Where To Eat Brunch Before The Beach - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The brunch menu at Ollo is short, but manages to run the gamut from “I just came back from Canyon Ranch and only eat fruits” to “Give me all of the butter.” Which basically sums up Malibu. We tend to just split the difference and get the chilaquiles. Pico De Gallo counts as a vegetable." - jess basser sanders

"COVID-19 Update: Open for takeout and delivery. The chefs here cook with ingredients from local farms (One Gun Ranch, for one), resulting in a menu that covers all the bases (expertly prepped proteins, veggie-driven plates, and more). The space is open with natural light flooding in from every direction—trees covered in string lights rise directly out of the floor in the middle of the indoor dining area, and there's a lush outdoor patio surrounded by vines and greenery. Make sure to order a pizza. COVID-19 Disclaimer: We are working hard to keep our listings as up to date as possible (deliveries, outdoor dining, etc.), but given the evolving nature of local COVID-19 restrictions, we recommend double-checking the information in this guide with any business you plan on visiting. Also, please note that we have not vetted any businesses listed within our guides for their compliance with applicable safety regulations."

A truly charming spot—both in atmosphere and service. And the breakfast? Absolutely amazing! We ordered the Ollo Scramble and hands down, it was the best choice we could’ve made. Every bite was packed with flavor. The coffee was also incredible—rich, smooth, and just what a proper breakfast deserves. Can’t wait to come back!

Came to Malibu for an event. Stopped at Ollo for dinner. We walked in and were seated. The first thing we noticed was the comfortable decor. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and the had nice contemporary music playing. We placed our drink order and asked for some bread. We got our drinks, but no bread. It was almost 20 minutes before were were served our requested bread. We were starting to get a sense that they were short on wait staff. Our waiter was nice but you could pick up on his stress. We started with the Cauliflower appetizer. It was delicious! Not what I expected but very good. I ordered the Beef Short rib and mashed potatoes. My wife asked for the Porcini Mushroom Parpadelle pasta. We received or Beef Short Rib plate and a Beef Ragu Parpadelle dish. The waiter was nowhere to be seen, so she ate the dish she received. For desert we got the Torta Della Nonna. It was good, but the ice cream on the side was the highlight. All in all the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, but they definitely had a staffing shortage.

I ate at Ollo for a formal dinner hosted by my alma mater. They served family style for our needs and handled a group of 14 beautifully. The courses kept coming out and every one of them was spot on for delicious cuisine. Their dishes are authentic, Italian dining. And their service is also reminiscent of my experience in Rome.

Very tasty food, good wine selection, and hope they get better calamari, those are super greasy,

Really nice restaurant, stopped here before an astronomy lecture at Malibu City Hall. Nice customer service, food came out fast and the venue was beautiful. I recommend and will come back to eat.

Service: Excellent. Our server, Marcos, did a fantastic job and was super friendly. Claudio and the other managers also stopped by multiple times to check on us. Our food came in no time. Ambiance: Loved it. Like ved the energy at this place. Loved the large, colorful paintings and perfect amount of light. Food: Bread was on the house. It was warm, toasty and had very nice rosemary seasoning. We mainly ate vegetarian food because my husband is vegetarian. We loved the beet salad, lentil soup and roasted cauliflower. Brussels sprouts could use more seasoning. I’ll definitely recommend this place. They have good vegetarian options.

Google
An absolutely amazing experience all around. The food was spectacular and the service was just as good. We might have over eaten, but the cocktails kept us going and this is definitely a five star restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Google
There we’re 6 of us that decided to come here after a hike. There was little to no wait and plenty of parking while other places in the area had hour+ wait times and limited/paid parking. This place does not have an ocean view but has a wide selection of delicious food choices. Our only issue was that we ordered a few burgers rare- medium rare and they all came out medium well - well done. To their credit, the manager came over and offered us several options for remedy the situation. Other than that it was a great environment with a full bar and wide menu. I would give it another try.

