I surprised my mom with a visit to Old Westminster Winery as her Christmas gift. We love going to wineries as a family and Old Westminster had been on my list for a long time. Its marketing specifically on social media is so clean, chic, and sophisticated. Once they started prepping for the colder seasons and set up their greenhouses, I knew I needed to book one. We ordered many glasses of wine, including a few flights, and lots of shared plates. You cannot go wrong with any of the food. I personally preferred the red wine but I don't really drink white to begin with. My siblings and dad who did drink white thought it was delicious, even buying a few bottles as we left. The service was fantastic. Three hours in the greenhouse was also the perfect amount of time. The whole winery is gorgeous and secluded. The story about the family is also very beautiful and inspiring. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We were coming to check out the location in hopes of having our very small wedding in their event space. We wanted to try a decent amount of the food off of the event menu and it did not disappoint!! It was so beautiful and the food was amazing. When we mentioned we were looking for an event the women walking us to our table immediately sent out their event manager, Kenzie, to greet us at our table. She was so sweet and very helpful, she even wrote down all of her information for me and my fiance to reach out with questions. Our server was so sweet and told us about the siblings who own the winery and how they try to source all of their food from the brother’s farm or at least all from MD. All of the food was so fresh and every staff member we interacted with was so friendly. We are so looking forward to having our wedding there ❤️

5/5 place to celebrate any special dates and come with friends to eat and drink some wine. Celebrated my wedding with the family and have been there with friends during the winter! The little shacks you can rent make you experience very cozy and intimate. The food is great. I love the pizzas all of them are worth trying! Their wine is tasteful and well priced. Every time we good is a great experience. Prices are super reasonable!!

We rented a greenhouse and loved the experience. Some of the best wine in Maryland, phenomenal staff, and a beautiful location. We loved the food. The price of the wine is great. We brought our own cake and the staff went above and beyond by offering to keep it in a fridge until needed. The greenhouses have heaters and fans so you can get the temperature you want. Everyone agreed it’s somewhere we have to go again!

We shared a green house experience together! I brought my friends all the way from Baltimore County and it did not disappoint. This was their first time on the farm and my second! As always, it’s an entire experience of the senses! We loved it so much! It’s private, it’s magical, and the service is top notch! Thank you for an amazing experience once again! We will be back!

Yelp
Old Westminster is my favorite winery in all of MD. I came to celebrate my birthday with friends in one of the summer cabanas. Reserving the cabana was done online, with a small fee. It can hold up to 6 people. Our waitress was helpful and informative of the various wine and food selections. We decided to order a board, couple of bottles, a handful of pizzas and desserts to share. I love their brick oven pizzas! It's made well, light, fresh ingredients and yummy. I love this winery because of its good food, wine selection, flight options, great service, easy parking situation, well constructed structures to sit in and picturesque! Also pet-friendly if you want to bring your furry friends.

Yelp
I've been to Westminster Winery many times at different times of year and it's always a blast. The wine is great, service is great, and we love the pizza. I came on a Friday night in February, renting a greenhouse with my girlfriends. We had server Casey and she was awesome. We each got flights and split some pizzas. The greenhouse is so cozy and has little heaters in it. The flights are about $30 so not cheap but tasty and change all the time. I love the pizza - is crispy and has great toppings. We stayed in the greenhouse for about 3 hours and had a blast. In the summer, it's a lovely outdoor space too. Plentiful free parking on site. I wish there were more restrooms (only 2 stalls!) and more food options besides pizza - it makes it hard to come more often. I also wish they had some more sides. Overall, it's a beautiful winery with great wine and could be great for all kinds of events!!

Nicolette T.

Yelp
I cannot recommend this spot enough. I came by today with my family. I have been wanting to come for years, but never seemed to find the right time! After making a reservation in advance, I was able to book a greenhouse for my family. The service was top tier. From start to finish, we were greeted warmly and directed to our greenhouse. And the service was friendly and kind. Despite our large group, slightly chaotic and filled with kids, our server was incredibly friendly. The ambiance inside was wonderful! So intimate with beautiful decor. And the menu was lovely. Filled with delicious and seasonal bites. I wish there were a couple more kid friendly options, however I get it with the ambiance of a winery! Highly, highly recommend this for a nice outing with a group!

