My partner and I shared the breakfast tacos and the ultimate breakfast sandwich, which we made vegetarian. Both of them were so amazing and the breakfast sandwich was super fluffy. My partner also got the coconut caramel iced chai, which was so good!! Would definitely come back here again!

Google
I love this place. Their menu is great, service is good and friendly. Good coffee. They have both indoor and outdoor seating options. The second floor is more confined and quiet, good for working or reading I guess. It gets busy during the weekends and parking is limited.

Google
This is one of the best coffee shops in the states in my opinion. A mixture of amazing specialty coffees and the best atmosphere I've seen. The downstairs is wall to wall with comfy booth seating, cute wooden paneling and warm lighting while the upstairs has a library section with couches all around. The oak milk foam cold brew was amazing and it was a bonus that it didnt cost extra for the oat milk. I would have thought it might be too sweet but it was perfect and the oat milk actually added to it as well. Later we got the banana bread late and while it was good, we would stick with the foam cold brew for next time. The staff was super friendly and pretty quick as well. One of the things I judge a place by is their hotsauce. They have Chipotle which is a great one and shows their taste. The only thing that was just okay was the wifi. We tried to work here all day and had to hot spot for most of it. Its not bad, but not good enough for some work. Overall a phenomenal coffee shop we will definitly be back to.

Google
If you like the cozy coffee house ambiance then "One Shot" is "giving". This was my first visit, I was here attending a Doordash event. Ian was warm and bubbly and even gave me some history about the building and highlighted some fixtures on the first floor . I had a Strawberry Vanilla Matcha Latte (hot) and the Breakfast Tacos. When I was leaving, an assortment of breakfast breads in a cute basket whispered to me"Take me with you..now". I grabbed Zucchini and the Strawberry Rhubarb for home. Strawberry Rhubarb never made it out of the car. The slices were thick and satisfying. I will be back again but I will ride the G1/15 and get off at Germantown Ave. The 4 minute walk is quick. Circling all through the tight streets to find a parking spot....is not.

Elote avocado toast was light and airy and delicious. Grilled cheese was tasty and comfort food. The coffee I had selected was mid but the food was the true highlight. 😊

Google
Stopped by in the morning for quick pick me up. The guy running the register was very kind and provided great customer service. I got a strawberry vanilla matcha and it was a little too sweet for my liking. Would have liked more matcha flavor (4/5). However, I liked my chocolate croissant! We toasted it back at home which I think made it taste better. I would come back, but I would try a different drink.

Google
Ordered through DoorDash - got three coffees, which everyone loved. The Crème Brûlée Cold Brew was my favorite, but the Oat Milk Honey Vanilla Cold Brew is so good too. I got the Hot Honey Focaccia Sandwich and it was huge! Also the hot honey gave it the perfect kick! Definitely would recommend and next time would like to visit in person and check out the atmosphere too!

Google
I love this place. Amazing place to do your work and have food. They have great customer service. I love how they have both indoor and outdoor seating areas, including upstairs. I had their salted caramelized lattee but I found vanilla matcha latte extremely sweet.

