The Restaurants & Bars Featured On "Love Is Blind," Ranked - Seattle - The Infatuation

"We loved that this Columbia City espresso bar got some shine. The terazzo-covered space set the scene for one of the most refreshing moments all season—when Micah’s family welcomed Paul with open arms, even though Micah’s dad suggested that Paul could be a serial killer. More than anything, we’re just happy to see cast members drink from regular coffee cups instead of those mysterious metallic goblets." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo

Olympia Coffee - Review - Columbia City - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Olympia is the perfect terrazzo-covered backdrop for a solo work day where you can enjoy a morning latte while finding multiple excuses to stay just a few more minutes. Lines can be long on the weekends, but leisurely browsing the nearby shelves stocked with chic coffee accessories and bags of beans from all over the world is a great way to kill the time. The matcha lemonade is tangy with an earthy kick, and we love that they serve everything from chocolate croissants to Umami Kushi okazu pan as snacks. photo credit: Olympia Coffe" - Kayla Sager-Riley

Olympia Coffee Is Now Open in Columbia City | Eater Seattle

"In Columbia City, I visited Olympia Coffee's new Seattle flagship, which opened on Rainier Avenue and South Edmunds Street in a brightly lit 1,750-square-foot space inside a historic 1920s building. The shop houses a cafe, a training facility, and a community room for local businesses and nonprofits, and it follows the chain's West Seattle expansion in 2018 as its second Seattle-area location. I found the cafe currently featuring a mix of Ethiopian and Colombian roasts among its signature fair-trade coffees, and offering a rotating list of snacks (pastries, sandwiches, salads and savory items). They hope their process of caramelizing the sugars within roasts—resulting in sweeter-tasting brews—will help them stand out in a neighborhood with nearby competition." - Gabe Guarente

Olympia Coffee Plans New Location in Columbia City | Eater Seattle

"South Seattle should get ready for a big caffeine boost: Olympia Coffee, the chain from Washington’s capital that has won barista competitions and awards for its fair trade–focused brews, is planning to open a 1,750-square-foot Seattle flagship in Columbia City this winter. Located on Rainier Avenue and South Edmunds Street in a historic 1920s building (the former Starbucks), the space will house a cafe, a training facility, and a community room for local businesses and nonprofits, with an expanded menu of pastries and small bites still in the works. This will be Olympia Coffee’s second Seattle-area location after a West Seattle expansion in 2018, and it hopes to stand out through an intricate roasting process that caramelizes the sugars within the coffee beans for sweeter, smoother brews and by experimenting with concoctions like iced coffee with tonic, house-made coconut syrup, and candied lemon. On Instagram they announced the Columbia City shop will feature sandwiches and salads from Seattle-based Homegrown and okazu pan from Japanese street-food purveyors Umami Kushi." - Gabe Guarente

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here—it's a perfect location for slowing down and savoring a well-crafted coffee. I opted for the espresso flight, which featured their 'Sweetheart' and 'Big Truck' blends side-by-side. While the Big Truck was bold and robust, the brighter, more delicate notes of the Sweetheart blend won me over. A fantastic way to appreciate the subtleties of their espresso.

The hazelnut black sesame latte was so well executed!! As a specialty latte connoisseur I was doubtful of how the flavors would blend together however it ended up being well balanced, didn’t taste artificial and so delicious. The place brought it so much natural light and my heart lit up at the ”feed Gaza” flyers. love a cafe with a conscience

The iced matcha latte is to die for at Olympia Coffee. Black Lives Matter sign posted outside, oh don't mind if I do...I am at the right place. The establishment was clean, the staff was kind and there was not a long wait at all. My only suggestion is that I would like to see more Black and people of color workers! If you want a delicious snack, check out the marionberry pastry. Not too sweet but hits the spot! I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I did.

A Soulful Surprise in Columbia City — Where Community and Jazz Collide I stepped out for a breath of fresh air during a break from my wellness work just above Rookies in Columbia City, seeking a moment to reset from the stillness I often create for others. As I strolled toward my neighborhood BECU, something unexpected stopped me mid-step—music. The sound of live jazz, rich and full, poured into the street like medicine for the spirit. It wasn’t just background sound—it was a feeling. Olympic Coffee Roasting had transformed into a living soundscape, hosting Jazz Night School for a fundraiser that not only lifted notes into the air, but raised the vibration of the entire block. In a world that often forgets the magic of gathering, this was a moment that reminded me why I chose this community. Here, art is not separate from healing, and music is not separate from movement. Businesses collaborate, uplift, and show up for something greater than themselves. I returned to my space—with my hands ready to serve and my heart refilled. Thank you, Olympic Coffee, for anchoring beauty, rhythm, and togetherness in our neighborhood. What you hosted wasn’t just an event—it was a frequency shift. People from across the world should know: Columbia City is where spirit, culture, and community unite.

A beautiful and energetic space, perfect for a creative coffee, sweet treat and long working sessions. The retro store paired with plenty of natural light, the delicious coffee smell and upbeat music playing makes the cafe so inviting and perfect to people watch or work with the free WiFi and outlets. I’ve been several times and the service is always friendly and patient, and the new coffee features are so fun and seasonal. What always impresses me the most is the pastry options, like their peach strudel or caramel chocolate sunken cookie - so delicious with excellent flavoring true to their described names.

One of my favorite spots in Seattle. They have incredible coffee and pastries from a variety of shops. The space is super inviting and is a great place to hang out and get work done. Cannot recommend enough

Great hot chocolate and friendly service. They also happen to use my favorite mugs from NotNeutral — perfect handles. Vibe is not loud, plenty of laptop/working spaces. The only thing missing is comfy seating but seems great for focusing. Bonus points for such a gorgeous plant!

This is a good space to plug in that has lots of natural light and is open later in the day, every day. It was pretty busy around 3pm when I went -- barely any seats open. I had a plain latte which was pretty good quality -- I'd drink it any day. They had a great-looking pastry case, typical of what I've seen at a lot of Seattle coffee shops. The marionberry biscuit was just decent -- kind of dry and not as rich as your average biscuit. Overall, it's a pretty solid shop that probably has a lot of fans!
