"Even though this dumpling shop is no longer called Luscious Dumplings, its wares are still quite luscious. The most popular item is the pork-filled, pan-fried dumplings. The filling is a simple mixture of ground meat and chives, while the skins are pliable and not too thick. An intense sear crisps and caramelizes the exterior, adding some crunch to each bite." - Cathy Chaplin

I have been here twice in less than a month. I came for dinner on a Saturday right around 630pm-7pm and they already had run out of a lot of the dumplings & noodles on their menu so we were limited. We came for lunch instead to make sure we get to try the dumplings we wanted. We came around 1130am and there was no wait and they had full menu. We got the soup dumpling and the noodle & dumpling combination. The combo is a great value since you get both for half the price. We got the beef brisket noodles, soup dumpling and pan fried noodles. All delicious! The soup dumpling is not the same as DTF kind, it's like regular chinese dumplings. The owners/staffers are quick, attentive and surprisingly friendly. I heard them speak both mandarin and cantonese. Each time i came they were responsive to our questions since we werent familiar with the menu. Food comes quick so we were done in about 30-45 mins. Parking can be a bit limited but there's street parking. Make sure to have CASH! Also make sure to check their hours since they do close early and between lunch and dinner. I noticed they like playing sports on their mini tv.

Google
One One Dumpling is probably my go to spot for affordable and delicious dumplings + noodle combo!! I've been going to this gem for over ten years, when their combo's were about $5. My parents and I always reference Luscious Dumplings as the $5 combo because it's been that long since they've been around the SGV. I believe they've been around for about 13 years and within those 13 years, they have yet to disappoint me once. I always crave their pan-fried dumplings because it's just different from the other restuarants in the neighborhood. I recommend that you simply get the Fried Pork Dumpling and Chive, Pork, Egg, Glass Noodle Fried Dumpling. If I could, I would eat plates of those alone. Also, their beef tendon noodle soup is amazing. One One Dumplings will not disappoint and it's always nice to change it up from soup dumplings.

Google
Good value for lunch, where you can get a regular bowl of noodle soup and a half order of dumplings for $8.50. Noodle soup came out super fast (within 5 minutes of ordering) and the dumplings came out maybe 15-20 minutes later. The soup is thin and light, with decent enough flavor and the noodles are alright too, with a little bit of a chew to them. The beef is pretty tender and you get a good amount of it. Dumplings are good too, and next time I'll definitely try the pan fried ones.

Google
Probably one of my top 3 dumplings spots in the area (along with Long Xing and You Kitchen). I definitely thought their friend stuff are better than their steamed or boiled ones in comparison to the other places. Their beef noodle is pretty mediocre so focus on the dumplings when you go here.

Randy Reyes

Google
This is a good place for simple no frills noodles and dumplings. Order the combo, and you can get one noodle dish and five dumplings. The noodle portions are generous so you'll be full after ordering the he combo. The flavored stew beef and the pork and shrimp dumplings were my favorite.

Vivian Dang

Google
Small shop with comforting food. I ordered the beef stew noodle soup with the pan fried pork dumplings (not pictured because I ate it all before I remembered to snap a photo) the noodles are more on the firm and chewy side ( which I prefer :)) so it was yummy. I would highly recommend the pan fried dumplings, a little bit oily but super good!!

Sachiko Moore

Google
We had the beef stew noodles, the juicy pork dumplings, the pork cabbage and shrimp dumplings. It was good! The pork cabbage shrimp was the best thing they had. The only problem I had with juicy pork was the outside wrap portion was little too thick and tough for my taste. I love the mama luus dumpling and din tai fung juicy porka dumplings so this one was a tough one to like. The beef stew noodles were yummy though!! Lots of beef in there and topped with bok choy. WARNING they only take cash so bring cash!!

