The 26 Best Restaurants In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"You’ve likely eaten a Sad Salad, but have you had the Sad Train Sandwich? Let’s hope not. To avoid it in Paris, pop into this spot across the street from Gare de Lyon before boarding your train to Lyon or Provence. They’re open all day, with a handful of tables on the sidewalk and three inside along a banquette if you don’t need to grab and go. The midday meal is unbeatable: a baguette sandwich made with cheese from their display and a dessert of fromage blanc for €9.50. The options will change regularly, but on a recent visit they included gouda with homemade apple jam and pickled apples, goat’s cheese and tomato chutney, and ham with pistachios and burrata. No extras like lettuce—just straight-up fromage, one topping, and a complementary spread." - sara lieberman, lindsey tramuta

Amazing sandwiches, the cheeses were local and excuisite and the wine was amazing as well. It's a quiet lovely little shop, but their menu was amazing and uniquely special. They are definitely not your everyday tourist shop but they offer unique french curated sandwiches. I'm glad I found this little shop and have already gone back twice in my short stay in Paris. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Paris. The customer service was great and the outside sitting added to the ambiance.

Excellent wonderful fantastic. All the good adjectives for this place. Best sandwich, best baguette, amazing wines, friendly service. So glad I got to visit this place on my last day in Paris, only wish I had been able to visit more times!!

Open from 11am-5pm, interesting sandwiches with good quality ingredients made to order. I had a sandwich with cheese from the Jura region, apples, and quince paste. Friendly service, and totally empty at 11:30am on a Saturday. I will definitely be going back. Perfect train food.

My favorite sandwich shop in Paris---I was already a fan of their sister shop Buvette, which has the same sort of delightful menu of natural wine and simple but high quality food, friendly service, and charming decor. Today I had a chevre sandwich and a refreshing glass of colombard after the friendly man gave me tastes of both it and the red wine on offer. I always pick up a jar of jam to remind me of Olga until I can visit her again. I miss her already and am plotting to pick up a sandwich on the way down to Marseille next summer....

Cute little venue that has some indoor and outdoor seating. The server was super friendly and efficient. Very nice cheeses and charcuterie. They had a good selection of natural red and white wines which is not easy to find. Definitely a cozy little gem in Paris.

This spot deserves all of its flowers! I read a recommendation for this spot in the most recent issue of Bon Appetit, and it was the first spot I headed to after a very long and exhausting travel day as it wasn’t far from my Airbnb. The service was so friendly and ordering was very easy. I ordered a glass of red and the sandwich with fresh herbs and triple crême Brie. The wine was a light and fruity chilled Gamay that is made especially for Olga, it was perfectly juicy and delicious. The sandwich was very light and tasty, the flavors complemented so well! My only complaint was that there was so much mint and dill that it was a little hard to enjoy the flavor and creamy texture of the cheese but I was still beyond satisfied and impressed:) I grabbed a bottle of the Gamay in the way out and had some good conversation with the sweet woman working the counter. Olga started my food experience in Paris on a high note!