Mary K.

Yelp
Another great trip to the winery. We tried a bunch of great food off their menu and had a great time! We stayed in the lounge greenhouse which offered a nice amount of space so for 5 people we weren't crowded at all. The table is maybe a little small with all the glasses and decor but you make it work. We tried the bacon and mushroom and pear and prosciutto pizzas along with the charcuterie board and glazed carrots. Everything was fantastic.

Kanydah S.

Yelp
Grab your girlfriends and head to this gorgeous and beautifully hidden winery. My goodness! Where can I begin with this fabulous winery!? The food was fantastic the brick over pizza tasted phenomenally. And the gluten free option was fantastic. We order a couple pizzas to share among us for the table. The mocktails were delicious and my friends enjoyed their wine . If you are looking for a mini girls getaway this is the oasis for you . Can't wait to visit again with my girls.

If you want to experience great food, winery and scenery then this is the place to be. I'm a club member and I vouch for this place. Make your reservations now!

Yelp
Love when I am pleasantly surprised by an experience. This winery was impressive. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The individual seating areas allowed for an intimate and exciting atmosphere for conversation. Though it was outside it was very warm and comfortable. The wine was very unique and they had a little something for all wine lovers. The brick oven pizza was the perfect light meal for a three out tasting. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
If you're traveling from the DC area, be ready for a driveeee to get out to the Old Westminster Winery but just know that it will be worth it once you arrive. The winery is breathtaking when you arrive and a very relaxing experience. It looks like they newly renovated the outside and whoever came up with the design... shout out to you. You did your big one. There are small outdoor spaces (maybe 12) where you can dine outside with up to 10 guests without being in the sun. They had pumpkins and fall decorations scattered throughout. There's even a little event space off to the side that looks like it would be beautiful for a wedding. The wine itself I thought was ok here. The only thing that I would've gotten again was one of their rose's. Everything else was either too sweet or I was just not a fan (their orange wine). I ordered the sausage and onion pizza and thought it was kind of mid and lacked seasoning. There are plenty other wine and food option so maybe there are some other gems that I have yet to try here. I thought the service was pretty good, everyone was friendly. I'm not sure that I would seek out another visit to Old Westminster Winery but would definitely visit again if I were in the area. Thank you!

Yelp
Wow, This was my first time experiencing a Maryland winery and I must tell you.. it is a MUST DO!!! We made a reservation about a month in advance, because this winery is highly rated and tends to book up pretty quickly. We were seated in the outdoor pavilion area during the late evening and it was perfect. Everything from the service / staff to the food and wine was amazing! I throughly enjoyed every bit of the experience. It is quite a drive from the metro area, but well worth it. There's tons of on site parking. Their food menu isn't extensive, but there are a variety of pizzas and apps to choose from. I truly believe that you can't go wrong with anything that you choose from the menu. I highly recommend!!!

Yelp
This place so peaceful and relaxing. Nestled in the hills and valleys of Carroll Co. I booked a cabana for an early Sunday afternoon. When we checked in at the hostess stand, we were immediately escorted to our cabana by a very friendly staff. The cabana can seat up to 6 guest. There are fans in the cabana to help keep guest cool. I think the cabanas may be somewhat sound proof because we could not hear any conversation coming from the surrounding occupied units. They have a very extensive wine selection, of course....its a winery. The food and drink menu is in a cute little vintage leather cover. We opted to try the fruit and cheese board with added prosciutto, prosciutto and pineapple pizza, and the strawberry basil donut. Everything thing was delicious. As for the wine we did the summer seasonal flight to start. We ended up ordering a bottle of the Honey which was the third selection in the seasonal flight. I'm looking forward to booking another cabana in the early fall. The cool breeze and the fall foliage will make for a beautiful afternoon.