Yelp
We stopped in for our first time this past Saturday for brunch and both had a great experience. Located in beautiful Malibu right off the PCH this shopping center always has a ton of free parking, which was really convenient given how most other restaurants in LA don't have as many free and available spaces. Service was fast and friendly and we were able to be seated right when we arrived for a 10:30 brunch. They have indoor and outdoor tables but most people choose to sit indoor, which was our choice as well. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of great options. Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish so when I read all the positive reviews of their Crab Cake Benedict I knew I had to try it. I can confirm it was very good. The eggs were perfectly runny, and the crab cake itself had great flavors. We also ordered the Huevos Rancheros which came in a huge sized portion surrounded by one large tostada shell curved on the edges. That was a really nice touch because we used the shell to soak up the rest of the juices/food. Overall a solid breakfast option in Malibu. It was not as cheap as local diners but still not overly expensive, especially given the location.

Yelp
A true gem in Malibu! The layout of this restaurant is absolutely stunning, with a tree growing right in the middle that adds so much character and charm. The bar is also a standout feature--inviting and well-run. Special mention to Brandon, who has been here for seven years. His kindness, friendliness, and speed make the experience even better. He's a pro at what he does! The food is consistently good, but my go-to is a glass of wine paired with their zucchini sticks. They're perfectly crisp, and the green goddess dressing is the perfect complement. This spot combines a beautiful atmosphere, great service, and delicious bites--highly recommend!

Yelp
Our server was friendly and the food came out quick, but we were unimpressed by the quality and taste of everything we ordered. The chicken bowl was pretty mediocre and lacked flavor. The grilled chicken was dry and the strips were very thin. Our table ordered the Quatro Stagioni Pizza and unfortunately, I did not like this at all. The prosciutto looked and tasted like cold lunch meat, the crust was undercooked, and the sauce was bland. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we found the food underwhelming, especially for the price point. However, Ollo does have a large menu which offers a nice variety for groups. I probably wouldn't come here again, but would be willing to try other menu items that may be better.

Yelp
For a restaurant by the beach, the prices here are quite reasonable. There is a lot of parking space in the front. Walked in, and was seated. Ordered the Wagyu burger and the salmon bowl. The Wagyu burger was good, nothing super mind-blowing. I loved how I didn't even have to chew, it just melted. We were hoping that the server would hand us the dessert menu but he didn't so we just ate dinner and left to get sweets elsewhere.

Yelp
Great service! Really good food. Casual vibe for a sit down place, rare in Malibu. A lot of locals at the bar. New happy hour everyday from 3pm to closing (only if you sit at the bar).

Yelp
We came here for the first time on Valentine's Day, and it was a great experience overall! I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict, and let me tell you--it was absolutely fantastic. The crab cake was packed with flavor, and the poached eggs were perfectly runny. The hollandaise sauce had just the right amount of richness without being too heavy. Honestly, it was the highlight of my whole trip. My partner went with the shakshuka. He said it was alright--not bad, but not mind-blowing either. The sauce had good seasoning, but the flavors didn't pop as much as we expected. We also decided to share a Belgian waffle, which was solid but pretty standard. It was light, fluffy, and came with the usual toppings, but nothing that made it stand out from any other waffle. To drink, we tried the cleanse juice, which was actually pretty refreshing. It had a nice balance--not too sweet or sour--and it made us feel a little less guilty about indulging in everything else. Overall, the food was great, the vibe was nice, and I'd definitely come back for that crab cake Benedict alone!