Google
One One Dumpling in San Gabriel is definitely a hidden gem in the SGV. This small and unassuming restaurant may be easy to miss, but its delicious food is worth the effort to seek it out. As mentioned in other reviews, the hours can be a bit tricky to navigate, so make sure to plan ahead before you go. The menu is simple, with only two categories: dumplings and noodle soup. But don't let the simplicity fool you - the quality of the food is outstanding. The chive and pork dumplings are a standout when fried, with the perfect combination of flavors and textures. For those who prefer boiled dumplings, the cabbage and pork is a great option. The chili oil that comes with the dumplings is tasty, though some may prefer it to have a bit more umami flavor. If you're in the mood for something warm and comforting, the noodle soups are also a great option. The beef tendon soup is a popular choice, with a simple and clean broth that complements the tender and flavorful beef tendon. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and intimate, with only about 20 seats available. It definitely has a mom-and-pop shop feel, which adds to the charm. Service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable - though you'll need to have cash. Just make sure to check the hours and plan accordingly, as it's definitely worth the effort to try.

Yelp
Still juicy, full of flavor and so fresh. Service as friendly as it gets and it feels so pleasant inside. Simple, to the point, and no show off.

Yelp
Feels really good to be back! Feels really good to be back! Dumplings are superb. One of my all-time favorites. Always over order a bit because I can't decide and to have leftovers. Can't get enough, and I am not the only one. When we had to travel out of town a lot to care for my ailing FIL, I missed these dumplings so much. Biting into one felt like I was home.

Mitch W.

Yelp
Thank you One One! I'm a little late for Thankful Thursday, but want to thank the owner and staff for their wonderful food throughout the pandemic. I think the restaurant business is one of the hardest and thankless jobs and owning a small restaurant is even more so. One One Dumplings does a great job with their fresh daily handmade dumplings and noodles. My favorite dumplings are the Pan Fried and Pork, Shrimp, and Cabbage. For noodles, we usually get the Beef Noodle Soup and the Mushroom Meatsauce. You can't go wrong with anything from One One. Please support the local mom and pop businesses. Cheers! Xie Xie!

Yelp
I checked out the ratings before writing this review because I can't imagine how anyone could give this place anything less than 4 stars. It's disappointing how many 1-star reviews are about the language barrier. I came for the first time this morning and arrived promptly at 11am, right when they open. We were their first customers of the day and I was excited to get a fresh batch of dumplings and beef soup. Everything was delicious. The fried pork & chive dumplings are unlike any dumplings I've ever tasted. They have a hint of sweetness to them that is unique but adds so much umami, and the starch lattice makes them ultra crispy. They provide plenty of good quality condiments - chili oil, ginger, and soy sauce. I've been to one too many hole in the walls that serve expired chili oil, but that was not the case here. The chili oil was fresh and had a thick, almost paste-like consistency. Can't wait to go back. In the 30 or so minutes we were there, they must've pumped out at least 15 takeout orders. And there was a huge queue of people waiting outside when we left. They're busy so my best recommendation is to go when they open! Cash only btw.

Yelp
The phone number has been disconnected and the place looks closed. I hope hope hope they just went on vacation. If they have gone out of business they will be sorely missed!

Yelp
On a Thursday afternoon in late September, I was craving for pan fried pork dumplings so I called them for a pick up. I ordered 10 piece pork dumplings pan fried and beef stewed noodle soup. He said it was ready in 10 minutes which took me by surprise because other places take 30min or more to pan fry them. I got there in 10min and my order was ready. It looked the place was empty at 12 noon. Everything was warm once I got home. The dumplings had a nice pan fried color at the bottom and it was so delicious w/soy sauce and vinegar. The beef stewed noodles was packed separately so they gave a lot of noodles and lots of broth. The broth had lots of flavor and tasted light in flavor. Everything was delicious and hit the spot. FYI, Cash only!

