On the Grid : Only You

"This boutique hotel somehow manages to be luxurious and not pretentious at the same time. The perfect location for a weekend getaway. And, it offers the added bonus of bragging rights. When you get home and someone asks you where you stayed, you can totally be like, “Oh, just a real-life 19th century pallazo. No big deal.”" - Half & Twice

Stylish Hotel with Great Service and Thoughtful Amenities We enjoyed our stay at Only YOU Atocha — the hotel is beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details. You’ll find every amenity you might need, including a hair straightener in the room, which was a nice surprise. We had originally booked a balcony room, but it faced a noisy construction area. Thankfully, the staff was very kind and promptly moved us to a quieter room, which made our stay much more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also excellent — great variety and quality. Overall, a solid choice in Madrid with attentive service and everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

The room was comfortable and spacious, which I really appreciated. The lighting was a little on the dim side, especially in the corridors — the lights only come on when someone walks by, so it was quite dark when I stepped out of the elevator, which felt a bit spooky at first. I understand it's meant to save energy, which is great, but perhaps there's a way to make it feel a bit more welcoming. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Went there with my family for one night to connect to the train station towards our final destination. In short, what a cozy, warm, positive energy place... The space utilization all over the hotel in tandem with the internal design was just amazing. The service was so warm in a way only the Spanish can do.. The location is perfect, 35 minute walk to Plaza Mayor and the Prado museum is even closer... We went to Plaza Mayor to stretch our legs and have a meal.... I short my favorite new hotel in Madrid

We have just returned from a stay at this hotel and currently I would not recommend it as a place to stay. The hotel is fine, very nice in fact but there is currently major metro construction works ongoing right outside the front of the hotel and the noise disturbance from this is absolutely awful. The work with digger etc started at 6.30am and therefore no chance of being able to sleep after that. Although this maybe outside of the hotels control I think that we should have been made aware of the potential noise issues and I think that we should have been offered an alternative room away from the road. We had a deluxe room with a balcony. I've never had such a non deluxe hotel experience. The works are likely to be ongoing for some considerable time so if I were you I'd think twice before booking here.

Our stay at Only YOU Hotel Atocha began with pure magic, thanks to the incredible Antonio Bayon at guest services. After a long international flight, we arrived at the hotel bleary-eyed and hoping for a miracle — and Antonio delivered! At 6 AM, no less, he worked his magic and secured us beautiful rooms, saving us from what would’ve been a groggy day of wandering Madrid with our luggage in tow.||Antonio was the epitome of kindness and professionalism. His warm welcome made us feel immediately cared for, and his efficiency and generosity truly set the tone for the rest of our stay. I don’t know what we would’ve done without him — he was, without exaggeration, the best part of our travel day.||As for the hotel itself? Chic, creative, and absolutely adorable. The design details made every corner a joy to discover, and the vibe felt both stylish and welcoming. But what really elevated our experience was the service — and Antonio was the shining star of it all.||Thank you, Antonio! We’re still singing your praises.

This hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The rooms are so cool and modern. The front desk staff is incredible. They are so nice and helpful. Special thanks to Cataein, Salma, and Mercedes for going above and beyond to help us get around Madrid and find everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location, right across from the train station. We had a lovely welcome from the staff offering a very much appreciated glass of cava. The hotel is busy with a lively buzz. We had a very nice breakfast although the layout of the restaurant does not create the best environment for a buffet. But the food was very nice.

Yelp
Lovely hotel. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Wonderful happy helpful staff in every department. A comfortable haven after a long day of walking in the sun visiting the many wonderful places in Madrid. Our room with king size bed was perfect. The cafe in the lobby a great place to rest and chill out. Rooftop bar restaurant excellent. We Highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I stayed here for three nights and I could not be more pleased with my stay. First off the decor of this hotel, was amazing! It had a touch of history and a modern twist. Don't be alarmed when you see a dark hallway, there are motions lights and they will turn on! I loved all the mirrors in the room, it made getting ready a little special. The roof top bar was equally private and relaxing. There was a large craft cocktail menu and a small bar bite menu. I also was very impressed with the breakfast set up. Plenty of local cuisine to choose from and an omelette station, nuts, fruit, fresh juices and yogurts. I think for me, it was the small things I liked a lot about this hotel. The cute messages along with it; sayings on coffee mugs, relaxation terrace, just everywhere! I can't recommend this hotel enough! The location to the train station and Park is right around the corner.

Yelp
Modern, sleek and amazingly well managed. Excellent service - all our questions answered all our needs met. Right in the center of Atrocha train station and metro - extremely convenient to transit around the city. Rooms are on the small size but very cozy and clean. Rooftop restaurant was the best and the design of the hotel is all eye candy with its funky structures and patterns.

Yelp
Last year I had lunch with a friend at Only You's lobby restaurant. The food and the service were great! The decor is eclectic and modern. This is a very nice hotel just steps away from the Atocha train station.

Yelp
I highly recommend this hotel. It's hospitality is as amazing as the design and comfort of the hotel. They have a beautiful breakfast station starting at 7am, it's I believe $20 pp, buffet style, however you won't regret it. The rooms are modern and beautiful. There are many attractions to walk to during the day such as the museum and many restaurants, and markets are within a 10 min drive. You won't regret it.

Yelp
The Only YOU Atocha on the Paseo Infanta Isabel opposite Puerta de Atocha railway station is a beautiful, Lázaro Rosa-Violán interior-designed hotel. Step in and you are greeted with a sweeping, fluid, borderless amalgamation of hotel lobby, restaurant, bar, barbershop and bakery. I would come back to this hotel for its design alone. The rooms are spacious and carry on with the same nostalgic theme. The breakfast area is amazing too. So is breakfast itself (much, much better than the similarly priced H10 Hotel I also stayed at). Service is friendly yet professional. I have three gripes, a) the hotel is close to the Puerta de Atocha railway station but not much else, b) I hate the corridors, and c) the restaurant (attached to the bar) downstairs needs to improve. Other than that, this is a superb little hotel which I have no reservations in recommending. Waste NOT. Want NOT. Instagram @ravenousxerxes xerxes@dellara.com

Yelp
This is our second stay at this wonderful hotel, just across the street from the Atocha train station. I can't say enough about this place: the rooms were quiet, clean, spacious... And the staff was extraordinary. The food was great. The pastries were great. We'll plan to stay there when we return!

Yelp
We took the yellow bus for 5 euro from the airport directly to 1 block away from the hotel-- so easy. Then we were lucky enough to check in early at 11 am . The concierge was helpful with a map and recommendations for restaurants and what to do . The restaurants and tapas were delicious. The hotel is close to the Museums and metro. We were able to get everywhere by walking or by public transportation. The staff were friendly and bilingual. Great for us because we can only speak English Would return again

Yelp
Fabulous service , fun friendly vibe, cool ultra chic urban hotel close to Retiro Park. Outstanding breakfast and awesome staff

Yelp
The hotel receptionists lied to my face. Prior to checking in AND while checking out, I asked to make adjustments to my dates since I was flying home early due to personal medical needs. I was told by two receptionist that my stay would need to be adjusted by booking.com. I reached out to booking.com and they told me the hotel should have taken care of my changes in accommodations. So either the hotel lied or booking.com lied, either way both services failed to meet my needs especially during a time where it involved medical issues. Will never use either service again and will inform others as well to use other sites since its been made clear they do not care about guests once they get their money.