Yelp
Wonderful service. Delicious food. Was in the area and called to see about seating at 6pm on a Friday. Was told outside would be the only option, but that it was shielded from the wind and had heaters, so I gave my name and said we'd arrive in 15 min. Parking was easy in the large shopping center lot. Thanks to Finn, at reception, who noticed that "Samantha" was a no-show, and my friend and I were able to get a deuce inside. (Separate kudos to "Samantha" for her flakiness!! ) Although we did see the enclosed outdoor patio and would not have been uncomfortable there at all, even with the 50° windy chill. Our server was excellent. Regrettably blanking on his name. Attentive but not pushy. Wonderfully warm, sliced bread rolls were automatically brought over that had a generous coating of olive oil. Perfect to start - and no extra charge, as so many places do nowadays. I had the Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita. Read that it came with a salt rim, yet I was able to easily swap that for a Tajin rim, which seemed more appropriate to carry the spicy theme. Delicious! My entree was the Linguine Vongole. A bowl was brought over for the clam shells, yet there was a smaller spoon and fork inside to scoop out the clams and shells. Nice extra touch not normally seen. The portion seemed smaller than expected but was beautifully presented with an ample amount of clams. Very delicious sauce. To finish I opted for the Crème Brûlée. That and the tiramisu were both suggested, yet they're also fairly standard. Still was nice. Also noticed they had Affogato available, which I can't seem to get enough of. Definitely have that earmarked for my next visit! Dinner was very relaxed. Zero rush. Very enjoyable!

Yelp
Their menu is quite extensive. If you're indecisive like me, you may have difficulty making a choice. I decided to order the crab cake Benedict. The quality was solid, and the presentation was really nice. My girlfriend ordered the waffle with fried chicken. I had a bite. As she complained, the waffle was pretty dry although I put quite a bit of syrup. We sat on their (enclosed) patio since we had dogs. The ambiance was casual yet nice. They are on a strip mall with a decent size shared parking lot. So, parking is free, and it is not difficult to find a spot. Finally, our waiter was very friendly yet professional. I'm very happy with everything except for the dry waffle.

Yelp
This is place is incredible. We loved the interior and patio area. We've had incredible service by Italian waiter from San Remo. Food was outstanding. Definitely a place to come back to once we are in California again

Yelp
Calamary over breaded also very rubbery, eggplant parmigiana salty and not much flavor, service good! Not sure if I'm coming back.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint!!!! The ambience, the food, the service is fantastic. I came here 3 years ago and completely forgot to write a review. Anyhow I came back today and had a lovely pre Mother's day brunch with my family. We made reservations online prior to coming here and we were seated right away. Shout out to Luis our server who made our experience a lovely one. He helped us last time and I remember he was always so welcoming and very sweet. The service by him was outstanding so Thank you Luis. We ordered a lot of things unfortunately forgot to take pictures of everything. So for starters I ordered the golden turmeric latte and the cleanse juice. The golden turmeric latte was quite the surprise I didn't read the ingredients but it had two shots of espresso with turmeric and milk I actually thought it would be turmeric and milk but it was so delicious and gave me that wam fuzzy feeling while drinking it. The cleanse juice was nice and fresh as well ginger, apple juice, lemon and cayenne pepper, wow! That was really nice as well. We started off with the olla scramble which you get toast, potatoes and salad. It's a very generous portion so good to share. Loved the caramelized onions! We also ordered the brioche French toast, chicken kofta kabobs! The French toast was so soft and loved the berries so sweet and delicious, the chicken kabobs were delicious as well, it came with 3 skewers of chicken, pita bread, rice and salad. Another great option to share also. We had a wonderful time, once again Luis made it a memorable one. Beautiful ambience, lots of wonderful items and definitely would come back again. Would recommend very, very good!

Yelp
Ollo is one of our go-to lunch and dinner spots since it is so close to home. The food is always fresh and delicious! They also have a full bar and decent selection of wines to choose from. Among my favorite dishes are the salmon pasta and the mushroom pizza! I recently had breakfast there, and Ollo never disappoints! The Ollo Scramble has mushrooms, spinach, onions and cheese all scrambled in to a large portion of eggs! I had to take home leftovers! The service is always outstanding and the staff really makes an effort to get to know you. The inside of the restaurant has beautiful large paintings, I believe from local artists; it's always fun looking around at the artwork. Still one of our go-to restaurants!! Ollo is the best!