Yelp
The aesthetic is awesome. Lovely heated outdoor greenhouses. The service was above and beyond they have so many servers and management actively checking on you, you won't go without anything. The food came out very fast. We got almost everything on the menu lol .... All farm to table which is always fresh and delicious. Lots of gluten free options. My only hang up was there no wine tastings at all which I feel is a disservice to the winery because tastings lead to buying bottles in which none of us bought a bottle ..... I did try the classic flight in which I enjoyed the 3 wines but not enough to look for them afterward to purchase. I then ordered an old fashion which was more ice than old fashion. The pizzas were absolutely delicious I tried the hot honey pepperoni and prosciutto and pear ..... 10/10. I also order the mushroom soup it was good just wish I had more mushrooms they were just a few as garnish. I do recommend it's a lovely gathering spot or date location. Just be prepared to blind buy the wine you're going to drink ....

Yelp
According to their website, Old Westminster Winery is a family agriculture business established in 2010. In addition to the wines they grow and produce on their farm, they offer wood-fired pizzas made with the best local ingredients, curated cheese & charcuterie boards, salads, soups, and baked goods. Standout wines for me include the 1) 2023 Albariño, made from their local 100% Albariño grapes, is a very light and dry finish with hints of peach, apricot, and grapefruit and 2) 2023 Honey, a blend of 60% Voigner, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Chardonel grapes sweetened with locally grown wildflower honey. Needless to say, this wine was subtly sweet with strong flavors of honey, peaches, and lemon curd. Both wines pair well with a light summer salad or a grilled fish/poultry meal. Overall a great experience!

Yelp
I understand why this winery is so popular! I went for a friends birthday dinner after having it on my list for a while. She rented one of the larger gathering greenhouses for her party and it was so beautiful! You are able to reserve for up to 30 people and have a prefixed food and drink menu for your guests. The service was great; the waiters and waitresses checked on us frequently. I truly had a lovely experience! Whether going to have a larger party or a small evening out, you'll enjoy it. Reservations are recommended.

Kenyetta C.

Yelp
We were able to have the greenhouse experience while visiting the Old Westminster Winery. We came during the evening so it was extremely dark. The parking area could benefit having a light of some sort. The inside of the building was nice. It was a rustic vibe but not old looking. The mushroom soup was delicious and the pizza was good. Our waiter was extremely nice and helpful. I'd definitely come back but during the day.

Yelp
We love a local Marlyand wine with actually good wines! My friend has been a member here for a few years now, and this was my second time to visit. We ended up going on the HOTTEST day of summer so far and while it was 100 degrees outside, we had a lovely time sweating and drinking wine. Someone did pass out and an ambulance had to get called so we got ice soaked towels. You do need to make a reservation to visit, so make sure you book this before you make the drive! Old Westminster gives all the shiplap and cursive vibes of the 2015s era but it works. I find it charming and adorable. My friend has driven us both times as it's quite a trek from the city, a little under an hour. The drive is stunning to the area though, very verdant and it's really fun in the winter as they have those plastic igloo houses with blankets. The wines here a little on the pricier side to I guess make up for the cost. The bottles are around $40+ unless you get the piquette, which is made from the scraps of winemaking, which is actually lovely for $28. The food here is so good - the pizzas are stunning. We love the mushroom and the prosciutto and pineapple. The Mediterranean was a miss for me, it was too much sauce and the bottom was too soggy for me to enjoy it. The salads are also solid, we loved the caesar, super crunchy pieces of romaine with a delicious crouton dressing. They do have such fun coffee drinks here and I have yet to get one! I do love their whites and their pet nats are always solid. We loved the pet nat chardonnay this year, and if you're a member you get free flights of wines, so we benefitted from my friend's membership. Old Westminster does make a wine with Cookhouse now, and I cannot wait to try it! A must visit for those getting out of the city!

Elyse E.

