Kiyoyasu House Roppongi

Just a one-minute walk from Roppongi Crossing, this hidden spot surrounded by seasonal flowers offers one of the best tonkatsu and wagyu katsu experiences I’ve ever had in Japan. I tried the Yamato Pork Loin Katsu (180g, ¥2,500) — award-winning pork with amazing juiciness and crispiness — and the Japanese Beef Sirloin Rare Katsu (100g, ¥3,500), perfectly tender and full of flavor. Both came with seasonal appetizers and well-crafted condiments. The setting is calm and elegant, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality. Definitely one of the most memorable and worth-it lunch sets in Tokyo. Highly recommended if you’re around Roppongi!

Came here for dinner. Restaurant is downstairs. Really nice atmosphere, including a little pond and private rooms. The food and service were both excellent.

The atmosphere is nice but the pricing is just not honest… We booked the 13,200 course and as you can see on the pictures, all dishes are very small… we had to go to buy onigiri at the konbini after. We were very surprised to hear when we seat that the drink were not included, it was not clearly mentioned when we booked the place, and for 13,200 jpy we assume it was included. we ended up with a crazy bill and I regret that we went here… if you come I would say it’s better if you don’t order a course… please check the menu before making a reservation..

Wonderful atmosphere. Every room is private and seated with tatamis and very comfortable. Lunch was great. Options were soba or rice. I ordered the shrimp tempura with rice. The soba dishes were excellent. Flavor was great and noodles were made and cooked perfectly.

Nice kaiseki set. Nice private room for group.

The private room is quite nice, and the food is excellent. But the other guests probably from another room are very loud and noisy, all the time! This ruins the atmosphere completely! Very annoying!

Came here for lunch. Seems most people make reservations (even for weekday lunch!) But we were able to sit at the counter without one, when we walked in before the lunchtime rush. Their burgers are signature, it's fatty but juicy and flavorful. I added some sushi on the side and it was excellent. Regular sized will fill you up as this is high calorie, and comes with lots of side dishes.

Excellent location, exquisitely planned and prepared kaiseki meal. Decor also thoroughly impressed my out of town guests. Appreciated all the attention to detail and thank you for letting me introduce this dining experience to folks from abroad.