Yelp
Wasn't planning to eat here, but traffic was crazy & this was close to Pepperdine so abandoned r rsvp elsewhere. Was pleasantly surprised. Service was fabulous!! They bring a free loaf of warm focacina (garlic/olive oil bread), which my hubs said was amazing!!!! Barely got a pic of the last slice b4 he finished off the entire board of bread. Gf margherita pizza was good. Nothing special, but it was tasty. Filet Mignon chili was very good. Easy parking, which is a plus in Malibu. Wasn't crowded but we were there early & they had a steady stream of people. Only negative was an extra hidden charge of about 10% that was added sometime after we gave our credit card but before we added tip/signed. If you don't look closely, it's easy to miss as nobody mentions that you're now paying a different amount than when you gave your cc. Given the easy parking, tasty food and excellent service, we would go back.

Yelp
First time here and the food was delicious. Our server was one of the best i've had, super friendly and so fast. Wish I got her name! Also, I got a lemon drop and it was delicious. The food was tasty and super fresh, definitely will be coming back here.

Yelp
A friend had taken me here years ago for brunch so it was always on my go to list to return--because it was the best bacon I had ever eaten at a restaurant! When we were out at the beach, I called and made a reservation for 4pm on a Thursday. (We were planning on coming here for brunch that day but ended up skipping a sit down brunch to get to the beach earlier). I know it's an off time, which was great because we were there to celebrate a birthday. We ordered the fried calamari and wedge salad to start. Both were delicious (and I'm not even a big salad person). I ordered the grilled chicken and it had the perfect crispy outside. I chose the roasted vegetables as the side, which were a nice variety. For dessert, I got the chocolate soufflé and it was very good. My only want was a larger side of vanilla ice cream to balance out the richness of the chocolate but I still ate the whole thing after running out of ice cream--it was a pretty big size! Our waitress was very attentive and went out of her way to make the birthday special, bringing out a scoop of ice cream with a candle for our birthday baby. I had brought my own candle and she left the lighter so we could capture 2 birthday candle moments. Management came around to check on us, which was also appreciated. I felt like our family was taken care of for this milestone dinner. Looking forward to next returning for brunch!

Yelp
To be transparent I spend most of my day sitting at Zinque writing at the bar. It is clean and well lighted and they have electrical outlets and Wi-Fi for bum writers such as myself. I wrote a review of Ollo for Malibu Times and talked about people being "Olloyal" to a place that has served many many residents and tourists in Malibu for many years. But a couple days ago I detoured from Zinque and met my friends Victoria and Paula at Ollo for breakfast. And it was very good. Started with a cafe au lait that could have been a little hotter and it didn't have a peace symbol or a flower or a heart or a yin yang or Bitcoin symbol swirled in the top. I ordered the three breakfast tacos and got a nice big heaping plate full of good warm food. The tacos were jammed full of bacon and avocado and everything good - and the potatoes were very good too. Also had a slice of the two pancakes my friends ordered and that was good too. Pancakes taste goooood. Syrup tastes goooood. Malibu is populated with wealthy, well-traveled sophistos who know what's good, so places have to be good in these parts. Competition for restaurants is tough in Malibu and Ollo owner Antonio is a proud Italian man who wants to deliver quality food and service to his Olloyal patrons. If that breakfast is any indication of the rest of the menu he's getting 'er done. Test your Olloyalty!

Yelp
So being a Malibu local, I have frequented Ollo at least 100x and 90%+ has been great. However, since the new ownership, and focus on Italian flair, the new owner has somehow magically abandoned or changed the staple dishes and jacked the price and gives skimpier portions! 50% of the time I eat there though I have boycotted the place the last few months as I got tired of lame and inattentive bar tenders trying to sling "happy hour meals" and having attitude if ya don't wanna drink? One has to BEG for water . The salmon bowl was a staple and a meal. Now it's a salad with a skimpy skinny piece of fish. The beef risotto is now a ricey mess And today I ordered a"plain hamburger w/ avocado n cheese to go and got home to find a loaded with mayo and sauce medium burger I have a command of the English language so when I called to speak to manager "Betty" she contested my concern of what I purchased for $30 and said I needed to tell the order taker that I have food allergies. I said Betty, stop talking for a moment, I ordered a PLAIN avocado cheeseburger. She still was defiant so I asked for a charge back on the card and she said " we can't do that" but you can have an Ollo credit instead. Didn't eat the slobbery mayo wet medium burger loaded with stuff I didn't want! My manifesto here is more about the Manager Betty who didn't acknowledge the clear mistake and wanted to rumble and even said , I do t have other complaints. Well now you do Betty n no more lunches on your watch