Yelp
Does this restaurant allow good dogs? Unfortunately, One One Dumplings only offer indoor dining and takeout so dogs are not allowed. Where do I even start... We thoroughly enjoyed our first time dining experience at One One Dumplings. It is located inside a plaza next to Half&Half. They have a shared lot and we got lucky with parking. This restaurant takes Covid precautions very seriously and we truly appreciated how clean it was. The kind ladies were attentive and welcoming. They had run out of a lot of their dumplings by the time we arrived, but we were happy to try their fried and teamed pork and shrimp dumplings. Their dumplings are all made in house with chewy skin and juicy fillings. Five spice tofu and noodles with mushroom meat sauce were good, but the noodles with flavored stewed beef was my favorite. The soup is light but savory and packed with flavor, and the chunks of beef were tender. The broth they serve with the mushroom meat sauce noodles was stellar. We cannot wait to come back for more!!

Yelp
I have been dining here since a while back. It is a family owned hole-in-the-wall. This restaurant is very popular that there was always a line during pre-covid time. It is worth the wait as the food is amazing. Pan fried pork dumplings: this is my favorite. Be careful when you bite into it because the juice will either explode or it will burn your tongue. It is super flavorful! My mouth is watering as I am writing this review. The steam dumplings: the meat is very tendered and moist. The skin of the dumpling will not leave a flour after taste in your mouth. Shedded pork and preserved vegetable noodle soup: this is my favorite noodle soup. The soup has no MSG, and I could not resist in drinking the soup after I finished the noodles. Will continue to support local business.

Julia H.

Yelp
Had steamed soup pork dumpling and the pan fried dumpling. 1. Steamed soup pork dumpling -Juicy like a Xiao long bao. The soup flavor is better than Din Tai Fung. The "q" springiness of the skin is on point. Even my sister ate the skin. 2. Pan fried dumpling -Fried well but prefer to the xiao long bao

Tomyaw K.

Yelp
This was our favorite dumpling and noodle place before covid. We came back to try out our favorite food 3 years after finally. Unfortunately, the taste and quality have changed tremendously. When the noodle served in front of me, I could tell something wasn't right about the noodle. I don't know what's going on with this restaurant. It used to have a line of people every time I came here pre covid. But I didn't see anymore. My guess was either the ownership has changed or they tried to cut the budget of the food due to inflation.

Sheldon C.

Yelp
Been coming to this spot for over 15 years. The fried pork dumplings 煎餃 are some of the best I've ever had. Very crispy and perfectly fried exterior. Flavorful and juicy interior. A++. The noodle soups are solid too. The beef tendon noodle soup is back - so delicious. Come early before noon.

Yelp
1. Cleanness & Parking- BUSY/TIGHT, clean, no trash on floor, shared parking with other stores, this parking is closely monitored by some security guard in a very small car, but at least no fee but hella tight 2. Contactless payment- NOPE, only cash 3. Reservations/Appointment - first come first serve, seriously they are well known for that once all food is sold out they close (wow) 4. Customer Service/Assistance - all employees have been nice 5. Food - oh so good, freshness of the noodles and dumplings sooo delicious in my reviews each star is given when they meet all my top necessities overall, pains me to have to dock 2 stars because of how amazing the food is but have to stay true to my review the parking alone is so stressful and we live in 2022, apple pay a must, amazed how well this restaurant does because of how fast they sell out and simply close too hard to say the true hours of this restaurant

Yelp
Till this day, my coworkers and I will still come here for noodles and dumplings. Hands down our favorite dumpling spot in the 626 and I'm happy to have introduced this establishment to friends. You honestly cannot go wrong with their noodle soups before it doesn't have that oily after taste like so many other restaurants. One One Dumplings uses fresh ingredients in everything and you can taste it bite after bite. You will not be let down if you were to try this restaurant.

Raymond H.

