"This all-day diner on Capitol Hill has a variety of brunch dishes that lean on the heavy side. But if one has room, an order of the poutine, with Beecher’s cheese curds, green bell peppers, onions, and mushroom gravy, should hit the spot. Sibling bar Witness has a variation with pimento cheese, bacon bits, and chives. Both are open for takeout and limited dine-in." - Eater Staff

"For a very long time, the restaurant space at 314 Broadway E. was completely abandoned, with tables, chairs, and (probably haunted) salt and pepper shakers that got left behind. Olmstead transformed the whole place into a huge, fun restaurant with a back bar, hand-shuffleboard, and a menu full of sandwiches and snacks. There are a lot of misses on the menu, but there are some things we’d order again—like pork nuggets with tonnato (which taste great but are soggy) and rum-spiked shots of pistachio pudding with Nilla wafers and Lucky Charms marshmallows." - Aimee Rizzo

Went for their happy hour specials. The service was really great, as I arrived just before the kitchen reopened, but they let me get settled and get started with drinks and coffee. I didn't think their burger nor deviled eggs were particularly good, even considering their happy hour prices.

Google
Had the chicken sandwich, the tomato sandwich with bacon, and the pot roast. The pot roast was a little salty, but still pretty good. The chicken sandwich was good , but it could have used a little more seasoning. The tomato sandwich was excellent. The fries here are great. Beer was a little warm on draft, but still pretty good. All in all this place is pretty good, but not quite five stars.

First of all, the male hostess we had is hilarious and he started off our girls brunch perfectly. The food was all so good! Every cocktail looked amazing and the ones we had were delicious. The atmosphere also feels like the perfect brunch/weekend hangout spot.

Typical Cap Hill venue but with atypical food. The server was amazing and had such great energy, didn't catch her name but she had blonde hair. She was super accommodating and got my Toad in the Hole with egg whites. Will definitely come back here and bring friends. Cheers!

Food was good, drinks were fun and the host was very friendly. The leftover French toast tasted even better the next day. Three different areas of the restaurant all have their own vibe: Sunroom/bar in the back, Garage door diner area in the front and darker dining area in the back with neon signage

Shakshuka no sausage(7/10) was good, bud didn’t feel like much in it - get sausage next time. Leek Omelet was good (7.5/10) - tasted like french onion soup. Decor was 👌🏼

I’ve been here a few different times, most recently about a week ago. The host/person who sat me was rude to me several times, and they seemed annoyed that I was even there. My server this last time was sweet to me, but unfortunately every time I come here I’ve felt unwelcome by one or two people and it sours the whole experience. It seems like their preferred demographic is rich and straight people, but maybe i’ve just come on the wrong days. But hey, if that’s you, give it a go. The food was really great, and I like how many seating options there are. Probably won’t be back.

Update 7/31/24: came back. had an amazing server (Ashley) and a fantastic salad, deviled eggs are great and the environment was comfortable.

Yelp
My best friend and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night, we entered the restaurant and got seated immediately by the host who was super funny by the way Ah hahaha We got seated in the back, which was so colorful the aesthetic gives spring break summer vibes, with the aqua wall paper, green foliage, and pink neon signs. In the back near the bathroom there are pool tables and other other games too with many big TVs on the wall. The bathrooms require a code which any worker can give you. We ordered drinks which was the Lava Lamp and Space Cowboy cocktail. One of the more unique cocktails we've had but they hit the spot for suuure We ordered food from the Evening Menu and for our appetizer to share we got the pot toast poutine which I think was actually duck when we went there. But nevertheless it was one of the best poutines we have had in a long time. The cheese was stringing, the duck was ducking, and the fries where crispy with a touch of the sauce. Highly recommend getting any Poutine in the menu. It is quite big so I do recommend sharing it. For our meals my best friend got the four Mac and cheese with smoked bbq pork belly and her words for her dish was that "the crispiness of the pork belly perfectly balanced our the creamy Mac n cheese" and yes the cheese pill WAS present I ordered the Halloumi apple sandwich which was amazing as it was fresh (from the apple chutney and greens) that was balanced well with the fried halloumi cheese and aioli. I loved that the bread was a toasted brioche I just like brioche a lot. This place is definitively a place I would revisit in the future, it's close to the link light rail and is easy to spot. If you're thinking about a place to go with fast seating, good vibes, and good American food, come to Olmstead!

