The 21 Essential Maui Restaurants

"Every Saturday, Only Ono BBQ hosts a dim sum drive-in at the Heritage Hall in Pā‘ia. Just text in your order by Friday night, arrive at your chosen time slot, and pay via Venmo or cash in a sealed envelope, and your food is brought to your car. There isn’t a single dud on the menu, but standouts include the juicy siu mai, bolo bao, and what might be the crispiest, most decadent roast pork outside of China. Chef Keith Apana also knows barbecue inside out, so if there’s a Texas brisket special, nab it. And if you miss Saturday’s rendezvous, you’ll have a second chance the next day. Only Ono sells a pared-down menu, plus roast duck, at the Maui Sunday Market in Kahului. Either way, make sure to pre-order." - Shannon Wianecki, Bill Addison

Google
Cantonese comfort food at its best! We tried their crispy pork belly, char siu, bolo bao, Jung, char siu bao, and the brisket curry (a special) and WOW, everything was so good. Check their website for pop up/pre order information. The food tasted just as good (if not better) than how my grandma made it with a little Hawaiian and BBQ/smoky flair. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in Maui!

Google
Wow! The bbq meats were exceptional. This was the best siu yuk (crispy roast pork) we've had, including the ones we've had in Hong Kong (where my husband's family is from). The skin remained crispy while the meat was still juicy. A spicy mustard sauce helped cut the fat. The char siu tasted smoky from the smoker and was tender, not dried out like other places (the cut might have been pork belly?). We also tried the dim sum box for 2. The stir fry items (spicy eggplant and chicken for the lettuce cups) had good wok hei flavor but got a little oily at the end. The pot sticker filling was on the dry side but still tasted good. The almond float had a beautiful consistency and texture. The siu mai (ordered a la carte) were different from expected, but we appreciated this version -- a homey style made with wonton wrappers that tasted refreshing with ginger inside. Overall, anything with pork belly is top notch but it can be a heavy and greasy meal in one sitting. Our new strategy is to order by the pound and treat ourselves to slices of char siu throughout the week to space out the decadence. Too bad the siu yuk can't keep as leftovers -- but that is worth eating right away inside the car! Note that the drive through format is not the same as picking up a pre-order because you wait about 15-20 min after arrival. But this method guarantees you get your food freshly prepared and that nothing sits cold. Holes are poked in containers for crispy items so they don't steam and get soggy. Overall, this is a very thoughtful and enjoyable process because we can eat right away in our car after getting served unlike traditional take out.

Google
Best crispy roast pork and BBQ pork cha siu I've had in a long time (last time was maybe 2017 in Hong Kong). Both pork dishes were well-marbled with perfect ratio of fat and lean. The crispy pork held up well on the hour drive back to Kaanapali. The sticky rice, pineapple bun, bbq pork bun and egg tarts are really good too! I'd definitely seek out Only Ono again on my next Maui trip.

Google
Only Ono BBQ has some of the best Crispy Roast Pork I've ever had in my entire life, and I'm pretty confident in that statement. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the rest of their Chinese BBQ offerings, but wow, I was really impressed. We stumbled upon Only Ono BBQ at a Maui market where there was always a constant line. Curious, we decided to take a peek and ordered a 1/2 pound of Crispy Roast Pork. The cuts were huge. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the skin was exceptionally crispy. You know that moment when you have something so good you can't wait to share it with your friends and family? That one bite that you keep thinking about every day after because it was so good? Well, it was exactly like that! I would definitely keep my eye on Only Ono BBQ - this place has the potential to take off. I can easily see it becoming a top food destination in Maui.

Auntie in out here putting out bangers. The Gau Gee and Sui Mai are insane. BBQ pork done to perfection. Located in the back. Will def be back for more.

