The Best Road-Trip Worthy Restaurants Along California’s Central Coast

"If wandering down Pismo Beach’s Dolliver Street, follow one’s nose into Old West Cinnamon Rolls. That cinnamon-laced scent is impossible to miss and draws in the crowds, something this spot has been able to do since 1981. Sidle up to the display case to see which ones are still available, whether an original roll, with or without cream cheese frosting, or topped with pecans. Enjoy them while hot." - Eater Staff, Mona Holmes

Got here at 8:00 am on a Sunday and luckily the line was shortish. We ordered two rolls with cream cheese frosting. They pack it in a nice sturdy to go box which was nice. I assumed the cinnamon rolls would have been hot and fresh but weirdly enough, they were not. They weren't super soft either. The flavor was spot on however. I think heating them up would be key. Also ordered a vanilla flavored cappuccino which was made really well. Service was pretty fast considering how busy they were.

We came here early, afraid there might be a long line based on reviews. Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all. There was no line, which caught me off guard. I wasn't ready to order, lol. When I walked in, I was greeted right away. The lady was nice. I explained that it was my first time here, but she didn't really provide any recommendations. We were headed back home after this stop. I placed a good-sized order for my family to try for the holidays. I ordered: 1. Box of cinnamon rolls (frosting on the side) - My family enjoyed it. 2. Frosting & cherries - I thought this was good. A little sweet and tart with the crunchy edges. 3. Maple & bacon roll - This looked scary to me, like the bacon wasn't cooked. It was very fragrant. It was good to try, but I'm not the sweet and savory type 4. Pecan roll - My mom devoured this and scraped the plate clean of pecans that fell I had asked the person helping me, how do you warm it up in the oven? Her response was that you could warm it up in the microwave 🤦‍♀️. I don't know how to warm it up in the oven, but I'm sure you can google it. She didn't want to ask anyone for help. They weren't busy at the time. Our future generation is just sad. In my honest opinion, the cinnamon rolls were ok. Good to come here at least once to try it yourself. It's a different kind of cinnamon roll than what I'm used to. It was crunchy on top, a little dry, and wasn't the ooey goodness that you get in the middle. I would love to come back one day to visit Pismo Beach and try the other restaurants and walk around. It's a pretty place.

Google
Old West Cinnamon Rolls is an absolute gem in Pismo Beach! This place takes indulgence to a whole new level with their legendary cinnamon rolls. From the moment you step inside, the sweet, heavenly aroma sets the tone for a truly delightful experience. I tried the classic cinnamon roll, and it was perfection—warm, soft, and bursting with that rich cinnamon flavor. The icing was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, complementing the roll without overpowering it. They also offer some creative topping options, making it hard to choose just one! The staff was friendly and efficient, even with a busy crowd. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of their product. Whether you’re grabbing a roll to-go or enjoying it with a cup of coffee on their patio, this is the kind of treat you’ll crave long after you leave. If you’re in Pismo Beach, make sure to stop by Old West Cinnamon Rolls—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

Google
Ridiculously good cinnamon rolls. We got a pecan and a pumpkin spice roll, neither with frosting. They are both so tasty and sweet. I loved the sugar crunch on the pecan one. Such a great treat.

Google
Every time I passed by this place, there was always a line up. So obviously curiosity got the best of me and decided to try their infamous cinnamon roll. These cinnamon rolls were worth the wait - absolute freshness with every bite. The rolls were perfectly warm, soft and fluffy. However, I do find the cream cheese a bit sweeter than I would like.

When we visit pismo Beach, this place is always packed, so we decided to come when right when they opened in the morning and the service was fast and no line. The cimmanon rolls are very sweet and tasty at the same time. it has a lot of diffenr varieties . It's kind of addictive.

Google
Best desert place in town! Hands down. Gooey goodness you don’t wanna miss. I got the classic cream cheese on top but don’t forget to ask to warm it up first. They have savory flavors too. The line has to go from the left, not the right side! Locals will sit down and have a bite, you can get your seats soon. Place has a rustic vibe! I would def come back to try the bacon and cream next time!

Google
Awesome local spot for breakfast but you really can have it anytime of the day. Lots of parking around the area. Lines can get long, but it goes fast, dining tables are outside. They also have a few souvenirs to purchase inside along with ground coffee. They’re well known for their cinnamon rolls and they definitely taste great especially when consumed after its been freshly prepared.