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, and both times thoroughly earn 2 stars and no more. The menu for brunch is really limited. For someone with strict diets or doesn't want to eat a bunch of carbs, there isn't much left on the menu. I was disappointed that it seemed to take a long time (maybe 10 or 15 minutes) for the waiter to come over and take a drink order. He seemed a bit annoyed overall to have to be there. I also got a vibe of 'tude when we asked to pay separately. I do like the back area seating, it's sort of "outdoor garden" vibe which is a nice change from a lot of other sterile looking restaurants. I'm honestly good to not really go back there even for the drink menu. I remember this place when it was Broadway Grill and it was a lot better then. This place is trying to be upscale and charge bougie Seattle / Cap Hill prices and it's simply not worth it, not with many other spots around to choose from.

Yelp
A solid spot for brunch on the weekends with a beautiful interior and beautiful plating! Definitely a win for having reservations available, but has a smaller menu of brunch items than most other spots. Busy if you don't have a reservation ahead of time :( The food itself was tasty, recommending the toad in the hole!

Yelp
Cute american food restaurant in CapHill! Came here to get drinks and dinner with a friend and it was a fun place to go. Their mango frosè drinks were so good and didn't taste too much like alcohol. I ended up getting a burger. It was a good burger but nothing special about it. I liked that they gave you a big portion of the side you got. I loved their decor and all the plants! There's plenty of seating and they take reservations. Since it's on Broadway, parking might be a bit hard to find. Would come back for the drinks but maybe not for food

Yelp
I've walked by this cafe multiple times and finally went in with some friends. The ambience reminds me a tad of Fort Lauderdale - bright and chirpy with plastic chairs. The waitstaff was patient while we dithered over the menu. Our unanimous request for rose was quickly filled, to include a bucket of ice to keep the bottle chilled. Nice touch! The grilled cheese had a medley of oozy cheese and a flavorful tomato jam. The substitution of a green salad with their house tarragon dressing played nicely against the cheese. My friend, a shakshouka aficionado, declared it fabulous. The sauce was perfectly spiced with a great flavor, but I'd take it down a tad from fabulous - the garlic bread was crispy but a bit oily and the added sausage did not seem to be grilled, but rather, warmed in the sauce. Good, but the flavor could have been enhanced. My other friend ordered a burger and fries. He seemed to enjoy the burger and shared the fries. They were herbed, which was tasty. Could have been a tad hotter, but good flavor and texture. I'd give it a 3.5.

Yelp
This is an interesting place. From what I was told, it occupies the old Broadway Diner location in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. It's definitely a cute little diner that seems to do its best business at breakfast. We arrived at lunchtime. There were five of us and we came hear because someone said they were specifically taking me there for their "American" type food. The lunch menu is severely lacking depth. There were four items: Grilled Cheese Halloumi Sandwich (cheese that doesn't melt) Burger (with or without cheese) Fried Chicken sandwich. Four of us got variations of the burger and one got the Halloumi sandwich. The person serving us seemed frazzled, though the place was empty. Let's first discuss the Halloumi. I had no idea what it was until my coworker told me. She was excited to order it. When she received it, the Halloumi was fried and that was unexpected as it was not stated on the menu. She said it was a good sandwich, but was surprised it was fried and wished they would have stated that on the menu. She may not have ordered it. The rest of us got burgers. I had been in Nashville the week prior and they make good fried chicken. My senses were on alert as I didn't expect good fried chicken in Seattle. The burgers arrived and it looked fabulous. There was a heaping pile of fries on the plate that looked like they were hand cut. We all asked for Ranch dressing on the side and mustard and ketchup. Instead of bringing bottles of ketchup and mustard, they put a dollop of each into tiny side cups used for salad dressing, This was fine for the mustard, but you'd need more if you were dipping your fries. The ketchup clearly wasn't enough for both the fries or the burger. The ranch was basically a thick, creamy mayo with paprika and parsley on top. It did not taste like ranch. It was definitely the aioli. The cooks need to learn the difference. This was the second place I've been to were they added bread and butter pickles to the sandwich. Why do that? It robs from the flavor of the burger. And the burger was juicy, so I definitely missed out on the flavoring. However, the saving grace was that the burger had one of the thickest buns I've ever had. I could just eat the bun to get the burger flavor (I didn't do that). I just removed the pickles and bun to eat the burger with fork and knife. Which, as a sandwich, was not ideal. The server was also painfully slow on the refills for our drinks be them soda or water. There was a lot of staff for very little patrons, so others could have helped him, but they didn't. After everything was said and done, I'd say the food was just okay. Knowing that Seattle has a vibrant food scene, I was a bit disappointed that we specifically traveled to this space as it was truly nothing to write home about.