Yelp
My only complaint about this place is that it's not closer to NoVa, so I can't go as often as I'd like! We went here for our anniversary and were very impressed by the food, wine, and ambiance. We had to make a reservation quite a bit ahead of time, so I am not sure how it would work to try and get a table without one - I think it would be difficult, as they are so popular. We were seated in their heated, semi-outdoor space attached to the main winery sales room, and had a little couch area to ourselves. We each got flights, which I thought were very generous pour-wise, especially compared to some other DMV area wineries. We then each got an additional glass, and took home two bottles after the meal - the Pepper and the Salt, which are their red and white blends. Both were reasonably priced. The food was excellent - we got a variety of apps to split and then the corn and poblano pizza, which was incredible. It tasted very farm-to-table and was very seasonal, meaning their menu has probably already changed in the few weeks since we were there - but I think I would recommend almost anything off of this menu. We'll definitely be back with friends to book one of their little private outdoor spaces. I can't wait to try it!

Yelp
Old Westminster Winery has been on our list for a while. We originally weren't able to celebrate a friend's birthday in a cabana due to them closing for bad weather, and this was our make up for that. The cabana's have more than enough space and we were able to seat 6 comfortably. Be warned there are a bit of bugs flying around, but the cabana's have a fan and once we turned that one our food and drinks were no longer a target. We tried so many items from the wine flights, cheese board, hummus plate, salads, pizzas, desserts. Everything was amazing and had good flavor. The wine was good and the other cocktails they make, like the pumpkin espresso martini are all amazing. It is a bit of a journey to get there from DC, but it is well worth the visit.

Saebin J.

Yelp
The greenhouses are SO CUTE!! I loved getting a little private spot to celebrate early valentine's day. The greenhouses are perfect for a date night or a girl's winery trip. The pizza was mid in my opinion hench 4 stars but the hummus bowl (portion was huge) and the leek soup was pretty good. Service was great. Our waitor came to check up on us very frequently. Almost too frequently haha. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience!

Dakota M.

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful experience. The seasonal menu had some heavy hitters. My absolute favorites were the Honey Chèvre Toasts (goat cheese YUM!) and the Sun Dried Tomato & Arugula Pizza (we ordered another before even finishing the first). The Hummus Bowl gets an honorable mention. We probably couldn't have gone wrong with anything we ordered. Everything was fresh and we enjoyed it all. Everyone at the winery was kind and attentive which makes the service five stars! We had a wonderful evening celebrating my best friend.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come to Old West for forever now! I finally came by with my friend in early October to celebrate our birthdays. It's important to note that reservations are highly suggested and it's a pretty far drive from Baltimore city (about 50 minutes). We were seated outside on the covered patio which was a little chilly, but luckily they supplied blankets. Nice touch! The service was pretty friendly and attentive. We each got flights so we could try a fair amount of wine. I got a mixed flight and preferred the whites over the reds. The reds were a bit too bold for me however, the Albariño ended up being my favorite by far. They also have a sparkling Albariño which was even better. I was pleased to find out they offer gluten free pizza, since the wood-fired pizza is famous here. However, the gluten free crust left A LOT to be desired. It was almost like a communion wafer with sauce and cheese on it. However, the macarons were delicious and I'd get those again, for sure. Overall, this spot is absolutely gorgeous and a welcome escape from the city. I will definitely be back.

Donyiel C.

Yelp
Great winery! Highly recommended! Visited yesterday with some girlfriends, and it was apparently "National Drink Wine Day." Woot!! Reservations are needed in advanced and I mean months in advance. A reservation fee is required. It's definitely worth the visit! I've been wanting to come here for months! Ample on-site parking. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thanks Diana and Jenn! We got very warm in our greenhouse. Maybe I shouldn't have worn such a thick sweater! I enjoyed the "Just For Fun" flight, and it was pretty good. We ended up getting a bottle of the terracotta and the albarino. Food options aren't extensive but decent for a winery. Most of us got pizzas. There's charcuterie and other apps. The potato leek soup was popular with our group. At the end we got coffees and teas to go! I can't wait to visit here again. Perhaps for a date next time. Going to make a reservation now!!