Yelp
An amazing stop in Malibu. A great dining experience. Perfect for a peaceful adult evening.

Yelp
Delicious....... like really really delicious! I was here for lunch and had the Grilled Salmon Bowl and a whiskey espresso martini. My daughter had the chicken parm. She reported that it was standard and it looked pretty standard. But my Bowl was made of dreams! So fresh, flavorful, and interesting. It was perfection. Additionally, my cocktail was on point! Hoping too return here soon!

Yelp
My first time trying this restaurant and did like several of the items I tried but nothing was very memorable. The service was so good, especially with the love and attention given to our sweet granddog...who was only too happy to enjoy a piece of bacon from the attentive and kind server. On a cold day, we sat on the patio and felt comfy with the heater. The golden milk latte with almond milk was as good as I'd gotten anywhere else. If you like them as much as I do you will probably enjoy them as much as I did. The artichoke appetizer was delicious I will order that again. I looooove artichokes so that's saying something! The lentil soup was presented nicely...it was hot enough and served with a piece of yummy toasted focaccia bread. The soup was on the bland side which was a bummer as I always love being able to eat lentils at restaurants. Hubs ate the Wagyu Burger and said it was delicious. Overall, not super impressed with the food but because the service was great, and the prices seemed better than most places in Malibu, I will return and try some other dishes...and of course the artichoke!

Jacqueline Z.

Yelp
This place is so good! The breakfast is so good. I get the breakfast burrito and if you get you will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was good service was friendly. For regular coffee they don't have creamer only milk or half and half. I got the chicken and waffles it was decent, my husband really liked his crab cake breakfast. I had some of my child's grilled cheese it was delicious. Lol I didn't like how they only had one option for breakfast for kids with included NO pancakes. Just egg and bacon or sauce I believe. The apple juice was pressed and fresh. Our server was very nice. We sat outside no scenery but nice decor and there was plants around.

Yelp
A happy accident. Went for a drive to the PCH with no particular lunch plans because it was a Sunday and I know how crazy the area can get. I decided to stop by the country mart, but the crowd was ridiculous so I headed straight to the back. I had just gotten on the area that would bring us back to the PCH when I saw the sign for this place in the corner of my eye. I pulled over at the side of the road, looked up their menu then told my friend we're going to pivot and stop here instead. We happened to both be super hungry by then. We got a little lost finding the entrance. It was crowded inside, but there wasn't a wait so yay. We were seated inside on the outside area that has pillows on the seat. We placed our drink order with one guy then someone else took our food order. I got the breakfast sandwich which came with o'brien potatoes and a side salad. My friend got the crabcake benedict. We both got the spicy margarita. We decided to split our meals so we could both try each other's dishes. We also shared the mezze hummus plate. The food was great as was the service. The only thing we both didn't care for was the side salad because it had no taste. We were both trying to figure out if it even had any dressing in there.

Yelp
Great place for happy hour in Malibu. Everyone was extremely friendly, felt like a Cheers kinda place.

Yelp
This was my celebration meal after getting into Pepperdine for grad school! My husband surprised me by taking me here. Food was yummy!! We shared a pizza and got a cesear salad Service was okay, our waiter didn't do the best. The ambiance is very nice and upscale.

Yelp
Excellent service, beautiful patio, and the food was delicious! We're so glad we stopped here.