I really liked the roast pork and other meat cuts that my friends got! I got the manapua and thought it was alright, I wish it had a slight bit more filling but it was a good price for what was offered! - Miguel Morales Photography

Google
Absolutely fantastic roast pork and char siu. Perfect blend of crispy skin, juiciness, flavorful marinade and high quality pork. The shumai, dumplings, bun and shrimp toast were also really good. Will go out of my way to get on our next trip to Maui.

Google
Having been to Only Ono for dim sum countless times I am ashamed that this is my first review. Keith and Toni, the chef proprietors, are the nicest people you will meet BUT let's talk about the dim sum! In a word it is TERRIFIC and as good as any we have had even in Hong Kong. The Siu Mai, Crispy Pork Belly, Char Siu, Char Siu Bao (Manapua), Chicken Curry Puffs (totally addictive), Dan Tat, Gao Gee, Lo Mai Fan and everything else on the menu is delicious. We go on Saturdays to their location at Heritage Hall in Paia (order ahead online) where one can go for pick up. We just sit in our car and eat right there to get it at its best. We are on Maui several months a year and the Saturday journey to Paia for Only Ono's dim sum is one of our highlights. Only Ono has set up a booth at the Sunday Kahului market and various other places so be sure to find one of them. Exquisite in every way.

Yelp
Visiting from the Mainland and wanting to take in a local event, we visited the Kihei 4th Friday event which features all local vendors, entertainment and food. We have been here 5 days eating poke everyday so it was time to change it up. Being Chinese, I was drawn to the roast pork which I saw being chopped up as well as char siu and joong ( sold out). So, went with the half pound of roast pork and 4 manapuas aka BBQ pork buns. Even before we left the parking lot, I opened up the roast pork and we each took a bite. We both said "wow, it's so tender, juicy and flavorful". Hubby noted the 5 spice powder seasoning as well. When we got back to the room, I opened up the box and started dipping the roast pork in the mustard based sauce. Double yummy! The roast pork in the manapua is tender, perfect sweetness and plentiful. Next time we come to Maui, we are going to check out their shop. Amazing!!!

Yelp
Love what these guys are doing. Popup events only really. I've tried the takeout in Paia but it's a little tedious showing up at a time they give you to pickup and still having to wait a bit etc... imo much better experience at the night markets. Of course the crispy roast pork is where it's at. Had it numerous times and it always hits perfect. Egg tart is really good too. I think the dimsum is alright but I am admittedly a snob so we'll keep it at that. Looking forward to trying the duck next!

Yelp
My bf and I decided to try this place last month after he saw a TikTok raving about the roast pork. We did online ordering and followed the instructions via text for our pick-up window. We got there at the time selected, sent the text with our name and cone number and waited. We waited maybe 15-20 mins before my bf asked someone we saw come out about our order. They unfortunately were out off the rice so they subbed it for char siu instead. Both cooks of meat were good and had good flavor. We were disappointed we didn't get to try the rice and weren't told until we got there. Plus the additional wait time. Overall it was a decent experience.

Yelp
Best Chinese roast pork, roast duck, custard tarts, manapua, and dim sum on Island. The roast pork is crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The egg tarts light and fluffy. Baked char siu manapua are tasty and airy. Dim sum- pork hash, siu mai and har gow are steamed and fresh. All items are served with hot mustard. When I need my dim sum fix, Only Ono BBQ is my go to.

Yelp
Ok I'm going to keep this simple. I'm pretty strict on my reviews but this place is a slam dunk place. Get the roast pork. And make sure you order ahead. This place has my literal favorite roast pork ever. The meat itself is moist, flavorful, and the texture of the skin is like a chicharron. That's it. Get it.

Yelp
Just look at the picture and that pretty much sums it up. Pre-ordered a whole duck. We had pork and other things too. But just look at that freshly roasted duck. Look at it! Because it tastes even better than it looks. Friendly people too. Not to be missed.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try Only Ono BBQ and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Of course we had to try the Chinese Roast Duck which was delicious. The sides were Chow Fun and Lo Mai Fan along with pork and shrimp Siu Mai and Har Gow. The Hargow stole the show for me...so Ono! It was a fantastic feast of a meal that we loved! We did to go from Paia and enjoyed at home. Service was great with easy online ordering and they bring the food to your vehicle.