Yelp
This charming winery, nestled in northern Maryland, offers a delightful array of wines complemented by appetizers, pizzas, desserts, and signature coffee drinks. During my multiple visits, I've consistently observed the bustling atmosphere, emphasizing the need for reservations. Recently, my friends and I decided to explore the winery as part of our event planning for later in the year. Our primary goal was to savor the wines, pizzas, and desserts. The seating options intrigued us: a private members' area, verandah spots, and cozy enclosed tents. Opting for a tent, we found it comfortably accommodating for our group of four. The portable heaters within the tent were a welcome relief from the chilly rain outside. For our wine selection, we opted for the Trio and Albariño. Additionally, we indulged in the "Just the Fans" flight, which treated us to Malbec, Rosé, and a blanc. The wines were delightful, although the pesto on the arugula pizza leaned slightly lighter than our expectation. We encountered a minor hiccup with the pizza--a tiny bug on the first attempt and an unsliced replacement--but the apologetic server promptly rectified the situation and even removed it from the bill. To conclude our memorable visit, we savored the "Dulce de Leches" alongside range macchiato and tuxedo latte. The orange macchiato stood out as a personal favorite, while the tuxedo latte skewed a tad too sweet for my taste, though my friends thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, this winery offers an enchanting experience--a perfect setting to create lasting memories with loved ones. Keep in mind that reservations come with a fee, and our cozy tent incurred an additional $65 charge. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting or staying nearby.

Yelp
I am so excited to write this review! This place is somewhere I've been wanting to visit for a while. I found them on Google, then Yelp, and most important to some... Instagram. Unlike some establishments, this place looks exactly the same as it looks online, probably even better! They have a superconvenient parking lot right there at the winery. The winery is easy to find and has a welcoming entrance. There's a hostess stand as soon as you enter. That's where Kenzie greeted our party of 4 and was very nice. She took us to our gorge reserved table on the patio. Diane came over to greet us. 30 minutes later, Dawn took over. We had plenty of food and beverage options to choose from. I did a double order of the bread for the table, and we each ordered wine flights. I love the way our table person came out and explained a lot to us, and then when our wine person (AJ) brought the wine over to us, he explained the wines as well. - 2 Flights of: Just Whites (2022 After Hours, 2022 Salt, 2022 Trio) - Artisanal Bread - Glass: Trio - Flight: Just the Faves (2022 Albariño, Tapestry 77th Edition, 2020, Cabaret Franc) All of the wine options were impressively good. Amazing quality of taste. I didn't really get a chance to eat food items there, as I'm allergic to almost everything on the menu. The menu was seasonal, and I'm looking forward to next season's menu being more kind to me. Either way, I'm definitely returning. The customer service by Kenzie, Diane, Dawn and AJ was remarkable. Highly highly recommended!

Yelp
Had a great time at Old Westminste Winery! I came here on a Sunday with some girlfriends. Please make your reservations in advance as they were booked! Great service from Erin. I had pizza and macarons. I also had wine which was nice. There are the cutest little igloos for outdoor seating when it's cold. Would recommend and return.

Lauren ..

Yelp
This was my first time here and overall it was wonderful ! The servers are friendly and check in on you enough and are very knowledgeable ! The wines were good and had a good variety ! The food was fresh and delicious . The only negative was I ordered a dessert to go and when I got home and ready to eat it , it was a Caesar salad . I will be going back and look forward to trying the dessert !

Yelp
Truly loved my experience at Old Westminster Winery. The staff was great and kept the wine and food coming. Everything was extremely timely. I tasted several wines that I liked. The one caveat is that we feel like we drank a lot of wine but didn't get tipsy. I usually don't prefer to drink wine when I go out to eat because I get tipsy/sleepy. Since the here probably won't get you tipsy or sleepy, if you are someone who doesn't like how wine makes them feel, perhaps you may really enjoy their wine. To eat, we all got the sausage and onion pizza. I think a slight change to give it some more flavor would be to add some pepper (or another seasoning or garnish). The glazed cake was pretty good. Not too sweet and more on the drier side. The vanilla macarons were soooo good! I wish I had a bunch. My friends that got the potato and leek soup also enjoyed it. I really liked my experience here and would come back.