Yelp
First time here. Great atmosphere as you walk in. This place offers a relaxed ambiance as you would expect to find when in Malibu. The staff was welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend getting here when it opens as it appeared to fill up rather quick. My family and I enjoyed the menu selection. All of our dishes had good presentation and were served hot. The waiter was great, keeping my cup filled. Ollo is a great place to meet with friends and or to dine out with the family and kids. I would highly recommend it.

Lyn M.

Yelp
Never come back here again Ordered the steak medium rare and came out well done. They remade it again but it was rare. The quality was very cheap All the food tasted bland The only good was bacon. The juices weren't fresh squeezed either This place isn't recommended
google avatar

Yelp
$20 for 2 lousy fish tacos?? $10 each?? I should have asked first....it is on the "small plates" menu...just felt ripped off, haha. The pizza was really yummy, but the crust was so thin & soft that it just fell when you tried to pick it up...super flimsy. Our server was very attentive though. I will say that. Won't ever come again honestly.
google avatar

Izza K.

Yelp
Appetizers were delicious but the main dish: pasta was terribly undercooked. Maybe this is their definition of al dente but none of us could eat the pasta.
google avatar

Yoona L.

Yelp
Location is convenient. Staff were consistently attentive and courteous. Ambiance.. was a confusing mix of part generic hotel, sports bar, with Italian restaurant like patio seating. Pretty basic pizzas, salads and entrees that's at best a 3/5. The prosciutto on my pizza was dry and low quality with barely any cheese on it. Pasta was boring. Standard eatery if you want something quick with more options. Not a place I'd return to if I had a choice.

Mona Therese W.

Yelp
everything is perfect, just wish they had a water filter for the tap water. Waiters are kind, service Nice ambiance as well.

Yelp
I've been here twice and both times had amazing food (beet salad + sage tortellini + grilled artichoke are must haves), great service (the owner checked in on us both times), and its just a nice environment in general. Lively but not too loud! Will definitely be returning.

Jack J.

Yelp
the service was nice but i did not enjoy the food much, meatballs were dry, the beet salad was overly done with the dressing, and we added chicken to a order of salad and the chicken was flat strips pal meat which gave it a fake appearance which was unpleasant but i did find the fish tocos tasty. Not many good choices in my opinion in Malibu, you need to drive into Santa Monica for great food

Yelp
Best food in Malibu by far! From breakfast to dinner, Ollo has you covered! You will not be disappointed by anything on the menu. Everything I have ordered I loved. Great ambiance and service as well. I highly recommend Ollo. 10/10!

Mark G.

Yelp
Great food and service. Started with a fresh watermelon cocktail. Forget the name, lol. One of the best veal chop Milanese l have ever had, salads were great, Bronzino stellar. Kids loved the rosemary bread, pasta and pizza as well. Finished with a great cappuccino which was A1 made just right.

Yelp
Had a mediocre breakfast burrito and a fried chicken sandwich for lunch. Chicken was fine if you're at a cafeteria... but something on the sandwich was fishy...!really disgusting i almost vomited. The server didn't even apologize ! Never again!

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice and the staff was pleasant. However, the food left something to be desired. It was fine but wasn't great.

Yelp
This restaurant is just outstanding!! The ambiance is perfect with nice jazzy music playing in a beautiful space. The food is delicious. I got the glass noodle salad, which is a favorite of mine if you are okay with spicy. My father ordered the wagu burger which he really enjoyed. Our server was beyond outstanding! He made the whole experience even more elevated! Luis was wonderful, I would request him every time I come! He was so attentive, really the best!

Yelp
Absolutely insane! Came back here for a second time a few months later and tried some new items here. Needless to say, I will always be coming back to Ollo. It's one of my favorite brunch places. Located in beautiful Malibu right by the coast, Ollo offers decadent and beautifully curated brunch items. We got the wagyu burger, Spicy salami pizza, and butternut squash soup and left so satisfied. Ollo truly has the best pizzas. The service was outstanding, the food came fast and we got sat right away. Please visit Ollo, you certainly won't regret it!