Yelp
I love this place, but it's harder to find time to come here than some Michelin star restaurant because of their hours. Every time I've been here, when the food comes, everyone at the table stops talking and starts eating. This is honestly when you know the food is good. When the food triumphs over the conversation. Their stew pork noodle soup is one of my all time favorite comfort food along with the pork fried dumpling. It's just incredibly satisfying eating the oily dumpling followed up by a clean broth and noodles. Highly recommend. Would give this place an even higher rating if I could.

Eric W.

Yelp
The fried dumplings are absolutely amazing. We come here very often. Make sure to order ahead as they can sometimes run out during popular times.

Chuck C.

Yelp
First time writting a review after visiting at least twice a month for the past 10 or so years, i always order the combo, noodles and 5 dumplings and another order of 10 dumplings, 3 to eat on top of the 5 and 7 to go, the quality and consistency of the food is excellent especially the broth that's clean and impurities removed which i love with more than fair prices, i only wish they would replace the cabbage with the bokchoy they used to use and bring back the complimentary celery and tofu side they used to make, i don't mind paying for it, that's all, overall i will recommend this place and return on a egular basis. Thank you by a satisfied loyal customer.

Gerry S.

Yelp
This is an amazing Mom and Pop dumpling shop. I started enjoying this place when they first opened many moons ago and were called Luscious Dumplings--They are still luscious, and, yes, the NUMBER ONE of ALL ONES. Din Tai Fung may have a more pleasant atmosphere, but their dumplings cannot compare to the ONE OF ALL ONES. This is my favorite restaurant in ALL of LA (and even Shanghai and Chonqing as well, where I used to travel regularly). Yes, I'll admit it, I'm in love with this place--there it is!

Rebekka U.

Yelp
I went here on a Sunday afternoon, November 11, 2018. My notes about the place that I just discovered are as follows: Salted Pork Noodles Simple, comforting, homemade, childhood Bokchoy for crunch I remember this place being very delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I've thought of this meal over the years but surrender to the idea I will never be able to rediscover this hole in the wall I stumbled into one Sunday afternoon. But now I will -- it sometimes benefits you to organize the messy notes stored within your phone.

Arminda D.

Yelp
Awesome dumplings! The chive and pork were the best in my humble opinion. Cash only, nice staff.

Harry P.

Yelp
A pre-Covid review. Gotta catch up on the ones I've been slacking on. This place is a stop everything and come here to eat their fried pork dumplings. And if you don't eat pork, then damn, that is seriously unfortunate cause I yearn to come back to One One Dumplings (formally known as Luscious Dumplings) I was introduced to One One Dumplings a few years back and my cousin kept yapping on and on about how it was so good and better than Din Tai Fung. I've been to Din Tai Fung and their XLBs are exquisite, soft supple skin with soup inside and not too salty filling? What can beat that? Pork Fried Dumplings. Thats what can beat it. Queue up to when I was able to go with my cousin for the first time and luckily we didn't have to wait long since the restaurant is really tiny. Lord I hope things go back to normal soon and the wait won't be nuts. We got the menu, a small sheet of paper we filled out and we ended up ordering the pork pan fried dumplings, the pork with soup dumplings, and noodles soup for each person. I ended up with the beef tendon the first time. The pork soup dumpling, not bad. Feels like it could use more soup but it was flavorful and its pipping hot. The beef tendon soup, tendon was nice and soft, noodles were soft but retained their crunch. Only thing was you might need to add some additional flavoring to the soup since that day I went it came out a bit bland. The star of the show, the day, was the pork pan fried dumplings. First one I had I fell absolutely in love. The skin is doughy but not overly so, the pan fried side was crispy and the filling just bursted with flavor and wasn't overly salty. If you gave me two plates of it at this very moment, I will vacuum it up right before your eyes and ask for more without batting an eyelid. Thats how much I fell in love it. Add some vinegar, ginger, and their hot oil, and it all works so well. The vinegar helps cut through some of the richness of it. Queue to 2-3 years later and I came back with the same cousin, and we ordered at least 2 of the pan fried dumpling and this time I went with the mushroom meat sauce with soup on the side and it hit the spot. I was definitely full for the whole day and was extremely happy. Service was decent, and its cash only. COME HERE FOR THE PORK FRIED DUMPLINGS. PERIOD. I yearn to go back once things return to relative normal. Cheers!

