I would come back in a heartbeat! We found this Italian restaurant on the Google Maps with 4.5 stars and decided to give it a try! We are glad that we did! We were seated quietly even without reservations on a Friday evening which was not an easy thing in London! Our drinks and food orders was quickly taken and we go with couple dishes that our waitress recommended. Everything we ordered was on our table within a reasonable time! And they were all very delicious! We emptied all dishes! We need to come back again when we can!

Definitely a hidden gem, if you love Italian food & seafood. My personal fav is spaghetti alla bottarga and lobster pasta. Would also recommend trying Sardinian dishes. 👌

Finally after over 30 years I've found an authentic Italian restaurant in London, excellent good quality food, not cheap, but you'll be eating top quality fish, served by friendly, competent staff in a clean and classy environment. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!! If I had to be picky I would suggest more light. But everything else is perfect. Well done.

We love all the Olivo restaurants! All the pastas are good and we especially like the botarga dishes.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Olivomare, a restaurant that was established in 2007 by Mr. Mauro Sanna. Upon entering the restaurant, my initial impression of the staff was not very impressive. They seemed inattentive and lacked the level of professionalism one would expect. To start, they served us bread and olives without providing a small plate. It may seem like a minor detail, but it is these small touches that contribute to the overall dining experience. Additionally, when the waiter asked if I wanted water, they brought the water bottle already opened. In my opinion, the water bottle should have been opened in front of me, rather than behind the bar. These small lapses in service etiquette were disappointing. However, once I mentioned that I was a food critic, the attitude of the staff changed dramatically. It is a shame that they only provided exceptional service after being aware of my profession. This indicates that they have the capability to provide excellent service, but it should be consistent for all customers, regardless of their occupation. Moving on to the highlight of the evening, the food at Olivemare was truly outstanding. To test the skills of an Italian cuisine chef, I ordered the spaghetti pomodoro, and it was perfectly prepared. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the tomato sauce was flavorful and well-balanced. This dish alone showcased the talent of the chef and their ability to execute a classic Italian dish flawlessly. In addition to the spaghetti pomodoro, we also ordered other starters that were equally delicious. The flavors were vibrant, and the presentation was visually appealing. For my main course, I opted for the spaghetti with crab, and it did not disappoint. The combination of the delicate crab meat with the pasta created a harmonious blend of flavors. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a glass of white wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. In summary, the food at Olivemare is truly fantastic. The chef's skill and attention to detail are evident in every dish. However, the service falls short and is in need of improvement. The staff's lack of attentiveness and inconsistency in their level of service detracted from the overall dining experience. Olivomare Italian Restaurant left us thoroughly impressed! For starters, we had the oysters, and they were very good, fresh, and beautifully presented. The beef carpaccio was equally delightful—tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. For the main course, we enjoyed the lobster linguine and fresh truffle pasta—the restaurant’s signature dishes. They were absolutely the stars of the evening, with rich, exquisite flavors that made each bite memorable. To finish off our meal, we had sorbet for dessert, which was the perfect refreshing end to an exceptional dining experience. The service was fantastic and welcoming from beginning to end, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Overall, Olivomare delivered fantastic food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. a gem in Belgravia if you are looking for Italian food. Definitely worth trying more than one pasta.

I recently enjoyed a really lovely dinner here. My partner & I are gluten and dairy free, and we didn’t feel like we were at a loss of options. I enjoyed a gluten free crab linguine, and my partner had the cod (still delicious even when made as requested without dairy). We started with anchovy salad and octopus, both of which were fresh tasting (slight preference for the octopus, which was so tender) and came on a fluffy bed of rocket. We also enjoyed a very nice bottle of Sangiovese. All in all pretty great. The atmosphere felt a bit sterile, maybe something about the bright lights and white walls. Otherwise it was quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting, while still being full of diners. Highly recommend!
