Big big fan of the food here! Loved all their dips, the pizza, the mushroom pasta, and the dessert. Really light but amazing flavors and good portion sizes too. The ambiance / decor is so beautiful, and it’s really well located. Highly recommend, especially for a date!

This is a beautifully designed restaurant that all has some flavorful cuisine. This is within the Penn quarter and offers a very nice bar as well as separate rooms. Service was prompt and attentive. The food has a good texture and flavor for the meal I tried. This is also a nice place to grab a drink. It is worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing experience, at this James Beard Foundation semi finalist. The drink was very refreshing and creative. It included fog purée and pomegranate. The freshly baked roll served with olive oil was outstanding. The appetizer included carrot hummus, eggplant and tzatiki. All good but eggplant was extraordinary. So was the cauliflower. The lamb was moist and melting in a mouth. Perfectly seasoned. The deserts were also very testy and creative. Fantastic experience!

A nice Mediterranean place with lovely decor, good food and good service. Being vegetarian we tried a number of the small plates and they were all very good. We loved the complimentary hot bread with olive oil and the lavash chips. Also the harissa spicy sauce was very good.

Washington Restaurant Week is a great chance to get some fantastic food at a price you'd expect to pay for the entree alone. There are so many Mediterranean restaurants in the area, but Olivia stands out as being special. Everything was fresh, delicious, and looked beautiful on the plate. The spice blends were unusual and wonderful. A memorable meal.

One of the better restaurant experiences I've had. The food was no less than outstanding. Bread service was soft and flavorable, falafel was crunchy on outside and soft..almost fluffy inside. Village salad had a little too much gets but tasted fresh and bright, seafood platter is a cant miss. Shrimp had a great char but did borderline a little overdone. Salmon was delicious but the octopus was perfect. Char on outside and sliced vs tentacles. But what really set this place on fire was the service. Professional, friendly and very attentive.

Our meal at Olivia was superb. Service was excellent and dishes were brought in an efficient but well paced manner. The wine list accurately showcased the regional cusines and included several rather affordable options. We ordered the following: Whole Roasted Bronzino, Crispy Lamb ‘Osso Bucco’, Galician Style Octopus Carpaccio, Chorizo Verde flat bread, Charred Romanesco Cauliflower, Mediterranean Stone Bass Crudo. All these items were delicious, but the crudo could have been more substantial. We had the Apple Tatin Tart for dessert which was well composed and tasty. Overall an excellent showing. 5/5

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Every dish was delicious and presented so elegantly. Service and atmosphere were faultless too. Very reasonably priced especially considering the quality.