Yelp
By the other reviews, their regular breakfast food looks very respectable. I didn't realize that this was a bigger location, and it looked small but reasonable for a cafe size within the Philadelphia city limits. I got a random TooGoodToGo here and they are generous with their leftover pastries. I got 15 pastries (if I counted correctly) for the price of 3.99, and there was a more than respectable variety, which is not required of the app or strongly suggested anymore, but a great aspect to end up with, nonetheless. (Not every single pastry was different, but that is not a problem.) I don't know if I got lucky they have so many leftovers or they just like to make sure they are well stocked with fresh food when people do order regularly. If I want random TooGoodToGo pastries in this area, Delco, or Montco, my go-tos might be here or Maman Bakery in Ardmore. TopHat in Bala Cynwyd is a close second.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop in Philly. The shop itself is full of charm - it is warm and inviting on both the inside and outside, lined with breakfast tables and chairs enveloping the corner. As you approach the storefront, there are cute accents painted in bright colors on the brick exterior. The ambience is what sets this place apart from other coffee shops in the area. There's a collection of eclectic, vintage, mismatched accents throughout the first and second floors. Behind the counter, there is an old mailroom shelving unit that has been repurposed to stock coffee beans and extraneous goods. On the second floor is a motorcycle (random! I asked the cashier the story once and she had no answer) and a beautiful back room lined with tall bookshelves. Even the bathroom door fits the aesthetic with an old-lady lace window cover for privacy. There are always many people upstairs working or gathering socially. My favorite drink is the Almond Hazelnut Dirty Chai with almond milk - it balances the nutty flavor of hazelnut with the sweetness of almond while also having enough caffeine to keep me going throughout the day. I try to order their seasonal drinks which change pretty frequently. In February they did a feature with celebrity couples, naming drinks after them. The food is hit or miss. The Jalapeno Bomber Bagel is fine, ask for it slightly toasted. The cream cheese and bacon tends to slide around if you eat it like a sandwich so maybe eat it open-face ...I've ordered this twice and will probably void it in the future. The goat cheese omelette is YUM, avocado toast is filling and egg and cheese on brioche bun is also a winner. Avoid the wrapped breads on the counter - they have been slightly stale when I've ordered them...they bare dated so maybe look a little closer to scoop the freshest one. Overall, this is one of the many gems in Northern Liberties and seems to be a crowd favorite by many. If you're in the area, definitely opt for this shop over some of the others!

Yelp
Went on a little coffee hop experience with my friends in Philly and One Shot was our first stop. Let me tell you how we started well! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a focaccia breakfast sandwich that was absolutely spectacular! The coffee was good but the breakfast sandwiches really stole the show. All my friends really enjoyed it and overall I highly recommend. My dog also came with us and I was so glad they had tables outside where you are welcome to sit with furry friends. Although pets are not welcome inside which is understandable (aside from service dogs). The place was cute inside and outside, so overall great experience.

Yelp
This is still my favorite cafe in the neighborhood. Their dirty matcha latte is officially ranked as the best in my books. I wouldn't change one thing about it and will forever order that when I visit. Perfect balance of matcha, espresso and almond milk. Tad bit of sweetness but you can't taste it at all. The dirty matcha latte alone gives this place 5 stars! Came back for breakfast to try some new items. My bf still orders the burrito each time. I tried the house made veggie quiche and sadly disliked it. I couldn't even finish it. I wish it were baked a bit longer. Too eggy and a bit too strong of a dill flavor for me. Come here for the dirty matcha latte, coffee, burritos and great ambiance.

Yelp
The cute little cafe style location was worth the walk. The staff was kind. The burrito was delicious! Perfectly portioned and very tasty.

Yelp
Delicious cold brew. Very sweet but that's expected. I loved doing some work in this coffee shop. Great vibe. I want to come back to try their GF options.

Yelp
Adorable coffee shop!! Their ultimate breakfast sandwich?? Out of this world! My friend is a regular here, and I can see why! Ambiance and food are unmatched

Yelp
My go to coffee spot in the city. Not only is it a coffee shop, but you can also get a really nice meal here as well. Every time I come here, I end up trying something new. The best part about it, however, is the amount of space there is to hang out or do work! There is upstairs, downstairs, AND outdoor seating, so your never competing for a place to sit. The upstairs is the cutest! It gives off a little lofty library vibe filled tons of plants and natural lighting. If you get food, they bring it to you so there is no need to wait in one place for it. I definitely recommend this spot for studying, coffee, brunch, and meetings.

Yelp
One Shot Coffee has it all: great food, specialty drinks, and workspace. I've been here a couple of times and also recommended it to my friends visiting from out of town. The second floor is full of seating and outlets, perfect for hanging out or studying. My favorite menu item is the Baked Apple French Toast. Its cream cheese-like filling and roasted apples on top that perfectly complement the moist, syrup-soaked bread. It's also a sizable enough serving that I needed to take my leftovers home. My favorite drink is the Oat Milk Honey & Vanilla Cold Brew because it's got a hint of sweetness without it being overwhelming. I've got a sweet tooth, but I prefer my coffee flavors subtle. The other specialty lattes were a little too sweet for my liking. I've also tried the Chimchurri Lox Bagel, Salmon Avocado Toast, and Breakfast Burrito, all of which were light but filling brunch meals. I'm definitely interested in trying the other menu items whenever I come back.