Temima N.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here! Note - you do have to make a reservation which is at least $15 for the table. Not a fan of that & wish they just took reservations without charging but it can definitely get busy so I can see why. The service was good - they were definitely checking on us to make sure we had enough cold water on the hot day. I got the Mediterranean pizza & we tried one of the caramel chocolate tarts. Both were good! I had a strawberry mocktail with was ok - glad to see nonalcoholic & caffeinated drinks on the menu. The menu definitely had something for everyone! Loved the vibes - it's an absolutely stunning place & I would go again!

Yelp
This place is absolutely beautiful. My friends and I reserved a holiday greenhouse and had a great time. Natalie, our server, was so sweet and shared the history of the land and the owners' family story. It felt good to support a family business that is dedicated to producing food and wines from local sources without all of the preservatives. Our group of five enjoyed a few flights, mulled wine, pizzas and macaroons. I started with the Just Reds flight and each selection was phenomenal. As good as the flight was, I enjoyed the mulled wine even more! It was like a warm sangria. If we're able to go back soon, I'll probably just stick to the mulled wine. I had the sausage and onion pizza, which I really enjoyed. One of my friends suggested drizzling balsamic glaze on the pizza and that made it even better. We also had the maple macaroons- too sweet for me but they were still pretty good.

Ashley M.

Yelp
My partner and I came here to celebrate her birthday on a chilly November night. I reserved the lounge greenhouse which was enclosed and heated and could have sat up to 4 guests. It was the cutest most intimate space. We enjoyed the potato leek soup, margherita pizza, and the sausage and onion pizza. I like to think of myself of a bit of a pizza connoisseur. This pizza was 10/10. It was the perfect amount of crispy and cheesy with the right amount of sauce. We also had the macaron flight and the chocolate chestnut tart. That was my first time having macarons so I'm not a good person to review those but they aren't my preference. The chocolate tart however was delicious. I love a good mousse or mousse adjacent dessert and this was that with a nice crispy chocolate crust. We sipped on a bottle Ver Juicy bubbly. The notes of flavor from that are as is described, if you like not too sweet but just the right amount of sweet and tart this is for you . Note: to reserve the lounge it costs a non-refundable fee of $35 reserves your greenhouse on the farm for three hours and includes a 20% service gratuity.

Yelp
The Old Westminster Winery after one visit has easily become one of my top 5 vineyards in the D(M)V. It's is a relatively short drive from Washington DC, and you suddenly find yourself in a beautiful setting with picturesque views. We made sure to make a reservation before visiting, and there was also lots of signage reaffirming that all guests must have reservations! So, to avoid disappointment make sure to have a booking. My friend and I both sampled two different wine flights, which were recommended based on your individual preferences. I prefer medium body dry Sauvignon Blancs- and I had the 'Just the Faves' selection which was great. From the seasonal menu, we had the Sumner Salad, the Peach, Burrata and Prosciutto and the Street Corn wood fired pizza. The pizza was the absolute highlight of the meal & a favourite of both of ours. There's nothing more enchanting than a family owned and run vineyard, and you certainly get that feel and vibe at Old Westminster Winery. I'm looking forward to going back again and trying more of their wines on offer.

Yelp
I never imagined spending a rainy day at a winery, but my afternoon at the Old Westminster Winery turned out to be unexpectedly delightful. This cozy establishment offered enclosed tents (with a reservation fee of $65), patio seating, and private areas since indoor seating wasn't available. Reservations are highly recommended; walk-ins may face long waits. We sampled the Trio & Albariño wines, along with a flight of their fan favorites. While the Trio & Albariño leaned toward the sweeter side, they were undeniably tasty. Our food choices included Cacio e Pepe chips and a Caesar salad, both fresh and satisfying. However, the pesto arugula pizza fell short of expectations, and we encountered an unexpected guest--a bug--in our first attempt. Despite the mishaps, the servers were gracious, promptly replacing the pizza (albeit forgetting to slice it the second time), and removing it from our bill. Dessert was a highlight, particularly the Dulce De Leches cake--light and utterly fresh. Our coffee choices, a tuxedo latte and an orange macchiato, offered contrasting experiences; the former was a sweet delight, while the latter packed a robust punch. Despite the pizza incident, the winery's cozy ambiance makes it an ideal venue for intimate gatherings like baby or bridal showers. A definite must-visit in the DMV area!