Yelp
I was in Cap Hill picking up Chloe for the holidays and treating her to brunch so we stopped in at Olmstead. Miles, our server, was very friendly and prompt. I had not been in the building since the 90s when it was the Broadway Grill. It seems much brighter than then (but that could be a false memory, I'm getting older ). I decided to try the In The Pines which is made with fernet, a fir liqueur, crowberries, and ginger. Chloe opted for a cold brew coffee. The In The Pines was fantastic. We ordered the Toad in the Hole and the Shakshouka with some sausage. Dishes arrived quickly and Miles checked in just after arrival. Being honest, the caramelized onions on the Toad in the Hole were a tad too sweet for me. But that's a personal preference for a very savory version and took nothing away from how tasty this version was. The brioche toast was an awesome elevation for the Toad in the Hole. The Shakshouka was very good as well. Miles did say that these were their favorite brunch menu items. Everything was very good and we had a great Christmas Eve brunch. Stop in when you're in Broadway.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and interior. My friends and I ordered shakshuka's, breakfast potatoes and mimosas. All of it was great, and the portions are huge so be hungry. Taking one star off cause we had reservations and our table was given away after being a couple minutes late, but the email said there would be a 15 minute grace period.

Neha B.

Yelp
Very cute brunch spot in the heart of Capitol Hill! The interior decor is super colorful and there's plenty of seating. I stopped by with a friend for Saturday brunch and we got the Shakshuka and avocado toast. The portion sizes were decent and we were pretty satisfied with the food as well, although it wasn't anything too memorable for the price. The brunch cocktail menu did look interesting so I would come back for the drinks and just for the great ambiance!

Alexandria W.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant in Capitol Hill! I came for brunch on the weekend recently and it was great. Since it was the weekend it was pretty busy, but the wait wasn't that long (around 15-20 min for a party of 2) and you can reserve online if you want. I ordered the shakshuka and it was amazing! The tomato and the harissa sauce paired well together with the runny egg and toasted bread, so this is one of my favorite brunch places in Seattle.

Troy R.

Yelp
The drinks and food were good, but the pours were weak for double sized drinks. The price also doesn't seem to match the aesthetic and quality of dishThe staff were very friendly, music and entertainment good for a Friday night and my largest complaint is just that the cost for the quality of ingredients and the atmosphere didn't match, we had a few drinks and barely felt them, but racked up quite a bill. The food was reasonable, but felt like they were trying to do fine dining with bar food ingredients, and it didn't really work out. The neighborhood is lovely, give them a shot if you like the atmosphere and just want to sip on a drink!

Aditi S.

