Yelp
Omakase by Korami is a budget-friendly omakase that serves 15 courses and has a time limit of 1 hour.
Maybe it's because it was a rainy, dreary day or we were just ready to eat, but each of the pieces served was pretty good - I did notice that most of the fish seemed to be seared and heavily sauced, which may mask the actual fish's freshness.
We also added a couple of Chef Specials - the King Kong (with wagyu, toro, scallop, and uni) and the Kama Toro, which at the end, thought it was unnecessary, as the omakase meal itself was pretty filling. I recommend in adding any additional items once you get closer to the end of your meal.
The team was friendly and had a good sense of humor - I did notice that a couple sitting next to us seemed to either be friends of the chef or were 'regular's, as they received extra portions and orders for free, and this was not offered to the rest of the guests - this kind of left a bad taste in our mouths.
The time limit is hard, so when the 1 hour is up, the staff starts wiping down and gets ready for the next seating.
There are a couple of bar tables to wait, but usually, it's best to come right at your seating time.
