An incredibly iconic skyscraper that I personally feel has it's own right to the New York skyline, independent from the original Twin Towers but being a rightful successor to them. The building is beautiful, and the illusion that it looks like it goes on indefinitely when looking up at it from the ground is a great touch. The tower is brimming with architectural brilliance and it was awesome to go inside and visit.

Also a nice viewpoint and from a completely different angle than top of the rock and summit. There is only one disadvantage taking pictures is very difficult because of the very reflective windows, especially in places where the sun shines in. That was a bit of a shame. but otherwise a nice view. And it has a super cool elevator. A selfie stick was not allowed inside, we had to hand it in at security and then pick it up again when we came down. No problem of course. You also have to reserve a time slot when buying the tickets at the machine.

I’ll always miss the towers, wish they’d have rebuilt them as-was to make a point, but this complex was well-done rebuilding the site which was absolutely devastated for blocks and blocks. The observatory is great, the restaurant up top is overrated, there is a Westfield shopping center. It’s an active site and surrounding area with the memorial pools and museum. Recommend visiting when in NYC.

Parked two blocks away on Broadway. Walk to One Trade Center was bittersweet bringing back memories of 911. The memorial was amazing! The build was beautiful as we entered the airport style security. Walk through a dark walkway displaying history of NY on way to elevator. Elevator ride was jet fast 47 seconds, displaying the progression of NY city on the side of the cab. Once on top, you watch a short video of NY then the screen opens up to your first glimpse of the spectacular view of Manhattan! Picked up my interactive iPad and enjoyed all the breathtaking view in every direction. Upscale restaurant on top of the world is a must! Food and drinks were delicious. On the way down, visit the humongous atrium to experience the vibe of NYC. A must visit for everyone.

One of the most iconic buildings not only in NY but all over this world ! No 1 place to visit when in NY .. so much of history and so many emotions behind this building . This is the iconic symbol of New York and very easily accessible with public transportation.. Path train from Newark stops just next to WTC . There is also a museum outside the tower which is very expensive . About 33-36$ entry tickets. Wish they made it a little cheaper for everyone to see and learn all stories of this wonderful place . Couldn't locate many restrooms but I'm sure there are few . Parking is very ever expensive all around this place . We parked few blocks away.. can go here any number of times to witness this beauty . Just love this place .

It took many years for the powers that be to decide what to do with this area, and many more years to actually do it. Sometimes government gets things right. This is a beautiful, poignant, powerful part of New York City. The reflecting pools are an incredible reminder of what happened here. The buildings and river are beautiful. Even with the bus loads of insensitive tourists grinning while taking 'selfies' with the reflecting pools in the background, it makes for an unforgettable day.

Peaceful. What a beautiful dedication to an event in American history that will forever hold a place in our hearts. God bless America.

Really love the five star dinner and the observatory. You do have to have a reservation to eat dinner here. I was on a time crunch and had made a reservation months in advance. A rude lady went ahead of me trying to pretend she had a reservation when she did not. She held us up for like 20 minutes, arguing with the host. I really feel like the host should've made them step aside. Hence the 4 star review. Otherwise, this is a good memory. Definitely recommend going for the experience.

Awesome New York landmark. Its got an amazing ceiling that allows natural light to come in and the view of the light is beautiful. In addition, its got a mix of clothing and restaurant stores inside. I only purchased coffee and some food from a coffee shop inside. It is also a hub for the PATH and MTA station where people can transfer and get to their destination in NY from NJ. Outside is a beautiful work of architecture. Would love to take some pictures in the future of it : )

A majestic building. When one is there it just feels like a solemn place. The building is built beautifully to show we will never forget. While there you can't forget the horror which happened, but we are a resilient people.