Yelp
Olmstead has such a cute vibe, I just wish their food lived up to their ambiance. I've been here a couple times for brunch and every time I've come I'd say the food's been average, nothing terrible but also nothing amazing. But I will say their portion sizes are great! Massive portions! My favorite thing I've gotten for brunch so far is the halloumi apple sandwich. My date got the toad in the hole and said it needed more sauce and was too "bread-y" but overall said it was decent, but not something he'd order again.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
We were in the city this weekend to attend an event in SODO, and lunch was calling our name. We were traveling via Link so we hopped off on Capitol Hill and headed to Olmstead. I have no regrets! I was worried they'd be busy at the height of the Saturday brunch/lunch rush, but we were able to get a seat immediately and near the open-air portion of the space. This made for some great Broadway people watching while we sipped our beers and awaited lunch. We shared their house salad, which was huge, fresh and adorned with sweet, roasted hazelnuts. We also split what is, apparently, their legendary chicken burger with what I'm pretty sure is the best fried chicken breast I've ever had. The coating was thick, crunchy, and sublime with its subtle spices. It was adhered to a giant, tender, and equally delicious chicken breast, and served atop a fresh bun with all the fixings. The plate was also full of some tasty fries that were similar in style to those served at local Dick's burgers chain - but way better tasting, crispier, and far less greasy. Our server, Miles, was friendly and attentive, and after our meal we got a little tour of the restaurant and their other cool spaces by another employee who was super friendly but I didn't get his name. In the back is their garden room, which they use for a variety of fun events, as well as a full bar which looked like a great spot to grab a drink (or a bloody mary, which I will definitely be wanting to indulge in on my next visit). I can see why this is a popular spot for brunch, and I feel fortunate we somehow snuck in between rushes of hungry patrons!

Yelp
Loved it before I stepped into the place. The wallpaper, tables & chairs, the plants, the vibes, everything was on point. I got their breakfast sammie with potatoes, it was outstanding. Add a side of bacon to that shit and you will not be disappointed. 10/10.

Sanjna S.

Yelp
My friends and I came here after a hike and we really liked the aesthetic ambiance and the friendly staff. My friend and I both got the fried chicken sandwich & fries and we really liked it - 9.5/10. We also split the French toast, but it personally wasn't for me because I didn't like the taste of the apple butter and I also thought the bread could have been softer, so I give it a 6.5/10. That being said I would definitely be coming back because there are so many other items on the menu that looks so yummy!

Arthur T.

Yelp
Came by for a quick evening happy hour. Sat immediately at the bar with no wait. Ordered: -rainier can $4 -icicle IPA $7 -titos shot $11 -HH draft $5 -HH fries $4 Definitely go for HH prices. Fries were also good. Staff was friendly. Street parking only.

Kevin D.

Yelp
Olmstead is a very aesthetic restaurant that's surprisingly big for being in the middle of Capitol Hill! The servers are always very friendly and patient. I've been here a few times for brunch, and my favorite item is the french toast. It comes with a healthy heap of whipped cream which I love! Pretty good place to take out-of-towners or just for a regular sunday brunch, with good vibes and no claustrophobia.

Adriana V.

Yelp
Olmstead is always a solid girls-brunch option. To start, the space is gorgeous - funky botanical wallpaper, natural light, and a ton of hanging plants and pink flamingos. Great background for your next Instagram post! The food is great. The breakfast menu is on the smaller side but each dish is amazing. A couple of my favorites are the house scramble and shakshuka. The lunch/dinner menu is where this place shines though. I love their sandwiches! If you order the tomato sandwich, you MUST add bacon. One thing to note, they have happy hour after 3pm on Sundays and the menu is pretty extensive. I'll update my review when I return for that!

Victoria S.

Yelp
great food and portion sizes. waitstaff is friendly and polite. drinks were creative and tasty. tables by the window are great during summer. also has gender neutral bathrooms and lots of street parking! definitely go for brunch.

Megan G.

Yelp
Came here for a late brunch on my birthday and we're seated right away which was lovely considering there were 10 of us. Very cozy and cute restaurant with the kitchen exposed in the middle which I thought was fun to see/watch. Our waitress wasn't the kindest or the most patient which is my reason for only giving 4 stars, I didn't catch her name. She treated us as though we were wasting her time and had a generally rude tone towards our group, was a little disappointing. But, the food was quite satisfying and it was a fun environment to hangout with friends and watch sports. The deviled eggs were incredible, definitely recommend ordering them for the table!!

