza. 10/10. Salad was fresh, ranch was so good. Wings were great. No complaints with the food and friendly employees. Can't wait to go back.

First time coming here. The pizza was soo good if you haven't been here before it's definitely worth it. We ordered the Chuck Norris and it definitely hit the spot.

Service was excellent. We had gone to Elk Grove to see our granddaughter and they never rushed us to leave and we had a huge group. Pizza and desserts were delicious.

This place was really crowded, slow, and disappointing. Our salad had watered-down ranch dressing and was delivered by a man who didn't look at or speak to us. Our pizza had watered-down sauce and was soggy.

I do not know what happened. They should have been embarrassed to send this pizza out. Some slices had barely if anything but cheese on them. Topping clumped and not scattered well. Barely any red onion of which I paid for. So much grease the cheese was sliding off the pizza and the pizza was so grease logged that it could not hold structure. Tombstone creates a better pizza than this. Old Town used to be the best pizza for miles, but sorely disappointed. My boyfriend wants to give them another shot. See if this was just an off night, but I'm not in any hurry to order another pizza here after this embarrassment. (Three stars because the fried pickles, and ranch dressing are good + I have had decent pizza here previously)

I can't say enough about Old Town Pizza. Their pizza has never disappointed. Super delicious and flavorful. The chuck Norris is one of our favs. Also we love all the beer on tap and how they rotate monthly. Staff has always been pleasant. We even started hosting our kids soccer end of season parties there because we love it so much.