Not sure why the One World Trade Center and One World Trade Center observatory are listed separately, but the reviews are essentially the same. Disclaimer: I never wanted to visit this spot because it's ultra touristy and I perceived it to be overrated, however my friend wanted to visit the "tallest building," and this is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere (number 7 in the world I think). I purchased the most expensive package, the VIP tour. For two tickets, this cost over 166 dollars. This included a 15 dollar credit for merchandise or food for each patron, as well as priority entry. The priority entry was great, and honestly the main reason I chose this option. I don't like waiting in lines. The rest was a total bust. Our guide, I will omit their name, was a very nice person. But they talked too much and too fast and the tour contained way too much technical information. For over an hour, the guide droned on about various buildings and businesses, and there was very little room for banter or questions. I feel like these guides must be on a timeline and have a specific script they are supposed to stick to. My companion asked why I didn't ask the guide to stop talking. What was I supposed to do? At the end, I really wondered if I should have just said, "We appreciate you, but I only purchased the VIP pass for skip the line access, and also thought it would be more than just naming random buildings at high speed." My friend was blown away by the views, but it was dampened by the blabbering guide. She was exhausted to the point I had to take her back to the hotel to take a nap. Me personally, I prefer the Empire State Building. Not as high up, but can't beat the 1920s decor, Art Deco fixtures, and the fanfare. Our tour was so early that we couldn't capitalize on the nicer restaurant (though the pickings were slim there too). We didn't want to wait in line at the overpriced grab and go cafe. We didn't want "swag" from the store. So the 15 dollar credit was a joke and a waste. I can appreciate what One World Trade Center and the observatory represents. It was well planned and is a beautiful building. But this is very touristy, with long lines. And the VIP tour is a waste of money when you look at value. I literally only did this for my friend, and even she was bummed at the overall experience. I tried to tell her, but sometimes you have to learn on your own . . .

WTC 1. The Skyscraper formerly known as the FREEDOM TOWER. Previously the site of the TWIN TOWERS Buildings which I was only in twice for business reasons. ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER is a magnificent structure which opened in 2014. WORTH VISITING.

Due to my short time in NYC, I only came to visit the outside park areas and see the reflecting pools...I didn't pay to visit the museum and learn more about 9/11, which I lived through in my 20s. But it's still worth some of your time to visit the reflecting pools and walk around the lovely the park. It's hard to believe this peaceful park was once a center of chaos and destruction. This is somber and dark historic place of remembrance...so have some respect and class, and don't take selfies with a big touristy smiles to get more social media followers. This isn't that kind of place.

MANHATTAN/Financial District & Lower Manhattan: The World Trade Center campus is a beautiful area to walk around with public spaces to gather, enjoy, and reflect. See murals, fountains, green areas, learn history, pay respects at the 9/11 Memorial, and see how the area has transformed. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed to walk around the outskirts of the property for stunning views; please be respectful.

One world trade center is a great place to go with lots of history all around you. I went a few months ago and had a blast!!! I love the view inside and outside of the one World Trade Center and enjoyed walking through the trade center and going into some of the stores. It's a great place to explore and enjoy NYC, whether going with others or alone. It has different shops, theaters and restaurants in and around it.

This is a landmark center in the financial district. They have done a great job in creating an area to give tribute to 9/11, then there is a one world observatory, huge mall with lot of shops, subway access, good centers etc. There are a lot of photo areas created to attract tourists. Beautiful place and must visit area.

A must see when visiting New York to pay tribute to everyone who lost their lives that day. It gets pretty busy & crowded. New York is just a fast paced city that does not stop for anyone. There's some vendors in the area selling basic water/snacks. Restrooms are all the way in the mall. Kinda glad they were though because we probably wouldn't have stopped inside being that we didn't know what it was. We parked a few blocks down. Parking was like $60-$70 because we had an XL vehicle. The parking itself was kinda sketchy but all was good! You can get lost here for a few hours learning the history & all. Definitely recommend visiting if you're visiting NY. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time in our itinerary to attend the museum.