Yelp
This place was well worth the drive! We had their honey wine which was delicious. It was so good that we took a couple bottles home. The service was outstanding. The cabana was elegant and well decorated. We had such a tremendous time. We definitely will be back.

Yelp
Just Go! Who knew this cute and quaint winery existed?! I booked online about 30 days in advance. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and the waitress went over the origin of the different wines. I am not a drinker but decided to try a trio. I paired the trio of wines with a pizza and salad. The food was excellent and extremely fresh. After the meal, I tried the chocolate tart and coffee. I enjoyed everything. The ambiance is beautiful. The women's bathroom has a changing table - which is important to me because I brought my little one. After dining, we took a stroll along the small walk path. I definitely plan to visit again soon.

Yelp
What an amazing experience. This winery is absolutely pretty. The greenhouse was amazing. We had an awesome time. From the flights to the food to the vineyard to the service and staff. We knew we were going to have a long day with wine and did not want to drive so we hired a driver. Upon arrival we weee already hyped lol. We checked in and was guided to our greenhouse. OMG simply amazing and a wonderful experience. It was decorated with Christmas decor. Our server Florence was amazing. We each ordered a flight. And a bunch of different pizzas and then to sweeten the deal some pumpkin cake. When you see the pics and our faces you will a time wash as by ALL!! Definitely check out this beautiful vineyard.

Yelp
As a wine club member, I come here a lot and the food, wine, and atmosphere never disappoints! The winery changes with seasons, always making it very Instagram worthy. The wine is some of the best natural wine I have had (especially for Maryland) from the whites to the reds you are bound to find something you will like. The wood fired pizza is always delicious and changes flavors with the season. The service will adapt to your needs - slower vs. faster, more attentive vs. not, and is always friendly! Make reservations well in advance as it has very limited openings. Cheers!

Yelp
Everything looked and tasted so good!! All of the staff were kind and helpful. The cute individual table tents are so fun. There isn't any indoor seating though.

Yelp
I've been here a few times this year. The first was over the summer with the ladies. We had such a great time that we decided to do another event for our September birthdays. It's very easy to reserve a date/time via their website. It's about 1.5 hour drive from DC. We were promptly seated outside at one of the open sectioned patios. There was plenty of space between parties. Luckily, it wasn't a packed day. When I tell you the scenery is beautiful!!! We had the best time. The food was amazing and of course the wine selection was plentiful! I thought there was a nice variety of wines to choose from. Deana was our Sommelier. She was the best and the nicest person. We were fortunate to have her with us the second time as well. Listen, book this place! It's perfect for a cozy date spot, girls gathering or a family event. You will not be disappointed. Come dressed photo ready. There so many places perfect for a mini photo shoot. There are a variety of seating options. We loved the enclosed option for a little privacy. But the outside patio area is very comfy, cozy and romantic.

Yelp
Meh, built up high expectations for this place in my head after seeing their IG but left kind of disappointed. The enclosures feel super closed, so if you are in any way claustrophobic don't choose them. Our server took her own dinner break, called us "friends," and was overly casual. Didn't like the idea that all food came out and was passed to us to pass down the table as opposed to being served. Kitchen missed an order for a pizza so they took extra time to make. Not sure who all the people were coming in but it felt like someone was entering every 3 minutes. Wouldn't go back. GF options are a little suspect.

Yelp
Enjoyed spending the afternoon here celebrating a friend's birthday. This place is completely scenic and perfect to sit outside and enjoy the weather. We rented the cabana which reservations are for 3hrs. Our group did a variety of flights and enjoyed Trio wine which we ended up getting bottles afterwards. We also bought pizzas, loaded humus, artisnal bread, peach prosciutto, donuts and coffee. Everything that we got was good but the Street corn pizza, peach, bruschetta and prosciutto deserve special mention. Our server Dawn was attentive and provided great service which enhanced our experience.

