Olympus Dining

I had a very enjoyable dining experience at Olympus Dining during my visit to Sydney. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a vibrant energy that makes it a really nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food was excellent. The menu focuses on Mediterranean-style cuisine and every dish we tried was well prepared, flavourful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to quality ingredients and balanced flavours. Service was also very good. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, making sure everything throughout the meal went smoothly even when the restaurant was quite busy. Overall, it was a great dining experience with both good food and good service. I would definitely recommend Olympus Dining to anyone looking for a nice meal in Sydney.

We had the most magical dinner at Olympus Dining in Redfern on a Saturday night, and I'm still raving about it! The moment we stepped inside, the interior was breathtaking and extraordinary, a stunning modern Greek-inspired space with soaring ceilings, a massive central olive tree, elegant arches, and that incredible operable glass roof that lets in the most dreamy light. Everyone was snapping photos left and right; it's truly an influencer's heaven with that perfect mix of ancient vibes and chic luxury. There was a little wait for our table, but honestly, it was worth it just to soak in the ambience and decor that stood out so much. We opted for the set menu, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The quality, taste, flavors, and portions were wonderful, fresh, authentic Greek dishes executed with real finesse. I would definitely book again as I would like to try the lamb which looked superb, the table next to us ordered it and I could smell the aromas straightaway. Everything was flavorful, beautifully presented, and generous enough to leave us happily satisfied. Our waiter was exceptionally lovely and friendly, with the warmest vibe. She checked in on us a couple of times, made great recommendations, and just added to the overall welcoming feel. If you're looking for a spot that's as visually stunning as it is delicious, Olympus Dining is a must-try. It will not disappoint—go for the vibes, stay for the food!

Absolutely loved this Greek restaurant. The place is stunning: beautifully designed and with such a great atmosphere. I highly recommend making a reservation because it’s always busy (and for good reason!). The food is outstanding and the service is truly amazing: attentive, warm and professional. I had the best octopus I’ve ever tasted, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The meatballs were also delicious and incredibly satisfying. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommended 🤍

Walking into Olympus, the atmosphere was impeccable. Vibes were amazing and it felt extremely luxurious. Most staff were welcoming and friendly however, our table server was unfriendly and slightly dismissive. Our food was alright, wouldn’t justify the price point especially for the lamb w tzatziki as it was extremely gamey/mushy which indicates it wasn’t cooked properly as-well as the chicken coming out burnt. Flavour wise it was nice kind of like El Jannah’s chicken but not sure if it’s meant to be served like that; reminded me of times my parents would tell me not to eat burnt food as it’ll give me cancer. When we asked our server to take photos for us, she looked visibly annoyed and it made us feel uncomfortable. A bit more friendliness in that moment would have made a big difference to the overall experience. Although mains/starters weren’t mind blowing, the complimentary frozen yoghurt was AMAZING. On top of this, our server had charged us the incorrect bill (undercharged us) and once we had already left the premises they called again to recharge the remainder. Small mistakes and inconveniences like this is what deters customers. I don’t think the food is worth the hype however great ambiance for cute/aesthetic pics for a girls night out! Would prefer to spend $350 elsewhere.

We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon! We were thoroughly impressed by every dish we tried, and the service was truly second to none. Despite the restaurant being completely full, our meals arrived incredibly quickly without ever feeling rushed. A special thank you to our waitress, Allama—she was excellent, taking the time to beautifully explain our meals while being so attentive to our every need. We’ll definitely be recommending you to all our family and friends, and we can’t wait to come back!"

The definition of a lazy long lunch. The vibe here asks you to sit back, relax, be fed and be merry. Wonderful setting with both indoor and outdoor (undercover if needs be). The wine list is huge, the cocktails refreshing and the service super friendly. If you're really hungry and have plenty of time go for the Olympus set, it's all encompassing, tasty and great value.

We went for a family dinner as we'd heard the food was amazing. The food certainly didn't disappoint but celiacs beware! Standout dishes included Kefalotyri Saganaki, Arnaki, Souvlakia Kotopoulo, and the hand-cut chips. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant fit-out superb! Our server, however, was not up to scratch. She didn't take one of our party's celiac requirements very seriously and seemed annoyed by questions about the menu. At one point, she asked, "Well, do you have an EpiPen?" as if that was the solution to any accidental exposure. Server note: gluten intolerance doesn't cause anaphylaxis. However, her finest moment came when we were asking about the different wines, her advice, perhaps to help move things along, was "well if you don't care about wine, get the Canberra one". Otherwise, a lovely night with family.

I took my two daughters plus my cousins from South Australia here as I was recommended that they were the best for Greek cuisine. When we arrived, the atmosphere was very nice i have to admit. We looked at the menu and decided we start with the octopus, chips and calamari. The calamari were the first thing on the table and when it arrived we had to ask what it was cause we all were expecting like fried calamari, which looked more like a twisted pasta and the plate didn’t even look like it had much (7 people eating). This dish didn’t reach our expectations. Then the octopus came out and that, i could not fault and the plate was full. We also ordered the Fava and olives along with some house bread. Then we ordered mains, chicken, pork skewers and the large serving of roasted lamb along with 2 Greek salads. Everything was flavourful. So the only downside was that the salads, cost $26 each, didn’t really have enough in the plate. As mentioned before, i payed $36 for the octopus but we got a full plate as for the calamari, it was $32 so we were better off ordering 3 octopus. We ordered desserts and they were very good, just wish there was actually more rice in the rice pudding as we could taste more custard than rice. All up we still enjoyed everything and my cousins were still happy. Only wish they did something with the music as we were struggling to talk to each other unless we yelled it out.
