One of our favorite sushi restaurants ever. The sushi is amazing but what really sets this place off is the up close and personal experience you feel and see. It's not just fancy quiet chefs making sushi. They are very attentive to the customers and enjoy talking and joking around. I'll be back in April! 2nd time was just as amazing as the first.

My girlfriend was on a mission to find the absolute best sushi in Las Vegas so for her birthday we decided to try Omakase. What an absolute gem 💎 we found. Our dining experience was nothing less than stellar. 5 star? More like 7 diamond. The toro was so good and the skewers were incredible.. After we took a shot of sake with the owner his son was kind enough to bring out the most delicious cheese cake and sing happy birthday with us. Words can't explain how amazing our night was.. thank you again and see you soon 💗..

Review 1: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a fantastic dining experience at this Omakase restaurant! The customer service was outstanding - the staff were so friendly and attentive, and they made the whole evening so enjoyable. The price for the omakase was very reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service. The chef's selection was incredibly fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch omakase experience with great customer service, reasonable prices, and the freshest seafood!

I must say I was never a big fan of sushi. However this experience was mind blowing. The staff were all friendly and super informative about the various meals, ingredients and what to expect. One of the best dining experiences of my life, favorite meal was the Waygu 🤩

Google
The late night menu and skewers were delicious. The service was spotty though. Forgot quite a few things we ordered and the server complained multiple times about us being there…while they were still opened (?).

Went for my husband's birthday. This was a unique way to enjoy sushi. The atmosphere was very casual. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The Omakase had some very interesting flavors. I've never had a meal like that and I'm glad we were able to experience such a place. Thank you for making the evening so wonderful.

Yelp
WOW!!!! WOWWWGYU!! WAUUUWGYUU GALORE OH MY G Nikki and Pauline were my servers today. I came here for my boyfriend's birthday! We ordered the matsu which is the 3rd tier/option of course meals for Omakase! It's $138 The first one is Ume $78 Second is Take $108 Third is Matsu $138 We went for the matsu because we are wagyu lovers!! Call us dogs cause our tails are waggin WOOF WOOF Anyways this review is funny because the wagyu was so good, it melted in our mouths. The sashimi was also beautiful. We ordered ChuToro on the side and the marbling was GIVING MARBLE!!! So good If you want a Japanese experience that also is inexpensive compared to other places, this place is the joint to be at. The cold and hot duos were delicious too. Nikki and Pauline worked together to ensure we had a great omakase experience and allowed us to understand every little thing on the menu. We are so pleased and excited to come back here again in the future. Thank you all for the experience that was on our bucketlist! Will be dining again soon :)

Yelp
This review is for their late night menu 5 stars Oysters - I really liked the touch of grapefruit Ribcap - super tender 4 stars Chutoro nigiri Scallop nigiri Chicken thigh Sirloin cap - not as tender as the ribcap but I liked that it was meatier Chicken cartilage - it had a little bit of meat along with the cartilage (most places just give cartilage by itself) 3 stars Beef tongue - tongue was decent; didn't think the sesame oil was a good dip for it Chicken oyster - my wife didn't like that it had a little bit of a smoky taste to it Chicken skin 2 stars Agedashi tofu - the sauce was super bland Chicken tail - I'm supposed to eat the tail bone in it... right? Tried it because it was different, I just didn't really care for the texture Chicken liver - liver just isn't really my thing Chicken Tsukune - both the skewer and the egg dipping sauce didn't really do it for me Salmon & avocado temaki - the seaweed was soggy rather than crispy; when you bite into it, it's kind of chewy and hard to rip off

