"On the Upper West Side, Omakase 95 is the newest entrant to thesub-$100 omakase scenein NYC. They offer two options—a 12-course menu for $49, and a 15-course menu for $69. Just know that tables have a 75-minute seating limit." - Willa Moore

Amazing omakase experience — great food, great vibes, even greater people! We stopped by Omakase 95 for their grand opening lunch special and had such a wonderful time. The chefs and staff were incredibly friendly — they made the whole experience feel warm, relaxed, and fun. You can really tell they love what they do! The food was so fresh and beautifully prepared. Every piece was delicious — from the handroll to the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu and all the nigiri in between. The pacing was smooth, and we could watch the chefs preparing everything right in front of us. It felt personal and thoughtful without being too serious. Their 14-course Chiba set during the 30% grand opening promo was such an amazing value. We also tried the Zaku sake, which paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, highly recommend! Great hospitality, great quality, and such an enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back again soon! 🍣✨

Absolutely loved this restaurant! It was the best omakase experience of my life — every course was incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The price is very fair, not overpriced at all for the quality you get. The place is spotless, modern, and beautifully designed, and you can truly feel the professionalism and passion of the team. Everything was on a very high level, from service to presentation. They also mentioned that more non-alcoholic wines will be available starting January 2026, which is a great addition. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! My favorites are oyster shooter, mini donburi, and kampachi

This omakase place was one of my best experiences. Our chef Alex was incredible. We had the 15 course and every course was amazing, the fish was so incredibly fresh. The textures, flavors, umami of how each sushi was done was perfect. A joy in each bite with fresh ginger to cleanse each palate. We liked it so much we got some additional items like the scallop, oysters shooter, and king salmon. The donburi had this perfect wood smokey smell as soon as you opened it and the chef special was full of flavor. We can't wait to go back!

Brand new omakase spot! I dropped by yesterday for dinner and chose the premium omakase and everything was amazing! You get 15 courses for $69 which is a great deal! Usually I walk out of omakase still hungry, but the cuts were fresh and filling! And the service was wonderful and everyone was so kind! Would recommend everyone to go and try!

Amazing quality omakase experience for a reasonable price. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good, nothing over the top. The fish was outstanding and the chef took time to explain each course. They’re running a promo right now so def check them out! Even with out the promo deal still amazing value. Will definitely return.

Great new spot in UWS! Will certainly be my new go to omakase spot. Every dish was amazing. The service was also incredible and the attention to detail was top tier! I am a lefty and the chef noticed and served me my pieces so I could pick them up with my left hand. I highly recommend the sake they have on tap. 10/10 spot!

This was such a delicious lunch! The UWS has been in need of a spot like Omakase 95. The quality of the fish was bested only by the quality of the service! Abbi, Iko, and Ekhan took such amazing care of us!! If you’re thinking of booking, this is an absolute must. Can’t wait to come back!!

I was really craving some omakase and was in the neighborhood and was told about this place opening up so decided to check it out. The staff, specifically Abbie, was amazing! Super kind and very welcoming 😊 We came here as a walk-in and thankfully they were able to accommodate the 4 of us because it definitely got busy for dinner! My in-laws haven't really ever had omakase, but love sushi and they lost their minds at how delicious everything was. They're not going to be able to go back to "regular" sushi after that 😂 Chef Alex was really nice and did a great job keeping up with lots of patrons and the order of groupings. What's also nice about Omakase 95 is that they have the menu list for that day/night so you can also see what you're eating with some additional detail and you can see what's coming next. We all got the premium omakase because why not? 😊 My in-laws are pescetarians so they missed out on the A5 wagyu (which was delicious!), but their substitution was equally delicious! It was a great time and I can't wait to go back! It's a long trek from south Brooklyn, but I think I'll have to come back sooner rather than later 😊

Yelp
Unbelievable experience! Easily the best omakase I have ever had at an incredibly reasonable price. Every bite was better than the last. I found myself closing my eyes to enjoy each of the unique flavors. The chefs were knowledgeable and passionate about each dish they served to us. My favorite dish was the king salmon course. The service was impeccable. I'm excited to go back soon with more friends. The restaurant was also gorgeous! It's brand new with a little bit of work still being done. You can tell the crew is truly putting their hearts into this restaurant.