Yelp
Ok, I tried them again today. Wanted dim sum. Tried something new: their manapua. Also gave their har gao and sticky rice another chance. Manapua: good flavor! But I got raw dough and ate some accidentally since it was on the bottom of the manapua (hope I don't get sick). Har gao: good flavor, different from dim sum ones but good. The pi still needs work (it's very thick and chewy/hard). Sticky rice: good flavor. But some rice grains were hard--needs more cooking time. Their service is faster than my initial review, so that's a plus! Food is better! Not quite what you'd expect when you think of Hong Kong dim sum, but it curbs the craving. Ordering is still the same: online and correspondence via text. Drive Up, park in numbered cone, text your car details and name, and wait. They detail this in the confirmation text/email, and also have signage upon driving up. All in all their flavors are good, just technical details like cooking time and execution could use some work.

Yelp
Best dim sum on the island. Maybe the only one. But everything here is good. You need to pre-order most things online days before and then pickup on Saturday or Sunday. Check website for details. I like how the good tastes healthier than traditional dim sum. No MSG

Yelp
Saturdays are for dim sum!!! The crispy pork was my favorite - I'm still drooling over that perfectly crisp pork skin. And the meat itself is juicy - not dry like some traditional Chinese BBQ places. We also got the lo mai fan, veggie chow fun, and bok choy - all great accompaniments to the pork. And get a side of shrimp toasts, you won't regret it. Sadly, i found that their actual dumplings were thick and starchy/chewy :( they were passed for me but I did appreciate that Only Ono BBQ had the only dim sum I could find in the island. Would definitely recommend for the other items - grab a BUNCH of food and picnic on one of the beautiful and quiet beaches in Paia!

Yelp
I've been hearing great things about this place so I was excited to find out they were catering the food at an event I attended. Due to Covid, the food was served in take out containers. It included chow fun, crispy pork belly, pork hash, and some type of dim sum (not sure of the name). Everything was really good! The chow fun was perfectly seasoned and made the old school way. The pork belly was tender and juicy and really crispy! The pork hash was as good as what you find in Chinatown. I'm not sure of the other dim sum in the plate. But it was good too. I've heard this place sells out fast and it can be hard to place orders. Now I know why! This place is tucked in Heritage Hall in Makawao.

Yelp
From food to service one of the best BBQ in Maui ... if you are ever in Island I Highly recommend !!!!

Yelp
Our first time trying here and Everything we ordered was amazing! Great tasting!!! I recommend trying everything on the menu! The roast pork is cooked to perfection! You won't be disappointed! Pictures on my post are of everything we tried.... And we ended up ordering more.

Yelp
All my husband and I do is, survive through the week and look forward to stuffing our faces with delicious dimsum every Saturday. Amazing, amazing roasted meats and dimsum. I do not even know where to start and on what because we order absolutely everything. Whatever we do not finish, we keep it for dinner. We do not even attempt to bring the food home before we dig into it, we bring a tray with our cutleries, a container of sri racha and we get the Maui Chili Oil which is great on the dimsum. We start eating in the car immediately after getting our food. Our favourites are definitely the Char Siu, Crispy Pork Belly, Curry Chicken Puff, Siu Mai, Gao Gee, Chive Dumpling, Jung, Lo Mai Fan, Manapua, Eggtarts, Bolo Bao, Gin Dui and even the Red Bean baos. Like I said, we love everything. We know the difference and are pretty fussy eaters. We are in Hong Kong a lot, San Francisco Chinatown for dimsum a lot, in Singapore and Malaysia every year. So yes, we get to eat delicious dimsum all around the world, delicious roasted meats too all around the world. Toni and Keith's food...definitely on par with the top places all over. PHENOMENAL Chinese food you just have to try to believe your eyes. We buy extra boxes of Manapua and chicken curry puff to bring with us to the mainland. That's how much we cannot live without Only Ono's delicious food.