Sarah L.

Yelp
I love Olmstead Happy Hour! The prices are very reasonable and many dishes are the same size as the normal menu. I had a happy hour grilled cheese which was really tasty with a tomato jam. The decor in here is great, I would recommend sitting in the side area with all the hanging plants. When I went in recently, they even had hanging witch's hats for Halloween! Service here is always quick and friendly.

Meralina M.

Yelp
We got there around 11am on a Sunday and they were busy but surprisingly no line! The staff was soooooo nice! We had some flowers from the farmers market around the corner and they asked us if we would like them to put them in a vase while we dine it was so nice! My friend loved her French toast it's actually a huge portion and the flavors are perfect! However her side of bacon was a bit over cooked. The complete breakfast sandwich was really great! My only "complaints" are that the menu says fried egg and then the yolk was completely runny, which isn't really a fried egg. As someone who doesn't like runny yolk it freaked me out at first but I handled it haha. I also wish they would've had an explanation of the "Bloody Mary slaw" somewhere. I didn't know what to expect but it was very good. The flavors were really amazing all together!

Mandi S.

Yelp
I came here to have brunch with some friends and had a great time. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The whole place is very Instagram worthy. I'm a fan a of all the bright colors and plants scattered throughout the restaurant. More importantly I'm a fan of the food. I ordered the shakshuka and a side of breakfast potatoes. I've never had shakshuka before and now I'm a huge fan. It was full of flavor & the eggs yokes were nice and runny. So good! The side of breakfast potatoes were a great addition because once I had finished the bread I started dunking my potatoes into the sauce. None of that sauce went to waste. I'd highly recommend trying. Yelp
If you're looking for a cute spot with delicious food in Capitol Hill, Olmstead is the place for you! I went for brunch here with some of our friends, and this was definitely a hit around the table. We were seated in the back room of the restaurant, which was lit by a ceiling of skylights, creating a room full of bright natural lighting. There were hanging plants everywhere and the room was painted in green tones to match. Our waiter was friendly and gave us recommendations for what to order, since it was all our first times. I went with the Toad in the Hole, and it was so good I think this might have to be my new go to! The brioche was toasted perfectly and the filling of caramelized onions, Gruyère, bacon, and eggs complimented each other so well. The side of potatoes were also pleasantly crispy and well-seasoned, and I really couldn't have asked for more with my meal. I left feeling very full and happy, and I'll for sure be back! If not to try the other menu items, definitely to order that Toad in the Hole again

Desiree D.

Yelp
Great brunch find on capital hill. Luckily it wasn't too busy when we arrived and we were able to get right in. Cute interior where each different section was different and unique. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious. It was perfectly juicy and crispy at the same time. The fries were nicely seasoned not soggy.

Tiana K.

Yelp
Visited with a group for a friend's birthday brunch and the staff couldn't be more accommodating! We thought there would be 7 of us but when 2 additional people showed up unexpectedly, everyone was friendly and gracious and moved us to a larger table without fuss. They treated the birthday girl like a queen throughout the entire brunch-- service was stellar. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meals. Deviled Eggs were PERFECT! Will definitely have them again. I also had the House Scramble and it was hearty and satisfying. The white toast was especially good and kind of made me want to try the French Toast next time. The icing on the cake was the Olmstead Mocktail. I'm a big fan of zero-proof cocktails and this one is tropical and fruity, absolutely DELICIOUS, and aesthetically pleasing. You won't even miss the alcohol. All my friends who were drinking alcohol were inquiring about what I ordered and how they could get something so pretty themselves :) TL;DR Great for groups, especially birthdays. If alcohol isn't your thing, definitely try the Olmstead Mocktail!

Nick C.

