My girlfriend and I visited Olivia’s Prime twice, on January 23rd and 30th, during our 16-day holiday in the Da Nang area.
We discovered the restaurant through the MICHELIN Guide, and after experiencing the food firsthand, it’s easy to understand why it’s included. Beautifully located near the Hàn River, the restaurant is especially striking in the evenings when it lights up, and the interior feels modern, elegant, and welcoming.
On both occasions we arrived slightly early, which was handled without any issues. We were warmly greeted and shown directly to our table.
For both visits, we each chose the 250g AUS Premium Marbled MB5/6 Tenderloin. The steaks were outstanding. Easily among the best meat we’ve ever had. Having visited many restaurants and steakhouses around the world, this experience truly stands out.
We also tried several sides and accompaniments, including the deviled eggs, grilled asparagus, béarnaise sauce, pepper sauce, and the potato gratin. Everything was very well prepared. The potato gratin, while cooked beautifully, had a potato variety that was slightly different from what we’re used to, resulting in a taste that wasn’t quite our personal preference, but this is purely subjective.
The service throughout both visits was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, contributing greatly to the overall experience.
The quality of the food, especially the meat, impressed us so much that we decided to return even before leaving after our first dinner and made a second reservation on the spot.
Prices naturally vary depending on what you choose from the menu, but compared to what we’re accustomed to in Scandinavia, the value felt very high. Premium meat comes at a higher cost, of course, and in this case it was absolutely worth it.
I would highly recommend Olivia’s Prime to anyone visiting Da Nang, particularly if you appreciate high-quality meat. It’s an experience well worth trying.