Efren G.

Yelp
Have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. The quality of food has not change for the decades we have been going. Eric and his team are great and will continue to visit every time we have a chance. Highly recommend to anyone.

Wing C.

Yelp
Loved their combo offerings! Minced pork/mushroom noodles with fried pork dumplings for me, beef noodle soup with fried pork dumplings for the husband - for a little under $10 per person, we polished our bowls and left super satisfied. Parts of the menu were written only in Chinese. So bring a friend or just ask the staffs - Super friendly and efficient. Would be back!

Anita m.

Yelp
Food and service here are on point! For two people, I ordered the beef noodle soup, steamed (boiled?)) pork and cabbage dumplings and pan fried pork dumplings. Everything came out piping hot and I was impressed with how perfectly fried and super crispy the dumplings were cooked without being hard or chewy. This is definitely a no frills hole in the wall with plastic utensils and paper napkins, paper menus and packets of soy sauce and pre-packaged black vinegar and chili oil served with your order. Drinks are water (free) or sodas only. There is inside dining only (or take out) but space is limited. Service is friendly. This is in the same location as Bonchan Fried Chicken so depending on timing, parking might be a little tough to find. CASH ONLY.

David C.

Yelp
Okay, I'm a fan, but not as much as others, I guess. Located in a way too crowded strip mall, I recommend you look for street parking on Las Tunas or around it rather than go into the tiny parking lot. There are too many restaurants in this one tiny space, and the chance of scoring a parking spot in the lot is zero and nil. That being said, I did score one, but please listen to me. A tiny little joint, it's unimpressive to look at inside and out, but who cares? It's about those dumplings! The fried pork dumplings are to die for. Yumm squared. Unfortunately, after that, things went slightly downhill. The mushroom meat sauce noodles were okay. Not excellent, but better than just okay. The chive, pork, egg, and glass noodles dumplings were different and good but not mind blowing. The only disappointment were the the XLB soup dumplings. Just not up to par for the SGV. Go, but keep in mind they are not as good as you have heard. Still worth going. And... Thinking bout thos fried pork dumplings! Go!

Char L.

Yelp
Pan fried pork dumplings are juicy on the inside and perfectly fried on the outside. Don't wait too long to eat them after picking up delivery. They get a bit steamed in the take out box. Make sure to check for sufficient dipping sauces. We had 3 orders of dumplings but only 2 sets of dipping sauces. My kids love the mushroom sauce noodles. It is always a win when picky little children gobble something up. Parking gets difficult in the tiny strip mall parking lot when it gets to peak hours.

Daniel T.

Yelp
The pan fried pork dumplings. So good. Cash only (had to jet down to the ATM down the street). Super efficient and clean pick up operation.

J M.

Yelp
Incredibly good dumplings here - worth a very long drive but make sure to go early before they run out of everything!

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
This might be my favorite dumpling place in the 626. They have the best fried pork dumplings and I have to order those every time I come. Highly recommend all the other dumplings and noodle soups as well. Staff are friendly and parking is plentiful. Cash only or Venmo.

Angela H.

Yelp
We love One-One dumplings, the menu is simple but everything is good. It is in our regular rotation and my kids can get a whole entree of their pork fried dumplings on their own. The service is fast and nonsense, same with the ambiance, very minimalistic and simple and functional. The space is small, with less than 10 tables and utility based.

Zack E.

Yelp
I've tried coming here three times in the last two months. They don't have any hours of operation signs on their establishment and their hours don't match yelp's said hours. I've tried calling to find out hours too and no luck. 1 star for effort. Will update this review if I ever catch them when they're actually open

Olivia C.