Yelp
Crispy Pork Belly & BBQ Pork Ribs were out of this world!! Found them at the Fourth Friday in Kihei and I would highly recommend them!!
google avatar

Jane P.

Yelp
The dim sum here is good. It's not authentic, but I love the Hawaiian twist on some of the dishes. I did feel like some of the stuff had way too much carb on it. Some of the dishes had too much bread or wrapping that my husband and I had to just throw away ton of bread. I do wish there was more filling in some of the dishes. My favorite was the pineapple bun! I loved how it had actual pineapple filling inside of it. I also loved the pork buns! The bun was a sweet milk bread which was soft and paired perfectly withe the salty pork inside! All in all a good place to check out.

Yelp
Aloha! We ordered crispy roast pork- not great crispy was separated from pork-- more like pork slab Not as shown at all Also Roast pork- - looked great but mostly fat....the meat part (20%)very good... but 80% fat.... The shrimp dumplings needed some sauce but not provided till we asked. Pretty good though! Would not buy Pork again

Yelp
Wow! They make cha siu and siu yok that competes with the best of shops in Hong Kong. Siu yok has just the right crunch and great flavor. The cha siu bao and other baked goods are excellent. Roast duck is great too. On top of the great food, the people running it are extremely friendly and professional. Thank you for a great meal!! We will be back for sure. Have already told several local friends about it. Be prepared to order ahead and know it is take out only.

Henry J.

Yelp
We've been seeing the reviews and glad we hit this place at the Sunday Night Market. We tried the Char Siu but opted for a pound of the crispy pork belly. It was delicious but just a tad on salty side. Great with the Chinese mustard or tabasco.
google avatar

James D.

Yelp
This place is so ridiculously good. It's like a dimsum bbq hawaiian savagery. Get the crispy pork for sure, and the chicken puff, and the manapua. Haven't had a bad dish from them. Mahalo

Yelp
You can find Only Ono BBQ at various events around the island like the weekly Friday town parties, Maui Sunday Market, etc. They're not a food truck and don't have a stand alone shop, so you'll have to go to their website to download their monthly schedule. That's if it is updated. As of right now, the August schedule is not up, but your best bet are the previous events that I mentioned. Anywho, I first got wind of them at a First Friday event a couple of months ago. I was looking for a quick bite to eat and their egg tarts caught my eye. Unfortunately when I went to order they were all out. Boo! Not wanting to leave empty handed, I opted for their baked char siu manapua. It was the perfect tasty, little snack to walk around with and my son really enjoyed it so he got to have most of it! Saw them again a second time at the Maui Sunday Market last week and watched as they cut up some crispy roast pork. They must've noticed the drool collecting on our lips or the yearning in our eyes because he offered us a sample and it was deeee-licious! Their roast pork is super crispy, juicy, & has just the right amount of salt. No wonder it's their most popular dish! Instead of going with the plate lunch, we opted to purchase by the pound. Yep, we wanted all roast pork only. Haha. It's super good and I would highly recommend it for pork lovers! At events they exclusively sell Chinese food -- dishes in which they prepare the traditional Chinese way according to who I assume is the chef/owner? We didn't get his name. They do offer catering services as well with an extended menu where "East meets West." If you don't see an item on the menu, special requests can be made too. Definitely will be back to try their egg tarts next!
google avatar

Mellissa B.

Yelp
Find them at the Sunday Market or at their Paia location up Baldwin Avenue. Find them on IG and Facebook. Look out for their monthly menu, updates, and specials. Preorder by text for pickup. I ordered the dim sum special and a side of the special wings. It was a good way to try a bunch of different things. It was a lot of food. Really, it could have fed 4 instead of 2 like the description noted. My favorites that I will order again- the crispy pork, manapua, and pork hash. Due to covid, you text when you arrive. Payment via venmo or cash in an envelope. Food gets brought out to your car. Unfortunately, the wait was long after I arrived. I waited 45 minutes from the time I arrived till I received my order. Hopefully, they get the kinks worked out for faster service. Next time, I will request my food be prepped before I leave my house.

