Omakase Sushi Bar

One of the best Japanese restaurants (outside of Japan) with Galician produce. Seasonal menus, outstanding service, classy design and an incredible selection of unique wines. The two managers truly make dining here a memorable experience. It's pricey but definitely worth it. Omakase is a must every time we visit the city.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. One of my favorite meals ever, and quite possibly the best sushi I’ve had. I’ve been to Japan twice and eaten at nice sushi restaurants in the US and Europe but this place is just incredible. The quality of the ingredients and preparation is so authentic and impressive, the chef is really kind and friendly, and the ambience is stellar - tasteful and subtle decor, fun music at the perfect volume, comfortable seating… Really this place is special. We can’t wait to return. The hotate was out of this world!

What Adrian, Andres and team are doing here is as bold in its intent as it is flawless in its execution. The wealth of incredible produce Galicia has at its disposal lends itself extremely well to a sushi concept, however that is to take nothing away from the formidable skill, care and finesse Adrian employs in creating and preparing each dish. My Omakase with accompanying wine flight was fantastically delicious, and the equal of many of the celebrated posh omakase offerings I have tried back in London. What astonished me most, however was the value for money of it. €100 for 10+ courses and wine pairings of this quality represents exceptional value for money and I would encourage anyone who is travelling to Galicia to add this as an essential cornerstone of their trip. Adrian and Andres looked after me superbly well and were very hospitable and engaging. Well done, and thank you both for an unforgettable experience.

I don’t think there are words to do justice to the experience of eating in Omakase. It’s the up-close-and-personal eating experience you will ever have! I thought I liked sushi before I went… now I know I had never really enjoyed or savoured sushi as much! The “menu” isn’t really a menu - it is more of an informative list of what you are going to be eating - Omakase means “I leave it up to you” and Adrián (the sushiman) does a great job deciding what you would like to taste. All I can say is - try it - it is worth the experience.

Superb sushi in La Coruna. Best dining experience in this lovely city. Highly recommended.