Yelp
I used to frequent Kyara when it was an izakaya and decided to give it try since the prices seemed reasonable. However, when I visited on April 20, I was surprised to find that the prices had increased, as this information wasn't updated on their website or Yelp. Opting for the $100 course, as it was the only one offering sashimi, I found it amusing that the priciest option included a chirashi bowl instead of sashimi (I don't eat rice). Comparing the quality and price, I realized I could have gone to Sushi Hiroyoshi, which offers far superior quality for a similar price. Nonetheless, Kyara offers a more casual dining experience. The meal began with a beet salad and asparagus, which were average and nothing extraordinary. Then came an oyster and poached egg dish with ikura, which was overly salty for my taste due to the shoyu + ikura sauce and ikura itself is already salty. Thrid dish was chawanmushi and steamed pork belly. The chawanmushi with shrimp and ikura had a salty sauce, but the egg itself lacked flavor. Shrimp was pretty chewy but the steam pork belly skewer was the best in town. But at this point, I was super duper full after eating so many egg dishes. The sashimi course, accompanied by seaweed and rice (which I wasn't interested in), featured mediocre quality. While they offered fancy fish like otoro, itoyori, and sawara, the otoro tasted typical, and the sawara differed from what I've had elsewhere. Unfortunately, there wasn't much variety for fans of white fish or snappers. Towards the end, we were served a fish bone soup, which I wished had been served earlier, followed by a delicious chocolate cake for dessert. The service was alright, I didn't feel rushed, although the server seemed rushed, if that makes sense. I found it strange when she asked if we wanted her to explain the sashimi. I mean, I've been eating sushi for 30 years and even have some experience working in the industry, so I know what kinds of fish they are. But it's still her job to explain, regardless. Overall, the meal left me feeling extremely full, particularly after the chawanmushi. I felt that the appetizers could have been lighter and better, as there was an overwhelming amount of egg. While the sashimi could have been improved, I understand that Kyara is more of a casual omakase spot.

Yelp
The Matsu menu is a must for the experience. The service from the chef and waitresses was top notch! Chef was kind enough to provide me with some sake samples as well, which was really dope! Every meal course was a perfect 5/5 from Taste to Plating presentation. Really recommend this place for an Omakase experience.

Yelp
This place has 5 stars for a reason!! Amazing and friendly service, delicious food, beautiful preparation & presentation, and clean, beautiful restaurant. I originally tasted a bit of their food and interacted with some of them at a Yelp elite event and knew that I had to come try their food fresh and in their restaurant so my husband and I booked a Valentine's Day dinner to try their menus! Upon entering, we were greeted and sat! Although not at the bar, we enjoyed our table in the adjacent room. We were offered complimentary sparkling wine as it was Valentine's Day and were handed the menu offering Ume $68 or Take at $98. We ordered the $98 Take menu for each of us so we could try it all and we definitely were not disappointed!! Food: The first course that included the oyster, Branzino, and chawanmushi were delightful with the salty and fresh notes, a warm, silky note, and perfectly cooked fish note. The second course included 12 assorted sashimi with sushi rice and nori and it was some of the best and freshest sashimi I've had. No fishy tastes, and most melted in your mouth. We were also encouraged to use the sushi rice and nori to make hand rolls whenever we wanted, and you could ask for more if needed. We ended our third course with a miso soup, and we were stuffed! I was nervous that it wouldn't be much food, but it was perfect! Almost didn't order the strawberry dream dessert, but why not?! Drink: in addition to the sparkling wine, we ordered the Yuzu Sake, Shibata, "Black" and the Mochi Sparkling Uni Matcha w/ white strawberry. Both were delicious and refreshing! Service: immaculate. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, what was being served, and what could pair well with menu items. She was also very personable and moved us along with our courses well as it was our first time. Overall, would love to come here again for a date night with my husband! I can see why this place is rated so highly!

Yelp
10/10!!! When you walk in you're seated and we chose to sit at the bar. I called 20 mins before we arrived and booked a reservation. It did get busier once we started eating so I'm glad I called in. We opted for the "take" premium omakase and it was delicious and filling. For $98 per person, the quality of fish was top tier. I did order an additional wagyu ribeye with foie gras skewer and it was tasty. Extremely fatty, chewy and soft. I'd order the skewer again. The hand roll set for the "take" came with toro, salmon, and different variety of dishes. It was an interactive experience because you made the roll yourself which I thought was the coolest part. You can add as much or as little rice as possible to your hand roll. The platter came with the fish, the rice and seaweed. Be prepared to be extremely full, they course it out slowly and it hits you all at the end how full you'll be. Don't come extremely hungry and order appetizers cus it'll be too much by the end of your omakase meal. The ambiance had a chill vibe to it, nothing special but perfect for a casual dinner and yummy food. The bar overlooks the prep area and everything is made and cut fresh. The servers were a little rushed. I would recommend kyara to someone wanting a cool and yummy experience.