Absolutely a surreal experience. I'm so happy I was able to make it out here to pay my respects. This entire area is a beautiful memorial and a really nice shopping area. You can tell this place brings people together, and it was a refreshing feeling. The oculus and the memorial are basically connected and both are worth looking into. The shopping in the area is great - especially if you're info high-end brands. Please be respectful when visiting the actual memorial fountains - it's not really an appropriate place to take a selfie, even if the area is really beautifully done.

Definitely a must for each and every American born before or after 9/11. It's thread in our fabric which has re-defined the U.S. The site's fountain is very moving and I recommend sitting and remembering what you saw in footage or read, or experienced on those days. The top of the WTC1 is a great way to check it out, it's not cheap but it gives you a solemn perspective and not just a jaw-dropping view. Highly recommended.

This is an absolute must see if you are ever in NYC. The site of one of the most viscous attacks in US history. The entire place has a "feel" to it that is almost ghostly. I've seen this area on the news and various documentaries for 20 years but I've never seen it in person. It's so hard to reconcile this place as it currently is with the level of level of destruction and carnage that once was. I'm not a religious woman but I did take a knee and offer a prayer for the fallen and the their families. I'm glad I finally saw this area in person. My wife was brought to tears. As was I.

It was really cool, especially the Trash Can :) Would benefit from some free marmalade sandwiches and private Danny DeVito sessions, if you know what I mean ;)

This has to be a stop on your itinerary if you are visiting NYC. It was truly surreal be standing in this historical location and knowing its impact. This memorial, created in honor of those impacted by this tragic event is exquisite. I would advise purchasing online tickets to avoid the long lines to enter the exhibit

So, I did a lot of research before coming in to see which observation deck I wanted to come to. I had been to the older observation decks when I lived in NYC and the two choices I had this time weren't even buildings yet when I lived there. Unfortunately, One World Trade Center didn't win in the choice between the two. However, we didn't feel tired after our flight in, so after filling up on delicious cocktails, we decided to come in during the last entrance time. I don't know if this was a blessing or a curse but I will say that I am glad we decided to do both. I didn't realize how emotional the trip would make me, given how one of the top things I wanted to do when I first moved to NYC was to eat at Windows on the World, only to watch the twin towers fall a few months later. I will say I appreciate the amount of respect given to that tragedy while still making this a tourist attraction. The blessing? There was no line. Not a line to buy tickets, not a line at security, not a line to get to the elevator. There were maybe 4 other people on their way up with us. The views were fantastic and I loved the art installations. The movie in the elevator is powerful and very, very well done (better than the "other" place I might add.) The curse? People weren't in line because they were already upstairs. The crowd was intense. It was mostly people camped out, finishing their filming of the sunset. There are little skyline barbs that I think are to prevent people from sitting and camping out. They do not work. It was pretty hard to get close enough to the window to not take a glare picture. However, we made due and it was a very nice experience.

What an incredible experience! The journey starts on the elevator that has a video of the construction of NYC throughout the years. When you finally reach the observatory, the 360 degree views are incredible. So breathtaking! If you have a chance, do make reservations to eat at the restaurant, ONE Dine, up in the sky! The menu is limited, but I highly recommend the Steakhouse Burger which includes Gruyère cheese and port wine onions. A chefs kiss! Our waiter Haque was just fantastic! All in all, an amazing experience!

What an experience going to the World Trade Center. Almost and eerie vibe here. Definitely makes you feel sad thinking about all the names and people lost. You also get a sense of feeling so small and temporary when visiting ground zero. It's an odd thing that we have this place where people go to "ooh and aah" and take photos, when so many lives were lost that day on September 11th. I can't even imagine what people went through that day, and the horror they faced. Such a tragedy. This has become a tourist attraction, but let's not forget what this is really about. Ground zero is huge. The pictures don't even do it justice. It really makes you think about a building that big and extremely high, collapsing. The damage it caused. It's crazy to think about.