Yelp
I ordered via Postmates so I can only imagine the in person experience. The chorizo breakfast burrito is AMAZING. I've never rushed to write a review to fast. As a Mexican and Los Angeles visitor I can attest to this being some of the best chorizo I've ever had. The flat white with vanilla syrup is equally delicious. Would definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Jahlil I.

Yelp
I like this coffee shop a lot. It has a chill vibe and the upstairs is a super cool work/eating space. The staff is always friendly and they always have new items to try.
google avatar

PJ S.

Yelp
Super busy on a weekend morning. Quiche was awesome as was the vegan tofu scramble and the avocado toast. Specialty tea drink with honey/cinnamon was WAYYYYYY too sweet.
google avatar

KJ S.

Yelp
Great coffee shop for enjoying coffee with a friend or working on your laptop for a bit. Cool vibe and space upstairs especially.
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
The drinks here were FLAWLESS! My friend got an almond milk blueberry chai and it was sensational. I would've never ordered something like that on my own but it was 10/10. SO GOOD. I got a pistachio hot chocolate with almond milk and it was also phenomenal. Except for the cashier who seemed highly disinterested the rest of the staff was really nice. The upstairs area was super cozy with all the books. It seemed like a lot of college kids hung out there. Anyway, I'd definitely be back for those drinks - really really great!
google avatar

Akilah S.

Yelp
Dope coffee shop. The vibe was cool! They were a group of guys just chatting, and I joined in the convo.... They all seem very cool. One of the guys was nice enough to take some photos of me with the cool space. I had the almond toffee latte.
google avatar

Alexa M.

Yelp
Good local coffee shop - one of the only ones that is larger with a lot of seating in the area. Great place to work from or have meetings. Coffee is expensive but you're also paying for the atmosphere. Haven't had their brunch yet but pastries are all pretty good!
google avatar

Yelp
Had this place bookmarked for a while but haven't had the chance to visit. After pottery, this place was the only cafe near by that was still open and has a food menu! Also I was looking for a place where it was laptop friendly. There is a downstairs and an upstairs for seating. Downstairs gave more of a sit down & eat vibe and upstairs is more of sitting down with laptop vibe. Once you order, they will give you a number to place on your table & they will find you. I went upstairs to do some work and that's when I felt like this place needs to be cleaned. I just didn't feel like upstairs was thoroughly cleaned & air circulation wasn't as great. Also, keep in mind that they close upstairs an hour before closing. Let's talk about the food! Excellent Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant with Hash brown. It was a good portion and definitely left me satisfied. Matcha Pistachio Rose Latte.. I am a matcha & pistachio lover but I wouldn't say I loved the drink. But also can't pinpoint what I don't love about it
google avatar

Kaley N.

Yelp
Came in here on Friday morning around 9am to grab some breakfast and get some work done. Started out with the pumpkin bread, which was nice and moist. I also got a decaf oat milk latte. This was very good, not too sweet. Definitely hit the spot. The shop got a bit busy around 10am, so I was glad I had a table before then. But overall there is good movement in the coffee shop and it's a nice spot to do some work. The staff are super nice. Will definitely come back when I'm back in the area.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
The entire building is adorable. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the rustic feel of the upstairs portion. The staff was really knowledgeable about what I'd like since I'm not a huge coffee drinker. We ended up ordering three lattes and they were the best I've had.