Goodboy M.

Yelp
We recently picked up a full set of goodies for 10 people and the following Tuesday went back for the Texas briskets for 5. The food was excellent especially the pork belly (5 STARS), duck (5 STARS) but the chive dumpling, siu mai and chicken gau gee were very good too. A couple of issue: 1. The dough for the bao is too thick, need to make super thin, 95% filing, and 5% dough. 2. Something is wrong with the har gow shrimp dumpling, the wrapping needs to be super thin and delicate, not thick and chewy. By the time I struggled through the wrapping, I lost interest in the filing.

Yelp
Sorry, not trying to ruin the ratings but my experience was subpar, to say the least! First, found out about these guys online. Everyone seemed to rave about them and their food. Checked out their menu, prices and specials. Seemed to be a current menu, since there were specific dates listed. Excited, I texted to inquire and then placed my order, via text. Got quick text responses at first, then crickets! All I was waiting for was confirmation of my order and the instructions on how to pickup, per our text conversation. Was supposed to come later that night but nothing. Next morning, nothing. Not a huge deal, but why am I doing the follow-up contacting when it's not my Business? I'm trying to spend money here, hopefully to get some good grub! 2 hours after asking for the promised instructions, I finally get a response and then the price quotes; some of which were higher than what was listed on the menu online. Dollar here, couple dollars there. Ok. I'll bite, since I'm excited to try the food. After all, have you seen the ratings?! So finally got confirmation of my order after several frustrating back and forth text messages. I really wanted to cancel at this point since why do I have to put so much effort in when I'm not the owner? I mean really, confirming the wrong order several times was extremely frustrating and having to triple check my order was finally correct! Couldn't you just look at the text under my phone number? I mean that's what I did! Made the long drive to Paia and waited in the parking lot of Heritage Hall, which is a great place for this type of thing. Well organized parking system with marked cones and vehicles social distancing. When you get there, you text to let them know you've arrived and what stall you're parked in. Gentleman came out with the food, which didn't look like it amounted to what I spent. The price to portion ratio was small! Half order for a full order price. Manapua was the saving grace! I ordered siu mai (4 pieces) but got 3 pieces of a shrimp dim sum. My fault for not checking before leaving, but we were starving at this point! Roast Pork was good but the price texted was higher than the menu price. Not worth $15 a pound. Char Siu was so-so and not worth $15 a pound, again higher than the menu price. Chow fun was good but not worth $13 in a half order container. Disappointing, since first impressions count during this economy. All in all, I really wanted to the food and this business but I left completely unsatisfied. I wish them the best but the only thing I'd come back for would be the manapua. Once they get the kinks out, it may be better but for now, 3 stars...and I'm actually being generous!