Yelp
Stopped by for some brunch on a busy Sunday and we got in pretty quickly. I was surprised how big the ace is inside, but it looked nice inside and didn't feel too big. My breakfast sandwich was pretty good. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting, but I was hungry so that was a bonus. The potatoes were also delicious. Definitely a cute place for a fun weekend brunch.

Richie D.

Yelp
After having a spontaneous night out with Seattle boyfriends on Capitol Hill, we were hunting for a restaurant off Broadway that could accommodate seven of us without a reservation or long wait. Olmsted's came to the rescue! All of our food came out quickly and was enjoyable. Whether it was wings, Mac n cheese, burgers, salads or otherwise, we all left satisfied. They also had some unique and fun cocktail options. I most particularly impressed with the friendly service. Our waitress, who had a gorgeous South African accent, was extremely sweet and willing to do individual tabs when settling the bill (one of the most frustrating things about group dining). Funny enough, it turned out that all three business owners were working that Saturday evening serving tables due to staff members having taken time off. I was extremely impressed by this! They still had smiles on their faces, great sense of humor, while making sure we were taken care of on multiple occasions. Sadly I didn't capture too many photos but the management alone deserved every one of the five stars.

Divya P.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for brunch in Cap Hill! It's a pretty big place, so the wait isn't too long (maybe 10-15 minutes on a Sunday). On to the best thing about this place - their Shakshuka! It's got a lot of great spices and the feta on top just brings it altogether :)

Jen S.

Yelp
Absolutely love the eclectic vibe. I had the Shakshuka and it was delicious. They even brought me additional bread so I could scoop up all the deliciousness. Everyone else in my party really seem to enjoy their meal. Service was super friendly and very attentive. I don't know if it was the owner that came over but if he is, he did a great job making us feel super welcome and came back even later to ask us how our meal was.

Eva L.

Yelp
Food isn't bad. It's your typical french toast or eggs and toast diner-like brunch food. I got the French toast with apple compote since I like sweet breakfast items and it was good but nothing wowed me. I will say the ambience was nice and the table we sat at was full of bright light and pretty jungle-like green decor which was fun!

Jamie B.

Yelp
Everything was great. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and our server was one of the best hosts I've ever had (thanks, Kaylee!). It was a great time with great service. The next time I'm there, it's a must stop!

Xiaolu G.

Yelp
Cute location for brunch. If you get a reservation, they put you in the back where the decor is nicer. I got the Olmstead burger which was pretty good + not too greasy. It was a bit too sweet for me though.

Karen L.

Yelp
I have to say the food here is solid. I have been here several times and always super yummy. Service there is good as well even if there can be a bit of a wait at times but that's just a testament to how yummy it is.

Monica M.

Yelp
Food was delicious with wonderful seasonal ingredients! Service was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. My friends and I were visiting Seattle for the weekend to celebrate our birthdays. We wanted to visit Capitol Hill as we heard the area had wonderful , quaint, shops. The energy here inspired a great morning. We visited on a Saturday morning before 11am. I suggest getting there early as the place was becoming pretty busy just as we were leaving. We shared the French toast, Corned & braised lamb, and the Complete breakfast sandwich. All 10/10!

Lush L.

Yelp
The staff made this establishment shine. FOH always provided prompt, friendly service. Kitchen always provided comforting, well curated entrees. Where else can I get a chicken salad sandwich or a toad in the hole? Fancy cocktails that made you feel like you were on vacation? Olmstead created a landing pad for area locals, brunch visitors, and everyone in-between. I will miss them, terribly.

Amani C.

Yelp
My brunch group and I came on a Sunday. Hands down the best omelette I've ever had! (Leek and mushroom). The cocktails were delicious! Our service was amazing (Selene was our server, she's a rockstar!) The owner came over and took pictures for us, super sweet. This place has great food and a great vibe! @seatownbrunchbaddies

Vanessa R.

Yelp
The food was pretty great, but the menu was very small and very pricey! The service was ok but nothing outstanding. Drinks were good but also a pretty penny, but it was a cute place and I may consider returning for one of their viewing parties.

Anshul S.

