Omakase Por Favor - Midtown

Fantastic, personable service along with some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Came here for brunch and got the mimosa bottle service, mushroom couscous soup, and sandwich of the day, which was a sturgeon melt. It all tasted phenomenal. Will definitely be back for their happy hour that has $2 oysters, and dinner for the omakase experience. Highly recommend! Check this place out!

Going in thinking Japanese will work with Mexican. Former emphasis on subtlety and latter is David of bold. I ordered the omakase 6 courses menu. The result blows my mind. I can taste the sweetness of the fresh ingredients including the seafood and the slight spiciness and bold flavor really mixes well. This is definitely one of the best new restaurants in recent years. Will definitely go back.

This place has a nice warm date vibe. Looks clean and welcoming. They have fresh seafood and the best oysters. I have been here multiple times already and the staff are always very welcoming and nice. Nice selection of wine/ wine tasting area and beautiful bar area.

Tonight marked my second visit to this exceptional restaurant, and it certainly won’t be my last. From the moment I arrived, Demetri greeted me warmly and escorted me to my table with utmost professionalism. He took the time to meticulously walk me through the menu, showcasing his deep understanding of the culinary offerings. Once seated, I had the pleasure of a delightful conversation with the talented Chef Kat, whose passion for her craft was truly inspiring. Pieter then took my order with remarkable expertise, demonstrating an impressive knowledge of each dish and its flavors. When my meal arrived, it was nothing short of perfection—Marcy crafted a beautifully presented plate that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. Every aspect of my experience, from the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience!

It's impossible to express just how much I enjoyed this great spot in Sacramento! It's super charming, the service is exceptional, and the food is perfect! I dined at the bar for lunch, and Chef/Owner, Jenna, explained each perfectly executed dish and also shared her background. Sake Sommelier, Taylor, made the perfect sake suggestion, that I enjoyed with each delicious bite of food. Easily the best lunch I've ever had in Sacramento, and it is now in my top 5 restaurants in the city. I can't recommend more enthusiasticly, and look forward to my next visit north.

If you haven't checked out the Omakase Brunch Club you are missing out on the best experience around. Unbelievable creative menu with impeccable service. Add this in to a farmer's market trip and you have a perfect day.

We went to Omakase Por Favor as a double date. We all enjoyed it. The flavors were great! I can’t give a 4.5 star but that’s the rating I’d give because I wasn’t full at the end of the 6 courses, and I think being full would be better so I hope they work on their portion sizes for the future

One of the best fine dining experiences in Sacramento that delivers incredible food and doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommend the omakase tasting with wine/sake pairing.