Yelp
I still dream about their dumplings, and make an effort to come by whenever I'm in town. They're famous for their fried pork dumplings - perfectly fried on the outside and juicy on the inside. Delicious whether I dined in or ordered take-out! I also love their cabbage, pork, and shrimp dumpling - thicker skin, very flavorful. I tried their noodles as well-the flavored stewed beef-and thought they were okay. Very filling and affordable if you get the combo noodle+dumplings. Can't wait to come back! Absolutely worth the horrendous parking situation.

Sherri Z.

Yelp
An oldie but a goodie :) I love One One for their home style dumplings and noodles. I highly recommend: -Pork potstickers -Steamed pork and cabbage dumplings -Boiled pork, cabbage and shrimp dumplings --Mushroom and meat dry noodles (add some of their chili sauce to this!) Beef noodle soup Price $ Ambiance: no fuss interior Service: fast and efficient CASH ONLY!

James S.

Yelp
Lovely place with tasty food and prices. *Cash Only. I appreciate Yelpers, especially when I'm not in a familiar place. Alhambra qualifies. A visit with three hungry teens and myself tried different dumplings and soups here on a recent summer evening. I loved it, and the teens did too (as much as teens might allow themselves to say). Steamed, pan fried, and boiled were the methods employed on the dumplings. Pork (fried) delish, as well as the chive, pork, egg and shrimp (steamed). Bundled those as Combos with two types of soup: the flavors stewed beef (mild but still tasty), and the mushroom meat sauce (heartier, and with more flavor.) You won't really taste mushroom on this one, and it's not really soup. More of a pasta dish, kinda. Stir it up (including the bok choy, found in both bowls) and distribute. The soup that comes with this one, separately, is a bone broth. Stronger, but simple, and for certain mature tastebuds, hits the spot. We were pretty darn full splitting the two combos between the four of us. Oh, and we threw in a third style of dumpling, one that squirted when you bite into it. It's one of their newer specialties, I believe. Park in the area, or in the strip mall parking lot. Very very tasty. Very low key and simple inside. Well worth a visit and even worth a bit of a drive, too.

Tim E.

Yelp
Formally known as Luscious dumplings I would come here often when I worked in the area. Now it's a drive to visit but they don't always have what I want which isn't any different from the past. They only make a certain amount of dumplings and when they sell out then that's it for the shift. The menu is simple and limited and that's fine by me as I only order basically four items every time I come by. I like the pan fried pork dumpling as the wonton shell is thicker than most and I think they use a little brown sugar when they pan fry them up. Always piping hot and juicy when served. The only issue these days are everything cost more and the dumpling have shrunk. The second I like are the steamed pork dumplings. The steamed bok choy aka greens is served with oyster sauce and it's just helps with digestion of the grease an good pork juices I'm consuming. The last item I occasionally order is the mushroom meat noodle soup.

Greg G.

Yelp
My Honey and I came here for lunch Tiffany our server was excellent! The restaurant is small but the service is very good! We ordered 10 Peices Pork Fried combo Dumpling and Noodle, and 10 Pieces Dumplings filled with Chives, Pork, Egg and Shrimp. Also we had Ice Water! Our food was served quickly and hot!!! It was all very flavorful and Tasty!!!

Yelp
I have gotten takeout from One One Dumplings multiple times during COVID pandemic, and each time was delicious! They don't skimp for takeout, and they pack it well (no spillage) along with chili oil and black vinegar. They also take safety measures seriously - I have not seen anyone working in the restaurant take off their mask once. I also love their set up of keeping the doors propped open with a table at the entrance. Since this is a cash only establishment, I simply place my money in a ziplock bag and drop it off with them on the table - contactless! I highly recommend the Napa cabbage, pork, and shrimp dumplings. Be careful though, they run out of their dumplings fast! Be sure to order from them within the first hour of lunch opening time or the first 30 minutes of dinner opening time. Since so many people love their dumplings and One One makes them fresh, they tend to run out. I also like asking for more vinegar to ensure that I have enough to dip with when I get home. During this pandemic time, I highly recommend getting takeout from One One Dumplings. Not only is the food just as delicious as pre-COVID, but I also feel safer getting takeout from them. Keep in mind they are cash only.

glenmore w.