Yelp
UNBELIEVABLE. I was saying to my husband the other week the it was a shame that there isn't a lot of good Chinese food in Maui considering we have such a strong Asian population here and then I found Only Ono BBQ on my instagram feed. I decided to try them out because their photos of their Roast pork and Char Shiu pork looked just SO authentic. I also ordered the Yi Mein because - well, even though I normally am gluten free, it was Chinese New Year! So longevity noodles are a must. They were pretty busy when I went to pick up food - it was all done very safely where we were asked to text from the parking lot and they brought the food to the car. The gentleman was wearing a mask and gloves. Super safe. It did take a while so you might need to be prepared for a bit of a wait for the food to come to you, but it's well worth the wait. What is the saying? Good things come to those who wait? It is so very true here. I took a peek in each box before driving away. The smell was absolutely intoxicating. I got a little bit of the char shiu glaze on my fingers and I must have looked like a freak smelling my fingers on my drive back. I didn't get a chance to actually eat for maybe an hour after picking it up. That would normally compromise food quality. However, I took my first bite of the roast pork - the skin was so crispy and crunchy and perfectly seasoned, the meat was juicy and tender and seriously my mouth is watering just remembering the experience. The Char Shiu pork was UH-Mazing. I've had a lot of roast pork and Char shiu pork in my day being a Chinese foodie, and this was the BEST I've ever had in my entire life of going to San Francisco Chinatown every weekend as a child, and living near San Gabriel for most of my adult life. The Yi Mein was SO flavorful with lots of shiitake mushrooms and green onions, the noodles were just perfectly bouncy. YUM! This weekend I'm ordering the smoked roast duck and I cannot wait. I saw a photo of their beef chow fun and it looks so legit I'm kicking myself for missing that weekend because I wasn't yet aware of them! You can see when someone is passionate about what they are doing - and here you can definitely taste it and see it in the food. If you get a chance, order from them - it's so well worth it. I'm still reeling from the flavors!

Yelp
Blown away! I wasn't expecting some Chinese home cooking on Maui, but the roast pork and bbq pork especially were outstanding. Had a chance to meet the chef, Keith, and he's basically my uncle. My new favorite uncle. We'll be back the next time we're on Maui!

Yelp
Wow!! First time in Maui and did some research (as one does) before deciding to include Only Ono BBQ in our culinary itinerary...and I'm SO glad I did. We ordered four items (all recommended by Keith, the proprietor) 1. Roast Pork; 2. Char Siu; 3. Siu Mai (dumplings); and 4. Egg Custard Tarts. The Roast Pork was simply exquisite! A brittle-like crunch on the fatty part gave way to moist, perfectly cooked pork. No seasonings/sauces needed (or wanted). The pork IS the star! If you get nothing else from Only Ono BBQ, get this. We picked up our order and went to a beach park for lunch. Wife and I eat, then she has one of the egg tarts...and THEN goes back for more pork!! To be fair, the Char Siu, and Siu Mai were equally delicious, and the next time I'm on Maui I will order all four of these items without hesitation...plus a few others. It's not a restaurant...they have a catering business, but offers to-go orders. 1. Place your order online 2. schedule a pickup time 3. Pull in the parking lot and they bring it out. Don't forget a cooler of beer!

Yelp
We went to First Friday in Wailuku tonight. We tried a few new places food wise and I'm glad the young gentleman offered a sample of the Roast Pork to me. I had a sample in my hand, turned around to see where my beau walked off to, popped the piece of Roast Pork in my mouth and I was sold. I took less than 5 steps away from the stand they had and I was sold. I decided I wanted a Roast Pork plate. The Roast Pork was so soft and juicy, but it still had crispy skin. I don't normally eat pieces of fat or skin and I enjoyed this.. a lot. It came with braised Bok Choi and a thing of hot mustard(I didn't know it was hot mustard, dipped my fork in it and tried it, ended up jumping for the water lol) and a scoop of rice. I had my beau taste it and he also thought it was delicious. He went back and got the Char Siu because I wanted to try it. The Char Siu was a bit oily but the marinate was pretty good. The Char Siu plate came with the braised Bok Choi and a scoop of rice. Overall I liked this place. I believe I spoke to the owner about their next locations and he was really nice about it. Only things I have to kinda complain about is the fact that I didn't know it was hot mustard in the little cup and the Char Siu was a little on the oily side. Other than that, I would definitely go back and try other dishes. Thank you!

Yelp
I initially heard about Only Ono BBQ from a friend and was reminded about them from fellow Yelper Vince. I love that they have a limited menu. Keep it small and simple. I opted for their Roast Pork plate for $10. HOLY PORK HEAVEN!!! Crispy skin, juicy meat, seasoned well with a large scoop of rice and won bok. The little had Manapua and she ate it all. Considering she's a picky eater and she left nothing behind speaks volumes. I wish I ordered their egg tart, but because i knew I'd waste it, I decided it'll give me a reason to return. So if you see them pop up. Don't hesitate!

carol L.

