This charming winery, nestled in northern Maryland, offers a delightful array of wines complemented by appetizers, pizzas, desserts, and signature coffee drinks. During my multiple visits, I've consistently observed the bustling atmosphere, emphasizing the need for reservations.
Recently, my friends and I decided to explore the winery as part of our event planning for later in the year. Our primary goal was to savor the wines, pizzas, and desserts. The seating options intrigued us: a private members' area, verandah spots, and cozy enclosed tents. Opting for a tent, we found it comfortably accommodating for our group of four. The portable heaters within the tent were a welcome relief from the chilly rain outside.
For our wine selection, we opted for the Trio and Albariño. Additionally, we indulged in the "Just the Fans" flight, which treated us to Malbec, Rosé, and a blanc. The wines were delightful, although the pesto on the arugula pizza leaned slightly lighter than our expectation. We encountered a minor hiccup with the pizza--a tiny bug on the first attempt and an unsliced replacement--but the apologetic server promptly rectified the situation and even removed it from the bill.
To conclude our memorable visit, we savored the "Dulce de Leches" alongside range macchiato and tuxedo latte. The orange macchiato stood out as a personal favorite, while the tuxedo latte skewed a tad too sweet for my taste, though my friends thoroughly enjoyed it.
Overall, this winery offers an enchanting experience--a perfect setting to create lasting memories with loved ones. Keep in mind that reservations come with a fee, and our cozy tent incurred an additional $65 charge. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting or staying nearby.