I would definitely recommend a stop up to the observation decks in WTC (Tower One aka Freedom Tower) while in NYC!! The cost of normal admission is $38- there are plenty of packages, including the priority pass, that enables you to skip the line and gives you $15 vouchers. I had the priority pass but found that both lines were the same (short), and felt I paid the extra money for nothing. The vouchers you are able to use in the gift shop or at the restaurant. It's best to buy tickets online and avoid the line once inside to purchase them. You will pass through metal detectors upon arrival, and then take the elevator up to the 102nd floor (in 42 seconds). The walls of the elevator are a moving picture, showing you the city from 1800's until now. I personally didn't love the elevator experience because the graphics made me nauseous (I do get motion sickness reading in cars). Breath-taking 360-degree views once on the observatory deck of all of NYC.

This activity was booked during a 5-day trip to NYC. It was my first time visiting the One World Trade Center, and it was a highlight of the trip. The elevators added a cinematic touch while the views were unobstructed. We selected an entry time for the sunset. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted without being ushered out. It was easy to spend a few hours here.

Obviously One World Trade Center does not have the same history as the Empire State or Chrysler building, but it does offer one of the best views of New York. The elevator up is cool, it has a panoramic video timeline of New York City. The tickets are quite pricey for just a lift and a view, but this is a must do when coming to New York. I recommend buying the tickets online and avoiding the long lines at the ticket counter.

One this day...Thinking of the lives lost, the families forever impacted by this tragic event & the first responders & volunteers who helped in the recovery efforts and cleanup- It forever changed not only the skyline, but the hearts of New Yorkers and the world. Lest we forget. Forever in our hearts.

This was one of my main places I wanted to go while in town this trip. From seeing the fountains of the former locations of the towers to the new building - it really is breath taking. America. Forever and a Day.

We spent a week in NYC and this was one of my least favorite things to do honestly. However, with that said it was still a must see and had good things. Pros- the elevator to the observation deck was really interesting. The view at sunset was beautiful. Cons- there is a glare at night on the glass. Hard to get a clear picture. The fact that we were on the same level as where so many Americans chose to jump broke my heart. Gift shop is blah

Fortunately, we got a really nice hotel room in the Financial District, and we were only a block away from this beautiful structure. First time I've stayed in Lower Manhattan, and every time we walked out of our hotel we had an amazing view, night and day. Unfortunately, I never saw the Twin Towers, but I was in the City December 2001, saw the huge hole in the ground, and was fortunate enough to watch the progression of construction on One World, in several subsequent visits. The building, and surrounding area is amazing. On our next visit I want to make sure to visit the 911 memorial and spend more time exploring Lower Manhattan.

How can you visit NYC without stopping at the One World Trade Center at least once?! This building might be seen as a place of work to some of the locals, but it's definitely iconic in its' own right. It's one of the tallest and most easily recognizable buildings in all of New York. And of course, it's a reminder of a painful past; the September 11th attacks. I can't believe that 19 years have officially passed since the terrorist attacks. Time really flies. This building is so recognizable. The exterior of the Freedom Tour and Oculus is just so incredibly stunning. People will just stop and stare at this beauty from that middle of the street. But can you blame them? I mean... I did it too. It's definitely one of NY's most prominent landmarks. Aside from the exterior, what's even more intriguing is actually being able to walk inside. The view of Oculus from the inside of the trade center is just absolutely insane. Furthermore, you can walk around and shop until you drop as there are so many different stores to choose from at the bottom of the trade center. If you want to see what NYC looks like from the top of the Freedom Tour, you can purchase a ticket to take the elevator to the observatory. I personally didn't do this since I've been to a few different observatories in NY already over the years, but I can see why the observatory is also a popular attraction. Right across from One World Trade Center is another beautiful landmark; the 9/11 Memorial and Reflecting Pool. It's actually pretty hard to miss as you pass by the 9/11 Memorial Museum on your way to the Trade Center. It's all so breathtaking just like most of the other prominent landmarks in NYC. If you've never been inside of the One World Trade Center, make it a destination on your next visit to New York. It's an iconic building that must be seen up close. "Never forget!"