Yelp

Yelp
If you're a cinnamon roll lover, Old West Cinnamon Rolls is an absolute must-visit! This was hands down one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Despite the long line, service was efficient, and we got our order right away. There isn't much seating, but it's nice and casual. I opted for the original cinnamon roll ($3.50) and the cream cheese frosted version ($4.50)--both were phenomenal. The rolls are light, pillowy, and perfectly sweet, without that artificial aftertaste that some frostings have. The balance of cinnamon, sugar, and dough was just right, making every bite melt in my mouth. For the quality, the price is super reasonable, and I'd absolutely go out of my way to get it again. Whether you're passing through or making a special trip, these cinnamon rolls are 100% worth it!

Yelp
We have heard so many good things about these cinnamon rolls, so we had to stop by when we were in Pismo Beach. The place smells soooo good upon entering. My kids tried the gingerbread roll. Wow! It smelled so good and tasted even better. I got the cream cheese roll, I think this was my favorite. They do offer some rolls with nuts. I didn't try, but they seemed to be very popular. Service was very great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! My kids really enjoyed the penny press in the shop.

Yelp
All I have to say is....HUGE .CINNAMON. ROLLS. Dont miss going to here if you are in town!

Yelp
This bakery is a huge institution at Pismo Beach. I am normally not a huge sweet eater, especially something as sweet and dense as a cinnamon roll. But I wanted to give it a try since it was a specialty in the area. I appreciated that they are not overly huge in size. You can get them plain, with frosting or with frosting on the side. I asked for the most popular roll which was the one with frosting on top. It was definitely on the light side and it was sweet but not cloying. The staff was super nice and there were plenty of tables to enjoy it out in the fresh ocean air.

Yelp
We can't miss the Old West Cinnamon Rolls shop in Pismo when we're in the area. Their cinnamon rolls are delightful; the frosting is delicious, and the bread is soft. We requested that they warm it up for us. The service is quick, and the customer service is excellent! We enjoyed our tasty cinnamon rolls while sitting outside.

Yelp
This place it's always busy!! They have a variety of cinnamon rolls. They have pecan, glazed, cheese, and more. They also have cinnamon rolls bites and some with almonds, some pumpkin too! My family love their cinnamon rolls!! When we come here to Pismo it's a must. The place is always so crowded and they make a long line all day long. They come and go because of the fast service. They are very nice and friendly. They ambiance it's very familiar. Also there is no place to sit inside. There are couple of tables outside. They also sell coffee and prepared flour to make them at home. Highly recommend! Yummy cinnamon Rolls.

Yelp
After seeing this place on some "best of" social media post (can't recall which one" we had to see if it was true. The short answer is yes these cinnamon rolls are the real deal! Light and fluffy with a wonderful cream cheese frosting that you don't mind licking off your fingers. Service is pretty good and there is a little mercantile inside where you can buy tee shirts or coffee cups to remember your visit by. A 6 pack of frosted rolls plus one almond roll will cost you around 36 bucks or so... there is a charge for credit card use so plan for that. Would we recommend stopping in? Absolutely yes!

Yelp
Was craving something sweet, this is the go to spot in Pismo beach. Their deserts are so bomb, definitely will full you up and have some leftover. They're super generous with the frosting they ain't stingy. The employees are always kind, so overall great place.

Yelp
These rolls are truly amazing! My favorite cinnamon roll was the apple without adding any frosting or other toppings. It was like eating apple pie but better! It's best to come here with an empty stomach because the rolls are pretty big. The service is great! Everyone is happy and friendly. We were driving in from LA and placed an order ahead of time which they happily accommodated. They also have some other items in the store for purchase and a couple tables and chairs out front. I'm glad we bought extras to freeze!
google avatar

Mary Ann P.

Yelp
We've been to this location many times while passing through to get to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. However, we were quite disappointed with the level of service and product. We ordered the regular cinnamon rolls, orange juice and water. When we ordered the cinnamon rolls we were unaware that it would not have frosting so that was unpleasant. Mind you we were not even offered this option. Then when we took our first bite, it tasted stale and hard to chew. Needless to say we did not eat the rest. Perhaps it would be better in the morning as we came at lunch? Regardless it was disappointing to look forward to eating it and then not finding it edible.
google avatar

Elaine H.