Yelp
If you're looking for a breakfast / brunch place that will blow your taste buds away, this is it. It's casual, it's spacious (no waiting outside for 45 minutes with 30 other people) and it's delicious. I'm annoyed with myself for not trying One Shot Cafe sooner. It's a GEM! You walk in, peruse the menu, place your order at the counter, pick a seat (downstairs and upstairs options) and await your food to be brought to you. Drink London Fog: This was a nostalgic choice for me. I nearly forgot about this beloved drink until discovering it on the menu. It's a cozy blanket on a rainy day with your favorite candle burning - in a cup. Food The daily Quiche with a side salad: Spinach and herbs with goat cheese and a flavorful crust. It slapped me across the face with flavor. Not dry and all and not too wet, it was the perfect amount of juiciness in my opinion. I appreciated the crust, I'm not a fan of quiche without crust bc the egg gets burnt and dry. Not a problem here. The salad was fresh and the dressing was flavorful. Chorizo Burrito: "Well crafted, neatly tucked in, plenty of meet and eggs, pretty much packed to brim but didn't fall apart, and it was delicious!" - my date Don't make the same mistake I did but waiting to go to One Shot Cafe. Go now and go often!

D. Jon L.

Yelp
Cozy place to hang out. The coffee is excellent as are the breakfast options. The French toast is ridiculously good. We like the upstairs "living room/library" for family gatherings. And we want to take the motorcycle home.

Tori F.

Yelp
Service was kind and quick. Coffee was delicious. Upstairs ambiance was incredibly relaxing. I brought a book and could've stayed there reading for hours. Really loved this place.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
My first visit to One Shot Cafe for brunch exceeded my expectations. Despite the bustling crowd, we received our food promptly and found a spot outdoors on a beautiful sunny day. The lively atmosphere, accompanied by great music and the friendly staff, added to the overall experience. I opted for the brioche French toast with apples and maple syrup, and it was truly exceptional. In fact, it ranks among the best French toast dishes I've ever had, and I consider myself quite the French toast connoisseur. The restaurant offers ample seating options across the outdoor area, first floor, and second floor. I'm genuinely tempted to try everything on their menu, and I can't wait to return whenever I find myself in Philadelphia again.
google avatar

Tykia M.

Yelp
The absolute cutest cafe. I'm in love with the inside of this place. You almost feel like you're in Eastern Europe but during a different time period. It just feels like home. The coffee, ugh so good I forgot to take a picture. Selfishly, I almost want to keep this place a secret.
google avatar

Asma A.

Yelp
Really cute coffee shop in the northern liberties area! They serve stumptown coffee (the best EVER) and have such a good food menu. Their breakfast is bomb! I tried the ultimate breakfast sandwich without bacon (the hashbrown inside the sandwich is a game changer), and the breakfast tacos which were also yummy (and filling). I went three days in a row while staying with a friend in Philly and already can't wait to go back! The only other thing I'll say is that it's a bit pricey but worth it overall.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Very cute area. It's quiet and filled with seating. It's located in a corner tucked away. Very casual chill vibes. Lots of unique interesting no other flavors. I got the Blueberry pistachio Chai latte. I don't think Blueberry and coffee goes well together but I gave this a go and I don't hate or love but I am very happy I tried it. So cute. Not great for hangout but great to get some work done and grab coffee while checking emails or journal for sure.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
One Shot is a neighborhood staple. Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches. My husband loves the New Orleans style cold brew, which can be hard to find. Just be prepared to wait a while for your food on weekends (they are always mobbed). Honestly we are always fine with waiting. Glad to have these guys in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Hemen B.

Yelp
A retro cafe with a beautiful decor and lovely upstairs with cosy sofas and books! Serving coffees, brunch, pastries and established in 2005 One shot cafe is a lovely cafe in the northern liberties of Philly. We had cappuccinos and they were great.
google avatar

Sharon S.

Yelp
What a wonderful spot for reading, writing, or meeting up with friends! I've been coming here since I was in high school and it became more and more popular since then. I came in pretty early so I can snatch a good seat upstairs and ordered myself a quad shot iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Their milk substitutes are either oat or almond milk (sad because I love my soy!). Their lattes are on the pricier side ($10 and some change for my order), but what isn't expensive nowadays? I also didn't mind too much because it was a delicious latte that satisfied my caffeine addiction. I can taste the espresso (strong and a bit acidic) and the vanilla flavor wasn't overpowering, which is usually my qualm with most flavored lattes. The upstairs seating area was quiet and relaxed from 8-10 AM but got a bit more loud and packed around 11 AM; so keep that in mind if you are there to do intense reading or writing!
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Great food and awesome coffee (non caffeinated options) with an all around great vibe. The upstairs is sooo dope. Great place to grab a morning sandwich and do some work.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is amazing. The first floor is very cozy. But the second floor is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has plenty of space to work and to catch up with friends. I was excited to try the coffee, but I was disappointed. I ordered an almond milk blueberry chai. I did not like the addition of the blueberry to my chai. I don't think I will order this beverage again. I plan to revisit this coffee shop.
google avatar

Mohmeet C.