Yelp
I decided to come here because I saw a YouTube video and they hyped it up so much. So I made reservations a week out and noticed how many time slots they had available. Even up to a few hours before we were supposed to be there, I decided to change our reservation to an earlier time because we got in to Vegas earlier than expected. It's about a 20 minute drive from the strip off of the 215 Jones St. We got in and the restaurant has bar seating and some table seating available. It's a pretty small restaurant so if you are coming with a big party, I would suggest making reservations. We both went for the Take set which came out to $108pp. I also ordered the pork belly, pork jowl, chicken gizzards, chicken skin and chicken heart skewers. The pork items are pricer than the chicken items. I thought that the everything except for the gizzards was really good. The sauce and charcoal added to the meats. The Tare set was actually enough and came out timely. The fish was very fresh as I couldn't smell or taste any of the fishiness. Overall, the service was great and the food was good. But I do feel that other items outside of the sashimi were just ok, not great. Maybe I am expecting it to wow me, I don't know. I probably would not go out of my way to come here again. The funny thing is that the YouTubers that turned me on to this place actually came in later through our meal. I was going to say hi, but decided not to bother them.

Yelp
We were introduced to Kyara at a recent Yelp event and were excited to dine at their restaurant to experience their version of Omakase. Right off the bat, everyone was very friendly and professional. The bar seating is raised and gives you a nice view into how the chefs create the meal you are about to enjoy. Everyone was knowledgeable about the menu and they took time to ask about our allergies and preferences. They even have a sommelier on board who educated us on various Japanese wines and how to interpret various sake offerings. Although this felt like a very upscale experience, it was balanced by a nice familiar sense of comfort. Some highlights: - Blue shrimp chawanmushi: this was a beautiful steamed egg dish filled with umami flavors and hearty shrimps tucked at the bottom; a first for me and quite delicious! - Oyster with mignonette: a nice eclectic spin on Parisian-style oysters, I could have possibly devoured half a dozen of these - Tuna sashimi was my favorite, there were two thick cuts of a decadent fish that melted in your mouth - Scallop with uni, chef's kiss baby! This was amazing. Overall, the other offerings allowed us to taste fish that we would not normally order. I appreciate being able to compare mackerels. The best part of the experience is that you get to make your own handrolls. This particularly appealed to me because I like to skip out on too much rice! We sealed our meal with a delicious matcha dessert. Thanks for having us, we cannot wait to come back and try the izakaya menu!

Yelp
Might be the best otoro I have ever had. Every piece of fish we had was just delicious. Be prepared to spend some bucks. It will take some pocket change to get full. This experience really put a different perspective of food for me. I ended up ordering this 3 times and I felt satisfied. My tastebuds were on fire!! In the best way possible. I'll be back to enjoy this bite of food again soon.

Yelp
I stopped by for a weekday dinner with some friends to catch up over Omakase and some drinks. We had a blast. This Sushi House vibe is alive and well at Kyara. We sat at a table and our server was on point. She explained the whole process and sashimi item for our Ume Omakase experience. They surprised my friend with a birthday dessert and she loved it! Great service. It starts with the shrimp Chawanamush (it was kind of a custard texture, my first try and I loved it), branzino and a poached oyster All the sashimis were fresh and yum. I loved how the gave us rice, seaweed and pickles so I could make my own handroll. Everything was on point. We added some skewers as well: Bacon Asparagus Pork Belly King Mushroom Chicken Thigh I washed everything down with a Toki Japanese highball. The miso soup ended the course and it was savory. This was a fun Omakase experience that I'd definitely check out again. It's a great casual date night experience. Cheers!

Yelp
Let's start off by saying I'm a huge sushi and omakase fan so l came in here with high expectations. Needless to say, they didn't disappoint. I did the best omakase and it was great price point. Otoro was to die for. And of course I had to do the Japanese A5 Wagyu, Next level. Service was on point and I did wine pairings recommended by their on site Som. Server recommended some amazing handrolls that paired perfectly as well. We sat at a table but honestly best spot looks like the bar. You can actually watch the chefs prepare your food. The server told me they have a tuna cutting event that l'm gonna be on the look out for. If you're looking for good food at an amazing price this is the spot.

Yelp
Valentines date was a success! We went here not really knowing what to expect as I wasn't familiar with the Omakase (one bite tastes)- which I was overjoyed with! We shared the more expensive with 12 sashimi options! It was plenty of food for us along with a waygu skewer. The servers were all amazing on top of keeping us well fed and drinks full. The food came out quick. We enjoyed for about 2 hours to really enjoy the restaurant and atmosphere. We sat at the bar so got to watch the chefs making the orders as well! Beautiful presentation and pricing is to be expected for the quality we received!
google avatar

Nancy Q.