Yelp
Maybe I'm just getting old, but I love the original cinnamon rolls. There's so much buttery goodness with just the sugar and the cinnamon-y goodness that gets lost when the frosting covers the roll, but def get it on the side and do a rip and dip situation. And with a cup of hot coffee, you can't go wrong!
google avatar

Edwin R.

Yelp
I honestly don't even know how to put into words how good these are. Old West has been in my Yelp bucket list a while and I finally made it. I was not disappointed. I got the pumpkin spice and maple bacon cinnamon rolls to get my autumn on! Obviously I couldn't finish them so brought the rest home. The staff were friendly and super helpful, I had my dog with me and he got some lovin from the staff. Just a really refreshing place.

Yelp
Holy cow. If you love fresh, soft, cinnamon rolls do NOT miss this place! We spent the day in Pismo and, while walking around, smelled the warm cinnamon from a block away. There was a line out the door but it moved quickly. I asked the woman in front of me in line for suggestions and she told me her faves and said to get the cream cheese icing on the side. That was great advice. We got a pecan roll and a cinnamon apple roll with the classic cream cheese icing on the side. There was more than enough icing in the to go cup for our two rolls plus leftover. Next time were up there, we will definitely stop in again and try some of their other flavors!
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
I was hoping for warm, gooey cinnamon rolls full of flavor, but these fell short. They were firmer than I'd like and lacked the rich, sweet cinnamon taste I expected. Not bad, but not great either.
google avatar

Shayla B.

Yelp
I will make this statement once, so you better listen up: You cannot... can... NOT come to Pismo Beach without getting a cinnamon roll from here. Do you hear me?! Because I did not stutter, folks! Do NOT miss out on these cinnamon rolls! Bite the bullet and wait in that damn line. The time spent waiting is nothing compared to how you will feel after you take your first bite of cinnamon roll luxury. Possibly one of the best cinnamon rolls that I have ever had in my life. Okay, lemme cut the BS. It IS the best one that I've had. The BEST-est bay-beh!!! When you talk about warm, rich, moist and ooey gooey. The perfect chewiness and temperature. Melting away in your mouth with each and every bite. A little bit of savory and a lotta bit of sweetness. Caramelized pecans over warm folds that hold the most sticky yet delightful buttered sugar. Mm mm MMM! Deeeelicious! It's one of them thangs that'll make your eyes roll to the back of your head upon consumption. You betta look both ways before you cross this street because it'll be sure to cause an accident... of absolute addiction. And the many different cinnamon roll choices won't help at ALL! You will want to try them all! Trust! But I will say, I have a soft spot in my heart for the pecan roll. Something about candied pecans on a a hot cinnamon roll bun just gets me every damn time. Nonetheless, you will enjoy practically any flavor because you really can't go wrong. As I mentioned before, there will be long waits. This is a popular Pismo institution, so the long lines come with the territory. BUT... it's worth it folks! Parking is limited so I'd recommend parking a few blocks down in the neighborhood and then going for a nice walk there to burn some "before the gluttony" calories. Also can't forget to mention that one cinnamon roll is HUGE and totally shareable. But if you're like me, try to tackle that bad boy all by yourself because it's kind of hard to share something that's this damn good. Enjoy it!

Yelp
Occasionally you gotta take the opportunity to feed that part of yourself that deserves to indulge in a baked good the size of your face. Enter this spot. We came on a Tuesday afternoon & found only a smattering of people there. Customer service was fine. It's an aged, humble shop--outside is a bench, some chairs, some tables. Inside, some merchandise, a penny souvenir machine, an order counter...& a case of glorious cinnamon rolls!!! We got 3 cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting. Yes, all the hype. They were the best darn cinnamon rolls! So big! The stuff of dreams! And so reasonably priced to boot!! Sink your teeth into the soft, warm pillow of doughy goodness, the sweetness of the thick, slathered on frosting, the cinnamon swirls of flavor. Let out a sigh & enjoy a moment when all is right. Mmm... Just say a resounding yes to this place.
google avatar

Yvonne F.