What a great experience this was. We visited NYC just this past December on a quick trip and had to come since it came highly recommended. It was absolutely beautiful all the way up. This is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, so the views are breathtaking. Tickets will cost you anywhere between $45-$50. You can either get them from their website directly or like us, we went the Groupon way. We didn't do the tour guide option and decided just to do our own thing on our own time. They have a little restaurant and cafe also if you are in the mood for eats and drinks. The observation deck has 360 degree views of all NY and its surroundings. Unbelievable. This is definitely a spot you do not want to pass up seeing. Well worth the money.

It is so Beautiful and new I haven't been there in 11 years but it felt like nothing happened there or should I say the feeling of being there was clean and clear. My spirit didn't feel any sorrow. So that was good because when you are a sensitive you'll pick up different vibes than everyone else. The stores are bright everyone seemed to be very peaceful. You could actually go and spend the Day there from 9 to Five and bring your walking shoes.

This place was so fun to tuor I flew right though it. This place is the Bomb and will make you collapse after the tour. I saw a plane fly by and got truama though

Did the Mastercard tour with Chris! Awesome presentation of an amazing place. The tour was informative and extensive and Chris was entertaining, accommodating amd gave great tips, also. What a show and it starts as soon as you step into the elevator. Highly recommended for any trip to the City.

Absolutely stunning!!! If you come to visit nyc I highly recommend making a trip to visit the site. We made it with only 15 min left before they closed for visitors. But we made it worth while! Next time I visit I am coming earlier to see more of the area!! It's a MUST SEE!!!

Easily one of the top attractions in all of Gotham, the 9/11 Memorial exists today as a place of remembrance right in the center of the rebuilt World Trade Center area which my partner's family and I paid respect last Tuesday. When one enters the memorial the very first thing you will notice are two memorial pools. Placed in the footprints of the North and South Tower, the cascade of water that pours from the rim creates a peaceful atmosphere. The tallest building is Tower One, otherwise known as the Freedom Tower. The top of this building is home to One World Observatory with beautiful views of the surrounding area. While we were not able to access the inside of the Museum due to time constraints, it's highly recommended to reserve a time slot to allow crowd control. Because of Covid, like anywhere else in NYC, you must have an ID, and a valid current vaccination proof with you. It's a moment in history worth remembering.

Recommend going to the top of One World Trade and looking down on all of New York City

If there's only one world, then what's this "third world" I keep hearing about? I'm not a huge fan of this building, largely because it's not, well, huge. Not like the other ones were. I hate to be a size queen about it, but yeah. I remember going to the Top of the World Trade Center back in 1999. It was my favorite building in the world. Literally in the whole world. There was nothing like those enormous towering concrete blocks that each took up an entire city block. There was nothing in the world like that. Not to me anyway. There still isn't. It was horrible to lose them, all the loss of life, and the terrible things that have been done because of those events, justified by those events, but on a purely personal level, I was very sad that my favourite buildings were no longer in existence. I don't think the building that they have put in its place is anything remarkable or special. It was more profound when it was just a huge spotlight aimed into the sky. This new building looks a lot like some of the tall buildings in other parts of the world such as the Far East. It has no reflection on the original, and doesn't look half as big. Because, sure, technically with the spire it may be taller, but it doesn't even look half the size, because the other buildings took up an entire city block, and this - well it's just a normal size skyscraper to me. As for going up... it's very expensive, and was nowhere near as thrilling as going up the original WTC was, which was a 10 out of 5 rating for me. And I never ever exaggerate. Ever.

Purely reviewing this as a building since there are separate Yelp pages for the observatory, memorial and museum, Oculus, etc. This building is gorgeous! It's easy to forget that it is "just the office" to some people, but impossible to forget why it stands where it is today. It is definitely the most beautiful and unique building on the Manhattan skyline. Every time I would see it peeping into view I would say "wow" in my head. It's the tallest building in the US and I love that they built in an observatory so you can experience and appreciate the view. You can easily get to it from the train and there is a lot to explore around the area from the memorial fountains to the occasional pop-up food market.