Yelp
The omakase preparation made the food worse than it needed to be. We ordered the Take and watched them prepare it. All 12 sashimi are prepared and served at once. This is why some of the fish slices were dried out. The first fish are sliced and plated, waiting for the rest of the 12 pieces to join them and drying in the process. The miso soup was so salty. All 4 people in my party did not finish it. The food was not worth the cost at all. The service was friendly. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
Is my boyfriend's birthday, and I decided to book this restaurant again, The food and the service are wonderful, definitely will come back again!

Yelp
Came with a friend after he and I both wanted so fresh sushi. Was very happy with their take on Omakase here. They serve you sashimi and as much sushi rice/seaweed as you want and you get to pick your own adventure. It's a generous amount of very very fresh fish. They only have it available until around 9pm I believe. You can also order other smaller dishes after 9pm so I suggest you show up around 8:30 to get the best of both words. I was able to order a couple of their skewers that were also fantastic. For the quality as well as diversity of the menu I don't think you can beat kyara for its price in Vegas. It's a little bit off the beaten path and not walkable from the strip but was an easy 12 minute ride from the hotel we were staying at. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an excellent Japanese meal.

Yelp
Stop everything and try this place! It is an enjoyable experience to share with some other sushi lovers. Make a reservation as the place is cute but has limited seating. We ordered the 12piece Omakase to share between 2 people and it was more than enough food for us. They do provide extra rice and nori if requested. The fish is high quality and all the flavors were engaging at every bite. They also have wide range of Sake options. We even had 1 glass of sparkling wine for free for Valentine's Day. My favorite thing: all the yummy fish :)
google avatar

Ada H.

Yelp
Right now it's Omakase only until 9pm. It's probably the best Japanese in southwest now. The sashimi was so good and they even used wild salmon tonight. Miso soup was delicious as well. What I love is the rice , it's so good. Taste just like the one in Japan. The beef tongue was also super tasty. Not thinly sliced either
google avatar

Chris N.

Yelp
Excellent quality to value ratio here. You are getting top quality ingredients and superior preparation/presentation on par with some much more expensive restaurants and a reasonable price. Ambiance inside feels very "Wa" with counter and booth seating available. If you are willing to look outside the strip, make this a must go. Kyara Omakase is still fairly new, so looking forward to how this place evolves over time.

Yelp
Just Go! Omakase Kyara is easily one of the best Omakases' in Vegas! The sushi is fresh and delicious! It is such a great spot for a dinner date with the girls or with your so. Also Do not skip the Sake Nigori it is a must with your Omakase! The service is great, and fast! Shout out to chef Winston for being so awesome and making our dining experience extra special!

Yelp
The place we originally wanted to go to was closed so we went here and it did not disappoint. We went later in the evening so they had their Izakaya menu. Sake bottles were half off. All the food we got was delicious and the service was great. The inside is very clean and modern looking with a Japanese style. They had some great mural work as well. All the fish was fresh and tasty. The skewers were delicious as well. I love Izakaya spots and this is definitely worth visiting. I believe earlier in the day they have omakase
google avatar

Yelp
New fave omakase!! From the reasonable prices to the modern, hip ambiance and amazing service, this Japanese restaurant has it all. I also like the fact that it's away from Chinatown and the strip. So happy my coworker told me about this place. Located in a small plaza without too many parking spots. Reservations preferred for omakase but they do have izakaya from 9 pm to close. We opted for the Ume tier which is $68 per person. The appetizer came with 3 dishes: chawanmushi, branzino, and oyster. The chawanmushi was my favorite. The egg was so soft and silky, careful because it comes out steamy hot. The sauce on the branzino was chef's kiss. Oyster was briny yet flavorful. Best first course ever! Simple but with complex flavors. The main course came with a variety of fish served sashimi style with a bowl of rice, nori, pickled veggies, soy sauce, and wasabi all on the side. What a fun and cool concept because you can either eat the fish as is or attempt to make your own sushi rolls. My boyfriend and I had a blast and took a long time with this course because we wanted to savor each bite and see each other's creations. Different from your traditional okamase where the chef makes each one in front of you. Our favorite would have to be the salmon, squid, and toro. They have a skewer menu that's not included on the omakase. We ordered one of each to pair with our main course. They ran out of 2 that night but there were still many options to choose from. Each skewer was grilled and seasoned to perfection right in front of us. I highly recommend getting the shiitake mushroom, the wagyu, the beef tongue, the pork belly, and the chicken kneecap! Main course was followed by a Chef's special yellowtail hand roll and soup which were yummy too. I'm glad we got one of each skewer because I don't think I would have been comfortably full without them lol. Dessert (also not included) was this chocolate mousse almond cake with matcha whipped cream on top which was so addicting! Perfect palate cleanser without being too sweet. Overall, what a fantastic experience. Everything was top notch, including the Japanese whiskey and Asahi that we paired with the omakase. Chef Winston was very funny, personable, and knows his craft well. Love how close this is from where we live. Can't wait to come back next time to try their late night izakaya menu with some friends. Come check this new place out, y'all can thank me later ;-)