Yelp
We needed a coffee spot to stop at when we entered Philly for breakfast so we decided to try this place. The vibes were immaculate and the music was really nice. The baristas were great, but I think the coffee and food was lacking. See my ratings breakdown below: Ambiance: 5/5 - Great music, great vibes and everyone was super friendly. Loved hanging out here and it made me not want to leave. Price: 3/5 - The coffee was priced normally, however the bagel was expensive. I paid about $12 for the pictured bagel and I think that is a bit high for it. Food: 3/5 - The coconut matcha latte I got seemed like it would be a good idea, however the match flavor felt too powdery and the coconut then overtook that. The mix did not sit well with me at all. I also tried their Iced Mocha, but it ended up being too bitter. I would have liked it to be a bit sweeter and the chocolate flavor more pronounced. Service: 5/5 - The baristas were all friendly and very accommodating! Overall, I would give this place a 2.9/5 as the coffee missed the mark for me and the food was too expensive for a breakfast bagel.
google avatar

Arielle V.

Yelp
Let me start by saying One Shot does have very good coffee. However, I think their prices are unreasonable. I love coffee and will pay for a good cup, but each time I have gone to One Shot, I can't believe how much it is! My standard order is a café au lait with oat milk. Which is a regular coffee with a bit of steamed milk on top. Usually a café au lait is more expensive than a regular coffee because there is a bit more milk. However, I also have to pay an extra $1 because of the oat, even though it is a much smaller amount than a latte. One shot does have a nice atmosphere and from other reviews it looks like the upstairs is nice as well! I can't say I'm never going to go back, but it is usually when I am desperate for a good coffee and don't have time to go anywhere else.
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Adorably appointed cafe with great coffee, tasty baked treats and healthful entrees. The dishes were a tad under seasoned but the condiments provided at each table allowed me to correct the issue.
google avatar

Sebastian R.

Yelp
One Shot Coffee is a great cafe for studying, meeting clients, getting work done!! They also carry Kasmet bagels!! Great coffee me pastries!

Elise S.

Yelp
My GO TO order is a pesto grilled cheese and a blueberry pie chai latte. I never finish dissatisfied.
google avatar

Julie J.

Yelp
I have been to one shot multiple times since this review and my perspective has changed. First, their food and drinks are really good! So, when I come here, I know I'll be paying more than usual. The service is always great and they have interesting and tasty seasonal specials. They also have a big space upstairs to hang out or work, and they have WiFi. I know times are tough for small businesses right now, so if you can afford to splurge a little, this is a lovely spot to do so!
google avatar

Eileen D.

Yelp
Got the ultimate breakfast sandwich and it was delicious!!! Came here to sit down and work, and was just a bit disappointed at the lack of outlets by the sit down area (not sure if there was more at the counter). Everyone was super friendly and they played nice music :D would come again to work with fully charged computer
google avatar

Heather V.

Yelp
Great food and great drinks. Ordered their black iced tea and it changed my life. We also had banana bread and their focaccia egg sandwich breakfast from the specials menu. Really delicious. Such a cute vibe as well.

Scott M.

Yelp
Great spot for late morning brunch. Friendly service and the food quality is top notch. Had a delicious almond latte too. Upstairs is nice and quiet if you want to work or read while you eat.

Qin D.

Yelp
Great drinks, and service. I'm gluten free and ate here yesterday. I can usual eat out with few issues but unfortunately I am now ill. Just a note to let other gluten free individuals know they may have issues.