Yelp
We visited for a birthday party and utilized one of the outdoor igloos. The interior was decorated cutely. It was a squeeze for 12 people, but not unpleasant. I think everyone enjoyed the charcuterie and flatbread pizzas. We tried various flights and bottles of wine and loved about 75% of them, so that's a win! I took home a case of wine and have especially really enjoyed the terra-cotta and orange wine. Unique, crisp and refreshing. I also really enjoyed pairing the cabernet franc with a pot roast recently. I would definitely come here again. My only "complaint" is they don't do bar service or bar tastings. You have to go sit in an igloo or at a table. I prefer to saddle on up to a bar to do my wine tastings and then purchase a few bottles or glasses to take to a table. I feel the interaction with the bartender is always better and more personable. Then I can leisurely sip my glass at a table. They kind of made a big deal over me wanting to try a handful of wines at the bar so I could compile together a case for purchase. I get it, everyone has their own policies, but it made for purchasing a case of wine a little difficult. I will totally be back to try their other vintages.

Yelp
On a sunny Sunday mid March where the temperature was around mid 60s, it was all pointing towards spending sometime in a greenhouse at the Old Westminster Winery. The charcuterie was delicious with an assortment of cheeses, cured meats, some nuts, and paired with some delicious wine (Not pictured)

Yelp
Had such a lovely afternoon celebrating a birthday here with loved ones. It's worth noting that it's reservations only, so definitely plan ahead with a call. The grounds are breathtaking and nicely appointed with various seating options. Dare I say the most enjoyable part of the experience was the in house made bread. It was so good I think we ordered three loaves! I can't wait to go back to unwind with some delicious wine. Our favorite was "Hilltop" fitting to our 21215 roots.

Yelp
Spent a couple hours in one of the outdoor greenhouses today. What a cute idea! Everyone was so very friendly! The full seasonal menu was available. We started with different flights of wine and added a charcuterie board and a fire roasted pizza. It was wonderful having local cheeses and meats on the board. We topped the day with a flight of 4 macarons. Delicious!!

Yelp
Celebrated my best friend's 25th birthday at Old Westminster Winery and we had such an awesome time! This was everyone in our group's first visit and we were so impressed. The property is BEAUTIFUL and the menu is so fun. The heated greenhouse was the perfect escape from the cold and had such a cozy vibe. We shared a small charcuterie board, donut board, American Pie and Mushroom White Pizza. Everything was phenomenal! My personal favorite bite was the Mushroom White Pizza, the honey drizzle really took it to the next level. We will definitely be back to Old Westminster Winery, we are looking forward to exploring the property in the warmer months!

Yelp
Food, Ambiance and Service was top tier. Both of our waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable. I can say I hope for more choice of food items, but it could be I am a picky eater. We did order several pizzas, salads, charcuterie board and different selections of wine.

Yelp
A+ for Ambiance Expensive experience but that's what you're paying for. $65 to reserve their heated greenhouses with a minimum $150 spend (not including reservation fee). Share with 3-6 friends and it's nothing to rent and meet minimum. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Heat is adjustable and we took our coats, hats and gloves off. Loved the spiked and hot apple cider with adorable clove decoration. Pizza is a tad charred but otherwise good. Flight of Doughnuts board was fun to try - lots of unique ones to try! Chili was yummy! Would recommend for the special occasions

Yelp
We've come here a few times and enjoyed our time. They have plenty of outdoor seating, a few heaters(though I wish they were closer to you vs in the ceiling where the wind takes the heat away) fire pits, and a tent with a farmers market that also does wine tastings. That was nice as we really wanted to try some new wines without getting stuck with a glass of something we didn't like. The wine tasting event was great. Came with decent pours, a charcuterie board per person, and the option to buy other things. They had tapas size pizza or you could get a full pizza from Their brick oven(which is tasty btw and good reason why we like to come here too!!) good wine and good food. Parking: plenty Space: plenty Price: reasonable