Yelp
This spot was our last place to check out before we headed home. There was a line out the door, but luckily the line moved fast. The employees were quick and knew what they were doing. We got a maple bacon cinnamon roll and a walnut cinnamon roll with added frosting on top. The maple bacon was such an interesting flavor of sweet and savory, it was delicious. The walnut was sweet with a rich flavor from the nuts. Surprisingly, the rolls weren't as soft and pillowy as I would like them to be, someone did say to microwave them for 20 seconds and it'll taste better. The shop itself is small with items you could buy from the brand, it does have a cozy ambiance about it.
google avatar

Lori R.

Yelp
After spending 3 days in Pismo Beach we stopped here at 7 am on our way back to San Diego. My sister and I each chose the Pecan Bun. Honestly we could have shared one but I don't want to fight her later for a snack. When I say it has the perfect ratio of sugar to dough I'm not kidding. These are light, fluffy and full of flavor. My only issue would be more "sticky sugar" on top to hold the pecans on top. Too many fell off. But they are scrumptious!
google avatar

Victoria B.

Yelp
Was really excited about this place since I read about it in an article. Ended up rather disappointed though. Maybe they were too old by 5pm when I got them? Cinnamon rolls were rather dry & dense. Admittedly, there was a good amount of pecans & the maple spread was good, not cloyingly sweet (just very sweet) & they put the bacon on the side.
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
I ordered the bacon cream cheese cinnamon roll! The smell of the cinnamon rolls are baked fresh daily! They're soft and have a chew. The bacon pieces helped add a crunch and a saltiness. The cream cheese can be overwhelming for some people, so you may ask for it on the side. There are multiple registers ready to take your order. Each roll is about 4.50-5.50 a piece. They have certain deals if you buy more pieces. It is like a donut bakery inside, but for cinnamon rolls. It's near the beach and the weather is nice and cool. Free parking is limited on the street, but there is a paid lot across the street available.
google avatar

Desirée K. H.

Yelp
These cinnamon rolls are insane!! The cream cheese frosting isn't too sweet and the loaded toasted nuts really take it to the next level. I tried the walnut, almond and pecan. Almond was my favorite! You will find frozen take home cinnamon rolls too.
google avatar

Erica M.

Yelp
The building inside is a bit old but it adds to the name OLD WEST cinnamon rolls. Came by excited to try this place based off the reviews, however I was a bit disappointed. We ordered the almond cinnamon roll with frosting and the original cinnamon roll with frosting. Both rolls were definitely not fresh. They were lukewarm at best and the taste was just okay.
google avatar

Frank P.

Yelp
These have to be the best cinnamon rolls I have found anywhere in my years of pastry-binging. I have never tasted rolls this good. The service is golden brown, warm, and welcoming, with a smile, and the ambiance is that of a rundown vintage donut shop, which would make for a great horror movie set. Five stars
google avatar

Raechel I.

Yelp
A freaking classic! I thought the only place that you could get Old West Cinnamon Rolls was at the fair. Not true, this is the spot! If you are looking for a delicious sweet breakfast, grab yourself a cinnamon roll. As soon as walk up, the smell of sweet cinnamon rolls takes over. The shop is small but had a homey feel. My son and I watched the bakers while we waited in line. I personally like the maple bacon but also had to get a classic. The line was long. The service was fast and friendly.
google avatar

Isabella M.

Yelp
The line was extremely long but the wait was fairly fast. The rolls were very good and priced well. I would definitely recommend going if your in pismo. My favorite out of them all was the cream cheese and walnut.