Yelp
Omakase Kyara offers affordable omakase. They have two options at about $70 and the other being $100. They do offer add ins or upgrades. I did a birthday party sit in and we sat at the bar. I opted for the cheaper option because they have a late night menu & the difference is three fish in the nigiri portion of the dinner and an elevated hand roll. I was able to order $30 worth of items off of the late night menu for the same price as the more expensive option. I believe the difference was uni and I forgot the other two things. The late night menu is like an homage to the Izakaya it used to be. I'm sure everyone wants to know how it was. You get a first course with three small dishes. The steamed egg was delicious, branzino is delicious. Second course is the nigiri. It was a fun experience. All of the fish is good quality and come with two pieces. It's served with seaweed and seasoned rice and pickles. It's all served at one time on one platter and it's a build your own adventure kind of deal. I highly recommend sitting at the bar if possible but they do have non bar seating. The last course is a hand roll and miso soup and I enjoyed that. I will say that service is great and I really loved the late night menu. The grilled items are amazing. I like the intimate environment and getting to interact with the chefs and see what they're doing. I feel like it's a fun way to eat that's more casual than a super expensive omakase.

Yelp
We came in for the first time today and got the smaller omasake set. The first course was an oyster, branzino, and steamed egg over shrimp. Everything in that first course was amazing! I would have licked the branzino plate clean if no one was looking. The second course was the 9 types of fish served with sushi rice, seaweed, and some pickled veggies. They told us that we could ask for more pickled veggies if we wanted more, which was nice. Those 2 tuna pieces were definitely my favorite, but the rest were good too. The last course was a bowl of miso soup. We also ordered a dessert, which was a matcha mousse. It was nice and light and not too sweet. Overall, this meal was great and we'll be coming back. The place also changes into an izakaya after 9pm every day, so we'll have to try out their skewers next time.

Yelp
I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Omakase Kyara Sake Bar in Las Vegas! From start to finish, everything was perfect. I would give this restaurant 5 stars without hesitation. The skewers were some of the best I've ever had. The chicken skewers were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The sashimi was also exceptional - the fish was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth. The nigiri was equally impressive and beautifully presented. Each piece was expertly crafted with just the right amount of rice and fish. Kudos to the chef. Surprisingly, what really stood out to me were the pickled vegetables. They were the perfect complement to the meal and added a nice acidity and crunch to balance out the rich flavors of the skewers, sashimi, and nigiri. The service was also top-notch. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and the chef was friendly and engaging. The sake selection was impressive and our server was able to recommend the perfect pairing for our meal. Overall, I highly recommend Omakase Kyara Sake Bar to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Las Vegas. The skewers, sashimi, nigiri, and tsukemono were all outstanding, and the service was impeccable. I heard they may be expanding their menu, and I cannot wait to come back and try. Best in town.

Yelp
Celebrated my hubby'sbday there and we had a great time. Food was delish and service was awesome... I think it could be the owners kids that sang happy birthday to my husband as they brought out a yummy dessert. We ordered the UME and The TAKE next time we're gonna try the Matsu...