Yelp
Shhhh!! Pre-pandemic, if you weren't here by 10:45AM for the 11AM opening, your soup dumpling craving would have to wait until almost noon! Savvy customers always came early. Fast forward to today and the wait is much more modest and it seems there is a brisk take out business that takes the pressure off the limited seating. Eric must have tweaked his recipes a tiny bit because both the soup dumplings and fried dumplings were the best ever even compared to 3-4 years ago when they were still Luscious Dumplings. The delicious fillings and super thin wrappers make perfect dumplings!

Derek W.

Yelp
Just realized my original review didn't carry over when the name changed. Have been coming here for almost 15 years. I still remember when my coworker brought me here for their stewed beef noodle soup and dumplings. Yes, as others have mentioned it isn't spicy but it is super flavorful. The broth is super clean and has a nice sweet aftertaste. I usually add a few scoops of their chili oil (not spicy) which adds even more flavor to the soup. I usually opt for a combo where you can pick a noodle and pair it with a few dumplings. One of the best beef noodle soups in the SGV and am glad they are still open given this crazy pandemic we are currently going through. Only downside is that they are still a cash business but their delicious food more than makes up for the slight inconvenience.

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin with this place. My friend has been here a couple of times, so he's been raving to me about this place. Parking is kind of a hassle though because there is construction going on there. But luckily we were able to find parking! I was super excited to finally try it. He's told me this place had a crazy wait and they do sell out of dumplings. We arrived there at about 12:40pm and got seated at about 5 mins. When we sat down they gave us a menu to mark what we wanted. Their combo sets are such a great deal. It was $9 + tax and you get a 5 dumplings or 4 potstickers and a bowl of noodle of your choice. We ordered 3 cabbage dumplings with beef noodles and a chives dumpling with pork noodles. The noodles came out first, the noodles had a really good texture, not too hard and not too soggy. super chewy. The beef was marinated perfectly! I was a little disappointed that the dumplings took so long to come out. We were done with our noodles by the time the dumplings came out. The dumplings, sooooo good from the skin to the flavors of the meat. I only tried the cabbage one because i dont like chives that much. But it was so juicy and tasty. My friend said the chives one was really good as well. The only complaint I have is that the sauces they provide for us to dip the dumplings in wasnt as fresh. The chilly oil had a funny taste to it. Maybe i was cooked for too long or left out too long?.. But it wasn't the best.

Yelp
I don't know where to start except same owners just different name....there was confusion before as to where did lucious D go, rest assured it's the same chefs and owners as before. There was just a name change due to details I'd rather not misinform people about. Onward to the details of the food and service: Food: really consistent, the beef noodle soup always hits the spot for me, the soup/broth tastes like they've spent time slow cooking it. The meat is always tender and not overly fat. I love their dumplings, had both the pan fried and also steamed soup dumplings. I love all the dumplings, they both have their own texture and flavor. I love them both. Service: The owners are still here, the chef and servers are the same, very friendly, very fast. They take care of you and don't really need to ask for much because they're attentive to your needs. Recommendation: come early. Don't come on Mondays because they're closed. Order it all! It's all good!