Yelp
Glory Roll Serving up homemade doughy goodness since 1972, Old West Cinnamon Rolls is considered my some to be the best cinnamon rolls in the country. We had passed by this place many times on our travel up and down the Central Coast, but never made time to get some--and boy, were we missing out! The Good: *Despite all the hype and race reviews, they still don't disappoint. I found them to be not as sweet as you'd think looking at them but had great texture, flavor, and cinnamony goodness. *The older lady (didn't catch her name) working the counter was my kind of gal. Sweet, sassy, and full of piss and vinegar. Every restaurant needs one of her. *Carissa got a latte, and she said it was surprisingly good. *At less than $5/ea, they are a good value as one of these bad boys with a glass of cold milk, and your appetite is done and dusted. *Street and lot parking available *You're only a stone's throw from the Pismo Beach Pier *Lots of SWAG for sale, as well. The Meh: *Carissa claimed the interior was a "little dusty," but I honestly could care less and didn't really notice tbh. Just give me the rolls, and nobody gets hurt! The Ugly: *Whatever you do, don't show your cardiologist this video: https://youtu.be/jTp_s5xHbMQ?si=-DQt96VqauI_AK9c Conclusion: If you like cinnamon rolls, then be prepared to be ruined for life. I dare say that maybe only the Pennsylvania Amish might be the only ones that could compete with these bad boys, and they ain't nowhere to be found here in Pismo.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Good people solid cinnamon roles. Excellent latte. Super friendly staff. We came on a Wednesday morning and there was no line. Lucky us. I've heard this place can really get backed up. No inside seating and just a few on the outside. Certainly a nice lace to check out if you love cinnamon rolls. Many topping options. We went with just the scrumptious roll and no toppings. It was delicious. Prices are very fair. Certainly will repeat when in the area
google avatar

Michiko L.

Yelp
Line was out the door on the weekend but no line during a weekday morning. So good I had to go back for more to take home. Friendly, helpful service. Go early...they run out!
google avatar

Nika S.

Yelp
Okay I'm not a cinnamon roll kind of person but stumbled upon this place sort of by accident. Oh my goodness, it is phenomenal. We got a black coffee because the rolls are really sweet and they complimented each other beautifully. Will be happy to recommend this place to my friends .

The Truth T.

Yelp
The best! Loved this place since stopping here on the bike ride of sf to la. So many options. We love to split one since they are so big
google avatar

Hnin T.

Yelp
Stopped by this local cinnamon roll shop and it was so good. The service was nice and the ambiance felt like it was very loved by the locals. It's definitely a must come if u love cinnamon rolls and want to support local businesses. The cream cheese was so creamy and it was a great add on to the original cinnamon roll.
google avatar

Karla G.

Yelp
THE BEST CINNAMON ROLL I'VE EVER HAD. The end. This was our first time in Pismo and saw this place as a must visit and I'm so glad we did. Definitely lived up to its hype & such a sweet treat!
google avatar

Leo C.

Yelp
After having breakfast at Beachin Biscuit down the street, we decided to check out Old Town Cinnamon Rolls. This is has been on my bookmark for quite sometime now, so way overdue. There's plenty of parking space along the streets and public parking lot across. Place was packed when we arrived and line was out the door. Truly amazing place....they have a great selection of cinnamon rolls like cherry crumb, apple pie, several nuts options, and traditional cream cheese icing. Rolls cost about $5 and are huge. We got pecan and almond cinnamon rolls. Rolls are simply sublime and scrumptious. They're served warm and they really pack on the nuts. Soft chewy and sweet, the nuts provided scrumptious complement. Outdoor seating was full...we ended up eating them in the parking lot. Perfect road side snack. Highly recommend checking them out when you're in Pismo Beach. Yummerz!
google avatar

Beth V.

Yelp
Wonderful service! Always have an enjoyable experience here! When you approach the door the wave of cinnamon goodness greets you
google avatar

Clayton M.

Yelp
Line to the door when we came early on a Sunday morning. We just got one roll to try it since we had already eaten breakfast, with the frosting on the side. They're pretty small so you should definitely get your own, instead of splitting. The rolls are flavorful enough that you don't need frosting to make it worth while, but the frosting is of course good as well! If you're gonna get the frosting, I'd recommend just getting it on top because it just makes it harder to eat with the frosting on the side. They're so cheap--if you're ever in Pismo, how could you not get one to try?
google avatar

Kristi M.

Yelp
About $30 for 9 cinnamon rolls and a tub of gooey delicious cream cheese frosting. I love these cinnamon rolls because they aren't those doughy globs like at Cinnabon. They have a sugary crisp topping and when you flip on the frosting....so good. Fast service at 7:30 even though they were already hopping! Outside tables for you and your dog, which we love!
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
Food: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 My husband raved about these and so I thought these would be pillowy and warm and gooey in the best way, but when we placed our order, they gave us the coldest and hardest cinnamon rolls ever? I was so confused because we watched them make a huge fresh batch in front of us, but it looked like the ones they served customers were not fresh and had been sitting out for a while. Why not at least keep them in warm trays? I saw some comments saying that they taste best when you go home and microwave them, but isn't the point to have a warm delicious cinnamon roll on the spot? Disappointed for sure.
google avatar

Sonu N.