Yelp
I work from home and am always on the hunt for a good wfh spot for when I need to get out of the house. This spot was recommended by a friend in the area. My favorite part of the coffee shop was that they had a lot of good seating options and reliable wifi, which made it a great spot to camp out and get some work done during the day. One thing I'd note was that the upstairs section was VERY cold when I went (like I was wearing a full winter coat inside cold). I'm not sure if they just didn't have the heat on or what was going on, but something that did detract from the experience, unfortunately. The upstairs seating area was also closed at 3pm, so that is another note to keep in mind. The latte was good (a little pricey, but I guess most coffee shops are these days) but didn't stay warm for very long. Id recommend requesting them to steam the milk to be extra hot. Will be back, maybe on a warmer day next time!

Yelp
This is a surprisingly cute coffee shop in my neighborhood, just past ACME grocery store in Fishtown. It gets quite crowded with young people studying and doing work. It has 2 floors: upstairs has a library, couches and additional tables and chairs. However, it closes at 3 PM whereas the coffee shop closes at 5 PM. I really wished it closed at the same time because there's not enough seats downstairs. Prices are a bit expensive. It costs $4 for an 8 oz cappuccino but has a pretty artwork on the coffee foam. The oatmeal cookie was $4 which was huge but not soft enough. I'm not a fan of crispy cookie. Overall a cute coffee shop. I would recommend as a place to study or catch up with your girlfriends.

Conga B.

Yelp
So I'm doing computer work upstairs and I figure may as well patronize with a food order. Well One Shot did not disappoint. Look Ive had Avocado Toast all over the city and One Shot Avocado toast was by far the best ever, no one comes close. You have to understand most avocado toast comes with the Avocado smashed into the toast and it's very heavy. However One shot has a whole different angle. They take the avocado and put it in slices on top of the multi grain toast with the lettuce and the cherry tomatoes and now for the big event: Crispy Chickpeas.... are you kidding me,, totally amazing flavor and addition ,,, brilliant ,,, I mean serious no avocado toast comes close ,, look Melissa the owner has been here awhile and knows her stuff,,, it takes experience to know perfection,,,,
google avatar

Thomas J.

Yelp
Outrageously expensive for what it is. Everyone here is unhappy at the world and has no interest in doing their actual job. Owner opened up a huge coffee shop in a hipster neighborhood and wonders why people show up with a laptop to do some work. She'll come yell at you if she thinks you've been there too long and they close the upstairs area right after breakfast so they can kick out anyone on a laptop. They change the Wi-Fi password daily so they can vet you before they let you online. Didn't order enough? No password for you. She also got caught stealing employees credit card tips - twice. Once could be wrote off as a mistake. But twice? No wonder everyone hates working there. Bizarre.

Yelp
Randomly found myself here last Sunday. It was pretty busy in here we placed our order at the counter and found a table to eat our meal. Loved the coffee and my avocado toast! Didn't really like the idea of taking all the dishes to the back after. Other than that solid!

Yelp
Have had good experiences to date but this time, sadness. Eggs were runny and didn't ask for so much pepper!!! French toast undercooked and disgustingly soggy. Looks like the menu is entirely more complicated. Surcharging for everything. Eggs your way used to include a salad hashbrowns and toast but now you choose one and the others are all surcharges. After coming here for years, sad to say that I am going to have to find a new place.

Yelp
The interior is absolutely beautiful: the outdoor area is small but cute and refreshing, the inside is equally lovely much larger than it looks with an upstairs section and plenty of seating. Great for any occasion: breakfast with the family, cute date, brunch with friends, or just a day out on your own. I ordered the blueberry pie chai was amazing. The milk was foamed perfectly and there was a perfect blend of blueberry and chai with each complimenting each other rather than overshadowing; it was a little too sweet. However, someone else had taken my drink by accident and the barista seemed to have an attitude with me although I was waiting patiently.

Yelp
This place was amazing; especially for working remotely. Parking was easy enough to find on one of the side streets. The upstairs seating area is so calm and cozy and there's plenty of space. They even have two upstairs bathrooms. If you order downstairs they'll being your order right up to you! I got the egg white avocado beacon breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! It came on a brioche bun and was absolutely to die for. I also got a strawberry lemonade and a homemade muffin. The atmosphere here was great and the baristas were super helpful and funny! Will definitely be back.