Yelp
My third visit and last time I'll review the location, but I'll still come if I want some nice dumplings or noodles at a decent price-point. Came and had the combination dumpling and noodles - chives, pork, egg, and shrimp with a bowl of stewed pork. The quality is very much like my previous reviews and I don't think much is needed to be added at this point. Even the friends I brought with me said the food was good and liked the price-point of the food. The only downside was the hot chili oil - it tasted a bit burnt. The hot oil must have been overheated, but they still ended up using it instead of making a new batch. Slight displeasure about it, but the food was still great. Minor change from last time. Whenever I've had them, the noodles and dumplings would come out pretty much at the same time. However, we finished the noodles before the dumplings came out. Not sure of the discrepancy in time, but there was a slight delay this time around for the dumplings to come out. For the chives and pork dumplings, a lot of chives are used and if you love chives, you'll love the dumplings. For the cabbage and pork, there is more cabbage in there than I last recalled. Still nice dumplings to be had all around. Overall, I still highly recommend this location for dumplings and noodles and I wish them well on their continued success. Side-note: based on a feeling, but the portions do look a bit smaller than I recall. Not positive as I didn't realize my previous photos aren't linked to my reviews anymore.

Yelp
This little family restaurant in the heart of Alhambra will serve you the best Beef noodle soup and Dumplings that you've EVER had, and will bit the competitors no problem' That seSame cHilli oil sauce though' it deserves another five star just for itself. Super friendly staff, great portions and fair prices! A 100% must try!!!

Yelp
We love this place. Their pork fried dumplings are the best and the others are delicious as well. Still take out only. And still cash only. Limited hours and limited supply each day. Last night we bought out the rest of what he had. When I arrived I realized I didn't have enough for tip, but he was more interested in if we were happy with our order and just asked us to come back again. Though we don't live nearby, when we are in the area we will definitely be back!

Yelp
My friend who loves dumplings wanted to try this restaurant after dining at Hui You Xiang, which is next-door (both are in the same strip mall). The dumplings are good, but they are wrapped in the thicker noodle than most dumpling houses. We tried 4 different dumplings--3 steamed and one fried, and the beef noodle soup. The steamed dumplings were good, the pan fried was just OK. The beef noodle soup was excellent. The four of us all felt that Hui You Xiang makes better dumplings, and they cost less. NOTE: One One is cash only.

Yelp
One one is great! Used to be called Luscious Dumplings, but the menu and food is still great and largely the same. I have been going to Luscrious/One One for almost 10 years now. Amazing and creative dumplings, pretty good noodle soup, and really outstanding house chili oil sauce. I encourage you to get 1 of every kind of dumpling on the menu (my personal favorite are the pan fried pork and chive dumplings, not the most healthy but for sure among the most delicious). The area that it is in bounds with lauded establishments like Bonchon and Golden Deli, and even then One One definitely stands out as remarkable. Highly recommend!! :)

Yelp
Drive here at 11:30am on a Sunday to order to go, and they could only accommodate one order of the fried pork dumpling and one order of the boiled dumpling. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Yelp
This is my favorite food ever. I have been coming here since elementary school, it's always been a treat. Never have had dumplings and that elixir noodle soup at any other place. Their chili oil is the best with so many sesame seeds. You cannot skip on their fried pork dumplings, their steamed dumplings, I also recently had vegetarian dumplings they offered, and I have never had any like it, better than the meat ones. The soups are to die for. The mushroom meat sauce noodles, the braised beef and my favorite, tendon noodle soup. Yum. I got some today and always want to take a picture before I eat but I cannot help myself eat all of it before thinking of writing a review. Support local businesses. This is family owned, cash only, but they take Zelle now which is so convenient. Hope everyone in the area tries it, they gotta stay in business for my sanity!

Yelp
Love love love these dumplings! A friend dropped them off during quarantine and told us it tasted like "homey" type food. I definitely agree the soup tasted nice, light, and warming :) while the dumplings on the other hand actually had this sweet aftertaste (?) I can't quite describe it, but they were super addicting and made me crave them again and again! Can't wait to go back for more (:

Yelp
The iconic dumpling restaurant I always get the pork shrimp cabbage boiled dumplings here and there's nothing like it. Just get one order per person because anything less you'll regret. Cash only and I would like to thank the establishment for breaking my big bill before noon. I appreciate you! I always forget to ask if they sell freezer dumplings because I want more the very next day.