Yelp
I came here for a business dinner, and it was my first time since they revamped their brand. It is still very intimate and a great spot to be able to easily hear the people at your table while you chat. Between 6 and 10pm, they only do the omakase menu. They picked up on that I am pregnant and made sure not to sit me in a spot where my feet dangled. They also checked if I was ok with raw fish as a good portion of the omakase was just that. I was open to it as it is a high-end establishment, but I asked not to have high mercury fish. After reviewing their selection, they felt they could not provide options that were low enough in mercury without repeating a lot of things. They offered me special accomidations to instead give me 8 skewers that they normally serve at different hours. Their was a fairly small selection of non alcoholic options as it's known more as a sake bar. I first hoped for peach oolong, but they were out, so I went with the normal chilled oolong. It came in a bottle but was actually very good. For the first course they gave us the most silky umami charamushi. Perfectly seared branzino in a lemon Bechmel type sauce that I totally drank the rest of when I finished the fish. A sake poached oyster, which was fabulous, and that says a lot as oysters aren't often something I'm a big fan of. The second course the two others got a lovely assortment of fresh fish and pickles. I had my 8 skewers, and they were amazing. Cooked so they were carmalized but tender, an assortment of pork, veg, chicken, and beef. I'm not an okra fan, so I traded that for my friends salmon sashimi, which was so fresh. I also gave her my gizzard as the texture is not for me, the rest I devoured. I loved the powder and dip that they came with as well on the side. The last course was miso soup. It ran a bit salty for me personally. We also got the green tea mousse cake added on as the chocolate tart has a whisky whipped cream. The mousse cakes had a white chocolate base, which did render it sweeter than I would have liked. I'm sure the chocolate tart would have been a better option for me normally. Overall, for the cost of our meal, I felt we had a wonderful value and some really high special moments. I am excited to go back again.

Yelp
Omakase! My wife and I came here for Valentine's Day for dinner. We had to book it in advance because of the holiday. We came here before the makeover when it was just Kyara. The staff was nice but they were busy from the holidays. What I like about the omakase is the thicker slices of sashimi. The Otoro, scallops, Oyster in yuzu sauce, and uni were my top favorites from the omakase. I also like how they gave you nori and sushi rice so you can control how much rice you want with your sashimi as some people like more rice than others. The egg custard they gave you the appetizer was better than other places I've tried it at with chunks of shrimp in it. Miso soup was given at the end of the meal to wash everything down. I did wish they had some type of dessert as part of the omakase. The price was reasonable for the quality of the fish and the size of the cuts. Seriously, the Otoro melted in my mouth so that is a must. All the workers are preparing the dishes in the kitchen the whole time. Kudos to them. Chef Winston greeted us and conversed with us so that was nice. The atmosphere was buzzing, probably from the holiday. Give this place a try for the omakase. they also have a late-night dinner menu.

Yelp
The price for the omakase here was great. We got the higher priced one with 12 sashimis. The chawan mushi in the first course was our favorite! The fish might not be as fresh as some of the higher priced omakases but not bad. The set up is really cute, you get to make your own hand rolls with nori and sushi rice that comes with the sashimi. We were really full by the time the last course came and was really satisfied. I would come back and take my friends who are visiting!

Yelp
Omakase here is a little different from your traditional Japanese omakase where chef's serve you every piece. This restaurant is actually a izakaya/sushi restaurant. They serve omakase for dinner and izakaya items for late dinner. We opted for the Take omakase, 12 pieces for $98. They served it as a four-course meal. Beginning with a trio appetizer that included steamed egg (INSANELY DELICIOUS), oyster, and grilled fish. For the main, we were served a sashimi platter of 12 pieces, with nori and a bowl of sushi rice. I really enjoyed the interactive aspect of making your own handroll with each piece. The third and fourth course included a tuna handroll and homemade miso soup. The food was absolutely delicious. My favorites include the steamed egg, sweet shrimp, and miso soup. For drinks, I ordered the yuzu sake, which was also amazing - light and refreshing. The label looked like it was house made but I could be wrong. Service was very attentive and our friendly server thoroughly explained each part of their menu. Great experience dining here. 10/10 would recommend!!

Yelp
This is located of Jones & 215 next to Sierra Gold and Tropical Smoothie. I was a regular customer at Kyara for years and once I heard it was turning into an Omakase spot, I had to check it out! I love trying new places and this was AMAZING! The owners are Japanese, so everything tasted very authentic. Each dish was full of flavor and complimented each other very well! Their customer service was very attentive and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The Owner/Chef Winston came out to explain the sashimi portion of the meal and was very hospitable. The first 3 courses were the Branzino, Shigoku Oyster, and Blue Shrimp Chawanmushi (savory egg custard dish). The Branzino was cooked perfectly w/ the skin and it added a nice a crunch to the dish. It was paired with a Yuzu Beurre Blanc, that brought out the flavor of the fish. Next the Shigoku Oyster was the perfect bite that had a Yuzu Mignonette. My favorite was the Chawanmushi! It was the perfect size as a warm yummy starter. Our next course was the assorted sashimi. There was yellow tail, red snapper, salmon, uni, hotate, ebi w/ the shrimp head, otoro, tuna, albacore, mackerel, and hirame. This was served with sushi rice and nori, along with pickles and pickled garlic. The owner showed us how to make the first handroll, which was very nice. The quality of the fish is really fresh and just melts in your mouth. The sashimi platter filled us up, although if you are still hungry they do offer a skewer menu. Next we had a scallion toro handroll and miso soup as our last course. We were super full from the amount of food, but there's always room for dessert lol. Lastly was the Green Trea Creme Brûlée. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and it was a good size to share. Overall this was one of the best Omakase experiences I've ever had. For the price point of $98, it was worth every bite. Their pricing is more affordable compared to the other Omakases here in Vegas. The quality, ambiance, pricing, and the whole experience makes this a must go to for Omakase. I will definitely be back soon :)