Yelp
Stopped at Sunday Market and saw they had the longest line and many people waiting for their orders. so though we have to try it. The manapua was waaaaay to salty. I couldn't finish it. The bbq / char siu pork was a little to sweet. The egg tarts gave my husband stomach pains and diarrhea. Thank goodness I didn't have one. The roast pork would've been good if it wasn't so fatty.

Yelp
Loved the food here. The roast pork and char sui was delicious. Their customer service was great. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends who travel to Maui.

Yelp
On-line photos/reviews look legit; thought would give it a try. Very disappointed ... Order was 20 minutes late according to pick-up time. Char Siu - salty & dry Lo Mai Fun - mushy, passable Har How, Sui Mai - gooey, mushy filling (not sure what it is?) Sorry, this is so very not dim sum. False advertisement. First & last.

Yelp
We had the curbside order-ahead Saturday dim sum. We ate one one dim sum set (lots of food) for $30. Fantastic food and good service all around! The roast pork was especially good. Highly recommend for dim sum on Maui!

Yelp
We really wanted dim sum while we were in Maui so I ordered from here. It's just okay though I love the drive to and the surrounding area. The Siu Mai was just okay. The Barbecue pork was way too fatty but it was okay. The chicken curry puff was fantastic but we both enjoyed the custard tart the best. I haven't had custard tart like that for a long time. We were picnicking on the beach and were not given utensils....we should have asked. Word to the wise if you are going to a picnic.

Yelp
Place: Maui Sunday Market. What we got the Hawaiian style Roast Pork. This was a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth plate. The crispy skin was incredible. We also got the custard tarts. They 'persuaded' us to buy 4 - we should have got more! So fresh and tasty. If you see these guys at an eventmake sure to buy too much.

Yelp
The procedure for picking up your order is that you text your info upon arrival, however when I arrived their texting service was down. There were about 10 cars waiting and nobody could get a text through. So when the gentleman who was delivering orders came out I told him the text service was down (he already was aware) and gave him my name. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes, no order. When I saw him again I asked where my order was and he said "it isn't ready". Several cars also sat there about as long as I did waiting for orders, it wasn't just a mistake with my order. I told them to cancel and left. The dim sum is fairly good, and the only game in town, but service is also important and is clearly lacking.

Yelp
Custard Tart was AMAZING!! Sadly we didn't try any of the meals but devoured the Custard Tart and went back for more! Must try! The owners & staff are super nice & pleasant.

Yelp
We catered Only Ono BBQ for our daughters graduation dinner. This was the first time we've ever eaten their food but found raving reviews for this place so we were excited to try them. The ordering process was very simple. They responded to our request right away. They delivered the food to our house on time and our guest loved the food. The dim sum, mini baked manapua, elote, roast pork and custard tarts were delicious! The only problem was, it was so good that the guest ate it all! If they had a store front, I would be a regular customer. I'm still dreaming of the dim sum and manapua. If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would. It was a great overall experience from beginning to end and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Yelp
Awesome food here. So far whatever I've tried it was onolicious. My ultimate favorite is the roast pork plate along with the egg tart dessert. They also deliver food on certain Tuesdays which is convenient for my work place.

Yelp
I just tried their food yesterday at Shops at Wailea. The food was spectacular... the roast pork was crispy and juicy at the same time! The manapua is a must try delicacy. The bbq pork also tasted really good. The owner and staff are also very nice. Customer service at its finest. Their tasty food makes me wish they are available at all times. Browsing through their social media pages and seeing pictures (beef, ribs, bbq pork, crispy roast pork)... AHHHH... they all look so good. Aside from the events, is there a set location I can go in order to purchase these awesome, delicious food?