Yelp
The smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls wafts out of this place -- yummmm! It has a vintage ambiance . It was such a treat trying out the sweet heavenly goodies. The original is excellent but I loved the roll with nuts even more. Service was friendly and pretty quick in mid afternoon. I will be dreaming about these cinn rolls for awhile!
google avatar

Joyce B.

Yelp
Whenever we go to or go through Pismo, we make the time to stop for a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. The cinnamon rolls are HUGE and served warm and tasty. The service is quick and there can be a line out the door on summer weekends. It's worth the wait! Just passing by, your nose picks up the delicious scent of fresh out of the oven cinnamon rolls!Mmmmmm
google avatar

Leeann M.

Yelp
Visited on the recommendation of a few people. Arrived on a Monday morning around 7 and there was a short line already. Not a bad wait, though. The woman helping us was very friendly. They were out of the mudslide even though they'd opened less than an hour before. We ended up getting the cream cheese rolls and a regular roll with frosting on the side we saved for later. Large rolls, reasonable priced. Unfortunately both of our cream cheese rolls were a bit hard. So much so that we had to each toss half of the rolls. Maybe they'd been sitting there? We ended up eating the plain roll two days later and somehow that tasted better! We had microwave access though, so maybe heating them up was the trick.
google avatar

Elaine S.

Yelp
So disappointing ‼ Drove from Ventura to try these beauties arrived about 3:00 pm asked for the rolls to be heated. Server prepared the rolls put them in the box and then placed them in the microwave for about 5 seconds. Sat outside to enjoy them. To our surprise the rolls were cold and the frosting even more. Like it just came out of the cooler. So disappointing. The line was long to come back in. We packed up and left. Not the experience we were looking. Let alone the drive to be disappointed. Frosting was so cold didn't even drip as it should on a hot roll. Rolls were hard fork almost broke while pulling it
google avatar

Gina S.

Yelp
Got here at 8:00 am on a Sunday and luckily the line was shortish. We ordered two rolls with cream cheese frosting. They pack it in a nice sturdy to go box which was nice. I assumed the cinnamon rolls would have been hot and fresh but weirdly enough, they were not. They weren't super soft either. The flavor was spot on however. I think heating them up would be key. Also ordered a vanilla flavored cappuccino which was made really well. Service was pretty fast considering how busy they were.

Yelp
We went today and ordered the walnut, original, maple bacon and almond cinnamon rolls so that we could try a variety. I really wanted the maple bacon and although they were all delicious, it was our least favorite. Definitely get the original it is nothing short of amazing!!

Yelp
Old West Cinnamon Roll has been a Pismo Beach staple for many decades. The service is great and fast. There is usually a line during summer and weekends. They have now extended their hours to stay open later. The cinnamon rolls are big, sweet, and have a crunchy exterior. I got a regular/original cinnamon roll with frosting. Their frosting is a sweet cream cheese frosting. Very good but super sweet. I don't mind though. It would be even better if it was heated up a little bit more, when heated. Overall, it's a must if you are in the area or visiting.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday around 5:40 with my family as we were told this was a must try while in Pismo. There was a little bit of a line, but it went quickly. We ordered eight cinnamon rolls and got the ninth one free, service was good and the staff was friendly. We tried all of the cinnamon rolls they offered and they were all delicious. I really liked the one with cream cheese frosting. Inside the store, they sell a mix to make the cinnamon rolls at home. They also have a penny press machine inside the store as well as different knickknacks for sell. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Yelp
We went on a Saturday morning while exploring pismo beach and there was a line, so we figured these had to be good. The cinnamon rolls were huge- we shared 2 between 8 ppl. I loved the original. It was soft flakey, but not too sweet and perfect amount of cinnamon. We also got the maple bacon one which I love maple and bacon, but personally liked the original best. They were reasonably priced, $5.50-6.50. The place was busy, we took ours to go.
