Omi Korean Grill & Bar (Grand Prairie)

3.7 stars. Food was solid. We both ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap. Absolutely delicious. The assortment of banchan was very enjoyable. Service was average. Atmosphere was good. Would definitely recommend and will be back for sure in the near future.

Overall 3. The food is decent. Selection is minimal. It's very heavy pork. Biggest complaint is seating. It was ok at 1st but the minute someone sits behind you - it pushes you in and you could be stuck till they leave. There's a button to call for a waiter but even at half capacity - pressing the button didn't get anyone. We had to ask a few times for our drinks bc it seemed like they forgot.

I called in two orders and i asked the girl if i needed to place two separate orders to get two orders of sides. I was told that i would get sides with each meal. After driving almost an hour we discover we only got sides for one meal. I called the restaurant and they don’t understand english. We drove another hour to return to the restaurant . Originally i was told that i would have to pay another $5, eventually they gave me the additional side for free. If you plan to order multiple meals place each meal separately or you will only get one order of sides. The food is great however if you place a take out order check your order before paying. Customer service is not good, the excuse that they dont understand English is not acceptable especially because the food is quite pricey. See picture below if you order multiple meals this is all the sides you get, although you paid for a full meal

You order up to four meats at a time per table. LA galbi - very flavorful. The side dishes were good with unlimited refills. Most of the meats like “premium”steak and pork belly were bland. Service was ok, gotta push the call light again if no one answer within ten minutes. Ice cream isn’t free, we got four for about $38.00.

I highly recommend Omi Korean Grill. We had all you could eat BBQ. You grill your meat right at the table. The short ribs are one of my favorites. We will definitely eat there again.

First time going to a place like this and I gotta say I enjoyed it. The waitress was nice and helped me out when I told her I never did this before. She recommended a number of meats and stuff to try and they were all good. Definitely on the pricey side for 2 people but youre paying for the experience

Servers were very attentive and helpful. The food was great and we left overly satisfied. First time eating Korean BBQ.Loved the food kimchee was awesome. We had a blast cooking for each other drinking soju great place for a date!

Menu does not have as much selection as some of the other restaurants like Gen, but price is the same. The side dishes were more flavorful and delicious. The Brisket had a little more fat than I wanted and it ended up being tough and chewy because of the cut thickness. We also had the short ribs and the seasame oil seasoned beef cubes which were tasty. Overall meat needed more flavor and better cuts or better dipping sauces