Yelp
This place lives up to its reviews! The omakase was the only thing available for dinner time so I got the premium one since I couldn't order any sides since I was starving. The 3 item appetizers was the Branzino, chawan mushi was made perfectly and the oysters was the perfect bite with the hint of truffle oil. The omasake plate had a build on your own set up. Sashimi place like art of the plate, a bowl of sushi rice, and sheets of seaweed. Also served was house made Japanese picked items. The fish was sooooo fresh which I couldn't believe being in the middle of the desert and all. Ending the course was a well made miso soup. The staff was extremely nice and the owner (I believe he was the owner) was so down to earth and trying to make everyone feel like part of the family. I was eating solo yet didn't feel like I was there eating alone. All and all everything was A+ and will definitely be returning!

Yelp
I must express that my initial encounter with omakase was truly remarkable. The culinary offerings and the impeccable service provided were nothing short of extraordinary. I love the ambiance and space as well. I am unequivocally inclined to revisit this establishment in the near future, as the desire to indulge in their delectable fare once again is undeniable.

Yelp
Good place to bring your love one for a proper dinner outside of your house. Their Omakase menu is good and for the price, there is nothing to complain about. I've been to a lot of Omakase places here in the Valley and while all of them are good, this is the only place we've been to multiple times due to the affordable prices and great service they offer. The head chef is great and funny and the servers are also pretty attentive. If you sit at the bar it might get a little tight due to how the food is presented but it's still manageable. Table seating is preferred if you can request is in advance.

Yelp
Best dining experience that we've ever had in Vegas! The service and food were both outstanding. Such a welcoming staff and environment and made us feel very special on my birthday. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Delicious! Loved everything but the squid but never been a fan of it in general. My favorite was the shrimp chawanmushi, toro, scallop w/uni and the seaweed. I loved the fact I got to decide if I wanted to eat it as sashimi or make it into a hand roll myself. It was pretty reasonable priced for omakase. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Back with little update. Got to partake in one of their tuna cutting event. What an incredible treat! The food was nonstop, sake was flowing and people were vibing. We had so fun! You couldn't get fish any fresher than this in Vegas. Various dishes with little twists were on point. The Uni and caviar bump didn't disappoint.

Yelp
Move over Raku, there's a new kid in town! The chicken kneecap karage changed my life! That is my favorite part of the chicken, and the batter was so perfect. I finished the entire dish by myself and my husband only ate one. Kobe beef patty with cheese was pretty good with rice and their house soy sauce. My husband liked the chicken heart skewers, but I thought it was a bit gamy and powdery. He also loved the sashimi and miso soup. The rice bowl was really sad though. I almost sent it back, but they can't really whip up a new batch of rice quickly so there was no point. It was hard and dry and not chewy. This place is small, and I almost don't want to blow it up because the wait will be so long, but they deserve to keep their business going forever. I didn't see an omakase menu. I'm not sure if it was because we were eating at 9 PM and the menu was a late night menu or something. There were still tons of options though.

Yelp
Very nice place With great food. It's on jones and 215 right next to sambolate and tropical smoothie. Winston is the owner and he does everything top notch. Saturday, June 2 he is having a big party with music and a 220 pound tuna. It's a small place, but I'm sure you're going to have a great time.

Yelp
This is a fairly new Omakase place, so there wasn't a snooty person at the front desk or a huge wait to get in. But, the owner was super friendly / chatty when I sat at the bar, and the fish was pretty terrific. He was talking about the fact that they do "tuna cutting events" where they cut up a whole tuna and serve it fresh to people at the bar - I'd like to come back for that. He also had a samurai-sword-style sushi knife, which is fun. In addition to the sushi, did a really nice Chawan-mushi and yellowtail collar. I lived in Japan for 2 years and you eat a lot of that stuff - this was better than I had over there.