Yelp
Service 2/5 Asked for hot sauce twice Once when we places the order Next when we got the food got it after 3/4th of our food was finished Waited good 10-15 mins after our food was done to even ask for check. Food was mediocre Fried chicken sandwich had no flavor whatsoever, the skin was all falling off. Toad in the hole This was good, caramelized onions were the one adding most of the flavor to this. The potatoes were not good though, not crispy at all. Ordered espresso martini for the drink and it was good, not great but not bad either. The restaurant definitely is very aesthetically pleasing from inside, would definitely go again for may be coffee or drinks.

Terry F.

Yelp
I am sure that this is a popular place during the weekends with its solid menu of favorites. It was fairly quiet when I visited, however. I had the deviled eggs and smash burger on a recent Saturday early evening. Good quality and tasty food. Service was quick and efficient. Prices were really good (due to the Happy Hour pricing).

Kathe W.

Yelp
Stopped here with a friend while visiting and was pleasantly surprised. We had been told to get the brioche French toast and while it was good the House scramble was really the star of the meal. In my opinion the french toast was a little sweet for me and I wish there was a little more crunch to add a little texture (was very soft and squishy which wasn't horrible but really not something to write home about). The scramble we ordered on a whim to get protein in our meal and OH MAN this was amazing. Savory and flavorful with a little hint of smokiness. The portions are very generous and the service is great. We went just as they opened so it was empty but there is a lot of seating and the atrium is a very cute area for brunch with friends. I think I would swing by here if I was in the area but wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit.

Miriam A.

Yelp
A group of friends and I were craving Shakshuka, so we Yelped a spot and were led here! This is a very cute spot for a quick snack or happy hour! We did not make a reservation and were seated and served very quickly. The interior space was designed very fun with lots of colors and plants all around. Cute spot to come with friends! The Shakshuka was perfect to satisfy our craving, very yummy!

Yelp
Food was a bit mediocre and nothing so special. Service was great and great ambiance.

Yelp
Wonderful service! Cute decor. French toast was too sweet for me, but my son loved it. I enjoyed the toad in the hole, but it did not have much flavor. The complete breakfast sandwich was also good and the better of the two dishes. Overall a good breakfast place to try.

Yelp
Great service on a weekday mid morning. Really enjoyed the Bloody Mary. The coffee was fine but not great. The potato's were savory and seasoned well, I didn't love the toad in the hole but my friend really enjoyed her breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
Had brunch here on a Sunday. Only had to wait 15 minutes for a party of 3. Super cute interior (floral aesthetic) and picture worthy presentation. For drinks we got a Baileys in Cold Brew ($12), Cold Brew ($5), and Peachy Aperol Spritz ($12). Food: -Toad in a Hole ($16) -Complete Breakfast Sandwich ($16) Both were great! LOVE the brioche bread they use. Nicely crispy breakfast potatoes. Great service.

Yelp
Olmstead is always surprisingly good. I think I have an impression it's not going to be because the interior design, while thoughtfully considered around the owner's personal taste, isn't really for me but I have never been disappointed eating here. I've had both brunch and dinner here on a few occasions and everything is usually pretty tasty. Recently I had happy hour eats here and was really surprised by how delicious the food was for the value. I had a smash burger which was a perfect beef, cheese and onion combo with few frills. WE enjoyed some deviled eggs which were a bit too sweet for me but still pretty good. But wow, you need to try to the chicken wings with their BBQ sauce + cilantro ranch; they're easily some of my favorite wings I've ever had because they're huge and they're super decadent with that sauce combo. I've also had a kale salad or two here in the morning and it's always super fresh and tasty. Service here is fine with classic Seattle hipster folks mostly employed. The interior looks like an aging Miami-based grandma had carte blanche to decorate the space; it's more tastefully considered than I'm describing it there but only sort of. Recommended!

Yelp
Drinks were great. I forgot my purse there and when I called five minutes later, they had held onto it for me, which was really kind. could have done without the waitress' comments about me and my group's appearances though. Very odd.