Steve G.

Yelp
Great food and staff, but we always wonder why the ambiance is so uninspiring/unimaginative. The lowbrow art covering the walls does nothing to elevate the space. They need to do something more interesting with the ceiling, like Pipa in NYC (see pic). Or brighten it up like Contramar in CDMX. Maybe swap out the dark brown chairs for some color. Just give some thought to an update, esp. with all the new competition in town.

Penelope J.

Yelp
We opted for this restaurant when the one we intended to go to was closed. It turned out to be a great option. Food was hi quality and well prepared, tho unsurprisingly expensive ($22 for two fish tacos?). No stunning views of the ocean (just the parking lot) but a solid place to eat and have a drink.

Yelp
From a middle class college student's perspective, I will be rating my true and diplomatic experience in a very simple outline that I deem necessary from any restaurant I go to :) Ollo is a beautiful place to chill in and get some work done as it is architecturally designed very well! The interior of it caused my grandma to want a photo taken of her there haha! But I'm afraid that is all I can commend them for :( The yummy... 3/5 Ahh... the yummy gave a mediocre emotion as it didn't match the environment of the restaurant. Reaching over more on the bland side ____________ The quality... 3/5 The meats and after taste did not have a sense of freshness to my taste buds, but it didn't make me feel sick so that is good. ____________ The quantity... 2/5 I normally get frustrated and annoyed when I see a high price with abnormally low portions...the base portion was not too shabby, but the additional meats were laughable for the price :/ 3 little shrimps for 6$ 2$ per quarter ounce of shrimp... i sigh... ollo I believe you can do better! ____________ The specialty... 4/5 The salad definitely tasted good. ____________ The affordability...2/5 For the quantity and quality I don't respect the affordability. ____________ The service... 3.5/5 They did their job as expected! Nothing more nothing less :) ____________ The cleanliness... ... 5/5 The restaurant and environment was very clean! Sorry Ollo for a harsh review, but an honest critique from a consumer that believes in you! I believe if you drop some $$ on the additional meats; lots will change for you!

Yelp
Service was great, and our server was very friendly, funny, and attentive. He was happy to bring us more water, drinks, and a dessert menu and was not afraid to admit when he made a mistake. I got the burrata pizza, and the flavor was decent. My negative was that the basil leaves were way too big and impossible to bite through. The pieces should have been chopped up into smaller pieces but I understand that it was probably for the aesthetics of the pizza. The drinks and dessert were outstanding! I would want to come back for the desserts all the time!! The ambiance was fine, but I think it was a bit too loud!

Yelp
Positive: We took some friends to Ollo on a Friday. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. The food was super fresh. Highly recommend. Ambiance is fabulous definitely very relaxing! Negative: Posted on the front door Dogs are Welcome, upon entering sitting in the patio (2) x by the Manager we were asked to put the dog down on the floor instead of him being on the chair. Also restaurant was not happy I was giving my dog some food . I highly recommend some changes to allow dogs as comfort if there welcome also owners be able feed there dog some treats if they have to! Too many rules & regulations for my pup! We are here to enjoy right ?? Then keep the Welcome sign as polite as possible. I will drop 1 star for the inconvenience caused by the restaurant for my dog!!

Yelp
I'm so bummed! This was always our go-to restaurant in Malibu and now it's under new management and the prices went up! Service was nice when available. You can taste the difference in the food and in the your pocket

Yelp
First time coming for Valentine's Day. The food was amazing! I got the crab cake eggs Benedict and it was the best thing I ate this entire trip. My partner got the shakshuka he said it was alright. We also got the Belgian waffle which was pretty good just your standard waffle. The cleanse juice was pretty good too!

Yelp
The restaurant is lovely and warm. The owner welcomed us like we were old friends. The crab cakes Benedict were delicious. My husband loved his steak and eggs and said it was one of the best breakfast he has ever had. We are definitely coming back.