Yelp
Food was good, but it's small portion. Service was good. It's not real omakase experience, more like pre-fixed menu. It's a new establishment, so everything is new. There are only a few tables.

Yelp
"Sushi chefs at the kinds of places you go to intimidate me. Sushi Nazis". Whines all white, Midwest poker bud to laughter from five Asians. "It's not that kind of place". My simple reply. Omakase Kyara serves up great quality seafood in the most approachable, relaxed, interactive experience at a very affordable price. A trio of appetizers all served at once to whet your palate on some savory cooked options then a DIY hand roll sushi experience with either nine or 12 types of sashimi. It is followed by a chef made hand roll (show off to your messy creations) and finished with a familiar bowl of strong red miso soup. The trio can change at the chef' s whim but on this visit, a wonderful dashi infused chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) stole the show. Grilled fish and a simple poached oyster rounded out the offering. Nothing too "authentic". The platter of sashimi that follows are very familiar selections. Order the nine piece if you don't want the uni and ama ebi which are the most "exotic" items. You are given wasabi, soy sauce, squares of sushi nori and rice. Eat the sashimi alone or get as creative as you like creating hand rolls (Ama ebi, ikura, and uni anyone? Maybe otoro, tobiko, and some pickled ginger?). The chef's negitoro hand roll follows to show you how it's done. Frankly, I had more fun eating my creations paired with copious pours of sake and shochu. Note: additional sashimi can be added to your omakase. Inexpensive. Nine sashimi, $68, 12 sashimi, $98. Friendly, efficient service. A great experience for both the seasoned sushi veteran or easily intimidated novice.

Yelp

Yelp
If you're looking for good quality omakase that won't break the bank this is it! The two options are $68 and $98. I chose the $98 one and I was stuffed by the end! I've been here 2 times now and I've gotten really great service each time! The food quality is great. They have omakase seating from 6-9 every hour.

Yelp
I came with two of my friends and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. The food was so perfect. We loved that we could ask for more rice and nori-- not only was the fish super fresh and delicious, but their sushi rice was perfectly seasoned and we couldn't stop eating it. The service was also great. It was a smaller and more intimate restaurant, and it was easy to have normal-volume conversation with my friends. This is now a must-go for me when I am in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Came here for New Year's Eve and very disappointed and this is not traditional Japanese Omakase! 1.very thick piece of chicken yakitori and had bite it was uncooked asked them to remake. 2.fish was very dry because they pre cut everything for Omakase course. 3.fish size is kids one bite size. It's $68 cheap sushi what do you expect ? You get what you pay for it !

Yelp
During my recent visit to Omakase Kyara Sake Bar in Las Vegas, I had an overall impressive dining experience that showcased the artistry of sushi. With a classic sushi bar ambience and a nice open kitchen where you can witness the skilled chefs at work, the atmosphere added to the authenticity of the dining experience. Given that it was the grand opening, the service was commendable. The staff did a good job, considering they were still working out the kinks. Their attentiveness and willingness to address any concerns or questions added to the overall positive experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the food. I ordered the uni toro caviar and truffle mini handroll, and it was a delightful combination. The balance achieved between the overpowering flavors of caviar and truffle was impressive. I could still taste the sweetness of the uni, which was a testament to the skillful execution of the dish. The toro was nicely fatty, contributing to the indulgent experience. The only slight issue I encountered was that the nori was borderline soggy. It could be due to the hot rice, which affected the texture. Nonetheless, it didn't overshadow the deliciousness of the overall combination. In fact, if it weren't for the price, I would have gladly devoured ten of these delightful handrolls. Another aspect that stood out to me was the availability of mini items on the menu. This allowed for more exploration and variety in the dining experience. Being able to try a range of different flavors and textures in smaller portions was a great way to sample the menu without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, Omakase Kyara Sake Bar offers an impressive omakase experience with a few minor flaws. The combination of flavors and the skillful execution of the uni toro caviar and truffle mini handroll was a highlight. The slight issue with the soggy nori could be attributed to the hot rice, but it didn't significantly impact the overall enjoyment of the dish. Additionally, the availability of mini items on the menu adds to the allure, allowing guests to explore a variety of flavors. With some fine-tuning, this new establishment has the potential to become a must-visit sushi destination in Las Vegas.
